Excellence Playa Mujeres: Simply the Best All Inclusive

This was our third visit to Excellence and it did not disappoint! The food at all of the restaurants was top-notch. The grounds were impeccable and the rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Their newest addition of a Coffee Bar is "excellent"! The best desserts we have ever had at any all inclusive. We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit.

The Pyramid Cancun: Would go back

Went for the first time to Mexico from Nov 9th to 16th staying at the Pyramid Grand Oasis in Cancun - it was low-season, so the resort was less than half-occupied. My wife and I (in our mid-50s) have been to many islands in the Caribbean. It was a very enjoyable stay - the food was excellent! We enjoyed the beach and the pool. It is a relatively large resort but once you got your bearings - it was easy to get around. The room was very clean and comfortable - some days we had chamber-maid service twice! The only negative was two things - they have people walking around the main building - asking if you need any help/directions - in reality these folks are eventually going to try to sell you a "time-share" - don't accept their offer of a free bottle of tequila. The other negative is only if you are a beach-walker - we like to walk on the beach - while it is beautiful - the sand being comfortably cool it is very soft near the shoreline - it feels like walking through mud - we prefer walking on hard sand - but that is not a really big deal. We would go back to the Pyramid Grand Oasis and would recommend it.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Best resort ever

This was our fourth time at this resort in the last three years. The service at Excellence Playa Majeures is second to none. The menus have been changed ( to even better) and one of the biggest changes I have noticed is that the wi-fi is a 100 percent better. We will be back next year this time I will upgrade to Excellence Club because the pools there are heated . You will not be disappointed if you book this resort, that I can assure you .

Riu Palace Las Americas: Cancun's Finest

Comparing the resorts I have stayed at in Cancun, I can say that this is one of my favorites. The beach was clean, the food excellent, the rooms very well kept, and that staff the friendliest I have ever seen. I will definitely tell my friends to stay at the RIU resorts and especially this RIU Palace Las Americas.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Close to Paradise

My husband and I traveled to many all inclusive resorts but this one is now our favorite. The pick up from the airport was just perfect; on time, in a well air conditioned car, with a well spoken and polite driver -provided by Best Day. The hotel was almost haven...starting with the check in which was quick and smooth and professional.The main hallway and reception look very classy, air conditioned and not crowded. I have not seen the maids once in eight days but the room was cleaned once we left the room; I had to go back a few times, in about one hour after we left and the room was already done. The fridge was stocked daily with our preferred drinks - Heineken beer, red wine...we just have to ask for what we needed. The restaurants are amazing - don't worry about reservation, just show up and you will be accomodated, if they were busy they would just tell us when to come back, but this was never more than half an hour later. The Surf and Turf serves lobster and steak to die for, so is the Steakhouse and the French Restaurant is exquisite. All the waiters are again well trained, polite and knowledgeable about the foods and drinks served. The pools and the beach are very nice, I saw them checking the ph of the water in the pool one morning; you can find clean towels everywhere and they are not obsessed with returning them and checking the room number like I've seen in other resorts . They had a few theme nights - Halloween, Mexican and Bollywood - which were perfect in terms of arrangements, music, food and service.

Staff need improvement, very stressful staff ....the staff working en the lobby very rude.... Food is ok,toillets near to restaurants they are disgusting... We expect a better hotel for the price... When we arrived to cancun we was waiting for the transport too long...

Paradisus Cancun: Lovely Resort!

Resort is beautiful, well maintained but the staff needs to be trained well to communicate in English and be friendly with guests. This resort suites well for retired people and people with babies. Not much entertainement for adults or kids. Resort itself is beautiful! Rooms are clean!

Moon Palace Cancun: Wonderful Time!

