Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing family resort

Amazing family resort. So much to do. good food and great service. Very good night shows. Pool and great restaurants are beautiful. Great water park and a lot activities for kids. I would definitely come back to this resort again

The resort seemed new and was very clean. One of the better resorts I have been to in the Dominican. We stayed on the ground level but it was not too noisy. Would definitely be visiting again in the future.

Can’t say enough good things about the quality of this wonderful service and how we enjoyed this resort.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Tropic jungle paradise on an island!

Beautiful resort, Very well appointed rooms, either in the main 5 floors hotel or villas The villas are better option , bigger rooms, most of them with ocean view The resort itself is an amazing tropical jungle like setting 2 large pools are well surrounded by lots of beds There are 3 beaches 1 is very wild and windy, great for jumping waves 1 is shallow and calm , great for kids And one is an amazing beach- Bacardi beach, large , with plenty of shades and beds The food excellent qua [... read more]lity and well cooked and served The liquor is plentiful, but they stop serving at 11 pm...and guests have to pay extra for top shelf liquor. Everything about this resort is top notch, but the evening entertainment ment is very poor and the nightife non existent The local disco is dead....no one there..

The rooms were stunning but unfortunately they don’t tell you what your view is till you get there and we were facing the staff area so it was loud with trucks and yelling. I still had a great time the pool staff and the aquamarine lobby staff was very patient and nice except one bartender talked poorly of my boyfriend because he couldn’t speak Spanish but I understood and so did the Spanish couple beside me. Also the beach is not adults only so that was disappointing when you paid for an adults only resort. 3/5 stars

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Amazing, beautiful clean esort

Stayed at “El Portillo” Grand Bahia Principe resort for 7 nights last week of June 2019. The most amazing beach with calm turquoise crystal clear water with refreshing ocean breeze.Food and service amazing, entertainment fabulous some nights. Housekeeping very loud and chatty in the hallways at all times during their working hours, however I would definitely consider coming back to this resort since the service was always done with a smile and great disposition.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Unforgettable

Al a carte restaurants were amazing, some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Very welcoming environment and great atmosphere. Buffet food was repetitive but the staff was very good at changing spices and creating traditional dishes according to the cuisine theme of the night. Overall a little crowed but that was expected because it is a HUGE resort. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Super Nice!

If you love food, and don't mind putting a few pounds this is the place! I've never seen so much good food and varieties in all my travelling, especially if you love fish! You'll find all types of fish everyday! I went for the first time with my parents and 2.5 year old daughter, I wanted water like Cuba and food like Punta Cana and this has both. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing resort!

Very good service, comfortable rooms, excellent dinning, awesome ground, nice pools for kids and adults, shows for kids were absolutely funny, people are very kind and nice. The only thing was a bus delay going back to the airport and made us run to much, we did not have time for anything.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Wonderful Honeymoon

We had a wonderful 14 day honeymoon in a swim up suite. Great state, great coffee shop, wonderful food and atmosphere! Would return again! The managers and staff were so friendly and the rooms were modern and well cleaned. We loved every second of our stay. Thank you so much!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Awesome!

Could not be happier! The whole experience was exceptional! It was only a couple hundred dollars more expensive than Cuba. But would easily pay $1000 more knowing now just how much better Grand Bahia Principe is.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Above average resort

The grounds were kept in immaculate shape. Pool area clean. Buffet restaurant great staff, food above average, very clean. Customer service staff, hit and miss. WiFi difficult to connect to. Beach area very nice, but first time in 15 years that we have been going to this resort had a lot of seaweed. Resort is becoming restrictive as to how to move around to different locations. Not interested in recognizing repeat customers unless you book directly with them.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Horrible service and experience!!!

I'm here now at the Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana. I think this is the worst resort I have ever been to. Horrible service in the buffet restaurants. Food is never being replenished and if it is, you need to wait so long. Yesterday basically nothing was at breakfast I had to stand and wait for eggs, for the guy to make more pancakes and crepes. It was very frustrating. No waiter comes to your table to ask what you would like to drink. You have to wave someone down to finally get a drink and the [... read more]n wait at least 20 minutes until they finally show up with your drink. Housekeeping never swept my room or changed my cups. I had to ask for clean cups in my room and for more water and had to complain so someone can sweep. There is no train to bring you to the snack bar that is over 10-15 mins walk from the lobby at night. Supposedly the snack bar is 24 hours but the train isnt so how do we get there? We saw some young group of drunk girls. They came from the snack bar and could hardly walk and the reception told them that they will not drive them back to their resort which was at the Aquamarine. So the resort is not worried for any of the tourists safety. Overall I'm very disappointed. Yesterday I went out for dinner with my kids off the resort because we are tired of no selection of food and all the food always being empty!!! I hope the issue gets fixed fast because we would like to enjoy the remainder of our vacation on the resort instead of having to leave the resort to enjoy ( which we are doing again all day today) we got no reservations for the a la carte as they were all full. When I called guest services from my room they kept hanging up on me. Overall experience here is horrible and we will never return. Also, my whole family of 9 people all had upset stomachs throughout the trip and other travellers which tells me the water is not filtered or the food is no good.

