Occidental Tamarindo: Comfort in Costa Rica

Hotel staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate, beds were extremely comfortable and showers hot. Grounds were well kept and clean. Beautiful pool that did not seem overcrowded and plenty of lounge chairs available.

Occidental Caribe: Great vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. It is in a great location with a very nice beach and pools. The restaurant choices were adequate and the service was great. We had an ocean front room with a great view! However the room itself was average and could use some upgrading in the bathroom. Overall though the resort was clean and the staff friendly and accommodating.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Very nice

I was impressed with the service! I could get gluten free food at all the restuarants but sometime not much flavour. There is still some education needed for the waiters and cooks. The pools were nice but could not always find a lounger to lay on. The breeze off the ocean made the heat bearable.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great Resort

This resort was wonderful. The pools are big therefore never feeling overly busy. The a la cartes restaurants are great especially the Italian ones. The waiters and waitresss were very attentive. We would definitely go back to this resort.

Occidental Cozumel: Familiale en plain nature très agreable

Hôtel de lux en plain nature,mer calme, pas de roches.petits bungalow vue dans la verdure,chambres larges,confortables et propres.Restauranrs agreable. Personnel souriant accueillant. Vacances reposantes.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Everything you want

This is my second time at this resort. Couldn’t ask for a nicer place. Very clean food is great. Can snorkel right out front of the palace resort is best. I will say one thing to be aware of and not sure if the tripcentral reps would even be aware of. The last few days of our trip a business convention arrived and took over one side of the buffet. Occidental Cozumel: Beautiful resort!

Lovely well looked after resort in the midst of beautiful vegetation. The staff were very friendly and worked hard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great service at the snorkel rental area as well.

Palma Real: Such an amazing time

I had such an awesome time on my trip! This is my second time at this resort and I will definitely be back!! The weather is amazing the beach is to die for and of course the rum and drinks are delicious;) Please do keep in mind though that this is a 3.5 star resort so you’re not going to have absolutely everything at 100%. But I am truly grateful for the culture and the beach’s. Vacations like these are what I live for. So thankful for Cuba and it’s amazing people 💜

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Very nice resort.

Very nice resort but the lawn was dug up and there was a water leak they were trying to fix all week but never got any better. The maids were not very friendly unlike other resorts I have stayed at before. Food was very good and a la carte restsurants were excellent. Could not get a coffee at the adult resort before 630 had to walk 20 minutes to the other side which had a bar open 24 hours. Should have been something open at the adult side too.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Occidental Xcaret

We had a great time at this resort. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Monkeys swinging through trees and on our balcony, flamingos, deer, iguanas everywhere. It was lovely. The drinks and food were plentiful. The beach/cove was closed and mirky as a recent storm created a sanddune which closed the opening, but a natural beach formed due to it which we enjoyed. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We would return.

Barcelo Solymar: A very fun trip

Ok so... This is good resort for young people, not so much for people with kids. Its pretty easy to comehere alone and make friends. I got a while bungalow to myself. Besdies a leking AC, it was an awesome place to call home base. The resort itself is pretty solid. The resort is being renovated and the upkeep is pretty good. The food was decent, and I have to sy Cuba is slwoly cathching up in terms of variety and quality. thye TV servuice was ok, I usually watched Showtime. The internet ws 1$ for a 1 hour wifi card which was decent and it worked ok in the lobby. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Best all inclusive so far!

We went down with 2 couples and stayed on the second floor rooms 6249 and 6239. Both rooms were equally good with ample space and great views of the lush tropical bush. Lots of songbirds to great you every morning as well as big Igwanans. If you can’t enjoy yourself at this resort you are really too picky and should do some soul searching! We never waited more than a couple minutes usually less the 10 seconds for a drink. When you see the size of this place that’s amazing! We stayed at the Colonial but the sister resorts, Tropical, Caribe, Beach, and Palace. All are beautiful and accessible except the Palace (5star) I will warn that although accessible for handicapped people this place is huge and a lot of walking is required! Shows were decent but got repetitive if all were taken in. Would go back in a New York minute, Thank you Karol from trip central for the recommendation!

Barcelo Karmina: very good resort

Nice and clean, friendly staff, need a little maintenance but nothing serious. Would have enjoyed a little pre show music and dancing in the lobby or designated area not everyone stays up late enough for the disco. Food was good but there is a need to watch the serving temperature for the food. Some of it was cold and this could create a situation were food poisoning could happen. Overall great stay

Palma Real: Party Real

This place is under new management so its gonna be a beauty when they sink some pesos into the renovations. There was 12 Bowmanville Bandits travelling together. Most of us really enjoyed the variety of food and drink especially the gasolena and Spanish coffee. The gardeners were always working hard trying to keep the cups outta the flower beds. Not sure where to start about entertainment...its quite a show in the main lobby bar area so get there early and enjoy your cup of tea. Staff are wonderful for taking pics/videos and the maids go above and beyond you make your stay most pleasurable. All said and done I wouldn't spend 8K on the place but for 700$ its a steal. Be sure to hit up the gas station pollo joint, just like KFC but only better and Calle 62 is close 2nd for BBQ pollo. If your on a budget and don't mind a little action and loud music this place is right up your alley. GAS ON

Occidental Cozumel: Amazing holiday

My husband and I just returned from Occidental in Cozumel and what wonderful holiday we had. From its pristine grounds to its beautiful white sand beach with the most crstyal clear waters, this hotel won't disappoint. Staff was always plesant and so accommodating. Our room was spotless daily and always added touch to our room. ( Room walls were a little thin) We never had a bad meal, there was always something interesting and different to eat. Allegro Cozumel: Great place

We had a great trip. The staff are amazing and very helpful. This is our second time at this resort and have had a great experience. They are always working on upgrading to make the place nice. I heard some people complain about the food but we never had a complaint.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Fantastic spot

The hotel was beautiful very clean great service huge resort but tons of space to just relax and not be bothered by others. Food was very good service was excellent but our room had a terrible view. Lots to do and the whole family had great experience.

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Not too bad

This was a decent resort. Rooms are definitely dated, but liveable. The Beach is absolutely beautiful, but you need to get there 1st thing in the morning if you want to get a lounge chair to sit on. The pool is a great spot to sit and relax and enjoy the fun daytime entertainment. The staff at the pool bar are wonderful and friendly. Much better than the other bars. People are very unfriendly and like to ignore you. Buffet staff do not allow you to keep your glasses and remove your plates before you are even done with them. Not a very enjoyable experience. Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Incredible Resort

Beautiful hotel on a large property with plenty of activities and restaurants in the complex. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious at every location and there are plenty of loungers at pool and beach in sun or shade. Can't wait to return!!!
