This hotel is new and stunning, Robert and his wife in the lobby took total care of us and provided us with every thing you could ask for, special call out to Alex and Jerge in lobby bar, and Henry and Serquey in beach bar, these people are the best, food was good, room great, really was a great holiday, would go back in a heart beat"" beach iis still on going but will be nice once all is complete""

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great Vacation!

Hotel was great. Could use a little updating, but was clean and grounds well kept. Staff was amazing. Everyone was helpful, and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. No bottled water other than in room as part of recycling initiative and found the filteref water salty. Steak and Seafood Restaurant were amazing!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Pleasant,relaxing resort

The rooms and facilities are great. Drinks and food were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Alacarte restaurants not exceptional. Coffee was often cool and not great. Wine was good. The beach was not swimmable most of the time we were there. Though you can take a dip when tide is low. Plenty of beach chairs to relax in and watch the waves. Beach was Not the best for kids. The biggest drawback to this hotel was the distance to town or outside activities. For the city tour we were a [... read more]way for 10+ hours with 7 pickups and drop offs on the way!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing beach, good resort, a lot of families with kids

We were traveling to Iberostar Ensenachos on January 12 - 22, 2019. The resort is greatly maintained, beautiful territory. Very decent food with lots of selection, good seafood options. Service is amazing everywhere with an exception of the lobby bar. The beach and the ocean were to die for, even on the chillier days. Ocean is so calm that you can swim, no waves at all. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Worth a visit

After 15 trips to Cuba, we’ve stayed in many different resorts. This resort is a solid 4 1/2 star as advertised. Food was quite good and grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the adults only Spa section. This small area is the only part that’s adults only. On the beach and in the restaurants, kids almost outnumber adults. The property is VERY large. I’d guess it was 1/2 km walk from our room to the closest beach. If you have kids you’d struggle without a stroller. It’s a long walk for l [... read more]ittle legs from the rooms for meals. Other than it being too big for our liking, this resort ticks all the boxes.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Wonderful Trip!

The resort was great and lead to an incredible beach. The staff was very friendly and the rooms and resort were kept clean. The food definitely met our expectations! It was also very convenient that there was a bus stop just a short walk from the entrance of the resort. The only thing we did not enjoy was smoking in most areas.

- Very clean - Huge resort, but everything is really in close proximity - Internet connection was acceptable - Vacationed to more than 12 resorts in Cuba including Cayo Coco, Cayo Santa Maria, Holguin, Santa Lucia and Varadero. This resort was much superior in terms of quality of food. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Good vslue

Good resort. Smaller so everything was within close vicinity...easy to walk. Clean rooms and public washrooms. Good food variety both prepared and freshly done (meat, fish, stir fry). Large walking beach, lots of chairs on beach...no need to "save" chairs!. Water in snorkeling srea so seaweed ofen near edge of beach.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: #1 Jamaica vacation

The best place I’ve ever stayed. Second to none hospitality.Greatest food ever.Great entertainment nightly. Beaches were kept clean and daily barbecues ,they were fantastic. Poolside entertainment was awesome. Beach activities were fun on the beach. Room service was great. Sad to leave😟

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Decent Place

This place had everything we needed for a nice fly and flop, the rooms where clean and pool was awesome all new chairs which where very nice, the resort overall was very well manintained, The only real problem was they have to try and keep the food a little warmer and food was only average, but you could always find something to eat for sure, The pool staff bar tenders are the best very nice and do a great job making you feel welcomed. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Solid 4 star resort

Stayed at this resort from Jan.9-16and had a great time. Flew with Sunwing and that was horrible but no reflection on the resort. Grounds were very nice with fixups ongoing. There was a few issues with bar/restaurant closures due to low season that I wish I had known about earlier. Only went to 1 ala carte which was excellent (Jambalaya). Funny though , the place was empty although many people were told it was fully booked. Heard this was pretty common. Vendors at the beach were fun . All you have to say is no and they leave you alone if that is what you want. I like to get to know them myself. You get a better idea of true island life. Ask them to make up a rap for you, it's a blast. Oh and one last thing , the food is amazing!! You will enjoy.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Loved it more than the first time

