Grand Oasis Sens: Quick Escape

We were in desperate need of a vacation, as we were going through some crazy renovations on our home. So we chose Oasis Sens for their chill vibe, and for the fact that we had been there before, and we knew everything about the resort already. We arrived fairly late, but were immediately escorted to the Sian Ka'an reservation area, where we were treated like royalty. We got our room right away and were in shock of how beautiful it was! We had a beach-side suite, it magnificent view of the ocean, [... read more] a large terrace with a plunge pool. The Suite itself was huge. Way more room than we ever needed. The dinning was amazing! we of course ate at Benazuza and the Black Hole. We tried to get reservations for the Sushi place, but they were booked up. But it was fine, as we decided to head into Cancun to do some shopping and eating out on a patio in town. We were there to just relax and do nothing... and that's exactly what we did. We never set any alarms, and we just slept whenever for however long we wanted, ate whenever (room service), cruised the internet (with our free wifi), dipped in the plunge pool/ocean/public pools whenever we need a cool-down. We didn't spend much time in the public areas, but when we did, it was nice. Getting to town was super easy. Staff was super accommodating. The mini-bar service could improve a bit... a little slow to re-stock. i would love to go again, and probably stay a little longer next time. 10-14 days would be so nice.

Riu Cancun: beautiful Resort

Clean, Food was amazing it caters to everyone. The rooms were clean, the persons at the front desk, pool area, restaurants everyone one amazing. I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family. I would also come back.

Moon Palace Cancun: My golf vacation

I absolutely loved everything about the resort. The amenities, the people and the cleanliness of the entire area. The food was fresh, diverse and the dining experiences in the numerous restaurants was exceptional. Oh, and the servers: wow, nice people who encourage you to have an exceptional experience when there. I thought the golf courses were exceptional as well. Never disappointed.

Riu Cancun: Very Clean, Beautiful Resort

The hotel was much larger than other RIU's I have stayed at However very clean, not a bug in site, hotel staff were always cleaning, touching up paint and maintaining the overall hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and quick to assist with anything needed. The pool bar staff were very friendly and fast at making sure you received your order quickly and made properly. It casts a shadow over the pool and beach making it a tad bit on the cool side with the winds coming in from the ocean. The food was really good, I recommend the Steakhouse if you are going to try anything. You didn't have to make any reservations which was a nice change, it was first come first serve. And there was never an issue getting into one of the restaurants. The beach was very clean, they made sure to remove any seaweed that was dragged in with the waves and Lifeguards were always close-by. There are some vendors who walk up and down the beach strip but aren't pushy like the vendors across the street. We booked excursions through Nexxus, there were some issues with our excursion bookings. We had to cancel our initial trip and book another one through a recommended third party. Which ended up being more money for less. (Which my group was not happy about) The overall experience at that excursion was not very good. The ATVing was really rough. They put two people on a one seater ATV where I was hurt from my behind hitting off the metal rack on the back of the ATV. One of our friends on the excursions seat was loose and they told him to still continue driving. Our ATV also kept dying throughout our drive. We went to speak with our Nexxus representative later and he explained there have been multiple complaints with that third party company and they are looking at dropping them as an option. (which we would have appreciated to know sooner) There is a lot of shopping surrounding the hotel, However be aware there are a lot of vendors who are pushy and they tend to get a bit overwhelming after a while. A three-story super market is conveniently close if you are looking for hotel room snacks. Very good prices and definitely a sight to see. Really beautiful supermarket. If you are the type of person who likes to be in the heart of where you are travelling, not sure this is the place you want to be. It is very americanized. Almost like a vegas strip. High-End stores such as Burberry, Armani, Cartier etc. are close by as well as big clubs and chains of restaurants. The flight staff with Sunwing were very pleasant, no delays, flight was on time and great overall service.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Awesome Time At The Grand Oasis Cancun

The service was great and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The people that visit were all fun and the Entertainment was top notch. The food was great and a large selection of places to eat with different cuisines was a total bonus.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Amazing resort

The hotel was beautiful. The grounds were gorgeous. The rooms were fantastic. We just had a junior suite and it was lovely. The staff couldn't' do enough for you. Always very helpful. The food was awesome .Dianne

Riu Palace Peninsula: It's all about shrimp and the view!!!

I'll make it short. Pros: The ocean view from the room!!! New, fancy and clean resort. Thursday Lobster night. Great choice of spirits (don julio, jack daniels, etc). Great service throughout the resort. Lots of jumbo shrimp every day for dinner and supper. Cons: Very uncomfortable bad and pillows. Same food every day. The food is just ok. Lame a la carte restaurants. Alcohol dispenser not renewed in the entire stay. No slippers or bathrobe in room. Dos xx beer on tap absolute [... read more]ly sucked. Snack/sport bar food is terrible Night shows are boring (no imagination, just parodies on pop stars). Snorkeling (almost no fish). Resort shops unreasonably expensive. AC temp. is not adjustable so it's either too hot or too cold in the room.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Great resort, wish I could have stayed longer!

I was looking for a 5 or 7 night trip, only got 3 nights 3 days unfortunately - I'd love to win ! The staff, room, food, ocean and trips were just great and that made my short stay a great one nevertheless. I would definitely return to the resort, but I do like to try new places each time.

