Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: High Expectations Realized.

Once again we found the Ocean Casa Del Mar to be a relaxing and enjoyable vacation spot. Some of the folks remembered us from before and made us feel very welcome again. Linet from the bar and Joleidy from the kitchen in particular. The room was clean and without problem, and the grounds were very well kept. If we had one complaint it would be that the sound system in the theater was unbearably loud. We only saw one show so maybe we just picked the wrong night. Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Great time

I was there for only 4 nights but had an amazing experience ! Very friendly staff ,upkept resort,beautiful beach and all on the budget price Only thing that's negative is huge boulders first 10 meters of the sea as you enter the water Also, know what you are signing up for as it's about 3 hour drive from the airport on this bus with all the stops

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing Resort

The resort was fantastic. We stayed in the Spa Section. The accommodations were first class. The staff were so kind and helpful. Swimming pool was amazing. Beaches great. Absolutely no complaints with the food.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Beautiful Resort

Resort was beautiful, clean, courteous staff. The beach was very shelly and in the water were lots of shells and pieces of broken little rocks. Water shoes have to be worn. Food was so so. Pretty much the same everyday. No real variety. Bbq chicken was the best. Buffet very large seating area. Snack bar great food. Pools were awesome. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. Entertainment could use a little work. Overall great resort. Would definitely  [... read more]go back there.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Great resort!

Rooms, food, beautiful beach, pleasant staff, all great. My first visit here was last year and I was so impressed with the beach I came back and will probably repeat again. Only one complaint is that the nightly entertainment can get too loud for me, from 9:00pm to 11:30pm. They should turn the music down several notches.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Amazing beach

Wonderful beach with clear water and whites sands. Two swimming pools with all day entertainment, music and dance. 24hours snack bar and 24 hours open bar. Very good internet connection with a fair price. Only three restaurants and one all you can eat buffet.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: horrible experience

everything is horrible from the minute you enter the so said resort till you leave it . it was a nightmare for all of us glad that we were able to leave that place and move to another resort everything is bad from food to room service to reception towels not washed had blood stains on them bed sheets had blood and stains

Memories Paraiso: Memories Great chain!

Ola! The grounds were clean and well maintained. Staff were great, cleaning staff and restaurant staff courteous and helpful. Beach white, white sand fluffy and amazing. Food was great for Cuba. Pools were clean and little cold. Weather was fantastic. Entertainment was great but started at 9:30 which is a little late if you have kids. Lots of kids activities. Buffets had lots of good hot freshly cooked food. Many assorts to pick from. Sand flees to get you so bring bug spray. Trolleys pick you up and can take you all over the repost but the resort is definitely small enough to walk it all. This report is shared with Grand Memories but we have the bigger pool. Towels were plentiful and always exchangeable. Sports area always had something open or someone to play with. Managers and staff always said good morning and talked with you. Will definitely go back and recommend this resort. Bus ride 1. 3/4 hours off the cosway from the airport but you get see the marvelous Cuba and culture on the ride and the sunsets and sun rises are amazing!!!!! See you again soon Cuba

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Fantastic Resort!!!!

We stayed in the Grand Village section.It was quiet and relaxing. The beach was stunning: white sand, great for walking-lots of shade provided. The staff were amazing- friendly and helpful. The food was incredibly good from -eggs made to order/smoked salmon/fresh fruit for breakfast to grilled lobster/club sandwiches/hamburgers by the beach for lunch to steak/lobster thermidor for dinner in the gourmet restaurant. Only slight negative was the 90 minute trip from the airport-but even that was not so bad-air conditioned bus- comfortable seats-interesting countryside. Look forward to going back.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Third Time Was A Charm!

This was my 15th time to Cayo Santa Maria and third time staying at Ocean Casa Del Mar. My room was perfect. The grounds were kept very clean. Coffee and drinks from both Mike’s Coffee and all the bars were delicious. There was always a great variety of food at the buffet. The best part of this resort is some of the amazing staff who I feel blessed to call friends. Daniel, Leo, Iran, Raider & Dania in the Buffet always provided the best service. Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Perfect January getaway!

