The Grand Palladium was pretty much everything we could ask for. Beautiful beaches, beautiful people and beautiful facilities. Very good food especially the a la cartes. Many excursions were also offered.

TRS Turquesa: Do not recommend
The hotel is ok. No more. If you encounter problems, the guest service is the worst. They will give you the run around. The food is ok. The service at the restaurant hotel is poor. We will not return to that hotel.

Rooms were clean. Service was amazing. Pools and beaches were fantastic. Staff levels seemed low. Ala carte restaurants were very good. My only complaint was that the food at the buffet was always cold.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Resort is massive
Just returned after our 10 day vacation.
The resort is massive but beautiful.
1-check in is very slow, this could be improved.tired after long trip then having to wait an hr fir checkin.
2-if you have a mobility issue this might be a problem. Lots of walking.they do have a shuttle service but not always there when u need it.
3-benches. Why are there not more benches u dear the covered walkway.
It you have to walk beware no place to sit for a bit.
4- bench at every villa would be great while[... read more] waiting for a shuttle. Not everyone is in good physical health.
5-coffee bar up a flight of stairs. Too bad they didn’t have a little coffee place closer to pool or even in lobby,.
6-rooms are dated.could use a facelift.
Tiles cracked,bathroom outdated.
7-dessert on buffet same every day.
Nothing fancy.
8-evening entertainment is great.
9-get rid of the casino. Machines not working and they are frim 1970.
Not worth going in.
This area could be a nice cafe instead.
I expected more for the amount of money we spent.
Lot of variety at the buffet.waitstaff is great, friendly and happy. Food not hot.
All employees are just so friendly, helpful.
Beware!
Upon checkout we had a $255 U S charge to our room which was not ours.
We couldn’t get a pass to go on bus until they investigated. It was so stressful, waited 2 hrs for our pass.
So there scamers on resort, takes your name and room number. And charge to you. It’s too bad, left a bad impression.
When we needed something, housekeeping came very soon.
Lots and lots of walking..so think before you book here,

TRS Turquesa: Beautiful resort
I would recommend this adults only resort. The grounds are beautiful, numerous restaurants to choose from, 2 larger pools plus the pools off the swim-up rooms. The rooms are huge and we are provided with wrist band keys. So convenient. Of course, no resort is perfect. I do not recommend the sports bar to eat, only to watch a game. The buffets have a hard time keeping the food hot, or even warm. If you are looking for nightly entertainment, this isn't the place for you, unless you lik[... read more]e mellow sounds. Overall, I would return.

Grand Palladium Palace: So much to do!
When I first decided to go on an all-inclusive trip, I was expecting my week to consist of sitting by the pool/beach and reading. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was so much more to do, including games by the pool, exercise and dance classes, live shows, water sports, and a plethora of different places to eat. I was stuffed to the max after every meal, I was laughing, cheering, and crying at every show, I was learning to dance merengue and playing water volleyball. I was also never[... read more] short of someone to talk to as the resort employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I feel as though my family and I have made many new friends since our arrival to the resort. Also, if you are thinking of taking the Scuba Diving Course, I highly recommend you ask for Carlos to be your instructor.

TRS Turquesa: TRS AUG-SEP 2022
TRS is the place to stay if you want clean, beautiful rooms, grounds are very well kept and the food is amazing at the a la carts.
Staff really make your stay safe and fun.
The beach was a little disappointing all along the resorts but there was some good areas to get in to enjoy the ocean.
If you have food allergy's then this is the place to go, lots of assortment
Stunning resort with incredible pools, gorgeous beach with fine white sand and blue waters. Rooms are very roomy but a bit dated and the finishes are not perfect, but the service throughout the resort was excellent, very friendly and polite staff, always happy and helpful! Food was good, especially at the Italian restaurant (Poseiden) and seafood restaurant, but lobster and premium seafood were at additional costs. The other a la carte restaurants were average. Surprisingly, the buffet was excel[... read more]lent, perhaps better than the a la carte's. All in all, a fabulous place for a vacation, especially if you have children, lots of fun things to do. We stayed at the Lady Hamilton (the adjoining adult, sister hotel) and it was beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

