Beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Beaches. There were ongoing activities and you could be as active or as lazy as you wanted to be. The staff was amazing and the cleanliness of the whole resort was terrific, even the beach washroom was very very clean. I hope we can go back, very, very soon.

Fabulous resort

We loved the size of the resort and it was easy to access all facilities of this hotel. There were plenty of beach chairs available. The entertainment staff and all the other staff services of this hotel was absolutely amazing. The restaurants offered plenty of food choices for everyone. We will certainly think about going back to this resort.

Nice family vacation

The food is good, the resort is nice, but the security was not the best and lighting at night is very poor. The staff was great, helpful and extremely friendly! The on sight entertainment is expensive. 30 $ per person for bananboat, 85$ per person to parasail and a 1 hour training to sailboat at 45$ and only one 1 hour ride per day. The star friends are extremely good at engaging everyone and the nightly entertainment is good. Fire show is the best!!! Must go to the Cigar bar and see Kimone, the [... read more] best and most patient bartender! Ask for her special shot....worth the visit even if you don`t smoke!!! She was our groups favourite staff member by far! I have stayed at 3 star resorts to 5 star resorts and expected more from an Iberostar. The facilities did not live up to their reputation. Had electrical issues in all 3 rooms our group had to charge our electronics and had a lot of locals on beach trying to sell you stuff all the time.

Disappointing Beach

Hotel needs to find a more efficient way of clearing seaweed from the beach. Seaweed is relentless and hotel staff spend all day cleaning it up, leaving garbage bags lining the beach front. Not something you want to be looking at while on the beach...doesn't make for good backdrop on your photos lol.

We will return!

What a wonderful spot! Yes as previous reviews have mentioned the rooms are not posh. There was rust on the lampshades in our room but that is because of the humidity ...... it is after all a tropical paradise. The bathroom in our room was not fancy but certainly adequate. One must remember not to expect a room like you would find at Azul, Rose Hall Beach is a very affordable location. We were very happy with our room, the view was spectacular. It seemed there were always chairs available on the beach. The beach is delightful. Plenty of shade or sun. I foolishly hurt my knee 18 hours after arrival. I was so so so happy that everything is right at hand. The pool, beach, restaurants, all right there. Food.... AMAZING !!!! Japanese Restaurant should not be missed. I gained 9 pounds, I think that says it all.The entertainment staff really made our visit though, loads of energy around the pool, friendly and fun, dance classes, face painting etc. We thought the evening entertainment was fantastic! A special shout out to EBONY and NIKKI B. We will be back!!!!!! Honestly I read some pretty lousy reviews. Get your head on straight people, appreciate all the beauty and effort and amazing staff.

Wet but Stress Free!

Just back from a week at Rose Hall Beach. The resort was great. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Our room was simple but had everything you needed. We had a great view of the ocean and pool area. The only down side to the room was that you did not have any view while seated on your balcony due to the solid rail. The restaurants were good. You had to go early to get chairs. We went to the beach one day. Mainly because we had rain five of the 7 days :(. The beach isn't what I was expecting as it wasn't as broad and they worked on gathering the seaweed daily. The lobby bar was a hoot! Gregory, Andy and Kevin were the best! Overall I think the resort was great. Wish I could return when the sun is shining! I would recommend it!!

Breathtaking Family Christmas Vacation

Our christmas was amazing at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach resort in Jamaica. Our room was overlooking the pool and a great location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food amazing (especially the christmas eve gala!), BBQ lunch on the beach, etc. Would highly recommend!!!

Amazing Resort

This resort was absolutely fabulous. The beach was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the food was great, and the staff were wonderful! The friendliest, kindest people we have ever met at an All Inclusive. There was always lots of things to do if you wanted to participate in any activities. Or just sit back and watch the daily entertainment. The entertainment crew and waitresses, Angel, Apple, Danika, Diandra, Smiley and Dwight (to name a few) went out of their way every day to make our stay a mem [... read more]orable one. And that they did. The evening shows were very enjoyable and well done. The jerk chicken at the beach barbecue was unbelievable. I can't believe that people post negative reviews about this resort. You must be very hard to please! We'll definitely be going back.

Amazing resort

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was beyond excellent. Chocolate (entertainer) was so enthusiastic. Marlon went above and beyond the call of duty & the hotel dining area bar tender Gregory was amazing. He always had our drinks ready & waiting. All the service was done with class, style & a smile. My only complaint was not being informed of the daily hotel shuttle to the local clubs (Margarita Ville & Pier One). We found out by chance 4 days into our stay. Great Holiday

Had a great holiday. Staff was great inviting everyone to join in the activities without being pushy. Food was wonderful. Variety on desserts could have been better. Need to learn what apple pie is (there idea and ours is very different. Evening entertainment was outstanding. The resort it self has a beautiful infinity pool and the ocean and beach is very clean. You can snorkel right at the resort seeing a large variety ocean life. They do a great job keeping the beach clean and free of seaweed. [... read more] The hotel is quite large and could use more signs directing people to the lobby/beach/restaurants and pool area as it is a bit confusing getting around. The Alacarte restaurants had good food but nothing special. Only the main course served to you. Salad and dessert was buffet style. Overall had a great time.

