Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Resort was beautiful!

The resort was beautiful! Rooms are nice, clean. The grounds are very clean and very pretty. The staff are very friendly. The lazy rivers, pools and slides were great! The food was ok. Zen Tappenyaki and Rio were wonderful and the service there was great! Score Sport Bar however, the service was terrible and the food was also not great. We waited a long time before we were asked about drinks and then it took 25-35 minutes before we got our food, which was cold and terrible. We also wanted t [... read more]o mention that the coffee place was supposed to be open 24hrs, but was not. They were frequently out of the regular coffee. They should definitely have more than 1 "regular" coffee station or a 2nd station on the other side of the room. There was more than enough room for that. We also didn't realize that you had to pay for the "extras" like bowling, laser tag. We thought that it should be included for the price of the hotel. And same with the use of the tennis or other sport area. This was only available to you if you were a Diamond Club Member. Over all, we did enjoy our stay.

Royalton Grenada Resort and Spa: Royalton Grenada

We had an amazing experience at Royalton Grenada. We were in the diamond club area and were treated extremely well. Our butlers Quaver and Kebra took care of many of our needs such as dinning reservations but also assisted with off site excursions. The island is spectacular and staff and offsite contacts with residents were exceptional. We have never met such friendly people and welcoming staff in all our travels. No bar tender at the swim up although there is accommodation to have guests sit in the pool. Need to get out of pool for drinks. Nightly entertainment was lacklustre with the exception of the last night Reggie music. Lighting in the bathroom was insufficient. Storage space for clothes was inadequate.Dining was good for the most part but don’t order lobster. We had a great experience at the Royalton.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing Vacation

I'll try to keep things short. Staff was fantastic. You must meet Florencio and the gang at El Dorado for the a la carte breakfast or lunch. It's worth it just for his humour. Food was a solid 8-9/10. We were very impressed. We had everything from lamb chops to chicken, steak, burritos, salmon/guac toast, fresh fruit and sushi. All exceded expecations. The resort is getting a little old and renovations are underway. The beach is better than expected but perhaps not as good as some other tropical locations. The sea weed which exists all down the coast was cleaned up quicker than we have ever seen. Very impressive. Drinks were great, bartenders were fantasic. There are some "high end" spirits, like Grey Goose, MOM gin and some good tequila! Despite being located in Cancun, the party atmosphere that I enjoyed in my twenties was much farther away, leaving this fairly big resort to itself, which we liked. Lots of entertainment in the pools and at night. People have complained about small portion sizes which we found not to be true. To those people who appreciate bigger portions, remember that it's ALL INCLUSIVE and you can order more. This is a ridiculous thing to complain about so ignore anyone who brings that up. SMH. Our room at the Diamond Hideaway was lovely. Two shower heads, a bench inside the shower, very spacious. From our balcony we could see the ocean. You can actually see the ocean from so many places at the resort. Resort is quite close to the aiport. I'm sure that it was less than 30mins door to door which included a stop at The Moon Palace. We did not see a lot of wildlife, for good or for bad. The odd iguana here and there. We had a fantastic time from beginning to end. If you read reports that include complaints, I would suggest that 90% of the issues where with the guest and not the resort or its fantastic staff. Some people just can not be pleased. Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: You won’t be bored at this resort!

We stayed at this resort the first week of April 2025. We chose Royalton because we have stayed at the Royalton in Punta Cana twice and loved it. We would go back to that on anytime. This one was good but we wouldn’t return. There are a lot of great things such as lots of activities and entertainment. Lots of restaurants. Always something going on. We did find this resort very congested. It’s a big resort packed full of people. That doesn’t bother us so much but it seemed like everything (pools, [... read more] restaurants, hotel rooms, entertainment areas) are all crammed into one big area. There was no quieter parts or nice walking trails/walkways. Busy, crowded and congested. Lots of stuff for the kids to do but would have loved some quieter areas. Also, you have to wake up at the crack of dawn if you want to find any loungers by the pool (amongst rows and rows of loungers all crammed into every spare space). Enjoyed our trip but would not return to this spot.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: This resort was BOMB!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Royalton Negril! The food was out of this world so many choices in the buffet! We loved hunter steakhouse! The pool and vibes team was always on point! Download the Royalton app, everything was seamless! Use the app to book Al a carte, room service and to make any requests! Mini fridge stocked daily, rooms were always clean with fresh towels! The pool bartenders always had my cup filled and everyone was so pleasant and cheerful! we will be back Negril!