TRS Yucatan: Perfect Honeymoon
What an amazing resort!! My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in June for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is so friendly and professional and make you feel like royalty. The service in the restaurants is impeccable and the food was some of the best we have ever had, even the buffets were amazing with good variety and amazing quality. Do not pass up on La Boheme, the service, mains, and deserts are so delicious.
The rooms are gorgeous and the staff does an amazing job to [... read more]keep them clean and tidy, sometime clean three times a day!! The mini fridge is restocked daily and if you need something the butler is a WhatsApp message away!! Quick room tip, if you want a private pool book villa 64 if possible, it seems to have the most privacy of all villas.
The infinity pool is beautiful... it gets a little busy during the afternoon but there is still plenty of space. The beach is a little far from the TRS area but do yourself a favor, have breakfast at Helios, then go for a seaside walk on the beach, you'll need the exercise if you enjoy the food as much as we did. The TRS beach area is amazing!! Near the beach bar, not overcrowded and plenty of Bali beds. This area is not directly seaside, but with the background music, drinks, and palm trees you won't notice. One note on the beach, it does get a lot of seaweed and the it is quite rocky in some areas, but they do a great job of cleaning the seaweed daily. The resort is huge but there are carts to take you anywhere on the resort or go for a walk through the covered jungle trails. The only thing that is lacking at the resort is nightlife, with the exception of the Chic Cabaret. There are a few evening events, however the crowd is quite calm so don't expect a big party vibe. The Chic cabaret is definitely worth the $35 usd as the show is absolutely amazing. The food at the show is good, especially if you enjoy seafood.
To sum it up, we would absolutely love to go back. If a quite, relaxing vacation is what you want look no further than TRS Yucatan.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Clean resort with great staff
Beautiful grounds with lots of greenery. It is a maze to get around which means more walking than I am use to. We managed and had a great time. Rooms were clean and very comfy. Checkin process is very long. Disappointed in coffee options as the real espresso machines are hidden in the back rooms.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: *Beautiful Resort!* *Detailed Review*
I will be giving our detailed review, it's a bit long but I believe it could be helpful! :)
We went 8 days in May 2022 and stayed at Grand Palladium
The Resort and our experience was overall pretty amazing.
The premises are new since resort was built in 2018 if I'm not mistaken and there is constant maintenance happening.
ROOM:
Our room was really nice, we got the junior suite with garden view , very spacious, nice closet, with hair drier, jacuzzi bath tub, shower, seating area, [... read more]couch, TV with movies and room service menu ,king bed, balcony with 2 chairs and a table to spend some time outside. we didn't care much for the view since we spent most time outside the room, if you pay a bit more you get a better view. Room had good AC, they refill your fridge everyday at no extra cost. The only complaint we had of the room is that they gave us an interconnected room , where you could hear EVERYTHING, and on the other side was a big family ( we also have kids we know and understand, BUT we wanted some quiet time ), at the front desk they were very understanding, helpful and gave us a different room at no cost and no hassle. Also be aware the floors in all rooms are tile, EXTREMELLY slippery so wear slippers at all times, especially coming out of shower.
POOL:
--The Main pool was great, spacious and always had shade for us, It has one bar inside the water and one outside, both were great as well with great service ,the staff around the pool were always asking if we needed anything. There is a small buffet by the pool with finger foods, which is very helpful since the 2 main buffets available at the resort are far from the pool.
BEACH:
--The Beach is Beautiful, only a TINY bit of seaweed, ocean was a bit aggressive because there had been a few storms the days before, we were told the ocean its pretty calm otherwise, but we still went into water and enjoyed it. A bit harder to get a chair with shade unless you go early in morning I'm guessing .its a pretty long beach, you can walk either way and get your steps in lol and it also had a little spot with some finger food or one of the main buffets is by the pool so no problem there.
MOVING AROUND RESORT :
The resort its PRETTY big! they have golf carts with drivers running around all day all over the resort, starting at 7 am to drive people around. You just hop in, ask where you want to go and they take you anywhere, but there were none running late at night after 11PM I would say. I like walking and after a few days figured our way around the resort.