Literally the best resort we’ve been to! Such a pleasure. Staff was amazing, food was amazing, entertainment was amazing! The resort is new and clean and everything is well organized so we are extremely happy and will definitely return. No complaints at all! The only thing is we wish we could’ve stayed longer! 1 week here is not enough.

A few hiccups early in our stay... But then amazing as ever Great Hotel and great friendly people who bend over backwards to help! The beaches were super clean and great new bar hut at the beach ..Also a new bbq near pool and food on the beach Ty Judy

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Nice but noisy

The hotel is lovely but because it is small you can hear the entertainment in your room. Really loud in fact. If you don’t enjoy watching it and like to go to sleep before 11:30 this is not the place. The beach and pool areas were not crowded The food was good Took four hours on a bus to get there

The resort is small, but very beautiful everything is close by, only problem is there is alot of stairs to go to the beach, the restaurants the pool, you can't avoided,but that's how the resort is built, great for people with no health problems,while we were there on our third day l got very sick, from something l ate, it was terrible, we have been going away every year for 12 years, and never gotten sick,3 days later l had to see the doctor since l couldn't eat or drink much,and right awayl was [... read more] told there was going to be a extra charge, if it was their food that l ate, why did l have to pay,good thing we always travel with insurance other wise the doctor would not treat me, that's something they need to improve on, taking care of their clients should be top priority especially if the're at fault.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Experience of a lifetime!

My wife and I stayed from June 17-24th in Villa 1, room 1104. It was an amazing trip from start to finish thanks to all the amazing staff! Pedrito and Wander were absolutely amazing throughout our stay and we can't thank them enough for their kindness and friendship. Manuel our security guard at the public beach access was always smiling and happy to see you. The beach and pool servers Angel, Eduardo, and Erickson were all excellent and funny guys to talk with while making sure you were always being attended to. The lifeguard Yoemarvin was very impressive and extremely helpful and kind with all the guests at the beach pool, and was especially focused watching the children. Our room service staff Jennifer, Alexandra, and Santa were amazing and always cleaning and bringing fresh towels. The butler Jose was always available if needed and didn't impose. The lobby bartender Walky made some of the best drinks I've ever had, and servers Manuary and Gabriel were very fun, courteous guys that had great personalities. We loved the location of Villa 1 since it was centrally located and allowed us to enjoy every inch of the island including Barcardi beach for amazing snorkeling, the beach pool, and the resort's 2 private beaches. We enjoyed that Barcardi beach's bar was only open to hotel guests after 11pm and although not many people were able to stay up after so much fun and sun, we got to know how amazing Wander and Pedrito are and they made sure that we couldn't wait to go back every night we were there! Our room was amazing. We preferred the privacy that the balcony had to offer from Villa 1. The air conditioning was working great and there were 2 separate controls, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. We had as much hot water as needed! The food was always good at the buffet and the restaurants. There was always a wide selection to choose from even for the pickiest of eaters. Jose working the grill was willing to make anything for you just the way you wanted it done. Excellent service from all servers and a special smile for Omal who explained he wasnt following us we were following him around the island from restaurant to restaurant. The trip was a memory of a lifetime. Romantic, relaxing and fun! We can't wait to return to spend time with some of the nicest people we have met in our travels. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent resort.

The grounds was well manicure. Room was a 4*. Service was excellent and restaurant was ok. The best alacart was Italian and Japanese. Some improvements can be done in lobby washrooms. Staff was very goof and helpful.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: The Bahai Principe Aquamarine, Punta Cana

Everything was great, the food and the hotel, the staff was very helpful when asked. Drinks were good and all the Al a cartes were excellent. Getting to the beach you had to take a choo choo which wasn't usually a problem there was a lot cartes but sometimes they would get tied up and had to wait for 10 minutes or more.