This is our 5th trip to Cuba over a 13 year span. We've been to Veradero 2x, Cayo Coco 1x and Cayo Santa Maria 2x. Melia Cayo Santa Maria was perfect in so many ways! The beach was stunning! We spent every day there...the water beautiful shades of green and blue, and warm! The the resort small, clean, in good repair and easy to navigate! Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Almost a Nice Place to Stay

Must start by saying that Cayo Santa Maria has the best beaches we have ever seen. Powdery white sand as far as you can walk. We always got chairs and palapas at the beach, but by 10am there were none available. Room nice, clean. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Had lots of problems finding working bathrooms outside of hotel room. Service was hit and miss. Some staff were very pleasant, while others obviously wished they were somewhere else. Resonance Blu Santa Maria: This resort needs a lot of work

Maintenance is mostly lacking in this resort. Public washrooms are out of order or have no paper. Most lights along the trails are broken and some are knocked down with no attempt for repair. It is rather strange to see the big boss going around trying to fix things up, while middle management just walks around looking important and even seem to have trouble returning a customers greeting. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: The best in Cuba we've seen

Nothing really to complain about. Spacious and clean rooms, good service, nice beaches, cool programs for kids, alright food. A notch above other 4+ (Cuban) star hotels in the area. It's usually pretty pricey, but it's a good value when on sale

Memories Paraiso: Great Resort

We stayed at the Memories Paraiso in Cayo Santa Maria from January 26-Feb 2nd. We had a great time and the service was EXCELLENT! We were very pleased with our room. Villa 35 great location overlooking the pool and our room was very clean. Great layout of the grounds.We were a walk away from the market.We will definitely go back! Would I recommend this resort.....Absolutely!

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Terrible Hotel- Golden Tulip

Room was ok so were staff but don't expect the same as a regular hotel elsewhere. Food was gross & I mean gross.....took coloured rice & found a 1" piece of pig skin with hair on it....other white rice had small black pieces--looked like something prisoners would get. All food not clean & very very basic....hardly any bread & 2 barbecue areas had extremely long line-ups for 1)fish 2)dry beef & pork or chicken, no sauces etc., few salads & most with no dressings , deserts were rubbery, dining  [... read more]room only opened at 6:30 & huge lineups running to barbecue area as nothing else somewhat palatable. Also hotel was too far away from airport ...could not really visit any towns without taking a whole destination from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. Market close to hotel was a joke....& cost us $9.00 CUC for a 10 min. ride & all items were what we would find at a carnival! Will never advise anyone to go to this hotel & this really turned us off on Cuba!

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Amazing resort

Beautiful grounds ,clean rooms,food was fantastic with a lot of variety, service was great , will definitely return to this beautiful resort. The shows were great and views were amazing. The rooms were so clean and loved the huge showers with the rainfall shower heads. Beds were extremely comfortable , overall I give it a full 5 star hotel!

Valentin Perla Blanca: It was okay.

We were a little disappointed about this property. Listed at a 4 1/2 star, but restaurants were not up to par. One omelet station open in the mornings when the hotel was at full capacity. No beach bbq's all week except for our last day. Ran out of bread at the snack bars, and also butter at the main buffet. Line ups to get fresh, hot food at the buffet was terrible. The other buffet was not open. Beach was beautiful and the lobby was a happening spot.

We loved this resort a lot. The room was big enough and comfortable. Cleaned to perfection daily. The food in the buffet is always fresh, large variety of vegies for a nice healthy salad as well as fresh fish, shrimp and variety of meats, hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey, chicken. We really enjoyed the food in the buffet and not so much in the a la carte restaurants. Every day you will find a big water bottle in your mini bar. If it is not enough you can ask for more. Another nice touch is live music in the lobby in the evening. Cannot comment on entertainment as we didn't go to any. There is a tennis ground and a small gym. My suggestion to the management would be to add a couple of billiard and ping pong tables.My husband and I found none.In general I would recommend this resort to people with kids and couples who are not keen about night life and enjoy the beach, the sun and the sea.
