Club Amigo Mayanabo: Outstanding Time!!!

This hotel was great for the price paid, hotel grounds were always clean, rooms were good even though I had to change rooms once due to key issues, no biggie...staff were friendly and always prompt to serve you...overall a great experience...

Brisas Santa Lucia: Great time all around

We had a great time. Food was good, beach was good, staff was good. Weather could have been better but that is uncontrollable. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Grounds were well maintained also. Overall, had a great time.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Good Holiday

Second time at this resort. Beach is beautiful and pool is great. Food is very good for Cuba. Staff is excellent. The evening entertainment has a lot to be desired...corny and juvenille, and very repetitive. Communication about events on resort, and excursions is VERY poor. Other than that, had a great time.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Good value for your money

I would say that this hotel was a two star the beach was not fantastic but you can rent scooters or horse and buggy for 10 cuc's and go down to cocoa beach which is 15 minutes away and they have a fantastic beach the food was mediocre but you would never be hungry. The staff was very friendly and helpful The drinks were pretty decent they had anything you basically wanted beer was limited to Crystal or the other brand I can't remember it was with the brown label but it was the Cuban brand. Club Amigo Mayanabo: Very simple resort

This resort is very outdated but rooms are clean. Food is below par even for Cuban standards. If looking for a cheap vacation this is the right place. Entertainment staff were more interested in entertaining themselves instead of the guests.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Best time in cuba ever.

I have been to three resorts in cuba this was by far the best, food was excellant resort was sparkling clean staff were wonderful and on several occasions went well beyond expectation,we have now planned to go back to this resort yearly.

Gran Club Santa Lucia: Awesome Resort

Gran Club is the only resort I will return to, year after year. It is so welcoming and quiet, with all the amenities you could ask for. Although it does need some updating, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Not a large resort, this keeps the noise down, and no line-ups for the buffet. The food is typical of what you can get at other Cuban resorts. The only downside would be the long 90 minute bus ride from the airport over bumpy Cuban roads.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Great time

We were 4 grandmothers who went last minute for a great deal. We were originally put in block 26 which is really far back but we got moved to block 8 the next day. It was much closer to everything but if you don't want to hear the show not for you. The rooms were basic but clean, the grounds were kept spotless. rooms were old and outdated but maids cleaned them every day lots of towels soap shampoo and toilet paper.nice tv.Staff exellant.Food above average.allways found something i liked.grounds very niceFerrel cats hanging around snack grill not a good thing should be removed very skinny shure they have worms. i like cats but they should be removed.beach nice a bit rocky were water shoes.For the money we payed 514 tax in this was a bargain.ps great for seniors to swim in ocean reaf stops big surf.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Disappointing Vacation

This was a mediocre resort at best. I have not had a vacation for many years and was looking forward to getting away. Most staff were friendly and helpful, but I found the front desk staff were very rude. The food at the buffet was best during breakfast, but no very good at all for lunch or dinner. Not impressed one evening by three entertainment staff posing just inside the buffet restaurant and encouraging guests to stick money on their oiled-up body. Beach area was nice, but there was quite a bit of seaweed. Entertainment provided in the evenings was okay. However, there were several prejudiced skits and comments made. Overall, it was a disappointing vacation.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Great resort, amazing staff

Rooms where well taken care of and in good condition. Overall the resort was very clean and in good order. The staff is incredible and go well beyond the call of duty to give vacationers a great time! The resort is beautiful in the Cuban sun and even more gorgeous during the sunset! Already looking at booking another trip as soon as I can!

This definitely is not a 4* maybe a 3* Food just okay as it had lots of vegs and fruit What the fish as it had lots of bones Staff not friendly and looked "grumpy" only 1 pool It appears like a big resort and should have more than 1 pool not much to do in the area that was fun. But the lobster dinner was great and so was the service at the "buccaneer" restaurant safe for a family Room was okay for Cuba but the whole area needs a face lift won't be back

Brisas Santa Lucia: Good first resort

This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort. We were here on our honeymoon during the last week of January 2016. The grounds and beach were beautiful; Staff was out every day raking up the seaweed on the beach and maintaining the gardens. Plenty of chairs and spots available at both oceanside and poolside. Food was decent (buffet) and Cuban à la carte restaurant was fantastic! Staff friendly and helpful. Entertainment poolside was fun but nightly entertainment was kind of boring. Our onl [... read more]y real complaint though is that our room didn't have hot water (ice cold!) and the air conditioner was stuck on high without any way to turn it off. We froze our first night so we asked to switch rooms the next morning. They accommodated easily and without hassle. Our new room still didn't have any hot water at all the entire time (it was cool but not icy) but at least we could control the air in this one. We were in a country where a lot of its population doesn't even have running water, and we knew that going in, so we weren't about to complain again about ours not being hot. The air in the first room was our biggest concern. Other than that, it was a lovely experience with great sun and heat, fabulous mojitos, and friendly people. One more small note though: our tour operator told us they would provide breakfast to us before we left since our bus was leaving for the airport at 5:30am and all restaurants were closed at that time. They did not feed us, and our flight was then delayed 3 hours. the airport only had $8 pringles or pre-packaged ham sandwiches. Be warned. Bring snacks on your way back!

From Managers to the maids to the animation team as well as Yurina, the wonderful PR lady, made us feel special. Junior suite clean/comfortable. Beach/algae. Food: tasty/repetitive. Excellent quality/price.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Beautiful employees!

Very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed the buffet food, speciality a la carte nights, excursion to Coco beach and entertainment was awesome! The pool was super clean and the beach was well maintained. The employees were exemplary!

Brisas Santa Lucia was a great time. The only thing that was not helpful was the people waiting to leave and the hotel didn't feed us knowing that there's no meal on certain flights . other than that the trip was wonderful!!!!

Gran Club Santa Lucia: Good vacation - Gran Club

I thought the Gran Club Santa Lucia was fine. Lovely grounds and pool. Service was very good and I liked the friendly staff. Our a la carte meal at the Italian restaurant was especially flavourful. My companion and I enjoyed our resort visit but had to get used to being surrounded by evening Cuban music coming from establishments near our resort.

Gran Club Santa Lucia: Real Cuban Experience

This resort exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect size with no lineups and lounge chairs were always available. The food was very good for a 3 star resort and the grounds were well kept and beautiful. Staff were excellent. I recommend the junior suite as it is much more spacious and closer to the beach than the standard room. Improvements were being made continually and this resort will only get better. It is great value for money and I hope to return.

road in both directions was OK. food ok (lines for everything); room so-so (insects, no hot water, remote doesn't work] beach ok (water was cold, I think that was an exception) weather Jan 22-25 2016 was horrible very crowded place

Value for what i paid for. Friendly staff and great entertainment. The food needs more variety though. The beach was great, far less seaweed than in the past years I've been . I would definitely return for vacations
