Villa del Palmar Beach Resort: Great time

The hotel was great once we got settled.our reservation was for Monday to Monday but they only had us booked for 4 nights starting Thursday.Our first room had a sewer problem Took us 3 visits to the desk to get a new room. After that we had a great stay

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: very average

The hotel was kept very clean the buffet was average. The biggest selling point was the hotel was very close to beach and all the action. We went to the restaurants around the hotel a lot. ...........

Canto Del Sol: Great Resort

Food is always good, staff are friendly. Good bang for the buck so to speak. Location is fairly close to downtown which comes in handy if you plan on going out in the evenings. Numerous activities throughout the day and night. I have stayed at Canto Del Sol many times and will continue going back.

Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta: Awesome resort, excellent time!

The Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta was amazing! The grounds were clean and easy to manoevre around. The smaller size of the resort was awesome. Food was great, service was outstanding.The rooms were clean and a great size. We will definitely be back!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beyond expectations!

This was an amazing place for a week. Clean, friendly, excellent food, great beach for walking, fabulous pool and not crowded. It was quiet, and we were able to enjoy without being hassled at the beach or the pool. Went to the shows most nights which were very professional and enjoyable. The restaurants were great other than we heard, the Pacific express (French) was terrible from kore than one person, so we cancelled and went twice to the Japanese which was fun and very tasty, and healthy!Trip  [... read more]Central was great to book with, we watched the price and booked a couple of weeks before we went. I made a mistake and was able to get hold of Lawrence who was extremely helpful and righted my wrong! Thus vacation was just what we needed. A must go to!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Good value

Rooms are large, all have good views of the ocean, food is good, service is excellent, the beach is not the best, but the pools are well maintained. The open lobby bar is situated to allow for spectacular views of the sunset.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Had a great time

Clean. Friendly. Awesome staff including our maid who was teaching us Spanish. Beach Club was great. The little town was too cute. Some great restaraunts. Wanda'so, terriakies, tonitas one and two. Very nice place as a whole.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: All in all good experience

It was a beautiful resort, the staff was very kind and the food was amazing. Everything was very clean and lots of fun activities for kids and adults. The A/C in the room wasn't the greatest but worked slightly.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Great Get Away

We've stayed at this hotel many times over more than fifteen years and have never been disappointed. We enjoy it for what it is. The staff at Los Cocos are all very friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. Everyone from the managers, to the front desk staff, the restaurant and even the pool and cleaning staff have always tried to do their very best to make our stay enjoyable. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Best resort anywhere. Like going home on vacation

I love the decameron. Ricardo the manager made me feel wanted and at home. The staff and entertainment staff are top rate. Especially Alberto and Bryan in entertainment and the 2 Christians and Ale and Ricardo waiters and bar tenders. So many more. There is not one person employed thete that were not the best.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Everything I expected from previous reviews.

The place was impeccably maintained. I liked the six different areas to enjoy and beach was well maintained. Block 5 adults area was quiet and relaxing. As was block 6. A la cartes were very good. Room was cleaned daily to be immaculate. Staff was over the top and worked very hard everyday all the time. Night show team was very talented, best I have ever seen at a resort. We enjoyed it. Excellent value for the Canadian dollar.

Riu Flamingos: Much more than we expected!

Hotel was emaculate,updated, well cared for. Staff was always smiling, helpful and spoke great English! Never thought Mexico would be so nice. Grounds were beautiful and everything was super clean including our rooms. Loved it!

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Great resort

I surprised my wife with an anniversary trip. Now Amber is a Beautiful hotel. The only negative is that they have a ton of pigeons. I hate pigeons. Other than that everything was top notch. Great rooms, spa, food, location, service.......

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Excellent Choice

The hotel and grounds are very large with a variety of different buildings. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly. The food was very good, especially on their Mexican night. The beach was amazing and we did not have to get up earlier then normal to get a hut on the beach or an umbrella at the pool. The pool at building 5 is an adult pool that is quiet and free of kids. The only thing missing from this resort was a swim up bar in one of their many pools and a fridge in the hotel room. I  [... read more]would highly recommend doing the Rhythm of the Night excursion. The food is great, the show is even better and the Catamaran at sunset was a lot of fun. I would also recommend watching the nightly entertainment shows. The performers are very skilled and enthusiastic. Other then the nightly shows, there is not much of a night life at the hotel. I would suggests going into the city, or picking a different hotel if that is what you are looking for. We were looking for a nice relaxing vacation with good weather, an excellent beach for swimming and good food. That is exactly what this hotel has to offer.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Older Authetic MExican Resort.

The grounds were kept very clean, rooms were adequate could use some tender loving care,always clean linens and scrubbed. The service was great, the waiters at the buffet restaurant were on the run most of the time. We loved the outdoors mainly the buffet and pool. Security made sure the children stayed at the kiddies pool, and the adults only in the adult pool. It was a bit noisy when the spring break crowd hit, the last 2 days of our vacation, but I guess that's understandable.(We all were kid [... read more]s at one time too). Their was on going maintenance on the palapas & all around the resort. Would stay their again, had a wonderful friendly staff and most accommodating.!!!

Crown Paradise Club: Not Impressed

For an older resort, it was kept very clean. The serving staff were awesome, friendly and accommodating, however the information staff were often rude, and it was impossible to get reservations for the sit down restaurants.

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Fantastic with the potential for fabulous

Modern boutique hotel with modern rooms ocean facing views. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The food menu's and varieties will satisfy your taste buds for good food. The staff are very hard working, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay something special to remember. On certain days the staff in the main restaurant were overwhelmed due to a lack of servers which added to a few lengthy service delays buy hey, we're in Mexico on vacation sit back enjoy a  [... read more]cocktail and the beautiful views. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Nice Large Resort

We enjoyed this Resort. The food at the Buffets was average and could be improved to some extent, but okay overall. The bar staff for the most part were friendly and attentive. As far as the a la cart's, the Picolo, Rodizio and Jap restaurants we good with the Picolo being the best. The Mexican restaurant was horrible. The grounds were clean and quite well looked after and the entertainment was very good. The rooms we very standard and definitely need some updating. Friendly Fun Vallarta: Okay place

Was a nice resort,food was good,needed to be more informed on the resurants ,what was happening in the various locations. The entertainment could be be improved a lot. Other then that meet a lot of great people and had a lot of fun.

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Friendly Staff, Good Value, 3 star

We love the old town location right near the pier. If you want a peaceful beach location this is not it. If you enjoy people watching and want to be close to galleries and restaurants, it is great! Our standard room was quite roomy, even with a wheelchair. The hotel is old but clean, and some rooms have new draperies and mattresses. Towels were usually new feeling and looking. The safe was an extra charge. We found the buffets not huge but perfectly ample and tasty. Always at least 3 meats and a [... read more] fish dish, 3 salads, several vegetable dishes and a limited choice of cake for desert. They don't have a pasta bar or a grill for chops, etc., but there is a grill for eggs at breakfast, which has the most North American food. If you want mostly North American or other ethnic food for lunch and dinner, you may not be happy. It is a compact resort with some nice trees and flowers and lots of tile and concrete floors outside. Both dining areas and the beach are down a short flight of stairs, which was a nuisance for a wheelchair user. There was a variety of ages and ethnicities there. The adult and the family pools were both on the small side. The staff were very all friendly and accommodating. We would recommend the San Marino to those looking for a good 3 star experience. Just don't expect 5 star meals and rooms.