My sister-in-law and I stayed ay Moon Palace for a destination wedding and had a marvellous time. First of all, I must say that it was the perfect place to have a wedding and obviously many agreed with us as there were so many beautiful weddings taking place every day. We stayed in a new building called the Grand and were amazed by the size and quality of the room. It was clean, well decorated and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The resort was very spacious and there were restaurants, bars, pools and more everywhere you looked. The beach was literally just steps away and was nicely raked and cared for. The food was delicious and the variety was endless. The people who worked there were extremely friendly and always helpful. Overall, I was impressed with the resort and have already talked my husband into going with me the next time. This resort is for everyone, young and old!

Isla Mujeres Palace: Great service/monotonous food

This was a really clean hotel. It is not a huge resort. Kind of intimate. My biggest satisfaction was with the service. Everyone is there to make you happy. Unfortunately, I have travelled to many resorts around the world and this one was a deception for the food. It's not a cheap all inclusive so I was expecting crab, shrimps, lobster, at least one night but no. Food was very well presented but the same seems repetitive. Couldn't get a simple banana for breakfast. The pool is really b [... read more]eautiful and well kept. The beach is small but pretty. We went around the island with a golf cart. It is extremely dirty. There are garbage everywhere. Not at all what I expected. Overall a good, quiet trip. TOO expensive for what the dining offers.

Paradisus Cancun: Paradisus Cancun - Fantastic trip!

I was at the Paradisus Cancun for a week Nov 7/16 and it was one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. The service in the Royal Service area was impeccable. They could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Every detail was looked after. The al a carte dining was excellent and the beachside restaurant was also. We ate at the buffet sometimes for breakfast and lunch and it was also good. Crown Paradise Club Cancun: OUTSTANDING STAFF

GREAT FOR FAMILIES, LOTS OF ACTIVITIES, CLEAN, SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF AT THE POOL AND AT THE FRONT DESK, ALL ROOMS OCEAN VIEW, BEACH WAS FABULOUS WITH GORGEOUS TURQUOISE CLEAR WATERS AND PURE WHITE SAND. ENJOYED THE STEAK RESTO, THE ITALIAN RESTO, AND ROOM SERVICE WAS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD FOOD NOT AVAILABLE ON THE BUFFET WOULD HAVE GIVEN 4 STAR EXCEPT: THE BUFFET WAS POOR WITH LITTLE SELECTION,

Moon Palace Cancun: Paradise!

This was our first experience as a family (we have 3 children) at an all inclusive resort and boy were we impressed! We stayed at the Moon Palace Sunrise resort and loved every single minute. The staff were more then helpful, respectful and it was obvious that customer service is of the highest priority to most of them. We were extremely tired and hungry when we first arrived, hoping to skip through check in quickly we were talked into an "information session" even though we were reluctant to commit to it (it was at a set time the very next day) we were strongly encouraged to go. When we met with them it was quickly apparent that this "information session" was more of a time share or next trip planning session. This was definitely NOT what we wanted to do (90 minutes of our vacation time we were not interested in giving up) When we said we weren't interested we were lead into an office while staff spoke in the corner with her manager. Finally the manager spoke to us and I just stated firmly but politely that we weren't interested. It was fine in the end but it did but a slight damper on the experience. But I'd have to say that over all we thought the experience was amazing; the view was spectacular, the entertainment was talented and the staff eager to help to make our visit an exceptional one! We loved Javier at the Barracuda steak house...we had the pleasure of his service on our first night and our last night!! We would love to return one day and highly recommend it for families and couples!!