"A" for Effort

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful resort, wonderful staff (with a special mention for Nadeen, Sandrine and Kimone.) Service was exceptional except for one breakfast and lunch at the buffet (same server both times. She was abysmal in comparison to everyone else). The only disappointments were the food and mini bar. Food was plentiful but mediocre (for the most part, as some local style dishes were a pleasant surprise) and rarely hot. Desserts were horrible. No redeeming qualities there. Would have been nice to have another diet Coke at some point. Aside from those couple of issues, everything was great. Oh, one thing...Now this isn't a complaint, honest, its simply an observation...Its quite a loud resort. The common rooms are cavernous and everything echoes. With no carpeting (of course) there is nothing to absorb the sound. Husband didn't notice but I like to read. Hey, if I needed silence I could have stayed home. Again, just an observation. The grounds were gorgeous and the view was amazing. The Japanese restaurant is a must do. The show was a lot of fun and the food was very good...and HOT. Pools and swim up bar were perfect (lots of bees, though, but that's to be expected with all the sweet liqueurs). Bartenders were very entertaining and fun. Again, great staff! We never had a problem finding loungers by the pool, which was greatly appreciated. In summary, two thumbs up! Small issues but certainly not deal breakers and, hey, perfection doesn't exist. A wonderful vacation, dont hesitate to stay here! You'll love it.

Outstanding Resort

I found the Resort, the Staff, and the overall frienliness was a major part in making this an outstanding week at the Iberostar, I certainly will be going back, but possibly for longer, maybe 10 days or 2 weeks, it was just fantastic

VERY GOOD RESORT

IT IS A GOOD RESPORT, FOOD IS GREAT, SERVICE IS GREAT (slow at a la cartes) VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE, BEACH IS AWFUL, LOTS OF ROCKS, DECOR IS UP TO DATE, BUT NOT MUCH TO DO AT NIGHT, WE ARE SMOKERS, SO THE SITTING AREA OUSTISDE IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED FOR 13 PEOPLE. NOT MUCH ENTERTAINMENT AT NIGHT ( no steel band, live band, dancing etc..) BUT IF THE PRICE REMAINS AROUND $900.00 WE WOULD ALL GO BACK. NEEDS ACTION AT NIGHT.

Amazing!

I like the food, the pool et the beach. But next time, I will chose iberostars rose hall suite, because they are waterpark for children. Everything is great, but the airport and the custom are terrible.

More amazing the second time!

The staff made us feel very special. It was our second visit and they offered us an oceanfront room. We liked the ocean view room so we went with that. They gave us a bottle of rum and tee shirts for being a repeat visitor. Also on my birthday they sent me a cake to my room. The food was excellent in all the restaurants and buffet. The staff really make you feel at home. The beach and pool are breath taking. We can't wait to return to the Iberostar Rose Hall beach resort.

Very Good

My girlfriend and I had an excellent experience in every aspect except for the weather. Food, entertainment, and staff were all very good. The shower had very little water pressure when we first got there but one call to front desk and it was fixed by the time we got back from the beach. Would definitely go back just not during hurricane season, it rained everyday we were there :(

A week on paradise island

The hotel and grounds we beautiful and lovingly maintained. Food amazing and broad selection. Evening entertainment had variety and many talented performers. Staff were friendly and helpful, daily activities were fun, with no pressure to participate. Lots of areas inside and out to enjoy relaxation time with family. The perfect vacation my family needed to recharge!

Had a great time!

I've been to a few resorts and this one is comparable to most resorts. The food was excellent, I never had an issue finding something yummy to eat. The beds were super comfortable compared to some resorts that are rock hard. The entertainment team in my opinion is what made this resort. They were SO friendly and fun. Cupcake, Smiley and Angel made our trip a blast! They are such wonderful people and we miss them already. The ocean was warmer then the pool. Out of the three Iberostars we had the  [... read more]nicest beach, however the thing I think could improve with this resort is the cleaning of the beach. It was not raked daily and there was sea weed on the shore in the sand. This was a small resort which depending on what you like could be a good or bad thing. It's easy to find people if your in a larger group. If your heading to this resort no worries you will have a good time! :)

Would definitely go back!

This was our first time in Jamaica and chose the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Hotel since it was only 20 minutes from the airport. The hotel was beautiful and kept very clean. The beach was sandy and no rocks at all. Further down at the Iberostar Suite and Grand the beach and water is very rocky. The food was great and lots of selection. Only went to 2 of the nightly shows in the theatre but both were excellent.

Amazing resort

The service,the staff,the food,the room,the place was superb!the beach was relaxing and ocean for swimming beautiful and calm,beautiful land scraping and property, intertaiment was exciting especially on the beach.
