Excellence Playa Mujeres: Amazing Resort - Amazing Staff

This resort has found the best people to work here. Always smiling, making you feel special. We were spoiled with attention! Have never been to a resort where I would remember staffs name. Edgar & Carlos at the Excellence pool were friendly and amazing. Sandra, Daniel & Thomas in the Excellence lounge made you feel like part of the family. Best vacation ever. This is a many return resort...can't wait!

Excellence Playa Mujeres: There's Filet Mignon and Hamburger

Third time at this resort and it only gets better or should I say Excellent! Only one word to explain this place "WOW". If you want to fall in love, stay in love don't miss out on this one. Moon Palace Cancun: Never disappointing

Second vacation here and only getting better. Great facilities for kids (and lots of space given size of resort). Recent addition of free bicycles to get around resort is awesome, just grab one from a rack and drop off near where you want to go, saves tons of time walking around to various restaurants or waiting for a lobby bus.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Really satisfied with the hotel resort

The hotel had amazing grounds not too large. Very easy to access all the areas including the three pools. The rooms were clean and quite large and all had balconies. The resort offered fantastic food including restaurants. I was impressed with the buffet. so many options to choose from but above all each and every dish was delicious! This is my third time at this resort and each and every time I go I am more and more impressed The beach is so comfortable and easy to access from the resort. I'm happy to report that this year they've included umbrellas on the beautiful white sand beach which is a huge bonus Again the service is impeccable and I would like to see more travellers tipping. It's really sad to see that many do not considering the impeccable service

Occidental Costa Cancun: Great vacation

The hotel was very clean. When we arrived it was very beautiful to look at. Then we checked in and the ladies who checked us in was very kind. It was quick to check in. I was there for 7 days and it was great. Great food and staff made my whole trip enjoyable!

The Pyramid Cancun: Great resort !

So many choices for dining, a fabulous beach, and something for everyone in entertainments. The quality of service in the a la carte restaurants is very good. The aerial show (in the main lobby) is excellent - a lot like Cirque de Soleil.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Good place for a comfortable stay.

This was our second stay this year (2016) at this hotel. Its very central and safe location is what has appealed to us very much. It is a medium size resort, located right on a very nice beach with the easiest possible access to public or private transportation. We have used public buses often and have very positive experience. Riu Palace Peninsula: Amazing.

Hotel was excellent and Every one was pleasant to deal with and service was pretty good. We all being vegetarian the the choices and quality of food was great. We enjoyed the other amenities like lobby, pool and beach. The place is very neat and clean. The rooms were excellent with ocean views.

Moon Palace Cancun: Great Trip

Hotel was very clean and rooms we beautiful. Fantastic service from everyone. The food was great. Sunrise side was not open due to a conference and would have liked to try the restaurants there. Great resort and would go back and highly recommend

I want to begin by saying the people and direct staff were very friendly, and accommodating, the servers were welcoming and wonderful. I found the resort too large, very disorganized and very fragmented and the service was average. There seemed to be a disconnect of communication between the three hotels within Moon Palace that often lead to much frustration . Sometimes my room was cleaned other days it was not, sometimes I received clean towels and others day I did not. Beach Palace: Had a great time! Very Relaxing!

The Beach Palace was a very nice clean resort and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff are great! They are always smiling and very pleasant, always asking how our stay was? Rafael, in the Wok Restaurant, was always smiling and engaging. We enjoyed the Wok, Terrace Grill and the Buffet, however, Bocelli's, I thought was under par and could be improved on. My wife had one of the best cuts off meat ever at the terrace. You could have cut it with a butter knife :). Excellence Playa Mujeres: Excellence @ Excellence

We spent 7 nights at this amazing resort and would highly recommend it to everyone. The service, food, beach, drinks were all awesome. We had a small problem with our jacuzzi and they needed to work on it for a few hours so they gave us a 1h40 free session at the spa! We will be returning here for sure.

Moon Palace Cancun: Great stay!

The hotel was well maintained and beautiful. The only thing we didn't care for is the size of the resort, we like smaller resorts...not as much walking! The food was great and the rooms were lovely.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Good value

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. Overall, we had good time there and were quite happy with the service, food selection, pool condition and entertainment provided at the location. However the second night I realized there were cockroaches in our room. I complained and we were upgraded to a very clean room with a terrace and a nice view over the resort. Moon Palace Cancun: Perfect spot for a destination wedding

Moon palace was did an amazing job hosting our friends wedding. The hotel was a great place for families to spend the week and the wedding was well organized with stunning scenery. All the resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I loved our stay!

Riu Palace Peninsula: Rui Palace Peninsula

We really enjoyed our stay at this great 5 star hotel. We bought it as a last minute trip but it was all the bells and whistles. Friendly staff, great food in the Buffett and other restaurants. The room was superb and terrific view of the ocean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Fantastic Resort!

