Catalonia Yucatan: Nice grounds

The resort was nice Needs more restaurants and aka carts 2 of us got really sick half way thru until we got home and our included transportation to airport never showed up to take us to airport,cost us 1500 pesos We will never return to this resort

Krystal Grand Cancun: Krystal not 100% Grand

2 banks of elevators and on each one 1 elevator was down so you can wait a while ... Our room had no hot water until 430 in the afternoon and it was only for about 30 mins ,.. I told the staff every day and they did nothing except try to sell me another trip from the npbooking team every day !!!! No chairs unless you are up at 630 and claim one ... entertainment was the same show every night , myans blowing shells for 40 mins every night .... Maid never restocked my fridge which did not work anyway , warm pop yahooo I don't mean to be so harsh but it was not the vacation I expected sorry

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Beautiful resort

The hotel as usual was beautiful, we had a great room with a beautiful ocean view. The grounds were very nicely done with beautiful flowers and very clean. Entertainment was very good and put on wonderful shows. Dining at the buffet could use some improvement as the food was always the same, not a lot of variety, some of the people cooking need more training as some of the food was not cooked properly, like chicken needs to be cooked thoroughly and some were raw inside the same as with the lo [... read more]bsters they were raw, the grill where the food was being cooked were never cleaned so whatever they were cooking on it would be all black on the outside but raw inside. Actually one of the managers the night before we left came to talk to us at our table and asked us how they could improve and we told her the same things I just mentioned, hopefully she will convey the message and improve as she said she would

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Ok

Hotel is nice. Quite dated with old shower. The bed was comfy. 2 sinks was great. Beach grounds and shoreline was outstanding however water although aqua in colour and warm was very rough with lots of sharp coral. Windy conditions for 10 days, too bad for us. Swimming was very difficult. Lots of steps and slippery surfaces. At 75 I was very careful everywhere I walked. Food was not good at the deck/grill. Good at Azia and the Mediterranean restaurants. Drink selection was very good. Having be [... read more]ach chairs available without reserving was a Hugh plus. People working at the resort were pleasant.

Riu Santa Fe: Great resort

Very clean, food was great. Grounds are well groomed. Staff is friendly. Riu parties are lots of fun. Great resort to just relax or if you want to party there are parties. Very safe place to go. There are Excursions and plenty of activities to do if you wish to do so.

Royal Hideaway Playacar: Perfect Getaway

Not only was it a beautiful resort with amazingly beautiful views of the ocean but it was also a great place to relax and be catered to. Our room was spectacular. The resort size was ideal since it was not crowded at the pool, for dining nor on the beach. As picky eaters we were impressed by the variety of restaurants and menu items to choose from. We were especially impressed by the dining service at the Grill from our favourite staff member named Frank N. He was attentive and very efficient. The atmosphere, the service, the beauty and the tranquility of this resort made this our favorite vacation so far.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Very bad rooms

Very bad, small, dirty, rundown rooms. Also without paying extra, the only option for meals was the buffet. Service was good. Golf was very good ……………,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,…………………..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice resort

Ocean riviera paradise is a nice resort. We stayed in the adult only were to have a pool view but the room we ended up with was not a pool view but still worked out. Restaurants were good when open enjoyed the Japanese and route 66, steakhouse was also good. Buffet was as expected hit and miss for hot food. Entertainment was good 1 night 2 guys playing on a Monday they need to have it Thursday, Friday and Saturday with bands. For us it was too big of a resort.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Impressed!

This resort is well maintained, super clean, and the staff was incredible. The specialty restaurants were delicious, with many to choose from. The Italian restaurant was our favorite, followed by the French restaurant. The grounds are kept meticulous, along with the pools and public washrooms. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bacelo Maya Palace. The beach was awesome and swimming with the sea turtles was so cool. The food was delicious, the rooms clean and service was excellent. When there were line ups for the bar, a manager would be present to organize a quicker method. Our only complaint, would be there are not enough seats. You need to be up and out of your room by 6:30 am in order to reserve loungers at the beach or at the pool. We heard heated arguments because people [... read more] were stealing a loungers that were already reserved with towels. It seems the only way they wouldn't be taken was if you left personal items on them. It is a very busy resort, with tons of people. I think I prefer quieter spaces, but now we know for next time. Overall, a great spot!

Villablanca Huatulco: We love it!

The hotel is spotless, food amazing and the staff and service are top notch. It's in a very covenient location. We love our time at this hotel with beautiful Mexican people! One visit, and you'll want to keep returning!

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Very clean

4 resorts in one. Disappointed that we were downgraded from the one we selected to the resort in the total opposite end which limited activities I planned. It’s a long walk if you’re able to make it. The buffet food was great. No beach service. Not enough beach or pool chairs available unless you “claimed” them at 630 am. Also there is not enough a la carte restaurants for the size of the resort and I’m sure resort was not at full capacity. I wouldn’t expect to get into the 4 allotted especiall [... read more]y during peak times. We managed to get in after complaining. We were told that even with premium package there is no guarantees.

