Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Lindo never fails

This is our 5th stay at Lindo and it will not be our last. We have been to many other resorts in the Mayan Riviera and while most of the others were nice we have never returned to them. Lindo is part of the Iberostar Paraiso Resort Complex, there are five resorts in the complex, and Lindo is the middle of the five. We feel that Lindo gives you the most bang for our buck. The food is great, after you have done severa [... read more]l Caribbean and Mexican resorts you come to realize that the quality of food is very different from one resort to the other. The resort is a very safe place so there is no worry about walking around at night or early in the morning. Also there are not people on the beach driving you crazy trying to sell you their local wares. Unlike most resort chains Iberostar does not have people harassing you to buy time shares or join clubs, these are offered but only if you show an interest. The only thing that I can say at all negative is about the evening shows. These shows have not changed in the past five years. While the rock show is great this is mainly because of the guitarist who is the real star of the show. I would like to see all of the other shows given an update. I would love to be given the job to select new music for all the shows. If you have never been here before you will enjoy the shows but if you are a returning guest it becomes a little boring. The entertainment team has completely changed this year, and they are very energetic. Also the resort has been doing some renovations which are great, the beach bar and snack bar are both redone, and there is now a 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby area. I can't say enough good things about Lindo and I am looking forward to going back

Hotel Mojito: Great value

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Nice rooms (rain shower head and good patio door locking system). Food was good - good selection of salad bar items, carving station at dinner, pasta bar, stir fry at dinner... Snacks were somewhat limited in choice between meals but pizza was tasty. Lobby area nice (would prefer non-smoking area but that's hard to come by in Cuba lol). Cigar lounge was enjoyable with Freddie the bartender looking after us well and a fun band. Lots of palapas at beach, less shade options at the pool. Great staff overall.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beautiful Beaches and Amazing staff

My happy place for the third time but a horrible rude encounter with the female Cuban Manager because I expected late check out privileges as in the past....I will be writing a detailed account to the general manager on a later date.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing staff!

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at Iberostar Daiquiri. The resort is a bit tired but a great value nonetheless. The food was good and we enjoyed the Mexican and Italian restaurants. The beach was amazing and you never had a problem getting lounger chairs. The staff at this resort are the best! So friendly and accommodating! The synchronized swimmers pool show was fantastic. Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Top notch resort

Amazing resort, with top quality food Its very big and spread out though, so be prepared to walk a lot (or take the golf carts) Excellent gym facility also - we loved to start our day off with a spin class

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Iberostar Paraiso Beach

We love Iberostar Paraiso Beach. This was our fourth trip to the complex; three to paraiso beach and one to paraiso del mar. We have always been pleased, hence our four visits. We were not impressed by Sunwing airlines. The seats were too tightly packed and they ran out of food on the way down. Ground crew taking us to our hotel were very efficient.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Very Quaint and Relaxing Resort!!

the Hotels charm was the Staff and the Eaze of learning the ins /outs .. We had a Fab Time ! Small , but very good . you got to know much of the Staff .. we only went for 5 Days , but long enough to provide a Great Time !! Close to Varadero and Havana Tour was Awesome!!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Iberostar Paraiso Maya

A very beautiful, spacious resort shared with 3 other sister hotels. The grounds are lush green and well taken cared by the staff, so many pools to be enjoyed by all ages including a wave pool for the kids.Our bedroom was amazing, the sheer size and we had a shower and tub in our bathroom. The little fridge was restocked daily with bottled water, pop and beer. There is 6 hotel blocks with rooms and each block had its own concierge desk to help visitors with issues. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Great family resort

