Henry Morgan Resort: Great little resort

Perfect size. Food was good, not great, but lots of restaurants along the beach for variety. Friendly staff. Great snorkelling off the beach and through the associated dive shop. Will consider coming back

Different than your typical all-inclusive! Right in all of the action, with a beautiful beach. A little rustic so don't expect anything fancy! Amazing snorkeling right off the beach with lots of restaurants and activities nearby!

Media Luna Resort: First Impressions were not great but .......

Oue First impressions were not great, the resort is a little tired but really grows on you after a day or two The joke was it is the first "almost all-inclusive" we have been too. Totally a place to go if you just want to relax, sleep and read books in a very beautiful tropical setting :).. Just don't have your expectations too high and you will have a wonderful time. The house wine at the resort is really really bad!! but there is a lo [... read more]vely coffee/wine bar across from the front desk that you can purchase ok Italian wines from $10 & up a bottle. As well the coffee in this shop is way way better then the buffet and is $1.00 a cup so would suggest that your first stop in the morning. The beach is not very big but you can snorkel right from shore which is very nice(bring but spray as the sand fleas are very hungry) , not sure if this would be a good place to bring young children as there isn't very much to do at all for them. Two smaller type pools but that is about it. Only one choice of beer (not local beer either) most of the time but it was always nice a cold. the rest you have to pay $3.00 extra for. The rooms are tired and for the most part clean and some sewage smell that required you to keep your bathroom door shut at all times but we had Ocean front with a lovely patio and hammock so the view and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks made up for the room:) The cobble stone walk ways throughout the resorts although very pretty might be a challenge if you have mobility issues and for sure ladies leave your heals at home!! This is not a dressy place at all totally casual so no dressing up for dinner required (which is a buffet every night from 6:30-8:30) Over all it was a lovely relaxing time which was just what we were looking for.

Mayan Princess Beach Resort: Excellent Service at Mayan Princess

We had a great time at the Mayan for two weeks in March. The room location was just steps to the pool and to the beach . The room was just what we needed and exceeded our expectations. Only complaint was there was low water pressure in shower and hot water would come and go. The service in the restaurants and bars was excellent. Never had to wait long for a drink at all. The Mayan is a great small resort that knows customer service.

Mayan Princess Beach Resort: Wonderful Staff

Upon arrival our room was nice and clean. Our maid made some cute décor when she changed our bedding. The ocean was amazing when it was calm and it was a beautiful clear blue. The best part of the hotel was the staff. They were all so polite and eager to help you in any way possible. I must not forget the beach guy would move your lounger to anywhere you wanted and would provide you with a personal umbrella. The hotel had all the necessities you would want. Mayan Princess Beach Resort: Great resort for divers

Great resort if you are a diver or like to snorkel, not so much so if you are not. It's a three star at best. The staff however were great, could not do enough for you. The whole island reminds me of Mexico thirty years ago. Poor roads, can't drink the tap water, hydro cuts out, terrible internet, lots of beach vendors. We were there for two weeks mid February. Booked an  [... read more]oceanfront, was actually tree view, oceanfront, so don't bother. Nice beach though, with great snorkeling right out front. It does get invaded with cruise ship people mid week, gets a bit insane. Lots of flies and sand flees, so bring bug spray! Also, bring lots of US cash, they all want to get paid in US currency but you can't get any from the ATM machines. You can only get Limpira when they work. The island is under developed and has a long way to go to satisfy the discerning traveler.

Media Luna Resort: Peace and serenity

Family of 4 with a 17 and 11 year old. We traveled with another family of 3. They were accommodating and the staff went out of there way to make us feel looked after. The resort was extremely relaxing, it was a great place to go and unwind. The snorkelling and diving was 1st class and the dive center employees were great. The food was good and there was a wide variety. The chicken was always good. We will be returning to this resort in the future.