Riu Palace Baja California: Riu Baja California

Nice hotel. Food and drinks were good. Lack of security at the beach access. Vendors crossed over the rope and bothered us constantly. Lots of theft either from vendors or passersby. Cell phones, shoes. The hotel management didn’t seem to care too much. Also, absolutely no drink service on the beach, even if you wanted to tip. Seemed to concentrate on the pool area. Smoking pits were offered but lots of people smoking wherever and nobody did anything about it. It’s the 2nd time to this resort.  [... read more]Probably the last. Will stay at the palace next time. Too costly for what you get.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Bed bugs (according to the Dr)

First, we have stayed at this Hilton before and the front line staff (housekeeping, entertainment, groundskeeping, maintenance, service) are outstanding - always very friendly and helpful and the location is also excellent. Unfortunately we had a very poor experience. A few days into our stay I noticed a few bites on my lower legs, I didn't think anything of it and then a few more days went by with more bites and I decided to get some "after bite" thinking it was mosquito's or something. It p [... read more]rogressively got worse - By day 5 we were both getting bites and by days 6 we were covered by about 40 bites mostly on the lower legs and the itchiness was awful. During one of our walks we noticed a local 24hr Dr's office and decided to go have it looked at - we didnt say where we were staying or what we thought they were - without hesitation the Dr said Bed Bugs..we said are you sure, he said yes. When this was brought to managements attention (3 different managers), the first one immediately said we didn't follow their reporting protocol and even suggested we brought the bed bugs in our luggage, the other two were basically repeating the same response or saying nothing at all - there was no dialogue, they just listened and nodded (not sure why the second two even asked to speak to us). We tried to show each of them all the bites on our legs and they wouldn't even look....I showed the Dr's medical report, the prescriptions (Celestamine and Ivermectina) and the receipt for the Dr's visit. Not once did they even say we are sorry this happened or how can we help, it was all about not acknowledging the problem. We even offered to see their Dr and give them our luggage but they said no. They did switch our room (it was the last night) and when I asked if they were fumigating the room we stayed in they wouldn't answer except to say they are following protocol. I am not posting the pictures of the bites or Dr's report or Managers names but we have everything if anyone at the Hilton cares. We don't know if this is an isolated occurrence but to be so easily dismissed and actually blamed at what we believed was a very nice hotel is extremely disappointing. Fortunately there are many other options in the area to consider for our next visit. Good luck if you stay at the Hilton PDC

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Party Central

Great hotel if you don’t want ocean beach to lay on and are into social gatherings and like to party. Very nice staff, very clean and spacious junior suite room, food is average, but again, there was no ocean/beach front to lay on - you only have the pool. The advertising of this resort is a lie.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing trip!

I thought the hotel was beautiful. I had a room in the Eden bldg which had a swim up. Couldn't have asked for better. Everyone was super respectful and kind. Food was good. Has a coffee shop and the ladies were fantastic. Guest services was phenomenal! I wish I could remember all their names but as I can't I'd like to give a huge thanks for all they did for me.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Awesome as Usual

We have been coming to this resort for many years and we have never been disappointed- we couldn't get our usual room but one directly behind it which was fabulous as well. Food was great also and the grounds are amazing- another reason why we keep coming back. Absolutely no complaints at all- we will always come back.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Quite disappointing

Prior to 2020 we used to travel to Cocos in RDG fairly regularly. Royal(Grand) DeCameron was always touted as the better higher end version of Cocos. Our experience certainly did not reflect that. The service staff in the bars and restaurants and the room cleaning staff were wonderful as always but the front desk staff were not. We paid for a room upgrade when booking, when we arrived the desk clerk said we would love Block 2 because of the great views and it would be fairly quiet(our other re [... read more]quest). The ocean views were good but the room was way less than 1 star and certainly not what someone should expect when paying for an upgrade. We complained the following morning and were told nothing was available for one more night(29% of the trip), but we had no choice. The desk clerk was also very rude and frosty after I pointed out to him that this was not what we should have been offered when we had paid for upgrades when booking in October. We were moved to Block 4 where the rooms were better... in comparison and also quieter. The light over the bathroom sink didn't work, when I went to ask for a fix, the same front clerk took my information. You can imagine how well that went. This was Day 3, after multiple days of asks, the light bulb was changed on Day 5. All in all, I would not recommend or ever go back. In comparison Cocos in RDG is a gem!!!

Catalonia Riviera Maya: mini moon

We came for a mini moon, and had a great time! Weather was meh with some cloudy rainy days, but it wasn’t the snowy north! Even with the rain lots to do with nightly entertainment and food we’re SO SO GOOD! Bartenders were friendly and the PURE bar made the best drinks! Also the location of this resort is great as you can leave to explore playa adventures and feel safe doing so!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Cant Wait to go back!

Everything was great, the beach was not as expcted. is it as wide and white as other places NO but it was clean and the kids were playing. Seaweed was minimal and people were cleanign it up! The food was AMAZING, so many options and never went hungry. Definitely eat that the beach restaurant - pizza, nachos and fish tacos were great and the view was unforgettable.