The hotel was visually very attractive.Our rooms were spacious with a beautiful ocean view. The large tub was tricky to get into and took some care to manoeuvre a safe entry and exit. Cleaning service was excellent everyday. The kiddie pools were lovely and great for our 2 year old grandson. The Olympic pools were enjoyed also. Now for food.That was a little disappointing. The main buffet was held up at different stations with people lining up to get omelettes, stir fries and toast.Not enough p [... read more]eople on board to handle the demand for fresh cooked food. None of the food was labelled. For myself, with lactose and gluten allergies, it was particularly difficult to choose something to eat that would be safe for me. Buffet personnel had no clue what gluten was. There seemed to be no itinerary in sight for the day’s activities.Booking specialty restaurants was really time consuming as one lady was doing all the bookings for that big hotel all by herself.Sometimes people would wait 1 1/2 or more hours to get a booking.Those restaurants were great and worth the wait.Lastly, the elevators did not work properly the whole week.Only one ever worked. Once again, you had to wait 5-10 mins to get it to do down to the ground floor. It was difficult for people with walkers, canes and suitcases. Overall, the weather made the visit worthwhile. Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Wonderful week at Playa Alameda!

This was our second time at this resort and we loved it just as much the second time as we did the first. Great beach and lots of beach chairs. Loved the buffet restaurant, we had a great variety of foods and the servers were wonderful, always attentive and ready with water, wine or whatever we needed at the table.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Vacation

This was our first time in Cuba and while I can't say everything was perfect we would certainly not have any reservations about returning to this lovely resort. The beaches were spectacular with fine sand and plenty of room for lounging or walking, whatever you want to do. The food was not always exceptional but it was plentiful and we could always find something to eat. The room was extremely large and the cleaning staff kept everything in top shape. The hotel grounds are well manicured and ver [... read more]y large. I would definitely not recommend this resort for anyone with mobility problems but we enjoyed the walking. We did not do any of the offered excursions and the fact that the resort is isolated was just perfect for relaxing. All in all an excellent vacation.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Exceeded Expectations

A beautiful resort. Meticulously clean. Beautiful pools and gorgeous beaches. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The buffet was creative and always fresh. The alacarte restaurants were very good, as well. There were no crowds around the pool. This may have been because we went the second week in January, which is traditionally a quiet time for the resort. A perfect vacation. We will be going back.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: CUBA 2019

Beautiful resort, lot's of renovations completed since our visit last year such as Marine restaurant opened and larger patio area around the pool area. We were disappointed at check in. We advised that we were REPEAT customers and the only request we asked for was a King size bed. We were assigned a room with 2 double beds and had to wait for a NEW room with a King bed. Customer requests should be reviewed prior to arrival to the resort.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beautiful relaxing resort

This was our third visit to this resort. Nothing bad to report other than the lack of wash clothes, peanut butter and breads. I will certainty go back. The staff is amazing, the grounds are beautiful and the spa/adult section is peaceful

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Incredible Vacation

The Iberostar RoseHall Beach Resort and their staff are incredible! we had a fantastic time with a perfect mix of relaxing and great entertainment. Food was great, with great variety- the chefs and wait staff always there to answer questions. Entertainment crew was SO MUCH FUN offering a little something for everyone *my only suggestion would be for them to maybe "post" what they have going on- because its so much and easy to miss something you want to do!* The drinks were delicious! (huge shou [... read more]t out to Anthony at the deepblue pool bar for keeping us topped up and having some fun conversations) The beach was crystal clear and we were able to walk between the three iberostar resorts and in my opinion the "beach resort" definitely had the BEST , clearest beach! all in all it was a great week of sun and fun and will definitely reccomend to friends and family! the only dissapointments we had was construction while we were there and although it could be loud at times we were intrigued to see what they were doing! and the wait staff on the pool deck often did not bring us our drinks requested- but the other bars are within a very short vacinity so easy to get our own.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Very Nice Resort

We booked Prestige Swim Out and were not disappointed. We were originally in 10037 however the sun did not hit the pool/room until after 2 pm so we asked to be moved to another room. We were moved to room 10028 which was perfect for location and sun. The hotel, our room, the grounds, beach are very clean and well maintained. The people who work there are very welcoming and accommodating. The Service from the front desk to housekeeping, dinning, entertainment experience to ground [... read more]s keepers all made for an enjoyable vacation. We are already planning next year for 2 weeks. Others did have issues with hot water and flooding which was not in our building. We have to understand that Cuba does not have the resources of our country and under the circumstances they handled these issues very well using the resources that they had. This was the BEST! we have experienced in Cuba.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort for sure