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: superior service resort

This beach front property is not your average resort. You will be staying in a large (1 or 2 bedroom), very clean, well maintained condo with a fully equipped kitchen. The pool, beach and restaurant are clean, and modern. The management and staff are this resorts biggest asset. Anything you want you are encouraged to ask, we didn’t need to. Arrange a tour from the onsite agents, as they actually got us better prices for our adventures off site. Even at full capacity it did not feel crowded. The mix of owners & renters was a pleasant one, made it fell like home. No doubt we will return.

Henry Morgan Resort: Wonderful resort, staff and island!

The hotel was great! It had a nice pool area, great beach, the rooms were nice and the hammocks on the porch in the back were a favorite spot for us to go relax and enjoy a book or the sounds of jungle! The dining room was nice with a good selection of food (the chocolate croissants were amazing) and plenty of variety for beverages. The entertainment staff was also phenemonal! Media Luna Resort: Cheap

The resort itself is good beach area small good snorkelling off beach. The staff are great. There is one bar that you have to go to 46 stairs up from the beach or walk to from anywhere else. This is not a resort for anyone with walking difficulties. When you arrive you get 2 water bottles in the fridge it is up to you to refill them for your stay. Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: A 2 week stay. One good the other not.

The hotel itself is very good. Very clean and neat. The room was great with good maid service. The pool and beach are immaculate. We found the food to be excellent, lots of choices and fresh too. Downside, 2nd week of day and night rain.

beautiful grounds, pool and beach...everything close.....only thing missing was a hot tub....staff very friendly......diving was very very good on both sides of the island....shark dive is a must if you have never experienced it...

Media Luna Resort: Good resort

Positives: Great reef at property. Quiet place. Great rooms. Lots of loungers and places to enjoy breezy sun. Negatives: They cheap out on food and have only basic alcohol choices. Taxis to other places are expensive.

Parrot Tree Beach Resort: Amazing Resort!

Everything about this place was perfect - the food, people, resort, beach, rooms, and locals. Everything is conveniently located, and there are so many affordable activities to do such as snorkling, zip lining, boat trips- you name it! We will definitely come back - we are already planning to do so! :) If you are looking for a quiet little paradise with not many people, then this is the perfect place for you.

Media Luna Resort: Awesome Staff!

Wonderful atmosphere, clean spacious cabanas, good food, engaging staff, super swimming and snorkeling on site. Safe and secure premises and surrounding areas. Cabanas gave the stay a feeling of having personal cottage that allowed for visiting with fellow vacationers on your own private deck. Very relaxing home away from home.

Super resort.Not too big. Great location. Snorkellers and divers NIRVANA. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff.Rooms are clean and comfortable. The nightlife is there for the partiers,but if you just want to relax you can do that too.Dive shop staff are awesome.

Media Luna Resort: Thrilled with our trip to Media Luna

Really liked Media Luna's separate Cabanas! Our ocean-view unit was worth the extra in added privacy and sunrise view. The food was certainly adequate for a small resort on its own like this. Though the beach area was small the snorkelling was amazing all around the resort and as good as I've seen in over a dozen trips south. Above all what we enjoyed was how welcome the staff made us feel and the outstanding level of service. Media Luna Resort: Beautiful cabanas!!

The resort is laid out amazing. The cabanas are spacious and clean. The water is clear. The snorkeling is amazing. The staff was very friendly. Kenny the bartender was amazing. Food was good not alot of variety

Infinity Bay Spa and Beach Resort: Most pleasant staff

A great place to spend a week learning to dive and enjoying the sun. Learned to dive with Infinity Divers and enjoyed the sun and amenities at the Infinity Bay. Food was excellent and quited varied, the all inclusive beach bar busy but accommodating. A little weak on entertainment but after a couple dives we ready to turn in pretty early.

The hotel was amazing, you can tell that the staff really care about the guests. we were greeted by the general manager upon arriving, he even came to the airport to say thanks and say bye to everyone. The food was great! Especially the BBQ night, was our favorite. We spent a lot of time with the dive shop, that was the highlight of our trip, the staff are friendly, and go above and beyond!
