The service is great. The grounds are spotless and well maintained. The staff are always happy , friendly and go out of their.way to help you. Our third time here and we will be back! Highly recommended.

Good Quality for the Price

There is alot of walking at this resort. There were shuttles but they were hard find. The buffet was pretty good food and a good selection. The resort was clean. The staff was fabulous. There were alot of people there but it didn't feel crowded and we could always find a chaise at the beach or pool. Our only complaints were that we couldn't get into any a la carte restaurants until 9pm and that was a little late. Also, the bed was not so comfortable. We otherwise had a good time there.

Great beach for snorkelling!

The beach was exactly what we were looking for -- swimming off the beach looking for colourful fish, turtles, stingrays and more. The room was spacious, always very clean with a stocked fridge. We were happy that the service was Eco conscious with the washing of linens and towels. Staff everywhere were superb. Wonderful hard working people who went out of their way to arrange, serve, drive, problem solve, and more. Too many wonderful people to mention here. The service was wonderful

the hotel was very clean...rooms were stocked ....food was esquisit....bus ride was comfortable...pools were very clean//staff went out of there way to make your stay comfortable...the entertainment was of this world ..

Grand serenis riviera maya

This was my 3rd time at the Grand Serenis. I always liked it. The place is impressive with plenty to keep you occupied or to veg on the beach or by the pools. The only negative I have is the beach sand is not as fine and clean as I have seen elsewhere.

Good but not great

I stayed in building 14. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The food was pretty good, but the a-la cartes were always full. We could only get into the a-la-carte's at 9pm. The pool area was quite nice and the beaches were well maintained, but the pools were not heated. The worst part of this resort was the layout of the room. It is really weird. The bathroom is not separated from the rest of the room. If you are in the bathtub you can be seen in the entire room. It is really strange. The [... read more] resort is also quite far away from the airport (1.5 hours).

Very Clean and well spaced out.

Property very clean and well staffed. Excellent time. Travelled with my wife, son and father. We all agreed that the property and excursions offered made our week incredible. The nightly shows could use a bit of tuning up, but were a nice way to end the day. Would recommend resort without hesitation.

Great Resort, But..

As a Canadian the resort was very nice and the grounds were beautiful. The only thing that I was not impressed that this resort does not serve coffee until 8:00 in the morning and I'm an early riser. I did not want to wake my wife by using the coffee machine in the room, so I would like to grab a coffee and go down to the ocean and watch the sun rise. This is the only disappointing part of my trip.

Back again, it's showing some age but still great!

Food was great, French restaurant was the best, some tiles missing in the pool, great new eco walking trail, great views. Rooms need new couch. VIP or Friends of Sirenis should bring back the French as a perks, otherwise not sure you get anything anymore. Beach sand has shifted so water shoes are essential for the first few feet getting into the water.

Good but below average beach!

The resort was ok but the beach was very disappointing. The sand is rough and the water is not inviting. We spent our entire time by the pool. The food was what you would expect for an all inclusive. The visitors consisted mostly of families and wedding parties. If you are looking to party or at least mingle with younger people I don't recommend this resort.

A nice resort for a quiet week

This is a fairly large resort. The grounds are nice, and the staff friendly and smiling. We had a small issue at check in, it was dealt with within minutes. No hassles! Ended getting an upgrade to the oceanfront section, which was amazing. Nice spa, too.

Fun And Relaxing!

This is a big resort with big rooms it has cleaners on go non stop. Great Service and friendly workers. There is always something going on for entertainment I would do this trip again and recommend it to others!

Overall good resort

What was good: - beach and sea - corals, lots of fish and other sea creatures, great snorkeling - pools - clean, pool bars, bufet restaurants nearby main pools - food - variety and quality (seafood, meats, sweets, vegetabls, not too many different fruits though) - location - close to Tulum, many cenotes and some parks, you can easily take collectivo, bus or taxi to nearby places Not so good: - people are allowed to smoke virtually everywhere (and many do), even in places that supposedly smoke f [... read more]ree, but no enforcement, so nobody cared - service could be better: personnel (e,g, weiters) expect tips everytime they serve you; if you do not tip, they can ignore you next time even if you ask them for something (but I heard the situation is much worse in many other resorts, so it is probably typical for Mexico) - rooms were spacious and clean, but there was a prooblem with air conditioner: hard to adjust, sometimes too cool, sometimes too warm, never maintaied the needed temperature - animation and shows weren't that much intertaining

I very much enjoyed my stay. It was my first time in Mexico and I will definitely be back. I found the staff friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the bathrooms were always clean and fresh smelling.

Awesome Resort

The resort was very well maintained and clean. Food was great and plentiful. Hotel staff very pleasant people and helpful with everything we needed. There were plenty of activities to do there daily and entertainment everyday day and night. Weather was awesome, I will go again for sure. Thank you trip central for suggesting this resort.

Beautiful resort

This was my first visit to a resort and all inclusive package, we will be heading back to this resort in the New Year .Very well kept, lovely grounds .The staff are very friendly and always smiling, language a very small issue, they try very hard.

Good Value

Bar service and entertainment crew are amazing, especially our pool bartender Franklin and entertainment crew member Omar. Rooms were excellent. Buffet was good but not extraordinary...its a buffet right. We found the a la carte's to be bland and not worth the effort in booking a reservation(which had to be at least two days in advance). We knew there was going to be kids there but not that many, not enough to ruin the trip, but be aware that there are kids around. The nightly entertainment was  [... read more]better than any resort I've been on. The spa was excellent, definitely worth it. Swimming with the dolphins right on the resort, it had a classy set up. Room service food wasn't very good but that's to be expected. Make sure to check out the beach bbq lucnh everyday, we didnt find out about it until half way through our trip. Overall it was a good trip, worth every penny and had absolutely no regrets in our resort decision

Amazing vacations

Sep. 12 -19, 2015. Third time to the same hotel in 2 years. Best value for the money. Specially thanks to Kristina and Rodolfo that made my kids vacation so special. The food is very good. Japanese restaurant is the best. Everything is clean. The ocean this time was full of seaweed though. Feeding the fishes in the ocean something not to be missed for the kids. Thank you. Keep doing the great job.

Peaceful white resort

Resort- big, clean, lots of space, not crowded. Tonnes of room to enjoy. Beach- rough, lots of stones, bring water shoes. Seaweed issue a concern. Sun- super hot- bring good sunscreen, easy to burn oneself. Service- great, lots to do, great ent team, lots of great drinks. Mexican are warm and helpful. Always in a good mood. Recommend resort. Amazing Resort

Everything about this resort was awesome. The food was so good- a really good layout/ multiple selections to choose from. All the food was fresh and delicious. They changed the buffet trays so often to ensure the quality of the food. The shows / entertainment at this resort is very impressive. They have FULL musical ensembles with a full-scale stage and a great sound sysyem. Very entertaining and a great experience every night. The resort is kept so clean- always being cleaned and wiped.
