Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: rocky staret to vacation
Sunwing was late leaving Halifax for no reason it seems therefore we were late arriving Cuba supposed to be 8PM . The service on flight was very poor. I had my snack garbage on my table until announcement for landing, not any crew member came to collect so I threw onto th floor beneath my feet to be able to place the table in the locked upward position for landing. The space between seats in front was very small I now know what a sardine feels like in a can. When we arrived at our destination we [... read more]
Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: could use improvment
grounds and public areas were lovely. rooms were not cleaned adequately. buffets and meals were very good. problem areas could be dealt with more quickly ie. the elevator was not working properly for 3 days so had to use stairs with a very bad knee. requests made many times with no action even after discussing requests with guest services manager and promises to rectify. bar fridges need to be better stocked 1 bottle of water and 2 beers every 2 days is not adequate. aside from many unpleasa [... read more]

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Excellent Resort
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Iberostar Laguna Azul from February 14-21, 2019. The staff was very friendly, polite and professional. Rooms were very tidy and comfortable. Food was excellent and so was the entertainment. Swimming pools were great and the beach environment was, needless to say, excellent. We were blessed with excellent weather for the whole week! We very much enjoyed our sightseeing excursions - Havana One Day trip and Cuba: sugar, cigar and rum. Our tour guide - Fidel, is de [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Time
My husband has given his review and I would like to give mine. The staff at this hotel was outstanding, especially our concierge Arturo. As we had been told, the food was great with lots of different restaurants to choose from. We would definitely go back again
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Best vacation experience ever
The combination of weather, great food and the Mexican people made for a memorable holiday.Aspecial shoutout to our concierge at the Lindo,Arturo, who did so much to make our stay so memorable.A suggestion for your shows at night. There is nothing about the shows on your touchscreen. As a result we missed most of the shows during the first week.
Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Good 14 day stay
The resort was well thought out; with building locations, pathways, covered walk ways, landscaping and restaurant locations. The staff are great and the entertainment staff put a great deal of effort to entertaining their guests. The food was good; especially the variety of fish. The beach is class 1. Communication of daily activities was lacking. Most resorts have notice boards detailing each days activities or special events. Guests have to request information from staff daily and sometimes t [... read more]

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Iberostar Laguna Azul
Wonderful beaches and pools. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a few inconveniences like a lack of Wifi (pay $1 CUC/hr.), shower head plugged with deposits (no water pressure in shower), no hot water one day and remote to TV broken but replaced. Although these things happened, we had a great trip and excursions were easy to book. Food at buffet was okay but the Japanese a la cart was fantastic. Coffee was so tasty if made individually by the bartender. There is a spa on the fifth floor, [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great resort and beautiful beach
The hotel is nice and it has it's own beach Ensenachos. It is idyllic. I have been to Varadero multiple times, but you really feel like you have to beach to yourself here. The hotel is looking a little tired, but most of your day will likely be on the beach.
Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Iberostar enchonachos
Great staff. Looked after us from day one. Bar staff Alex and osniel in the restaurant at breakfast Will be back soon. Beach is great. My travel agent Eliana at tripcentral is the best I will recommend her to anyone
Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beyond Wonderful
This hotel is outstanding. We found the setting the best of three worlds. The lovely hidden walk through the area we dubbed the rain forest, the lawns and strutting peacocks doing their stuff and the amazingly beautiful, pristine beach. Our room including the bathroom was lovely. Never stayed on the ground floor before and we loved it. All in all a great experience!
Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Loved this resort
My husband and I just returned from this resort where we travelled with another couple. This was our third visit to Cozumel but our first time at this resort. The food at both the buffet and Oriental and Steak House A La Carte's, was the best that we've had at any all inclusive anywhere. The accommodations' are in bright one and two story buildings with 4 units on each level. Each room has an outside chair, table and hammock. The rooms are a decent size, clean and quiet but nothing fancy. T [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Good resort, if your not a beach lover
We had 8 in or group ,worst beach ever! The storms previously had eroded the beach and brought up so much seaweed that most of it was not usable. Staff was great! They bent over backwards to make sure you had enjoyed yourself. Almost never did the soap dispensers work in public washrooms . Peacocks were a delight to see! Lots of pool games. If you go to many resorts then when you’ve seen one evening show you’ve seen them all! I give this resort 3 1/2 out of 5
Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Good but not great.
Grounds were beautifully kept. Food was very good. Ala Cartes also very good. Beach was ok. Garbage scattered a short walk from our beach. There was a smell of sewage in the main buffet at times. Rooms clean but outdated. Our garden view overlooked the kitchen of the next resort which was disappointing noisy and smelly. We were woken up very early every single morning by kitchen staff at the other resort. Other than that it was a pleasant time. Shout out to Robert at the main bu [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Mediocre resort
Most Staff were pleasant. Bar staff were standoffish and definitely expected tips every drink. 0ther guests reported same experience. Clean resort but not worth the amount paid compared to other iberostar resorts,

Hotel Mojito: Food
Hotel was a bit disappointing....the food I was not impressed with at all, every day it seemed the buffet was cold ....hot table wise, service again disappointing....all n all , not worth the money paid
Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Best beaches in Cuba
We love this resort! It was our eighth visit, and sadly, while the rooms have been spruced up and look lovely, the food service has suffered a surprising downturn. There was a lack of selection at the buffet, and the food was not always hot. But there were always fresh fruits and veggies, and the a la carte restaurants were fine. We liked the Italian and the the Mediterranean restaurants best, though some folks didn't like the Italian and loved the Japanese. If you have to omit one, skip the Cub [... read more]
