Riu Reggae: Good Resort

The hotel was good, staff was somewhat friendly, and rooms were clean and done up daily. The only way you got bar service is if you had money for tipping in your hand, if not you waited until all who had tip money was served first. The only thing I did not like was there was no coffee makers in the rooms, I would not return for this reason. Also, I would not return due to the beach area, small and not sandy, had small pebbles hard to walk on. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful Resort

This hotel was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the food was great (ton's of fresh fruits and veggies) with lot's of variety, the beach was a bit of a walk from our room, but was beautiful!!! There were ton's of drinks for us to try, lots of activities. We had an amazing time!! I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family!!

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Amazing resort!!!

What are fun resort!! The staff are all amazing and fun! The beach was good and the water was so clear. Not a long beach to walk on if you like your morning walks. The grounds were kept very clean as well as all the bar areas. A special thank you to Odean and Santana and Jenesha in the buffet area 😘 And also to 2 amazing bar staff Kem and Snoopy. Poochee in entertainment is also amazing! Would I go back to this resort??? Yes in a heartbeat!

The RIU REGGEA RESORT was ABSOLUTELY the BEST... spacious , Very clean, Awesome Food Selection, AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT LOTS OF BARS. ONE 24 hour in lobby FRIENDLY STAFF VERY CLEAN ROOMS POOLS Maintained on a regular basis, Grounds well taken care of. A lot of free Water Sporting Activities for Exercising or for your own leisure In the past 20 years of Traveling... We were very pleased with our experience at the RIU REGGEA resorts in Jamaica

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Awesome resort

Food was the best I’ve ever had, staff was amazing, hotel super clean everything was top shelf. Our agent was super helpful (Sue Snider) and we are going to use her again. The room we had was absolutely beautiful

Riu Ocho Rios: Beach was awesome

The only amazing thing on this resort was the beach. It has a ton of aquatic life to see right there where you swim. You have to leave your towel to claim a chair on the beach by at least 8:30 to get a good spot. The food is mediocre at best, the steakhouse and gourmet were pretty good though. Tip if you want good service, even then if your a younger girl be prepared to be treated terribly from the female staff, even if your a very nice person who talks with respect. Views are awesome from the sea view rooms, good privacy. Resort is a good size, rooms are maybe 3 minutes from the beach tops. It’s gpod for a first time in Jamaica but would not go again.

Very well maintained,clean,staff friendly and helpful.Lots of shade to get out of the sun in the heat of the day.Food was good and buffet had lots of variety.I had three al le carts the only one I did not enjoy was French,food was okay but service was only fair very slow.The Italian one was fabulous.

Riu Reggae: Very nice Hotel

Found this hotel very compact in size, which we liked. Beds are Hard! Very clean in all areas of resort. Restaurants were very good, however, A/C was too cold. Too few Washrooms on resort & located too far away from restaurants & Bars!!! Planes from airport are noisy!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Grand is grand

The service was fantastic. Very attentive. Warm and friendly staff. Butler service A+ Restaurants plenty and food delicious. The StarPrestige option lived up to its billing. Private beach relaxing and excellent service. The golf courses: White Witch and Cinnamon Hill were excellent. Both in great condition. Caddies knowledgeable and fun.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children had a wonderful 7 days here just after New Year's. Our rooms were almost adjacent as requested. There were absolutely no issues upon arrival. Staff were very friendly and accomodating all week. We had emailed the resort for al la carte reservations before leaving Canada and they were made for us. The choices were amazing. You have to remember where you are and what they can offer. There was never any person looking for tips. In fact, they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I was deciding on a nightcap one evening, and the main lobby verandah bartender made me a Jamaican Grand Marnier. Perfect job. The resort is very large. We did a lot of walking from our room in the 2300 block. It was beautiful. There are several cats by our area and they hung around the gardens. Staff are always working to keep it lovely and clean. Lots of security and they are very friendly if you are. I felt very safe there. The only problem I saw was when people would argue with staff who monitored the exclusive members pool area. People would argue that they spent thousands of $ to come here and they should be allowed to go there. Duh! We did a day trip to Ocho Rios for some shopping and then Dunns River falls. We wanted just a little time shopping and approached our WestJet rep. No problem. She made arrangements for us and we were given exactly what we asked for. Lady Dee , who was our guide on the bus gave us lots of info on the area, made arrangements for the security of our parcels, got towels for us when we forgot ours, and we had a lovely day.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Small Fish, Big catch

Ideally located 10 min from airport. Small compact design with everything you need to enjoy a week of relaxation. Excellent food with strong Jamaican influences. Large room, excellent balcony with amazingly close views of ocean. Very good coffees and also snorkelling 20 feet off the beautiful beach.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great overall resort!