FOOD :
--They have 2 main buffets. both have different schedules: one by the beach with less selection of food and less seating space ( but useful if you spend the day at the beach), and the other buffet is by the Lobby ( so both are in opposite places of resort ) , LOTS of food selection in my opinion and more seating space then in the one by beach, never had to wait to get my food or to be seated .Both have chefs cooking the food as you ask it so pretty fresh and also food that is already cooked. There is another small buffet by the pool, with burgers, hotdogs and finger foods.
--There is many a la carte restaurants, only went to the Italian and Japanese and both were great ,and heard all the other ones were good as well.
( just recommend to do the reservations as soon as you get your room number especially for the Japanese Teppanyaki tables as they book REALLY fast )
--And there is a "sports bar" that is open 24/7 for the late food cravings in the "village mall" with a nice vibe , with foosball tables and pool tables.
ADULTS ONLY/FAMILY SELECTION
--Inside of the same resort they have TRS section, its adults only with their own pool and special services, and then family selection with their own pool as well and different accommodations for families, if you book your room at Grand Palladium you WILL NOT have access to all those specific areas, so something to consider.
'VILLAGE MALL"
--They have the "village mall" inside the resort , with a few shops and that's where all the a la cart restaurants are located, the theater is also there where all the night shows ( different theme every night with dancers) for kids and other shows happen, and also they have an "open sky" bar where a DJ comes after 10 PM if you want to dance and enjoy until 1 AM.
SPA
-- We went to the spa to get a couples massages and use the hydrotherapy pools and it was a really good and relaxing experience as well! (we got a coupon otherwise its pretty expensive) we would totally recommend it!
TOURS
they offer many different tours, with different companies, so there are many options to choose from. We went to "Isla Mujeres" , had a blast but suffered from what we and the Doctor think of Heat Exhaustion after the trip on the boat, but still managed to enjoy the rest of my stay as much as possible!
NOW THE ONLY recommendations I would have for the Resort, would be :
- to provide an Optional Full TOUR of the resort once you arrive since most of the time you have to wait anyway for your room (which I've had in other resorts) where they could show you the premises, restaurants everything else to do, where to go eat etc, and also what NOT to do , what might be common sense to some common travelers it's not for people who don't travel often and want to take advantage of every second you have on vacation! It might be helpful to know to take breaks during the day from the heat and sun to avoid heat exhaustion ( actually I did get sick myself with heat exhaustion and spoke with other people at the resort suffering from the same) ,saw some pretty bad sunburns and quit a few poor little kids sick and upset from all the sun exposure and tropical heat. They have a doctor on site but again if the resort provided a WELCOME tour with all the info necessary to enjoy the resort and avoid getting sick it could save travelers time and money!
-Also if the resort could allow early check in , even if it would have an extra fee, we had to waited 5 hours to get our room, 5 wasted hours without a welcome tour so didn't know what to do, where to go and also we were really tired since our flight journey started at 2 Am, so we asked and there was no option of early check in not even at an extra cost, something we would probably have paid and we saw a LOT of people hanging by the lobby for many hours since their flights were early as well and didn't know what to do, so early check in should be an option.
-- I also believe the Resort as of now is short staffed , so we were told by some nice workers from the resort, so some services by the pool and other places may be a bit slow but the service was amazing from our experience!
We would Totally recommend this resort to others and hope to go back to Mexico!

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: Jamaica was better
The grounds were beautiful as were the pools, beach and spa however the rooms were run down and not as clean as I would like. I know I'm kind of fussy but things like soap stained shower doors, stained chrome, grime around light switch plates, sticky door handles, all put me off. Run down examples would be the need for grout replacement around tiles, door security chain falling off wall. Also found the staff kind of unhappy and unorganized, maybe understaffed due to pandemic?
Anyway, was fine [... read more]but Jamaica was better!
