Resort was great for the price. Not extremely extravagant but the food, people, and atmosphere made up for all of that. If ur ok with a resort that doesn't look super fancy but everything else is good than this is the place formyou

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort for families, not for young people

Jerk hut was great! Adult pool too shallow and small, kind of dirty. Buffet food was ok. Beaches were great! especially the island. Was not happy about the closing time of 6pm for the pools. Rooms were ok. Dissappointed in not having enough night life.

Holiday Inn Orlando Suites - Waterpark: Great family vacation spot

The hotel was great for a family vacation. Went with my daughter and my grandkids. They loved the pool and splash pad--the adult pool was under construction while we were there so didn't get to enjoy it. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite close to the splash pad, and I was concerned after reading other reviews that it would be nosey. It wasn't at all, though we were not there on a weekend. Th [... read more]e hotel is located just about 5 minutes from Disney and offers free shuttles to any of the theme parks, which we took advantage of. The 4D movies at the hotel are expensive and not as good as the ones we saw at Magic Kingdom--I wouldn't do that again. There is a batman laser challenge that we never got the chance to experience--again seems a little pricy. We had a great time, staff were very friendly and all In all we would stay there again. Remember, a vacation is what you make of it- I did read a lot of reviews before I left that made me concerned-but remember people always seem to point out the bad things more than the good. Yes we did have to pay extra for parking and there were some hidden costs that I wasn't expecting but I would so do it all over again!

Holiday Inn at Universal: Perfect Location!

Great location, close to the parks, shopping and dining! Pool was great to cool down after a long day of adventures. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and provided a gift shop on site, where we were able to purchase emergency medicine and pick up some things we didn't get to while out. Travelling with a group of 6 can be difficult but we did not experience any negatives during our stay.

Holiday Inn Orlando Suites - Waterpark: Great Hotel for Kids!

This hotel had lots for kids to do. The water slides, pool, basketball courts, mini golf, pool table, 4D theater. laser room and arcade provided enough variety for kids of all ages. As well the eating areas and stores in the market were a great addition. Things we liked: The pool side events held each day for all to participate in, pool side movie nights (swim and watch), the water slides and large bucket drop, other activities in the pool area, the pizza place in the market and lots of pa [... read more]rking. The staff everywhere in the resort where friendly and accommodating and the lifeguards took their job seriously. Things to improve: Fresh towels and extra toilet paper should be checked on each day when the rooms are being cleaned. Guests should be aware that there are a limited number of spaces on the early free shuttles to parks, especially if you have booked fast passes for the beginning of the day. Recommendation: Adopt the green towel program. Place a notice in each room asking guests to reuse their towels to save energy. If one needs to be replaced leave it on the side of the tub so staff can change it out.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Good Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed the Holiday Inn. The service was excellent, the price was the best of the all inclusive hotels, the rooms were clean, the grounds were the best around, the pools were clean, and service at the meal times was superb, the cab service was very good. We have only one comment regarding the buffet meals. The food left uncovered soon became cold.We liked many items but they were cold so we didn't eat them. Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista: Fantastic stay!!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs, the staff were all so welcoming and accommodating. Shuttle service to the parks was great, our room was super clean and comfortable. Highlight was the tiki bar by the pool and TJ the bartender! We'd definitely return to this hotel.

Our family, two adults from Alberta, three adults from here with a teenager went to the Holiday Inn resort. We found the food awesome, drinks flowed, and staff professional. Special shout out to entertainment staff Theron, excellent driver Mike M. Who took us to our excursions, wait staff Odaine and Ewan and all the great housekeeping people. The pool area was great, most of the workers were very eager to please Unfortunately we had a bad experience with housekeeping, The floors were dirty we always had to ask for towels, One day they never even cleaned our room

We had a great time at this resort. Lots to do, especially for kids. Rooms are clean and service was great. We would definetely return here!! The only thing I would recommend is to have the pools open until 11 during the week instead of 10.

