Grand Oasis Cancun: Nice resort but too big

The hotel is very clean and beautiful but for my taste its too big you need to walk a lot for everything. The pools are very nice and clean. The buffet you wait in line for all meals for at least 20 mins. The a la carte are not as long to wait and are good. The rooms are clean but the last day we were there we found 3 cockroaches. The service in the room for great. The shows as night are beautiful. The wifi was not free and some other stuff that was told we were getting we couldn't get we had to [... read more] pay.

Grand Oasis Palm: Not suitable for everyone

It was a very busy resort where there were two hotels using one number of services/beach space. Very long line ups for the restaurants and buffets had limited options as well as trays would at times be empty. It seemed that in certain areas, they were understaffed for the very high number of guests. Limited space both by the beach and pool. Lounge chairs need to updated and not enough for all the guests. Some people were sitting in the sand or sharing chairs. More suitable for families with chi [... read more]ldren as well. Kids apparently stay there free. Hence, there were a lot of children at this resort.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort.

Great pool and beachfront on the family side. Restaurants aren’t too bad...very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of excursions available, but the resort offers quite a lot of things for kids/families to do also.

Grand Oasis Sens: Amazing Adults Only Vacay!!!

This hotel was very good at maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, rooms and overall area. There was always someone cleaning up dishes, washing floors, giving out towels and sheets for the outdoor beds, making sure you had what you needed etc. Everyone for the most part was friendly but the only thing I would suggest is they need more than one bartender per bar. They looked a bit overwhelmed but always were polite and served everyone as best they could. The buffet was open at breakfast and had your typical items and was good. It was closed at lunch but there was always other options to choose from. The Italian place was really good...who doesn't want steak and shrimp for lunch? The buffet was a bit disappointing for dinner but overall it was acceptable. It was just a bit small with little selection but since there were so many al a carte's, there was no need to visit the buffet. All you have to do is visit the al a carte you want to go for dinner about an hour before and make a reservation. Be there early because everyone lines up. They don't do the "make all your reservations" on one day or even on the morning of. If your bar fridge doesn't get any bottled water just visit the lobby bar as they give some out there as well. The night club is basically on level 2, which is the main pool level at the back. If you don't mind thumpety thump from 10pm until 2am each night.....I suggest getting the rooms we did on the main walk out level 2. It is a bit of a weird set up since its a pyramid style hotel....lots of stairs and its great for exercise but not wheelchair/disability friendly though. As an example if you want to be able to walk out of the sliding doors right to the pool, bar and sushi bar....get an EVEN number room. Either 218,220,222,224,228,230. there were a couple around the corner next to those but they didn't have sliding door access as you would have to walk around. Its great at that spot as you can sit outside your door they have two loungers for you to use. Plus there are 3 oversized beds which are basically oversized loungers for groups to hang out or couples. I suggest you get up early and put a couple towels and maybe a shirt or two on it to save it. By around 8am all of the spots get taken.....just don't got it for the day if you only plan on using it for an hour :) The entertainment was really good and I suggest reserving a spot for the Cabaret show at the Oasis Pyramid - they provide transportation and its free! The night club has a show each night and do NOT miss the burlesque show its hot!! One last thing....don't miss the foam party in the topless/hidden pool.....that was fun :)

The Pyramid Cancun: Wonderful family trip!

The resort was very clean and well maintained. The gardens were immaculate and beautiful and everything we wanted in a resort. I loved the peacocks roaming the property. The beach was stunning just like out of a magazine. Our favorite restaurants were Le Buffet and Maki Taco where the service was top notch. I wanted to thank one special staff at Maki Taco restaurant. Grand Oasis Cancun: Stay away

Not a place for an enjoyable vacation. Old and dated hotel, terrible service all around, definitely not family friendly. Go somewhere else!!! Emporium hotel a few doors down is superb for families with children. Clean and quite.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Great Grand Oasis Tulum

I chose this place for relaxation base on the recommendation from a colleague of mine and today back to work I much appreciated her. I really could not see any point that I was not delighted or happy about. Above all the staff are great there; so friendly, tidy, sincere, caring and genuine. Beach and scenery was beautiful Very livelyperfect for families with kids Food variety was limited but delicious Two of the restaurants "white box and Creyers" were the only good ones Our bed was very soft and uncomfortable told front desk 3 times to do something about it but no result Clean and organized resort Check in and check out was very smooth Overall 4 star

