Tryp Cayo Coco: Good Resort for price
It needs a little updating, service needs improving. Beach was amazing. Entertainment was good. Foam party was a blast. Food was acceptable. Drive from airport was quick. Flight was great. Some of the staff was amazing some not so much
Tryp Cayo Coco: Bad Resort
Hotel staff wasn't friendly they only catered to there own.. Service was slow and the the food was bad.. Lots of mosquitoes and they spray right around the time the cafeteria opens for supper so u get eaten a live and have to leave
Tryp Cayo Coco: Mediocre resort
The rooms were decent, beds were like sleeping on plywood. Maids were great, staff didn't go out of their way at all for anything (even with good tips) Alacart booking staff(Anabel) was rude and abrupt . Nightly shows were good( very talented) but typical, not a lot of other entertainment. Food was edible, coffee in restaurant was like swamp water. The stench of the bed of water by the snack bar was unbearable (which is beyond their control) .. the lobby bar was by far the best. Beach was b [... read more]
Tryp Cayo Coco: cuba vacation

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beautiful Resort
This was my first visit to this resort. It was beautiful the grounds, rooms and overall appearance was great The beach was absolutely beautiful, the staff on the beach where very helpful . The food was great enjoyed my omelet every morning, but at times it could of been warmer, but was good!! The staff where great but honestly the level of customer service needs to be greatly improved!! The entertainment was amazing was always a variety of things going on!! I enjoyed my stay there but not sure I [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: Very good resort. I would return to it.
This resort is in a very beautiful setting. You have views on all sides of the ocean and on 1 the pool and the other the marina. The rooms are large and the maids do a wonderful job. Upgrading to the Level has it little perks and some are worth it. They make amazing café latte and are always smiling. You order food from the menu and not have to stand in line and they always have little snacks available if you just want something light. It has free Wi-Fi and the best connections. The beach i [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: Awesome vacation
Excellent facility! Very clean and. I concierge was excellent. Buffet was good.. lots of selection and à la carte were delicious( portion of main course small at times) pool was beautiful and beach was amazing
Melia Jardines del Rey: Very pleased
The beach was absolutely beautiful! We were looking forward to enjoying the beach and can say we were truly blown away...we spent many hours relaxing thereThe hotel staff were professional and always friendly and helpful. The pools were laid out extremely well, the only critique would be that they could be a bit cleaner. Entertainment staff were energetic and friendly. There was always food to eat and as this was our second trip to Cuba we found the food better than our previous trip to Vera [... read more]
Melia Marina Varadero: Great resort
There was a lot of choice for food, the beach was beautiful, the resort was clean and there was plenty of room. The service was great and fast the the entertainment was good. The staff could have been more informative and different bars and restaurants were closed when it was during open hours.
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Great resort
The resort was beautiful. The beach was fantastic. The pool bar employees were awesome. Housekeeping came 3 times in 8 days and had to call all 3 times. But most of all the food was horrible. I would not return because of the food.
Melia Varadero: Worst resort I have been to
The guy next door to us tried breaking in to my room drunk twice security did nothing. Another night the room next two us had a domestic dispute security refused to do anything. I couldn't get sleep. I booked a room with a king bed they pushed to twin beds together. My room sometimes would not get cleaned up. There is no server's around the pool to bring you drinks and the pool was dirty. The food on the resort was awful. Overall it was the worst experience I've had out of 10 trips
Melia Jardines del Rey: Very nice resort
Just returned from this resort and we really enjoyed our stay. We traveled with our two kids ages 7&9. This resort is big so be prepared for lots of walking. The food was typical for Cuban resorts. We really enjoyed the pork and chicken. Don’t stress yourself out if they run out of something in the buffet, as there’s always something to eat. A lot of people complained when they didn’t have bread. However, it only happened for two or three meals the entire time we were there. So I don’t t [... read more]
Paradisus Varadero: Disappointed
We paid to be upgraded to the family concierge section, but was very disappointed with the service. the buffet in the section was closed all week, forced us to shuttle to the main section for lunch and dinner every day. we often had to wait for a long time for the shuttle. 2 of us also got food poisoning. sunwing flight was delayed for both going and return flights! which was very challenging when traveling with an infant. this is our first time traveling with our baby and it was a very disappo [... read more]
Hotel Camino del Mar: Second time to Melia Cayo Guillermo
When people ask me “why do you choose to go to Cuba? Their services and food are not that great...†I often remind them that Cuba is not about that! It’s about beautiful beaches, the music, the people you meet along the way weaving into your vacation tapestry with shiny golden thread that adds value to your experience. Melia Cayo Guillermo doesn’t fall short of all that. It’s a small and charming resort with positive vibe and energy. We appreciated the efforts of all working staff, fr [... read more]
Melia Las Americas: Awesome resort, awesome people
Great rooms, great restaurants, great beaches, great people. It was like a dream. The beach was right next to the resort which was convenient. Live entertainment in the lobby at 8:30, theme parties at 9:30, they all kept the atmosphere lively and made the overall experience quite enjoyable. They also went out of the way to make sure we had a comfortable stay (Make sure you tip. Tips are highly appreciated and get you great service apart from your usual P's and T's) They also gave us an ext [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Would not return
Rooms were clean, the rest of the resort was not - yellowish-brown ‘gunk’ on the walls of the pool, I assume from people drinking at the pool bar and clearly urinating all day (it’s not humanly possible to hold your bladder drinking all day). Plates were left around the pool area for multiple days. No towels - luckily we read previous reviews and brought our own. A lot of mosquitoes. Half the resort was shutting down due to “low-season†which none of the guests I spoke with were to [... read more]
Tryp Cayo Coco: Not impressed!
Except for the great beach, everything else about this resort is not. Lack of food, poor sevice, dirty restrooms and facilities, broken crumbling tiles around the pools, horrible smell from stagnant man made pond infested by mosquitoes. Never left a bad review before but after a week of feeling hungry, frustrated and having mosquitoe bites all over our bodies we couldn't wait to come home!
Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing Experience
Melia Cayo Guillermo was an amazing experience! The animation team was very entertaining and friendly. Food was delicious. The rooms needed a little updating but they were still clean and cozy. Grounds were beautifully kept. Beach was GORGEOUS!!
Melia Marina Varadero: It’s a 1 star hotel
Rooms are terrible and the food is a disaster to be honest . I ll never go back to this hotel or to Cuba .we ll never go back to this crap. The staff is very rude only the pool bar staff was nice and Dunia and Daynelys are amazing . The habana pool restaurant Godddddd if you want 2 plates of Fries they ll give you 1 or they ll forget about you ... just to say it’s a lie it’s a 5 stars .be careful
Melia Jardines del Rey: NiceResort
Nice resort. Grounds and public restrooms kept really clean. Stayed in building 19 close to the beach. The room attendend cleaning our room was very friendly and kept room spotless. Beach was amazing lots of chairs available. Buffet has lots of choices to choose from. Went to 4 a la carts all good. Servers and staff are awesome and work hard to help your stay be memorable. Bring fly spray lots of mosquitoes up at lobby at night time . All in all great place to go and relax.
