Riu Palace Macao: Fantastic Resort

This is our second time at Riu Palace Macao and will go back next year. The properly is very clean, the rooms are very neat and clean. No complaints about the food and THE STAFF ARE VERY VERY FRIENDLY. The group age is between 45 to 75 approximately and maybe a hand full of young adults. The entertainment during the day and night is fantastic.

Riu Yucatan: Great trip

The resort was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful breakfast was good but the dinners need work. dinner at the steakhouse was delicious the beach was gorgeous well maintained even with the seaweed being the worst they have had this year.

Riu Santa Fe: Lively resort

Everything was good. The only change I would make would be not to go there in March as it is spring break and quite noisy and not relaxing. The food was good and lots of it. The amenities was good. The location is priceless with the view and close to town. The service was excellent from staff and very polite.

Riu Guanacaste: Absolutely beautiful resort....The beach not so nice.

The grounds were beautiful. The employees were very professional and efficient. I did not have to wait for anything in the dining room or the restaurants. I met a lot of wonderful people while travelling alone. Unfortunately, when I was leaving, I asked for someone to come to my room to assist with my luggage. The man who came asked if I was alone and I said yes. He immediately took $20.00 from the table which I had left for the maid. I tried very hard to make him understand that what he  [... read more]had done was wrong but he just laughed and would not put the money back. He kept saying "too much". Upon checking out, I filed a complaint with the front desk and they provided disciplinary action to the man immediately. When I saw him again in the restaurant before I left, he was angry with me. When I paid that much for a vacation, it is unfortunate that this incident even took place. It left me with a very bad feeling. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It was lovely.

Riu Playa Blanca: Nice resort

Very clean. Food was fantastic. The only downfall is that the locals come and stay at the resort on the weekends and they take over all areas. They have no respect for the tourists. They come to the pool with the bar with their kids. Huge blowup floaters and their own radio to drown out the music playing in the bar.

Riu Republica: Awesome resort!

The rooms are nicely decorated and very big. We enjoyed hanging out on the balcony in the mornings with our coffee and also at night drinking beer as we unwound from our day. The food was amazing! Many different restaurants to eat at or just stick with the buffets. We also liked the fact that there are 2 different areas at the resort. One side for the drunken twenty somethings. And the other side for the older people who want to party. Riu Palace Costa Rica: Fantastic Resort

We recently stayed at the Riu Palace in Costa Rica. Our experience at the resort was nothing short of fantastic. The staff are all very professional and personable. The rooms are always well stocked, clean and comfortable, personally we loved the shower with lots of room, water pressure and the rain shower head was a great touch. Pools are beautiful and it was very enjoyable to walk along the beach, nightly entertainment was also enjoyable. Riu Playa Blanca: FANTASTIC PLACE

The first impression was great the lobby was clean spacious and airy filled with welcoming staff who worked hard and fast at getting us checked and our vacation started. We arrived in our room to find it clean and bright the only issue was that the a/c was not working but one short call to the reception desk and that was fixed in no time. The food was amazing in the buffet and the a la carte re [... read more]staurants with the steak house being my favorite we went there twice and I would have gone every night but the rest of my group wanted to try all the other places which in the end were just as good. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety but my go to was always a freshly made cheese omelet with different sides every morning. Pizza in the pool buffet restaurant was our go to for a quick lunch, they also carried a number of other items at this buffet for lunch and we tried very hard to have a little bit of every thing. Our preferred location for our time on the resort was in the very clean pool, a table off to the corner since we were a large group of people it was the perfect spot for us. It was also the perfect spot just steps away from the swim up bar where Carlos the bartender knew us and always had our drinks ready as we approached the bar.. This guy always had a smile on his face and was attentive to all the guests just amazing, Thanks Carlos :) . After dinner we would walk over to the theatre to have drinks prepared by José. Our first night there he treated us as friends and even prepared a drink for us that we then called the "José special" and he loved that. He too got know us and when he would see us coming would start to prepare our "José specials" He was amazing because he could remember this stuff and actually had fun doing his job. Now for the one thing that was a little disappointing, on our last full day at the resort the locals were allowed to come use the facility and unfortunately they kind of invaded. Our pool became over crowded, they brought portable stereos and played them extremely loud over the existing music that was playing at the bar, they had no respect for the cleanliness of the pool by jumping in with sandy feet and spilling drinks in the pool. Having them join us would have been great if they would have respected the grounds and us as the guests to their country but there seemed to be a great lack of that and almost a sense of entitlement from them to the resort. All in All I would 100% refer anyone to this resort it has space to party and space to relax. Riu Bambu: it was a nice resort

the resort was nice the ground the pool was good but the beach was very good that was we spend are time at the beach the at the bar area the service was very friendly and had lot of fun with the service personality and very outgoing

Riu Vallarta: Amazing as Expected!

