Quiet and luxurious

If you need a quiet getaway, this is the place.The surroundings are beautiful, rooms comfortable and well kept, very good food. I did not quite understand the concept of having a butler, so could not take advantage of this service. We did not appreciate the fact that we did not get to pick the hour at which we ate dinner, often way too early, and then being rushed through our meal. We found the menu selection very slim, and would have appreciated just going to the buffet certain evenings. Beautiful Resort, Like a rose (Get it?)

Awesome adults only resort! First off, the resort is beautiful and the beach is one of the best I have seen and I have been around. Aqua blue water, white power sand, the most friendly Cuban people you could ever meet! Lots and lots of straw umbrellas! You don't need to go out early and save them with a towel. But not at a snap of the fingers. Everything in Cuba is slow like you would expect. It might take them 1 or 2 hours to get back to you. Sometime through the week they setup the bathtub with rose petals for the ladies. Nice touch but not much of a big deal really. Room: Nice but we had three days with no room cleaning service. Had to call for towels, toilet paper, etc. Complained nicely but nothing happened until we made a stick about it. Then two girls showed up asap and sorted it out. After that smooth sailing. They tried to male it up with a bottle of champagne and flowers. Ok but to little too late. Food: I thought it sucked but that's par for the course in Cuba. There were some bright spots in the the a la carte restaurant. I thought it was a little better than the food in the Dominican. The guys on the beach, run to get your drinks. Anything you want. The drinks in the main bar (Air Cond'd) are the best tasting. The make coffee, capachino, latte, etc all great. Cuba beers and good and the mixed drinks are great. The pool and beach bar are not as good. But the bartenders are really nice and will do anything for you. Rinse out your Bubba, thermos cup, etc. and not expect a tip. We tipped are the end of the week. All in all, for +5 star I expected better food and no hickups but that travelling.

Resort

Beautiful resort. Friendly people . Very good food. Drinks were good. Only complaint is check in process resort can do a lot better. Too long too unorganized. Not comfortable with them taking our passports off with a number of other passports for 20-30 min.

Must go to resort!

Beautiful, well maintained resort, with an exclusive feel to it. We stayed for a week and loved it. The only negative parts were the bugs and how they brought our group in. We arrived at midnight and they kept us out talking to the butler for 15 mins and no one had big spray, I got at least 15 bites. Look for Ronaldo bartender makes the best pink colodas from scratch, no machine.

Looking for a place to truly relax!!!!

This small & cosy resort is just beautiful. The food was extraordinaire though only a la carte. We had a room on the second floor with the view of the ocean an a balcony, what more can you asked for. Very clean and well maintained. They have a butler system that took us some getting use to but we enjoyed the courteous staff very much. Definitely will return!

Outstanding resort!

If there is a perfect place to go in the Caribbean this resort is it! The rooms are beautiful and the service/staff could not be better, and very friendly. The 2 pools are so refreshing and you never have trouble finding a place to relax and enjoy!

Wonderful

Excellent place, wonderful staff. Beautiful rooms. Nice entertainment, incredible beaches, white sand and blue, blue water. The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. We would go back there in a heart beat. Loved this place. Treated like a Royal.
