Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Pristine Resort

The hotel, grounds, all amenities, where, in immaculate condition. The staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly. The meals at the à la cart, restaurants, and the buffets were top-notch. it was nice to have top shelf liquor.

We highly recommend El Olivo on the Aqua Marine site as well. Our family of six stayed for 8 days. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were tidied wonderfully every day. The only disappointment we encountered was the beach. I’m not sure if it’s a year round issues, but the seaweed at the beach is other-worldly. We had to wade through 20 feet of it, a couple of feet deep, to get to the ocean. Lovely sand and lounges, huts, and cabanas, but the seaweed was atrocious. That’s the only reason we can’t give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ocean El Faro: Disappointed

Sadly my experience at Ocean El Faro did not meet my expectations. The service is slow. I received the wrong room type on arrival and had to wait until Monday evening for a room to be available. I had an terrible experience at Route 66. I ordered a burger and fries noticed my burger was under cooked and found a worm larva wiggling on my finger. I thought I was going to vomit. My App was not working for the first 2 days so I was unable to book a reservation at the restaurant. Upon arrival  [... read more]no one mentioned that everything is done using a QR Code scanner. It was so frustrating, I spoke with 6 different people trying to get my issue resolved, however they did not know how to help me. I finally threatened to file a complaint and that is when the customer service rep took action to help me get my issues resolved. Once my issues were addressed the remainder of my stay was OK. The resort is beautiful. however the service is slow and the process of booking reservations needs to be improved

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great family resort but not without issues

The resort grounds, water park, room (family room was perfect with kids), pools and buffet are great! But there are several annoyances that would keep us from rushing back. The restaurants are almost impossible to get into as there are insufficient restaurants for the size of the resort. Also the restaurants are very poorly organize/ managed. The trolley is very handy to take you around the resort but the timing is very inconsistent, you wait anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. Lastly the staff seem unhappy. Occassionally we would come across someone providing great service but it was so rare we were surprised. Overall it was a great family vacation, but lots of opportunities for the resort to improve.

Occidental Punta Cana: Would Not Recommend

I expected to have an amazing relaxing vacation at this resort but instead was very disappointed. The food was awful and as a result made us sick. There were no options to choose from, the snack bar had uncooked hotdogs and hamburgers and crows would would be standing on the food eating it. You only get to make 3 reservations at the restaurants at the hotel. Those restaurants were not terrible but the portion size was incredibly small and didn’t satisfy. If you don’t speak spanish the staff would pretty much ignore you and be incredibly rude to you. There would be 30+ hagglers on the beach and just around the overall resort trying to sell anything to you and wouldn’t leave you alone unless you said you didn’t have money. This resort was not it and I am very upset with the outcome of this vacation. Do Not Go Here

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Great experience

We spent 7 days at Riu palace. We had an excellent experience on most fronts including:room, service (Cleaning, front desk, courtousey desk etc.). I had arranged for a parcel to be delivered . It was waiting for me upon arrival. We had to call our insurance company and see a doctor. Reina at the service desk made it seemless. The Dr actually came to pick us up from the hotel to the clinic . Bar, restaurant and entertainment staff was amazing.foor at the buffets was excellent. We had higher expe [... read more]ctations from the a la cart restaurant, so we were not impressed with the food there. (Embience and service were good, but the food was below standard). Lastly, we went in August and there was much seaweed which was only cleaned once every couple of days. All in all, I would definitely come back.

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Very comfortable and pleasant stay!

There are a lot of different interesting areas in this hotel. If you like cool cocktails - head to the lobby bar and don't forget to try "Mama Juana" drink. Pools are warm and you can relax there or have fun with animators practicing aqua aerobics. Alway book a restaurant for each evening. It's much more comfortable to eat within limited number of people, no rush and also very original menu. But there are a lot of weeds in the see in the summer and early autumn time.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fantastic resort

This resort is incredibly spacious! We required golf carts to travel between our room and the lobby. It boasts seven restaurants, with 2 out of 7 requiring advance reservations. There are two expansive pools, each featuring a swim-up bar. However, the beach had a significant amount of seaweed both on the sand and in the water, which detracted from its appeal for swimming. A snack bar is open every day from 4 pm to 6 pm. Additionally, they offer a teen lounge that is open to adults as well. This  [... read more]lounge includes amenities like a bowling alley, pool tables, table tennis, a bar, and a teen club. The resort also features a nightclub, piano lounge, spa, gym, mini shopping store, and a medical facility. Our hotel room was excellent and kept comfortably cool. The housekeeping staff was exceptional. They promptly arranged a crib for me and quickly provided fresh towels. One minor drawback regarding the rooms is the potential for more regular sweeping, as it didn't seem to occur daily. Overall, this resort was outstanding and lived up to expectations.

