We stayed for our Honeymoon and could not be more thrilled!!! The service was beyond phenomenal! Everyone that worked at the resort was constantly smiling and genuinely looked happy to assist. The food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back just to try all of the al a cartes. We heard beaches in Mexico could be disappointing, but not here, there was no need to rush down at 6am to reserve spots, the water was great and that beach was stunning. The pools were also great. Amazing Resort

Definetly the best resort where we have been. It is our 10th consecutive year in Mexico- we go twice per year- never back to the same resort. This would be the first one where we would go back again and again and again....The pools are a dream- nice, clean...huge...and warm; the beach is absolutely perfect. The restaurants-where can I start? They are all very good; our favour was the japoneze- we went there three times. Indonesian was our second choice, then French and Italian. The main buffet i [... read more]s also good. Imperial Martini @ Don Miquel is a MUST! I would go back tomorrow if I can. We would definitely return- no doubt!

Great all adult resort.

Nice to have alternate pools, quiet for those wanting to read and a bar pool for those who wanted a party atmosphere. Nice to have no reservation requirements for their specialty restaurants. Great 24 hour room service.

Everything is well done!

Everything at this resort is excellent--the spacious and clean rooms, the above average service, the large, beautiful, well-manicured gardens, the varied and delicious food. The beach is beautiful and the pool is beyond compare. No wristbands, no reservations needed for restaurants, 24 hour room service, rooms cleaned twice a day. Absolutely nothing to complain about at this resort.

Great Experience

Service was unbeatable and the food and drinks were amazing! Loved the Piano Bar and their martinis - The Imperial was delish. Resort was beautiful and very clean. Lots of great activities at the pool. Had a great time!

The best resoet

We have just returned from a 7 days trip to VIM resort. Both of us, my daughter and own joyed the resort immensely. Everything was great from the beginning to the end: check-in, food, grounds, service, beach. We will return!!!!

Beautiful resort

Dining was more than excellent, grounds lovely, great beach for swimming and walking along. Staff pleasant with always a "Hola". Entertainment was good and live music was nice to listen to and dance to. A bonus was the variety of birds.

Awesome / Amazing Resort

Staff, workers - all go out of their way to help / please everyone - Never expecting tips and very grateful to receive one (you are pleased and happy to tip) - super clean everywhere - Food is great - you do not have to wear wrist bands (Great) - you do not have to search for chairs (Awesome) Options of different pool - Looking forward to going back - Great, great place!

Valentin Imperial Maya

This hotel is nothing short of amazing. The grounds are immaculate at all times, the food is nothing short of fabulous. The staff goes over and above for every guest, making sure that everyone has a positive and enjoyable experience. There are so many activities during the day and in the evening that we found it difficult to experience everything offered by the hotel. Our room was beautiful and kept very clean at all times. Housekeeping was prompt and our room was cleaned and replenished most da [... read more]ys before we were even finished breakfast. Staff in the restaurants and bars are very approachable and offer suggestions for new things to try. We spent a lot of time just visiting with the staff there as they were the friendliest people we have ever encountered during our stay and had lots of advice for not only the resort but things to see and do in the area as well. The resort is huge and offers endless choices, a relaxed yet exciting environment and the perfect setting for romance. We will definitely be back. Most of the guests we encountered were on their 15th or more visit to the property.

Food was fantastic

Service was great, the whole experience was better than expected. Mainly the food was a real experience. No reservation needed and with a great selection of dishes .I would recommend the resort to anyone.

What a vacation!

As soon as we got there, the shuttle was there to pick us up & greeted us with a cold one as a welcome to Mexico! 20 minutes later, we were at the resort. The food was delicious, from the buffet for breakfast and lunch to the a la carte every night! The beach is right there, clean and we had no problem getting a chair everyday. The only thing I would suggest is not to leave anything thing on your terrace cause we were on the ground floor and we had a pair of running shoes that went missing. Incredible!

Now I know what to expect at a five star resort. Absolutely wonderful in every aspect. When we arrived we were greeted with, "welcome to your new home" by every staff member we encountered. Little did we know then of the comfort and service we would experience on our vacation.

Breathtaking Resort

Upon arrival this resort is absolutely breathtaking. We could not comment enough how well maintained and expertly run this resort is from everything from the groundskeepers to the restaurant staff and management to housekeeping. Everyone we came across was always professional, pleasant and went above and beyond to acknowledge us whether it was a good morning or just a simple beautiful smile. We were very impressed with the rooms as well. Beyond our expectations and perfect for our celebration. W [... read more]e all had an impeccable vacation at this resort. Fantastic resort

The resort has amazing landscape and is just a very beautiful place. The food was fantastic. You did not want for anything. Lots to choose from and great quality. For dinner it was all sit down meals. If you were in a rush to catch a show that may not happen but really why rush. The only issue we had was with the washroom in your room. Glass doors and no privacy. Everything else was amazing and can't wait to go back. Close to airport so no long drive to resort. Wifi was very nice added bonus.

Great Place, Great Food & Service.

Grounds were fantastic. Everything was very well kept. The restaurants, service and food was fantastic. We travelled with a party of 8 and did have trouble with getting seating for dinners. So, accommodation of larger groups is something they should improve upon. Sand and beach were great. You were able to walk the beach for quite a distance. Downfall was red flags for the whole week we were there. We were upgraded for free to a beach room which was great. The rooms however could use minor upgra [... read more]des to upholstery - bench, bed and couch. Other than that great! Lastly, one thing I found strange for a nicer resort like this is there were no bar menus. For someone that doesn't drink much, I always like to look at drink menus to pick out different drinks to try. This resort didn't have them so you were on your own. Over all, I would recommend this resort.

Excellent Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed the Resort. Grounds, rooms, restaurants are kept very clean. A great dining experience, especially the French & Italian restaurants. The pool area was clean, with an abundance of lounge chairs. Most importantly, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Excellent Resort!

Beautiful and amazing resort

From the moment you arrive till you leave the customer service is exemplary. The lush grounds, beautiful water features and Spanish influenced design make the place a pure joy to walk through. And the food, the food was plentiful and delicious. Virtually every meal was perfect and the 24 hr room service was a great addition for when you didn't want to go out. I would heartily recommend the swimup golden junior sweet, you walk out your patio door and you have a waiter offering both food and drink [... read more] (a great addition to the room service when your lazy). Events and live entertainment every night, activities all day long and a beautiful beach to lay on (it didn't bother me but the girlfriend found the sand too deep and soft for her to walk in). A perfect vacation destination.

Ultimately fantastic

This is a top notch resort with excellent dining options, a variety of recreation choices and all kind of places to relax and unwind. the people were so friendly and accommodating, making our stay most pleasant. Thanks to Sheila, our Sunwing Rep, for excellent excursion suggestions.

Beautiful Resort

Loved the service, housekeeping was fantastic, restaurants were are wonderful. Can't say enough good things of all staff. The resort was always spotless, the grounds were kept beautifully, the beach was weed free and the water was crystal clear.
