Secrets La Romana: Top notch resort

We had a swim out room that looked out to the large adult pool and sea. Great location and view. Food was really good with different options to eat at. Every time you went to eat you were asked if anyone in you party had food allergies and they went out of their way to accommodate. Rooms were a good size and maid service was great. Thanks Nancy. We would definitely return.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Nice resort

View of pool and beach from room was lovely. Hotel was very clean. Room well equipped. Grounds neat. Service was great in all areas. Food selection for evenings could be improved. Safety issues with wind and pool umbrellas. Umbrellas had to be put down several times thereby eliminating shade opportunity.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great Place

Was down there over New Years. No problems with the flights but I would recommend carry on and not checking bags. Heard lots of stories of missing baggage. Transfer from the airport seamless. Check in seamless. They can change larger US bills into 1s and 5s for tips. Bring some US cash. The resort was great. Rooms clean, buffet good. Went to the Caribbean, Italian and Seafood restaurants. Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Beautiful resort

The rooms are spectacular, outside the grounds are really clean. Everything well maintained. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The food is not bad but always the same all week. Need to change that for me to go back. The pool and beach are good.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Wonderful resort for families

My suite was beautiful and large and extremely clean with a spacious bathroom Staff were wonderful! Food was very good especially the Italian restaurant and service was excellent with waiters very friendly with our baby Pool was too cold unfortunately On the plus side they had a pool playground and playroom for children which was good And an ice cream and candy store:) Beach was lovely nice white sand and not too crowded at this time Mid December

This hotel is a perfect size with amazing staff! Very close to 5th Avenue for any shopping needs. The food is abundant and always fresh. If you would like something different and can't find it in the ample buffet just ask the chef & he/she will try their best to accomodate your request. The only complaint I would mention is the lack of lounge chairs around the pools. It's a race every morning to get chairs. Dreams Rose Hall: Average resort

We looked at a lot of reviews before we made our decision to stay at this resort but the very favourable reviews did not reflect reality. Rooms were very average and a bit dated, albeit clean. Walls were paper thin, so we could hear neighbors in other rooms- very noisy. Food was quite good. Most Hotel staff were lovely and worked hard to offer good service. Pictures of resort were incredibly well done and made it appear nicer than it was but overall it was a decent experience.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Not recommended

Although the hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very clean, it stops there, the food quality at the buffet was terrible,, only restaurant worth going too was the mexican restaurant. Steak house was not that great. Alcohol at the resort started at 11:00 am and would stop serving at 11:00 pm. Only way you could get food was room service after 10:00 pm that's their idea of 24 hours for food. The beach they advertise on their pictures is false...its washed away behind the hotel. Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Great Resort

I love the coffee shop it was amazing all of us loved it . Buffet was great, amix of Mexican food as well as international. The most amazing thing was the service. Every single staff member was amazing. I had a junior suite , it was great however at night I could hear everything from the outside so I did not like that too much. Dreams La Romana: Beautiful, quiet family resort

The resort is very picturesque with lovely landscaping and a long shoreline. The ocean is calm and is great for swimming and snorkelling. Rooms are small - they only allow cots in suites. Service is very attentive and food options are plentiful. There are even resident flamingos. We enjoyed it greatly and hope to be back one day.

Great Family Hotel. Service is good, Food is Good, Top Shelf alcohol ( I drank Hennesey and Gray Goose all week) Place is beautiful. Staff is really nice. Beach is really nice , Pools are fantastic. Don't overthink it. Just GO!

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: We loved our stay!

My husband and I kust returned from a weeks vacation at the Ziva. This has been our favourite vacation to date. I can't say enough good things about the staff and by staff I mean EVERYONE. We were looking for a relaxing vacation with good food, beautiful grounds and entertaining shows in the evening. The Hotel Ziva exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible. Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: In need of renovations

Stayed at the Wyndham Alltra for a week. This hotels location is great. Rooms are spacious we had room 2469 oceanview Beach 5/5 Food 2/5 Service 3/5 Pool 2/5 This hotel needs major renovations. Cleanliness is lacking, we saw a huge cockroach in the buffet restaurant.

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Absolutely wonderful!

Everyone and every thing was excellent. Food was plentiful and delicious. Room was clean, big and nice view off balcony. Where do I start with staff… A big thank you to Nancy, management and staff for always being friendly, happy and helpful. From the time you walk in your treated exceptionally.

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Great service, wonderful staff

Booked this resort and attended with my family. Service and staff is absolutely wonderful. The resort however is a former complex of luxury condos that were converted few years ago due to not enough units selling. Seems like because of that a lot of the services are trying to be fit in like Tetris. The entertainment is right outside the main rooms building (Sentry) and if you turn down a bit earlier then the noise will bother you. Even with the doors closed the rooms do not have a good sound bar [... read more]rier. You can hear everything sadly. In terms of food, the in room service is fairly quick. Restaurants are clean and decent. The buffet however is still being served by staff due to covid which is nice but a bit annoying as you have to wait to be served. There are two pools, fairly clean and large and the resort was not too busy. The beach however is very small and has a a lot of sea grass. I've stayed at other resorts in MBJ that have nicer beaches.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: AMAZING RESORT!

We went to this resort on the recomendation of our travel agent, Saskia. This was beyond anything we were expecting. The hotel was spotless, the rooms were incredible, the service was 10 stars and the food was exceptional. The people there were out of this world. Anything, everything you wanted 24/7 they were there for you tips or no tips. Tips of course were preferred, but either way they were there to make your stay a most memorable one, and that it was.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Awesome!

Great resort, great people, awesome service! Would of liked to have a better buffet on the Ziva side but the à la varte restaurants were great. Overall great country to visit and it's people are awesome! Had an awesome time! We'll be back soon! Thanks to the whole crew!

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Amazing resort!

I had the pleasure of speaking to O'Neil Graham who tremendously helped me out a lot to travel to Mexico by myself for the first time. Exceptional customer service at the resort. Nothing to complain about.Had a great experience. Lots of activies for kids. Five star treatment from picking up to drop off.Great nightly entertainment for kids and adults.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great Hotel

The hotel was just perfect. Wasn't too big, walks to get places were short and the staff was amazing. As usual for jamaica, the food was amazing. The only thing that can be inproved is more activities for the kids from the staff. For a family resort it was surprising to see nothing for the kids being done. Pool amd water slides were fantastic.
