Riu Palace Jamaica: Great Adult Resort

This resort is one of the best we have been to. Five minutes from the airport; great food, excellent entertainment; very friendly staff; rooms always immaculately clean. We will definitely go back. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Very nice resort!

Beautiful beach for swimming and snorkling. Food was very good. Grounds are well maintained and clean. Entertainment was ok. Beautiful spacious rooms and very comfortable. Would definitely go again and would recommend.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Amazing resort beautiful grounds friendly staff excellent food five *room everything that you ever need creek balcony view top notch linens and towels I love the room spacious very clean.From arrival at the reception was very very friendly arm first impression was really good all the staff are wonderful I was very very pleased with my stay although it was short and sweet this time I hope I’ll be back for a longer visit in the future

The hotel is beautiful the grounds are luxurious beautiful view of the sea everything was beautiful breathtaking.The second day I did a tour off the hotel I worked out at the state of the art gym magnificent I did to spinning class the trainer was wonderful the next day I also did a power walk early in the morning and after I did my work out on my own really terrific equipments. JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing Resort

This Place is a little piece of heaven it is so amazing. I will not forget the treatment we received while here, from the Butler to the Concierge and staff they all made sure we had an amazing trip. Olivia at the front was AWESOME always greeted us with a SMILE and asked how are day was going. The two Gentlemen that checked us in were also AMAZING they made us laugh and smile the whole time. This resort is so clean the grounds staff were out at 5am when I was on my balcony early morning I would see everyone cleaning the grounds so well. we will definitely be back to Iberostar Grand/ Suites and will recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Jamaica.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Wonderful place!

This resort was excellent. The beach was amazing with lots of different sea creatures to see. The food was excellent as well as the service. Hotel was also very clean. It is worth the bit of a drive from the airport.

Sunscape Splash: Relaxing Holiday

Sunscape Splash offers lots to do ! great for families... always something to do! Very clean rooms, and the ocean view was perfect! Easy to get around. a la carte restaurants were very good, buffet was repetitive, but why complain when I still didn’t have to cook! Don’t expect a long walking beach but it’s excellent for Snorkeling and the area is popular for sailing, kayaking etc. I feel it’s Very good value for your $. Close to the airport for those who hate long travel times

Couples Tower Isle: Much less than expected

The reviews for this resort were great so I had high expectations. I was very disappointed with our stay. For 2200$ per person for a basic room I expected working light bulbs, access to my room, ice, water and beverages! Stayed at Couples Tower Isle Nov 25-Dec 2 The cons: -room light burnt out, no bulbs available entire week -frequent power outages day 1 -door lock broke, locked out of room x 2hours day 2 -elevators broke 2 days of trip -soda machines empty x2 days -water fountains [... read more] jack hammered out of the walls on day 4, not repaired -ice machine broke 1 day -hair dryer broke on arrival, this was replaced -room service spilled coffee in room on day 2, they removed the soiled pillows and floor mats and linens but never replaced the pillows or mats. Never cleaned or changed the soiled curtain with 4ft coffee stain The pros: beach and water sports were amazing, staff were friendly and I didn’t feel pressure to tip. Food was good but service was a mix of good bad and so-so Overall the daily issues with the resort made it difficult to relax and enjoy my vacation. I would not recommend this resort and do not plan to return. I have had much better experiences with other all inclusives for half the cost.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: It was not what one would expect for a riu palace 5 star

Resort was immaculatey clean,staff very efficient. Found this resort lacking in many areas though,no sports bar,24 hr snack shack lacking in variety of food and what they did offer was bland and not apetitizing .Our room had an odd odor that was not pleasant but hard to identify. Food was okay but not fantastic for a 5 star and for what we paid and expected. Hard to enjoy the beach because it was full of people trying to sell u ‘party packs,anything u needed to needed to feel good they had itâ [... read more]€™ every 5 min u were approached,very annoying and felt the hotel did little to stop it, this is the major reason I would not go back or recommend it among all the other things I have listed

Catalonia Montego Bay: HOLIDAY INN RESORT RECENT TRIP.

Review on my recent visit at the Holiday Inn resort in Montego Bay Jamaica. Excellent service from bar tenders, at the buffet etc.... However, I will not go back to this hotel for the simple reason there is nothing in the fridge at drink not even a bottle of water. The beach is full or slimy weeds not clean and sandy. For me I will consider a 3 star hotel.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: A rare gem that has it all ..if Hip-hop and Rap were banned

This was our 3rd visit to Jamaica and the first in Negril. The reviews for Royalton Negril met our expectations for price, beach, hotel and room comfort & upkeep, food and service. For the first time in a decade we were not disappointed with any of the above! We had finally found a beach resort with genuine white sand stone free beach with pretty good snorkeling stretch along the rock face north of the beach. Price was most competitive of the mid-luxury resorts and gave you better value. 2. Speedy reception which actually commenced while on the bus ride to the resort! 3. Great hotel with a fantastic panoramic view of the bay from the huge lounge area on the 1st level. 4. Food is excellent no matter where you go.No reservation is required for the restaurants with exception of Zen (Japanese). Resort even has a Sports bar that serves Pub style food! 5. Our room on level 2 was large, modern and clean with comfortable beds, a Jacuzzi bath and a fantastic view of the bay! 6. White sand beach along the entire bay. Swim all day - No low tide effect - absolute heaven!! 7. Nexus Tours at the Hotel also does Scuba excursions from the hotel. Although I hope they improve the diving experience with seasoned dive masters. 8. Front desk and customer service was great. 9. My sincere thanks to David (Hideaway Front desk), Madonna (Guest Services), Keisha (Travel Smart) and Oraldo the singing cowboy (Buffet) who in their own way made our stay even better! The staff at all of the restaurants were friendly and always helpful. Cons: Not much was lacking at this resort apart from.. 1. One and a half hour ride to the resort (but worth the travel)! 2. My biggest biff? Gangsta Hip hop and rap music which seemed to make the place cheap and nasty whenever it was being blasted out for long lengths of time from the pool and beach areas!! made us want to take off from the resort. 3. I could not understand why there was VERY little, if any, Reggae or Latin American music both of which genres are well enjoyed by ALL ages!! ....