NYX Hotel Cancun: Cozy, Intimate, Super Clean resort

I was very impressed with NYX Hotel Cancun. For the wonderfully low price and amount of stars, my expectations were fairly low. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked through the door. I was embraced with a charming aroma. The air freshner they use smells like a really nice perfume. The front desk staff are super freindly, warm and genuine. Valeria is super at what she does. The bar has cocktails and bar rail for all inclusive travellers. All other alcohol (name brand stuff) has a fee. The bartenders are amazing. They work super hard and never with attitude. The best ones are Edgar and Edgar. One works at the pool bar, the other inside the hotel bar. They are very personable and geniune gems that work hard. Ask Edgar to make a Donkey's Sperm shot! Breakfast is buffet. Its pretty much the same food every morning but I loved the porridge and turkey sausages that I didnt mind. Lunch is ordered off a menu that also does not change. The salmon and seafood soup were my favs. Dinner is buffet and the entrees are ordered from a menu. Dinner and lunch is served on the beach. Very romantic and soothing. Hector is in charge of the servers for the lunch and dinner period. He is amazing. He always made sure I was OK and that things were "handled". He is a real cool kat. All the servers act with the utmost professionalism. I wish I could recall their names but Arturo and Elisio stick out. Also shout out to Kenny for taking care of our luggage. He is super friendly and always engaging. Aldo is the go to guy in the hotel. If you need anything or have a question, go to Aldo! Its definitely worth the upgrade to get a ocean view room. Waking up to a big blue beautiful sea of water every morning is priceless. The food was delicious. No real complaints there. The beach is gorgeous. Water has high tides. The hotel is spotless. Construction is going on next door but its not an issue at all in terms of noise. The hotel is 5 min walking to a major shopping mall outlet with high end stores. Short bus ride to the club district (6 min). I would definitely stay here again. Hands down.

The Sens Cancun: Beautiful Resort !!

We just loved this place...amazing resort with plenty of amenities and lovely local foods. They have nightly entertainment every night. Swimming pools are beautiful. Some services are payable though (like wifi, laundry etc.). But overall it's a lovely resort and we would like to spend time there again.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: exceptional resort

This resort had all that you would expect and more... great staff, clean, good food. Would recommend to all. Staff went out of their way to assist...very helpful. The restaurants were easy to access and food was great.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Amazing Customer Service!

I truly can't say enough positive things about this resort. From the location, to the service, to the food ... it was all more than we could have hoped for. I travelled with my two adult daughters and it was the trip of a lifetime. The beauty of this particular resort in comparison to the others on the "strip", is that it is small enough that you could get to any part of the hotel to the beach, pool, restaurant simply by walking a few short steps. It is within a 5-10 minute walking distance t [... read more]o two malls, La Isla (designer shops) and Flamingo (souvenirs, etc.). The food I would rate as a 4 out of 5, but the presentation of every plate, from breakfast to dinner, was definitely gourmet, 5 out of 5. As it is an all inclusive, we were worried that "trough" food would be the norm, but instead, there was a sit-down, a-la-carte restaurant (whose menu changed daily), with a small buffet on the side. If you are looking for a party resort, this is not the hotel for you. The poolside bar closes at 11:00 and the lobby bar at 12:00. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet, quaint and clean place to spend their vacation. NYX Hotel Cancun: Super clean resort!

Excellent food! Everything is always super clean and most of the staff is pretty Nice! I have never seen a beach so clean :D The only downside might be that the pool close at only 8 PM and the latest bar close at midnight. Note : There's only one restaurant available for each meal.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Awesome resort

Like it all except the buffet could be better. Great entertainment staff as well as Wayne's boots restaurant. Would go back and enjoy the adults only section. Sadly renos being done although it wasn't in the buffet area when it should have been.

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Gran Caribe Resort, excellent food!

Not too big, but has everything you need in a nutshell. Food was excellent, beaches were perfect, staff was very accommodating. Has fine Italian and Mexican dining, to well stocked buffets, to beachside hamburg and hot dog stands with all the trimmings. You can find souvenir trinkets, beachwear in a little boutique, a good variety of sterling silver jewelry and/or high end gold with precious stones. The staff is just too eager to help you ( in a good way)! It was a real pleasure to be there!

Paradisus Cancun: Miscommunication but great hotel

When we booked our trip to paradisus it was supposed to be emerald club room which comes with a few perks, how ever when we got to the hotel they jad never heard about Emerald club and didn't have any information about any perks. The good thing was that the hotel was amazing with great and the manager there was awesome as he upgraded us to royal service and it heaven from there. I recommend going to this hotel but don't get emerald club as it doesn't exist.