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Good ? time

Our 2nd visit here both for 2 weeks.nice resort but it caters to people under 40 yrs old.the swimming pools are very small.the restaurants and buffet are adequate not as good as in 2020. The lunch and breakfast buffet is great .the dinner buffet is adequate. Not a.large selection of seafood or meats in the dinner buffet. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great week!!

Food, service, live entertainment and accommodations were all amaizing! Was a great week. Only complaint is there were not enough lounge chairs and we could not watch NHL hockey games at the sports bar.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Amazing Staff & Food

This resort was not a true "Adult" resort as expected. Some restaurants were "family" restaurants. It was also very difficult to get dinner reservations without staff assistance which required us to have to go down to the lobby desk almost daily. We did love the staff and all of the food at the restaurants. It was a long (more than 3 hours), uncomfortable ride from the airport. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Nice quiet resort

The resort was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. Our first room was very tiny, but we were moved to a new room which was great, and spacious and had a wonderful view. Food in the restaurants we tried was amazing!

Honest and heart felt review I’m a HUGE Royalton fan and LOVE our stays with them. The Island is so worth visiting and there is so much beauty to explore. You must go into town!! It’s lacking in many ways compared to other places 1. The Property is well kept but still needs some TLC from the Hurricane and it being a preowned building. They are lacking in Pools in my opinion as they are only two for regular bookings- Third pool is DC and not very big. 2. The Beaches They have 4 Beach areas and they are very nice but you NEED water shoes to swim. The Coral is all along the Beach Shores in most the shore line and you will cut your feet if not careful. There is a Coral Reef all along the Royalton Sea area it’s great for snorkeling but also be careful when The waves get moving it will cut you up. The far Beach is almost pure sand and the best for walking in but has no Bar or Service below. This Far Beach is very private and Quiet. The Snorkling is amazing when the waves aren’t rolling like crazy Again Be careful the waves get big and the undertoe is powerful. The Beach Sunsets are amazing and the chairs are plentiful . We Loved the DC Beach Side as is close to the pool, Nibbles and Great Sun beds. It’s open to ALL GUESTS The food at Nibbles is the best - Great Jerk wings - Amazing Burgers ect ect In my opinion it can get boring here at times but it’s the vibe of the island also not just the Hotel. The people are laid back and chill and I’m okay with that at times but I’m a busy body so I need things We Loved the night life in other Countries and we still remember how amazing it was. The Shows are okay but nothing I will be left with a wow factor It was Fun but nothing like the other Royaltons we have visited. The rooms are clean and well kept Smaller than usual in many ways but we had an amzing view. We were in buliding 14 on the tthird floor with Ocean front view. We have had some Outstanding service at the Taj restaurant, The Coffee Shop and The Front desk Staff. The staff are a little too laid back at the bars and Buffett at times but I think under paid. PLEASE Tip your couple bucks it makes a HUGE difference in these peoples lives. The Food was Good but not amazing. We arrived Sunday and that night was very Blah at the Buffet and sometimes we waited for water far too long. A Smile from staff would have made you feel welcomed but some nights the Marche was missing that from the greeters. They sincerely look very unhappy and it shows on their faces. I barely saw them being tipped and they are turning over tables cleaning up after us still. Thursdays to Saturday it seems to me they have a Different Chef and Dining room Staff. Grenadian night was amazing and Delious food. Weekend Buffet was much better than Sun- Wed We LOVED TAJ it was amazing And the service was 5 star for us. Try as many apps as you can and book 48hrs before hand. We had Loved the French but it wasn’t really French food in my opinion but still tasty. The Italian was lovely and 3/4 star for us and we ordered a few mains to Explore the menu. “EAT THE ICE CREAM ? EVERY Flavour - WOW just amazing real ice cream with great flavours. Coconut and Rum Raisin are amazing. Bring Binoculars if you can to see the town and mountains. I would also Bring good shoes to walk the town. You can see so much in the mountains and even HOLD A MONA MONKEY Tip Black man he’s working hard for you to see them. That’s his nick name Although I called him The Monkey man lol Over all I would say you will have a great stay if your not comparing like I have from what I’m used to. You will be away in the sun and making memories. Soak up your blessings and just know this is a small island with some shortages . They are truly in many areas giving The 5 star they have to offer. Royalton Grenada Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

We recently stayed at the Royalton in Grenada. The resort itself was amazing . Beautiful views and clean and tidy rooms and grounds. The service was subpar for a Royalton and after numerous complaints no resolve.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very good overall, but a few minor issues....