The Pyramid Cancun: Great Party Resort but wouldn’t bring kids

A group of 4 early 30s guys travelled here for 4 days and had a blast. We were in a pair of ocean front rooms and we don’t really have any complaints about anything. The food was excellent the rooms were clean and in good condition. My only suggestion is that you get the black bands which we had because apparently the lesser packages had a lot of things they couldn’t do. But black bands could do whatever we wanted. The Pyramid Cancun: Excellent

Despite other reviews we decided to give this resort a chance. So glad that we did! The pyramid had So many food and drink options, great service and amazing staff. Room was nice and clean, beautifully decorated. We traveled as a couple, 26 and 29 years old and must say there was something here for everyone. The pool area seemed to section off into family side and party side, while the entire beach was open with a convenient bar closely located for black and gold bracelet guests. Grand Oasis Sens: Don’t stay at Grand Oasis Sens

Worst all-inclusive experience ever. Staff was rude (except reception & bell boys). Rooms weren’t stocked, no alcohol in rooms except beer, supposed to be all inclusive? Bartenders would roll their eyes at me every time I asked for a drink, lights were out by midnight, food was mediocre, pool towels are rough, wifi connection shitty, just a brutal experience. I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody.

Grand Oasis Sens: Friendly crew, but not a big deal resort!

Hidden pool is the nicest place to rest, but be ready to wake up 6:30am if you want to ensure a nice place besides the pool. If you don't do that, people will put an old book and "reserve" the place for the full day. No restaurant 24h is a shame. The ALL inclusive actually is not all. The best restaurants require extra payment, something over 65 US dollar per person per dinner. Other pools have an awesome view of the ocean but are too shallow. It is a pool for babies!

Grand Oasis Riviera: Bad

My fridge door was broken I ask them to fix it . They didn't fix it. I had to ask for water every day . No pool towel .we have to wait on line every time food . No free wifi that was very inconvenient. Just one buffet restaurant for lots of guests . Bad service in the restaurant , we have to ask for soda pop or water few times . I would never go there

Grand Oasis Palm: 5 stars, not so sure

You canno do reservations in advance for a la carte dinner and have to do line ups the same day to reserve a spot, if lucky ! You have to wait in line for a table and then line up for buffet .... not a good experience waiting that much to have a meal during vacations. Accommodations are good for a 5 stars hotel.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great resort for families with young kids

hotel is great and perfect for kids - not your party resort amenities was a bit dated but not bad for the price we paid Don't overlook the baby club - there is a hidden area for younger kids need to venture out for shops and retails, but do create a quieter setting

Grand Oasis Cancun: Was not so happy with resort

I was not happy with the hotel as it did not have 24/7 drinking bars nor did my room have a safe. Although julia from trip central helped me out A lot and made things very easy. Although I booked a early trip back because the hotel was very bad. And very bad service. I had to wait 20mins to get a drink. At a bar.

Grand Oasis Cancun: The Grand Oasis

The trip was fun, and the beach and pools were very good for partying with friends. Would recommend this place for groups of friends in their 20's/30's. Definitely would not recommend this resort for children. Also, be warned that if you go and you are under 25 you will get charged $30 USD as soon as you walk in without being warned. Also, you are expected to tip everywhere you go despite that its an all inclusive, and water is a very scarce resource. Grand Oasis Cancun: Grand oasis

1- Non refundable 30 dollar insurance fee upon arrival which was never indicated to us. 2- Limited to a select few restaurants and activities without vip black wrist band which was not specified when buying the all inclusive package. 3-limited to 1 bottle of water a day and could not buy or find any bottled water on the resort. Had to go off resort to buy water. 4-food made our party sick and was very limited. The Italian restaurant was the only good spot and Gregorio the server wa [... read more]s excellent. 5-servers/bartenders demanded tips for everything or would not serve you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay due to the pool bar, beach and nightlife. I would hardly call this resort an all inclusive based on points specified above.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Horrible!

Rooms were disasters. No blankets, terrible service. Not clean. Mini fridge didn’t work. Party resort for sure, but still should be held to standard. Food was decent only at the steak house but the buffets were absolutely terrible.

Grand Oasis Palm: Family friendly

The resort was nice and very family friendly. There should be an adult zone in the pool bar area. Didn't like how you book the al a carte and not enough staff to work the bars. Standing in lines is not fun when your on holidays. Resort was clean and well maintained. Staff was very nice and friendly.