Catalonia Montego Bay: 3 out of 5 star resort

This resort is only OK. Theres nothing special about it. Its a 10 minute ride from the airport. We booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 kids under the age of 2. We asked to have a crib brought to our room which had metal bars and a mattress that was too small, there was a gap between the bars and the mattress so my 6 month old slept in bed with us. The room was small and I was a little disappointed so we asked to upgrade to a suite, it would cost an extra $150 per night, but we never did it [... read more]. If you want a seat at the beach or pool you have to get up around 6am to put your towel down to reserve it. The ocean is SO shallow here, but good for kids. The sand is free of anything sharp and sand fleas. The food is OK. Nothing special to me. They dont know how to cook potatoes because they were always undercooked. The worst part of my vacation is that we went for lunch and came back to a room smelling so strongly of bleach that it hurt our eyes, our kids couldnt be in the room. Upon further inspection there was bleach stains on 5 articles of brand new clothing! We went to the manager and she said they dont clean with bleach. We went upstairs with her to talk to the maid who admitted she cleaned with bleach. We were refunded the value and put into a suite for the night. The suite was a really nice room and I recommend getting one. It had a living room, bedroom, bathtub and separate shower.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: good value

Conveniently located with easy walk to major supermarket, la comier (mega), and the towns main square and local stores. The hotel itself was adequate and functional although a bit dated. Rooms were clean and cleaned everyday although sometimes late in the day. Staff were always friendly and willing to help. The only negative with the room was that we had no kleenex for 3 days. The food was good with a good variety each day, including a wide range of fruits. Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Holiday

The flight.....first time....was great. The Holiday Inn resort was a fun, clean and welcoming resort. We were greeted with drinks as we checked in and a porter took our things to our room. There was a safe which was great....No extra charge. The rooms were always cleaned daily and the beds were comfortable. The Holiday Inn Resort is a great resort to go to whether with family or couples. From the moment you enter, you are treated with Royalty. Fresh fruit punch welcomes you and a porter takes your luggage to your room. Beds are comfy are rooms are spacious. The hospitality is first and foremost at this resort, as well as other resorts I've had the honor of being a guest of, in the beautiful country. Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Resort

Went to Jamaica for the first time and stayed at this resort. The resort is a little older but kept in great shape. The staff was very accommodating and I thought the food was great. We go to Cuba often so food isn't top priority to us but found the food here to be very comparable to food here at home and there were enough buffet choices. The buffet wasn't huge but you could always find something to eat. The beach was nice but not a beach that you can take a long stroll on as it's broken up into [... read more] sections. It was kept clean and they would have some service on the beach for drink orders which was great. Our room was standard and always clean. I loved the fact that everyone spoke English so easy to communicate. Didn't realize how much I would enjoy this as we are used to going places where their first language is Spanish. All in all had a fabulous vacation in Jamaica and we will definitely go back again.

First time in Jamaica for the group of 5 of us. we will all go back.. The resort was very clean, pubic washrooms very clean and stocked with lots of toilet paper, rooms very clean and up dated, food was very good threw out the resort. all staff was very friendly and helpful.. liked the layout of the resort... The night entertainment was ok.. we really like to sit on a patio near the water with live music and having a few drinks.. very nice being close to the airport.

Enjoyed our stay at this resort price was good and it was very clean grounds were kept up . Most of the staff were very friendly but some were not so nice unless you tipped .Food was good the only complaint I had was the first room they put us in had only one bed for two women . but they changed it the very next day . We were invited to a managers dinner because it was my second time there and it was a really nice night with dinner and prizes . Great Holiday

We were in Unit 6. Our room was in good condition and our bed was very comfortable. no issue with the service or cleanliness. always had fresh towels and hot water. the grounds were well kept. a larger adult pool would have been preferable. The meals were good. The a la carte restaurants were excellent except for the Italian one - ran out of prime rib which was disappointing, the waiter was very apologetic, unfortunately it was our last night at hotel so did not have a chance to got back to try  [... read more]again. Entertainment was great, provided an insight into the Jamaican culture. Staff were friendly and hardworking.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Good resort, poor beach

We are beach people so we were not very happy when we saw the beach. Very shallow and when the tide is out full of vegetation. Some snorkelling off the pier with lion fish. Good service and food. Very friendly staff. Our last night a family with a baby moved next door and we were woken up at 3am by her crying. You can hear everything!