We have done 2 RIU in the past, Aruba & Punta Cana. This one is just as gorgeous if not more. We enjoyed the service, amenities, food, hoisekeeping, etc... Despite the beach was a bit wavy and cold for swimming, we certainly enjoyed the 7 nights there. Hopefully, the upcoming renovation will bring this establishment to a higher level! Keep up the good work!

Riu Playa Blanca: Great staff! Good food! Well kept resort.

We enjoyed the resort. It is just the right size to not be overwhelmed and they have friendly staff always greeting you with a smile. The food and buffers are great. The rooms kept clean and always comfortable.

Riu Palace Antillas: Awesome Resort

It was adults only - which we prefer. Resort is well maintained and very clean. Washrooms in public area were spotless. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Many a la carte restaurants to choose from and the international buffet was always good, food was plentiful, well presented and varied day to day. They call Aruba ‘the happy island’ and the people and hotel staff were certainly friendly & always helpful. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and hope to return soon!

Riu Guanacaste: Not bad!

After having issues with the toilet in our room, I placed a call first thing in the morning hoping to have it fixed when we got back from our outing...it wasn't! On the other hand, the front desk had it resolved within the hour of my going down to talk to them.

Riu Palace Baja California: Stunning views

The property of the Riu Palace Baja California offered beautiful views of the ocean and the Arch. We enjoyed sitting poolside or in the seated area sipping cappuccinos while taking in the view. The food was overall good. We really enjoyed the Krystal and Indian restaurant. We did not have the opportunity to get seating in the steakhouse, but heard from several couples their steakhouse meals were not good. We did take in the entertainment and the White Party at the Santa Fe and we did enjoy spending time there. We intentionally chose an adults only resort as that is our preference when we travel--this time we were very relieved in our choice as spring breakers arrived at the Santa Fe at the end of our visit. We spoke to people who managed to move to the Baja from the Santa Fe because of the craziness of the students and they were much happy once they did. The Baja is quieter than the Palace and Sante Fe, but everything is till available to Baja guests whenever they want. I would consider returning there again.

Riu Palace Mexico: Yes it is a great resort!

The staff and ground staff were all excellent. Everyday things looked prestine. The buffet had great selection and we were all very content. The steak house had very good steak which I had not really expected in these areas. The other Alcarts we did not visit as you had to have long pants,and I would think dress type shorts would be fine with most people. Riu Republica: RIU Republica

The hotel was very modern and clean. Pools were very nice and the beach very well kept. The restaurant were disappointing. Food was not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Most restaurant were buffets and the food was not very good.

Riu Montego Bay: Amazing stay!

I had a phenomenal time at the Riu Montego Bay. ALL the staff are so entertaining, kind and helpful. For someone that went alone, I felt safe, comfortable and was completely satisfied with my entire stay.

Riu Montego Bay: Had good time

Very neat grounds with lots of activities but the staff were not too nice like our experience in Mexico.Food was good.Overall was satisfactory but not the best.Our room was too small(probably because it was basic)compared to other places we have been

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Baja California

We recently vacationed at the Riu Palace hotel in Cabo San Lucas on the Sea of Cortez. This was our 4th stay at this hotel so we know what to expect. Our ocean view room was amazing, particularly at night with view of the town all lit up & from the harbouring cruise ships. Service is always great around the pool side, buffet restaurants & pool side barbecue. Great selection of food from their Krystal, Bombay, Japanese & Italian restaurants. The breakfast buffet was always great with selecti [... read more]on from the omelette bars, pancakes, fruits, cheese & deli bar. We were only disappointed with the night time buffet. The 1st night they offered lobster tails & other sea food choices. After that it seemed to go a little down hill. For example, one evening the crabs legs were still frozen. After that we opted for the a la carte restaurant with great choices on their menus. One of the particular reasons we enjoy this region is the consistent warm dry weather, we we find very comfortable for walking on the beach. One note if you go there. Swimming is limited in the ocean due to undertow currents. There are sections away from the hotel that you can swim in at any time. And of course the proximity of the town, which is very friendly & safe and is easily walked to by way of the beach. In the end we would go there again!

Riu Palace Baja California: Riu palace

For my very first trip this place is awesome nothing bad to say about, the staff, rooms, food etc, everything was all around great it’s going to be really hard to top this place for next year if we don’t discuss going back I really would like to go back once again in my lifetime riu is awesome!! Thanks for the great experience!! Also if you go down to the marina I recommend eating at the where’s the food place WTF. Really great food and owner is great guy cheers!!