The hotel and property are quite nice and well maintained. No concerns with cleanliness or safety. But I do have a couple of comments about things that could definitely be improved. 1. Beach chairs and pool side seating: it seems that the ratio of people to available seating is way too high. You end up with people "reserving" lounges with towels at 7 am, and then not showing up to use them until several hours later, despite signage stating that chairs can't be reserved. This should be policed b [... read more]y resort staff, and not left to individuals to work out. We were involved in one confrontation caused by this. 2. Restaurant reservations: we had a group of 10, and it was impossible to get a reservation unless you got on the app at 12:01 am. And then go the restaurant which is fully booked, only to find that it's half empty. I saw this several times. Other than those things, it was very nice.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Royalton Chic Cancun

This was a lovely resort. Food was good. Lots of fresh options. I liked the buffet better than the a la cart restaurants. Although they were pretty good. I've traveled many times to Mexico, 21 to be exact. This resort by far had the cleanest public washrooms I've ever experienced. Loved they had an abundance of beach towels, no towel card required and could take as many as you wanted. The life guard Kevin was by far the best , always watching. There is a good riptide at times. The staff was fr [... read more]iendly, polite and very accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great views from the balcony on the ocean side. Only thing about rooms I didn't like was the door on the water closet. It was glass. Some frosted some not so frosted. You could see the person on the toilet and hear everything. Huge lack of privacy. We were there for 14 days. The first week was Spring break and we could still get a good beach chair at 8:30am. The second week was middle aged + everyone was up by 6am saving beach chairs. Great little coffee shop with amazing cappuccino. Really enjoyed our stay.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Loved this resort!

We really enjoyed our stay, nothing bad to say about this resort the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Was Very clean lots of choices for food that was absolutely amazing! And the 24/7 room service was a bonus. I rated the beach a 4 only because of the seaweed but the resort works continually trying to remove it.

This resort is amazing. From the cleanliness of everything, to the yummy food, to the amazing staff. It has absolutely everything you could want. Best restaurant was the Mexican although they were all very good. The live music they have every night is wonderful.

Very clean, bartender Raymond was amazing making us feel special and makes amazing espresso martinis. Beach was beautiful and clean. Food was delicious at the buffet, so much variety to chose from. Tyrone Morgan from the Vibe Team also very social and hospitable. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back in a second.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Beautiful beach & Great Food!

This was our second time in Jamaica. First time at Hideaway Blue Waters! Resort is lovely, food is fantastic and the beach is amazing. There were a few things we had issues with but they didn't make or break our experience. The AC in our room didn't work well so it was very warm which was unfortunate. The closet door was broken and beat up and the door to the bathroom didn't actually shut. We obviously weren't happy about any of it but we didn't spend much time in the room. A few other things we left on comment cards were that it's very hard to book resturants as it's all on an app and not user friendly, the pool shuts down at 5pm which was very odd at an adult only resort and the nightlife entertainment could use work! We still had a great time overall those are just a few things that we questioned!

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Needs help especially in food and beverage

Beach is great, grounds are beautiful and well kept, food and beverage department need lots of help and training , lobby bar only open at 5 pm , poor restaurant reservations , buffet kept running out of food and bars kept on running out of alcohol

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Some good some not so much!!

Food was excellent! Staff was amazing! No shade and we were not allowed to use the umbrellas. Beach is very aggressive red flag daily. Pool is way too crowded. Do not like segregation of Diamond club guests. Reservations were easy to get while using the app. Overall enjoyed our stay but definitely geared to younger crowd!

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful

From our arrival to departure- exceptional! The staff…all of them are so friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are in good shape, the pools are beautiful, the beach is stunning. The food was good but the menu was repetitious. I highly recommend this resort. The nightly entertainment was the best ive seen at any resort. Everything was wonderful.