My husband and I travelled to this resort from feb 1-8 2019. We have never been to this resort but been to Cuba many many times. We had a very pleasant stay. We booked an oceanview room which was very nice. Our beds were so soft and comfortable, the pillows were also very nice other than I find them huge as they are double size, but still very soft. So we were pleasantly surprised at the great beds and pillows at this place. Our fridge was topped up daily and we always got a big bottle of water which was great. Our room was nice and clean along with the whole resort. Gardeners are doing a beautiful job at keeping the place looking fabulous. The food was good. Lots to pick from at the buffet. We booked the steak el- cart one and the steak was so tender and done perfect. Usually I order medium rare but I feel they don’t cook the meat long enough so we ordered them med well and they were perfect. Very tasty too The staff was all very polite and happy to help you. The beaches of course are always great. Nice sand in this are. There was lots of lounge chairs and Palapas to get some shade if you wanted too. The beach in this area was very large so lots of room. There was never any seaweed on the beach either. We had perfect weather everyday. Not a drop of rain , sunny and temp in the 82* range. We don’t sit around the pool but lots of room there as well and the pools were sparkling clean so well taken care of. The pool had the betterloingeea which isn’t really fair aa we don’t sit at pool. So we had the hard loungers. I don’t have anything bad to say about the resort except it could use more sitting places in the lobby area and also cut the smoking insidecopletely out. There was lots of places out side to smoke and lots of chairs. I think they are trying to stop the smoking inside as they don’t have ashtrays but people still sat inside and smoked and they would put ashes on the floors. Which is extremely rude. I couldn’t believe people actually do this. I felt bad for the people working there who had to clean up after them. Other than that the resort was wonderful and we would consider going back again. They had some very good entertainment every night for an hour. The preformers did a great job. We really like the romantic night and the rock and roll bands. Lots of entertainment going on all day as well. Great resort I defiantly recommend this place.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Smokers Resort

If you are nonsmoker do not go to this resort. It's small resort no lineups people are nice food is okay same everyday. Entertainment was not not that great. Beautiful beach just got back. It was very cold so make sure you take sweaters for the evening. Give gifts like clothing to the maid and chef and they will do anything for you.Cubans are beautiful people but go 5 star at Cuba. I nspite of all this we had fun and enjoyed the beautiful Cuban beach must go.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: AWESOME RESORT!

This resort was amazing and so much fun. The food at the a la carte restaurants, the buffets and the snacks at the beach were all wonderful. The taco shop at the on resort shopping plaza was so good! The grounds were well maintained and the staff were all friendly and accommodating.We went on three excursions and they were also amazing. The staff were so knowledgeable and fun.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Wonderful time and wonderful resort

My family of 3 stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana from Jan 30 to Feb 7th. Our second time at an Iberostar and we expected good quality and service. And we got it. This hotel/resort is always so clean and well kept. The staff are always working so hard to keep everyone happy, satisfied and not wanting for anything. They are sooo amazing and always have a smile on their faces. The beach is amazing and clean. The pools are similarly clean and well kept. We always found a place to sit or la [... read more]y down our stuff. I also have to say that all the bathrooms were always clean, functioning and well stocked with paper products.... The gardens are so wonderfully manicured and beautiful. We used the gym facilities and can't say enough of them. Everything was just top notch and I think we all had a great vacation. A shout out to Yera, Bruno Mars and all the entertainment group. They were always 'on' and always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves....Finally, the food was good and there was always variety. The only negative I would say is that there are vendors on the beach that keep wanting to sell stuff. But if you say no thank you, or ignore them, then they move on. We would definitely return to this place, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you to all at the Iberostar Dominicana.