Secrets Playa Mujeres: A relaxing , beautiful resort

The resort is well kept , clean , lots of vegetation Food is very good, lots of choices , esp healthy choices ie daily fresh fish , shrimp, salmon the variety of fruits is fine, more local grown mangos would have been nice , but in general good. Riu Cancun: Great Resort :)))

A group of 20 arrived for a wedding. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The pools were awesome, some quiet some not depending on the time of day. Entertainment nightly was good but a lot of Spanish which is ok if you understand it but most of the guests are not. I would've preferred more English but it wouldn't stop me from watching the shows. The water was amazing and the sandy beaches even better. I have a problem with sand fleas most places and was so happy that there wasn't one to be found trust me I would've found it. There is wifi in the lobby but you are limited to only hooking up 2 devices. Usually that's ok but sometimes more are needed and can't be done there. The staff were friendly and willing to give assistance if needed. It didn't look like they had many kids activities although not exactly sure since we weren't travelling with ours. The food was good they offer a few specialty restaurants that looked good I went to the steakhouse and the Italian and they were good. I would recommend this hotel I would definitely go Back.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun: What a great spot!

This hotel was absolutely amazing from the speedy check in (our room was ready) to check out the service staff grounds was top notch. We ate a a couple of the restaurants and they all have something for everyone from a burger and fries to sushi. The views and the grounds were well taken care of and there were all these little sitting areas as well with gas fire places for at night time to the beds that lined the pool area. Adhara Hacienda Cancun: luxury at affordable prices

adhara was a very peacefull, quiet,clean and friendly place to stay on our vacation. Spacious room, helpful staff, ground security, large pool to relax in, great amenities and not too far from the airport or bus station. only a couple of draw backs for me was lack of movie channels or just more selection and not being allowed to bring food or drinks from outside the hotel to your room.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Amazing resort!!

I went there for my honeymoon and I loved every minute of it. I have been to all the RIU'S in cancun without any doubt this is the best one it's only 5 minutes away from the cancun strip and you have access to all the other rius. Beautiful resort, Great food, great service!!

Riu Palace Peninsula: Wonderful!

The Riu Palace Peninsula was a lovely hotel. Excellent service, delicious variety of food, several pools to choose from, the beach was lovely with soft sand, premium liquors. Our jacuzzi suite was just beautiful with an incredible ocean view and was always kept spotless. Overall, a lovely relaxing honeymoon and just what we would would expect from a Riu Palace!

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Good hotel

First time at an Iberostar. Arrived before room was ready and was sent straight to a concierge who began telling us about this great promotion that week. It turned out to be a time sharing presentation to join their club. Was not very impressed. We had a few issues with our room - TV remote defective, no hair dryer, and air conditioning was not working properly. However, these were taken care of shortly after they were reported. My husband had to hold on to the heavy door whilst I called for maintenance. It took them over 15 minutes and 3 phone calls to respond. Due to a miscommunication, we felt as though we were being blamed in some way for the door coming off and an argument ensued. When I pointed out the potential hazard and injury that could have resulted, their solution was to offer us another room, this was 2 nights before we left and we were not interested in moving. So we chose not to use the balcony for the remainder of the vacation. Overall, staff was very friendly and the hotel and beach were very nice.

Smart Cancun By Oasis: Oasis Smart in Cancun, review

Not many staff speak English. Even a girl in front desk barely understands English. Lady who cleans the room everyday made it very obvious that she wants tips. Otherwise you will not see towel rack empty and you have to ask front desk for towels. Front desk phone barely ever got picked up when you call from your room. When you ask front desk any questions, they never said they didn't know the answer. Instead, they gave you wrong answer. For example, you ask him to make a wake up call. [... read more] He would say ok. Then he never did. Also, you ask what is country code of Mexico, he would say 54 while actually it is 52. Even in the room, the instruction of how to dial local or international or dial a room are all wrong. There is no fan in washroom so it stinks. When I told front desk about this, instead of telling that is the way it is, I was told the fan works slowly and that you wouldn't feel the wind. I said there was no wind at all, then they said they would get it fixed the next day. Next day was told it is fixed. It never was. I bought cigarrets from across the street. I asked front desk if I could exchange in the store. Was told no. I someone still brought them back to store, they were changed very smoothly. I asked front desk if hotel business centre has different wifi username. Was told there is no special wifi but the fact is there is. Different user name and password and it is faster. I found some bugs in the room on the desk I killed 2. Size half of flea. Grey colour very light weight. Jumps. Not sure what kind of bugs. I had some bites from someone in bed after sleeping. Saw small bumps on my elbow.

the only issue we had was when we arrived about 11am they did not have our room ready until 4pm, We were both hot and tired, just wanted a shower and a nap. this was very disturbing. The food was good as was the service, the entertainment not very good. Jackie

Paradisus Cancun: Terrible- please read before you book

The resort is nice. The food was mostly bad. We went with a big group and it was a nightmare trying to reserve a la carte restaurants. and because we were a big group (15 people) , they gave us food enough for 4 people.. and they were very rude about it too. On top of everything, we booked through trip central by sunwing, and the shuttle bus transport workers stole credit cards from one of our group. They also kept trying to pretend that they lost her purse but really they were just using th [... read more]at time to take her cards out of her purse, then they returned the purse and stole money from her card that same moment. HORRIBLE experience.. They were also holding my baby bag, and trying to walk far with it. I kept insisting i dont need help and i want my baby bag back, and the guys wouldnt give it back (thinking i would look away for a second and he can steal it). I took it from him and he seemed disappointed. I would never travel with sunwing. On the way going, the 4 hour flight took 9 hours because the pilot had to stop somewhere to 'fill gas', and stopped in cancun airport for another hour until he was able to find a place to get us off the plane. It should never be like that.. we paid for a 4.5 star resort not so that we can be treated like that.. i would never fly through sunwing and would never go to a paradisus resort. Also room service, if we forgot to put a tip, they actually wont even clean the room.. it shouldnt work like that! it was one day that we forgot to put her a tip, and the room was left as it is!

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Love it!

This was our second visit. Staff, food, facility are superb. Beach is white sand and great for swimming. The upgrade to the private plunge pool suite is worth every penny. All spa services include a 1 hour hydrotherapy circuit that is a must do!