Occidental Caribe: Awesome, clean and well spread out.

The place is very large but still very close to the beach. The staff are friendly as well as the grounds keepers. We found no problems with the food. Very abundant and hot. Great deserts and fruit as well.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Unorganized resort

Difficult to reserve restaurants, then you get there, restaurant is empty and no place available ! Beach is small and very heavy waves, full of weeds. Service was slow, did not fill our fridge even after calling, worst resort i ever been too

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Pleasant Stay!

The hotel is great, the food was surprisingly good, and the themed restaurants were also great. It was really pleasant to be a VIP Club member. Very friendly staff, fun activities, and a peaceful environment. The beach was great, there's a lot of snorkeling opportunities; we also got really lucky with the weather. The tours that are offered at the airport and the hotel are great: we went to Scape Park and a biggie trip. Highly recommend those! Ocean El Faro: Average Resort

This hotel has a lot of improvement still to do. The Hotel is nice but the rooms smelled like Mold and the food is horrible. The night Entertainment was horrible and needs improvement. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Resort was okay not as good as last year

I found the manager and owner to be rude due to an incident that happened to me where a piece of the roof came within inches of hitting me in the head and the manager and owner didn’t care and wouldn’t compensate me for it like not giving me a gift certificate cause it caused me to have a major anxiety attack, the staff was wonderful and so was the food, the entertainment was not great

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

Everything was fantastic! Had an amazing time. The employees work hard to make guests comfortable and happy. I enjoyed learning some Spanish. The resort is huge and even though was busy you never felt crowded. The entertainment crew was amazing. I danced so much.

Zoetry Agua Punta Cana: Great place to relax

Hi went to Zoetry from 23 july to 3 August 2023 lets start with the good nice and very clean hotel 5 star amazing staff 5 star buttler the best i had name Ramone we had a swim out if we can splurge one go for it whats need to be correct the breakfast 3 star the food is very good depending what you eat the italian menu is not great they should change it we had some great food worth 5 diamond Steak ,fresh pasta with seafood ,the salmon amazing and only 2 restaurants were open  [... read more]but are buttler work is magic because my husband witch is a 5 diamond chef was not happy but you have to give them credit they tryed to please him they did achieve it to a certain level but the consistency of a 4 diamond hotel they do not have food wise if you are a fine gourmet like my husband its not the place price wise give a 4 star the resort is secluded so not the best place if you want to walk outside of the resort it takes 1 hours and very expensive 120$ us to get a cab alot of mosquitos alot you need to spray yourself or else beware i had 60 bites on one legs ! so i had to spray myself 2 times a day the beach is not great alot of seaweed thats why we always take a swim out so this is the pros and cons of Zoetry we decide to go back to cruises for are next vacation so we can enjoy fine dinnig at is best

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Great redort

Everything was amazing, the only thing was no pool bar and no towel service in beach area, but other than that pool wad great food was good and rooms were amazing. We return for sure. Very family friendly

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Wau ! Amazing !

Dining., rooms, professional stuff, food, night shows.....very good, perfect ! Luna, Jasmine ( booking dinner), Cesar( rest. Blue Moon) , they are the best, the best. MRS.Luna is the most profesional person in the resort ! Tha nk' s to all ! The beach , you have to resolve with the vegetation , and for transport the peoples inside , in the resort- it' s very imortant to help peoples to go everywwhere, for eating, fir reception, for coffe.....

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great family resort!

We just came back from a weeks stay with 2 teenagers. We really enjoyed ourselves. Beach was gorgeous after a couple of days due to the time of year. Staff were great and attentive. Food was always accessible and there was a lot of variety at the buffet. We didn’t do the a la carts. We didn’t really use the water park but the girls enjoyed one morning there. The grounds were clean and pretty. We enjoyed a couple of night time shows. We would return.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Amazing resort

Positive comments: friendly staff, excellent food, well kept facilities, rooms were top notch, very good entertainment, beach in adult section was quiet and not too crowded. Close to Punta Cana airport, Negative comments: beach loungers could use a cleaning. Deep tractor tracks left along beach due to removal of sea weed. Overall a great resort.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Good resort

The resort ground were very good and well maintained. The food was very good reasonable choices. The room was excellent. The beach was very good, always place to sit, not to much sargassum. Pools cleanliness not to my standard. The staff was generally good, had some issue with the host at one a la carte. We had many issues with the app not working but every issue we had was resolved to our satisfaction by guests services witch one employee really excelled. Please note depending on room type (bun [... read more]galows suite, family club & platinum) different booking time to a la carte are different. Eg. family club has 3 days in advance and bungalows suite has 1 day. Overall a very good resort for family.