We love this resort/franchise so much! We have stayed at the Punta Cana & Bavaro now and definetly will return to the Bavaro side because of the accommodations. Villas are so key for me because I’m very noise-sensitive and so echoing in hallways when in hotel style always keeps me awake and/or disturbs me. The villas at Bavaro are great. The washrooms could use some TLC & the TV was a little shotty, but who’s watching TV on vacation?! The rooms were great at both locations. We preferred the  [... read more]pool and food on the Punta Cana/Dominicana side of the resort, but you have use of the whole property, so no big deal! The ONLY complaint we have is that they seem to have changed the food from the last time we were there and there is way too much seafood! Like, way too much! Seemed like every night was sushi/fish night...the problem? My husband is highly allergic to all fish (shellfish, seafood)!!! He was relegated to eating pizza and bread because the cross-contamination with people using tongs from fish to touch other non-fish items and also dropping seafood into other dishes was rampant! There was no safe food for him to eat. When we went to the Punta Cana side 2 years ago, he did eat something that obviously fish had touched because he had a severe reaction and was throwing up trying to avoid a hospital visit. SO I do wish the menu wasn’t so fish-heavy, because in 2017 it wasn’t like that. We would go to each of the 3 Buffetts on this recent stay hoping for a different food theme, but fish was everywhere at all 3 buffets every night :( But anyway...the grounds are beautiful, the accommodations, the service, we just love DR and love this franchise. We will be back (hopefully the menu returns to 2017 and they find other foods to feature!)

Resort was beautiful, well kept and clean. The food was awesome. The buffet lacked signage to tell you what the food was and the public washrooms could use a little TLC. There was no lack of food options. No complaints

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Amazing Staff and nice resort!!

Overall nice comfortable resort! Amazing food and lots of different choices daily! Cudos tobthe chef who did a Giant Paella dish at Bbq one day!! Can’t say enough about the most friendly AND. Accommodating Staff Best I’ve encountered in 19 trips to Cuba! Every dept day or nite fantastic people....made us feel like a celebrity!! Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Beautiful, Relaxing Vacation

This resort was absolutely beautiful with the walking paths, animals, and foliage. The staff was always cheerful and helpful, and we found the food to be superb (especially the international buffet!). The only complaint we had were the pillows were not very comfortable, but it wasn't really enough to complain about. But the small shopping centre was a lovely short walk away. We would most definitely go back as this one is our favourite resort we have been to so far!

The room we were in was clean and your standard room. The pool and beach areas were nice. The bartenders at the swim up bar were fantastic. Friendly, remembered your drink orders and were entertaining. There is always something available somewhere on the resort for you to eat. No one would ever go home hungry. The buffet restaurant although the food was good it was basically the same menu each night. I would recommend reservations at 1 of 3 specialty restaurants. When making a reservation for [... read more] one of the restaurants you need to do this as soon as you get to the hotel or before if possible. We arrived at the hotel at around 6 pm, we made our reservations the following morning at 9:30. Two of the three restaurants only had availability left for one night of the six remaining nights we were there and the seating times were not until 8:30 at night. For some people this time might be fine, however, for myself I would prefer an earlier seating. The specialty restaurants were a steak house, a Japanese restaurant and a Cajun restaurant. The Japanese restaurant had the best seating times and you could pick from several days. By far the Japanese restaurant had the best food and entertainment. I would highly recommend making a reservation or two at this restaurant. When we were there the hotel was not anywhere near capacity so you could was find a lounge chair near the pool. However I don’t know if some of the entertainment during the day was lacking because there was not the clientele. The evening entertainment was your typical resort type show. Nice way to end your day after a day at the beach or pool. My recommendation however, for the evenings entertainment is that it start earlier. The shows did not start until 9:45 which seemed late, especially if you have children. All in all nice clean resort with super friendly staff.

Had the best time food was pretty good and staff was very friendly will come back the only thing I didn't like they kept on running out of mint for mojitos and took half a day to restock but other then that perfect resort

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Very nice resort

Very nicely appointed and most had good exposure overlooking beach, well kept and well maintained good housekeeping and very polite staff.mini fridge was refilled everyday and room service was welcome feature at the resort.

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: A family affair

Hotel had a lot to offer everyone in our group, from 5 years old to 75 years young. Food was consistently good, pool was beautiful and beach location exquisite. Larger resort than we have previously experienced so less of a community feel among guests and staff. But overall, the evening shows were breath taking and the experience was a good one.