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Absolutely Wonderful

The resort was flawless, the grounds were beautiful, the public areas were all kept very very clean. Lobby had a great musician who played piano. The music and entertainment was for all ! The beach was well kept, the massages were great. The food.... oh my gosh the food was the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive!! Fresh, lobster, scallops, sushi, grilled shrimp and that’s just the buffet!

GreatLocation hotel needs upgrade customer service good the buffet food needs improvement the specialty restaurant food great room need to renovate overall for the price a good place to enjoy a vacation

Couples Negril: Great to Return to Couples Negril

This was our 6th time at Couples Negril, and one of our best vacations here so far. They have done some noticeable upgrades to the resort which was a nice bonus and we are already looking at booking our next vacation for early 2019. The food was great, the staff we very helpful and friendly once again, and it didn't hurt that we had an exceptional week of sunshine. See you soon!

Pool was beautiful.. that was about it The service was brutal.. the food was horrible expect for the buffets. The Male staff were awesome and friendly but the females were basically miserable the entire time. Any time we asked for help, we always felt as though we were a nuisance.(and I am a female writing this) We got stuck in an elevator twice, one time it was about 15 minutes and the other my boyfriend was alone and had to pry the doors open by himself. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great stay

I really enjoyed my stay there, food was great, hotel is right on the beach, lots of entertainment and all the staff were nice and friendly. Some rooms that overlook the disco may be a little noisy so if you dont like to party a lot maybe ask for a room on the other side.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Awesome Resort

Just returned from the Zilara after 7 amazing days. I can't say enough about the resort starting with the Staff. I can honestly say I have never better staff at any of the resorts I have ever been to. They were all so nice, friendly and accommodating. They definitely aim to please and any way they can help you enjoy your stay, they do their best to. The pool was awesome and the daily entertainment was very interactive and fun. The Resort's entertainment staff were really great and did a gr [... read more]eat job getting the guests engaged. The food was great and there was plenty to choose from and several restaurants. The Hobi Cat boat rides were really nice and we were fortunate enough that the dolphins were right by our boat and were playfull so a bonus to see that. We also went out in the kayak which was fun. The rooms were nice and clean and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool as well as the ocean. I would highly recommend the Zilara. It is also nice that Montego Bay airport is so close so you don't spend half your time travelling to and from.

Riu Palace Jamaica: 1st class

An amazing exclusive resort with updated rooms. The food was a fantastic delicious variety. The grounds were immaculate with perfectly manicured beaches. We have been to Jamacia 12 times and would recommend RIU PALACE anytime. The staff are 5 star people. They not only look after you but get to know you. 💘

Excellence Oyster Bay: Really nice

Great service. Amazing beach. Really nice hotel. I would highly recommended this resort. We love Jamaica. The sand is white and wonderful to walk on. 5 star hotel. Good for couples. Lots of honeymooners. Only 39 minutes from the airport. The food was outstanding

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Lovely resort, great location

Resort was quite nice. Rooms were very simple, clean and comfortable, including the king bed. Only bedside tables and a closet for clothes. No coffee maker in room, but I travel with a tea and a kettle :) Note that the coffee bar is not open for early risers. Balcony door never closed or locked properly but since we were on the third floor it wasn't really a concern for us. All rooms oceanfront which was amazing, but if you want sun you have to book a room with a higher number - we were in 1 [... read more]309 and never had sun on the balcony - need to go to the other side of the hotel. All the hotel staff were great - friendly, helpful and they all worked hard. Food was the one thing that wasn't fabulous at the resort. There were not a lot of choices available, and food was not topped up when it was empty. Found the buffet at the Montego Bay was better than at Cornwall Beach. Both a la carte restaurants had nice meals, but had a bit of difficulty booking them -- closed on certain days and booked. Can only book it the day you want to have dinner. You won't starve, but if you are used to going to larger resorts with many food choices, be aware that you won't get that here. Enjoyed a different drink of the day every day at the bar. Didn't like that on several days most beach chairs were reserved with towels and couldn't get a spot at the beach at 8 am ... had to go to the pool and move to the beach later once something available. You can go the beach at the other property but it is not nearly as nice and does not have good access. Other property does have swim up bar however. Hotel close to airport - just 5 minutes away, and on the Hip Strip. Not much on it but touristy stuff - not a lot of choice of places to stop somewhere for a meal and a beer. Usain Bolt's restaurant right next door. Enjoyed a drink there while looking at all his memorabilia and a massive curved television at the bar. We had a wonderful holiday at Cornwall Beach. A week of rest, relaxation, swimming and great weather. We weren't looking for a party vacation, so the hotel suited us fine. Much smaller hotel than what we are used to, so might be good choice for some, but not for others. May recommend the hotel depending on what you are looking for in your vacation.