This place was recommended to us as a nice medium sized resort for a large family of 10 adults and 8 kids ranging from 2-15 years old. I think everyone was generally happy. A couple of hiccups in the beginning with front desk not seeing our reservation of 18 in the system, but they figured it out and made it work. Food at the buffet and the restaurants were good, the rooms were decent and clea [... read more]n, the pool and lazy river were nice as well. The beach was not as nice as Negril but it was close. The entertainment was pretty good as well,..hit and miss depending on the night. Some resorts have major pros and cons, just as great beach but poor food, or great waterpark, but terrible beach. I think this place is not too flashy but it's good in pretty much all aspects.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: A great Trip

The trip was wonderful, and so was the resort. It was clean, people were very friendly, and engaging. The only issue was during check-in, when the hotel said they did not have our reservation, but the kind people at the front desk said it was "no problem" and to go have some lunch, and they will sort it all out, which they did.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Incredible time

I booked this resort because it was my first time travelling alone and wanted something large and safe. The resort and stay were amazing. My room was gorgeous.....I felt like a princess. It was spacious with a fantastic ensuite and balcony. Housekeeping was diligent, my room was tidied each morning. The grounds were beautiful; very well maintained, The food options were fantastic! All staff were professional, helpful, friendly, positive and hard-working. They interacted well with all the guests. Suggestions for the hotel: 1. a better arrival system (a quiet room, stronger organization-room was loud, process was annoying after hours of travel) 2. WIFI in all rooms-WIFI was sketchy and only worked in the main lobby 3. have some "light snacks" available with the coffee and tea on the patio 4. do not serve/allow food around the pool--some guests made a mess and that was kind of gross to be around when swimming and lounging Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend the resort and take a return trip!

Legends Beach Resort: Legends Negril

Not to expect much from this hotel but the beds are hard rock! Six dollars for a Heineken is outrageous, noises being close to downtown Negril and the buffet is very basic to bad this hotel has so much potential but just falls short in every way except the people are Jamaican and naturally friendly. They can’t even call westjet to let them know we had a private airport transfer but they can call the restaurant in town. Very strange.

Riu Ocho Rios: Very good resort

Overall great experience. Food and entertainment very good. I stuck to the buffet as the a la cartes were nothing special. Buffets had good variety and a late night option open til 2am. Rooms need updating badly. Mattresses were not the most comfortable. Drink selections were good and staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. More of a family resort than couples which made for a more lively experience. Pool was nice and close to the rooms. Ocean was great with lots of options f [... read more]or shade or sun. I would definitley go back. It’s not a 5 star as advertised but I would give it a 4 star rating.

Riu Reggae: Great location and friendly staff.

We stayed a week at this Riu which is consistent with their quality and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly with energetic entertainment staff which appeared to have very long days but kept going like an energy bunny. String Bean was certainly a stand out and I honestly don't know how that guy kept going and going and going..... Food was very well done and attention to detail when dealing with some of the restaurants was extremely good. No matter if you want to just sit around or get active, there was something to do at the resort, albeit a little smaller than some that I've been to. We did have access to the other Riu but didn't spend much time there as we enjoyed our location a little more, maybe because there weren't kids running around... lol Jamaica is a good destination and would certainly return to the island. Over all, above average vacation...

Dreams Rose Hall: Amazing Resort!!

Our family of six just returned from a wonderful week at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. We were very impressed with the kindness and attentiveness of staff, cleanliness of the rooms and public areas and quality of the dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed the large beach, pools and water park as well. With so many activities offered, our kids (aged 15,18,21 and 22) were always busy and entertained. We all really look forward to returning to Jamaica and this resort again!!!

Great resort well maintained very clean but lack of entertainment around the pool not alot of entertainers to keep you busy all day and night but very nice people and excellent service by all employees and food was ok