6 ladies in our group stayed at this resort to celebrate 3 of us who turned 60. The resort is beautiful, and we felt completely safe. I loved that there was lots to do, and the Recreational staff are a hoot! Many of us tried the yoga and Pilates classes on the beach gazebo first thing in the morning, which was so peaceful, not to mention a darn good workout! We did the bicycle tour, which was really nice, and beginner level. We saw monkeys and got to hold a baby crocodile & exotic birds. Rooms lovely, and we were spoiled by all staff. Meals were lovely, and it was nice not to have to reserve tables. There were plenty of beach lounges around the pool area & on beach with umbrella's for shade. Our plane was delayed 2 hours in Toronto, so our ocean view rooms that we paid extra for had been booked to other customers by the time we arrived, but the hotel manager, Enrique, took care of this by assigning us to premium rooms for the first night, and moving our bags the next day to the rooms we booked while we carried on with our day. He showed up daily to check in with us and make sure that all was satisfactory, even ensuring we had good tables at restaurants. Don't forget to do tequila tasting, & sushi making classes at pool. Dianna will crack you up big time!

Moon Palace Cancun: Wonderful Resort

Really nice sized rooms and everything worked perfectly. Outdoor washrooms were well kept. Deluxe room balconies are a nice size and we were fortunate enough to have a partial ocean view. Restaurant food was quite good and quick, there was always someone there asking you if you need anything. We loved the brand of coffee they served. It was well worth making a reservation at the golf course for the two restaurants there, they were superior. Unfortunately, there was a bit of seaweed but it wasn't bad & it didn't prevent us from going in the ocean. I would return tomorrow if I could!

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort, especially for families with children

Stayed for 10 days in November. Everything was great, especially amenities for children. Though the sea was rough most of the time, still enjoyed the beach. For swimming pool lovers, there are several nice pools on different levels... The staff is exceptionally helpful, hospitable and friendly. Excellence Playa Mujeres: Excellence almost at its best

We have been travelling to different adult only, gourmet all inclusive resorts for 5 years We mainly have stayed around Playa Del Carmen or so. It is our first time at the EPM. Our first impression was that the service is indeed, excellent. After 11 days, we are still happy with the service we got every single day. Gwendoline, our efficient and so very nice concierge, Daniel, Wilson, Alejandro and all of our regular waiters, as well as all the ladies welcoming us to the multiple restaurants w [... read more]ere fantastic and very helpful. As for the food, it is very good. Not excellent, but very good. We found the plates to be very generous (maybe too generous) and tasteful. I have a food allergy and the staff has been able to accommodate me in the best possible ways. We have been to El Dorado Royale, and we found the food there to be better than EPM. Despite not be3ing excellent, if it is gourmet you are looking for, EMP will meet your expectations. The beach is fabulous compared to other Mexican resorts. The sand is white, there is no rocks and only on one day, did we have a hard time finding some shades and chairs. Otherwise, there is no need to make early towel reservations, which can be so annoying sometimes. As for the pools, there are plenty of them, with lots of chairs and some beds. Some pools are very quiet, where you can completely relax without any music to be heard, where two of them have activities and music. So you can find the mood that will suit you best, on any given day. The rooms are very spacious. The bed is a bit hard, so we ended up asking for a bed mat and we also requested nicer pillows from the pillows selection. Each regular room has a relaxing bed on the balcony, as well as a roomy couch and a jacuzzi bathtub. We never spent so much time just relaxing in the bedroom and on our balcony. That is how nice the room is. Room service is efficient. The menu is somewhat limited and the food is not very tasteful. Unless you really do not want to get out, we suggest you have lunch either at the Toscana or at the lobster house. We are early sleepers and this is where our issues were with the hotel. On our first night, we were given a room on the third floor of the 7th building. The view was fantastic and we were happy. However, at night, we quickly realized that our room would be VERY Noisy at night, because the shows and then the theater show are all taking place in the middle of the resort. Everything stops at 11 PM, but for someone who really needs to sleep at an early time, the noise is unbelievably loud. We then were moved to another building (building number 5), closer to the spa. We were hopeful that the sound would not be as bad in our new room... to no avail. Every single room in the hotel facing the pools and the spa have to listen to the very loud shows until 11 PM every night. Mind you, the shows seem great. But if you need to go to bed early on your vacation, this is not the place to be. We made the best of it, and I will not say that it ruined our vacation. Everything else was so great, that it compensated for our lack of sleep at night. I can see why people come back here over and over again. If it was not for the noise at night, we would come back in a heartbeat. We would recommend this hotel, but we will not come back. Our quiet time at night is just something we really need during our holidays.
