Dreams Rose Hall: Beautiful Resort
Overall, we were very pleased with this resort, and will definitely go back again. Transfers to and from the airport and check-in were very good. The room was a standard hotel room, a little wear and tear showing, but very clean. The air conditioning worked great throughout the hotel. The buffet was very good, offering many choices. If you couldn't find anything to eat on this buffet, you are way too fussy. The grounds are very well manicured, lots of things to keep kids busy: waterslides, tubin[... read more]g down a lazy river, and other activities for a fee (parasailing, catamaran, etc). The drinks were very good and they did not skimp on the alcohol. There is a great coffee shop to get your early morning fix, with baked goods available to snack on. In the coffee shop, there are 4 computers available to print your airline boarding passes to come home. We had a couple of small things that concerned us. We had been advised to book the restaurants about a week before we got there, so we booked the Luna and got confirmation that we had our reservation. On the night of our reservation, we arrived at the restaurant only to find it 'closed' for the evening. When we enquired about our reservation, we were told they switched us to the Three Palms. When we asked if they had tried to contact us, we did not receive any sort of explanation. By the way, we would have had to take a shuttle to the Three Palms, which would have involved some planning had we known about the change of restaurants. That was disappointing and frustrating. Make sure you confirm with the concierge any reservations you have made in case they've done a switch-a-roo on you. The other thing I was expecting was a daily cleaning of our room like in most hotels, but here the room cleaning did not happen until two days after we arrived. Not that we needed much, but our garbage cans were full and we were running out of toilet paper. However, the bar fridge got replenished daily. All in all, a lovely place to spend a vacation but little inconveniences that you would not expect from the brand 'Hilton'.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Best trip ever!
My wife and I have been taking an annual Anniversary vacation for the past seven years and our recent visit to the Hideaway at Royalton Negril is by far the best trip we've ever had.
The property is in superior condition, the grounds are well maintained and the rooms are spectacular. The resort staff are to notch, friendly and courteous, always ensuring you are having a pleasant stay. The variety and quality of food is excellent (I can't believe how much I ate) and we spent most of our time on[... read more] the lovely beach. Great location for local attractions such as Rick's Cafe and Margaritaville and we had the option of hiring a local driver or buying a formal tour.
Looking forward to a return visit.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing trip!
Great resort. We travelled with a group of 9 ranging from 3-65. Something to do for everyone. We did 3 excursions while there. Dunn’s river tour, Bob Marley tour and an ochios Rios shopping trip, everything was close to the resort. Reaort itself was fantastic- we were a gold band so the extra perks were great. Food excellent. Beaches weren’t over crowded, always easy to find a spot. My only complaint travelling with a little one is there’s not a lot of ramps for strollers. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Fantastic Resort
I stayed at the Iberostar rose hall beach resort in Montego Bay. We visited from October 20-27. We were there for my wedding.
Location: The resort is 20 minutes from the airport which is a definite bonus. The grounds was well designed in a U-shape. Everything is in close proximity. You don't have to walk far from your room to get to the restaurants, pool, beach or lobby. There is zero garbage on the ground. The landscape is in perfect condition. Lots of tall trees, flowers, fountains and p[... read more]onds. No bugs, barely any mosquitos or bees.
Food: Our group made reservations for the steakhouse Monday, and Cajun and the Japanese restaurant for Tuesday night. The steakhouse is outdoors restaurant off the beach. The al a carte restaurants are small and spaces go fast, so make your reservation as soon as possible when you arrive rather than the day before you want to eat at the location. The food in the buffet was delicious. Every day the food had a different theme for breakfast lunch and dinner. For any guests who have allergies (such as myself) to seafood or fish, be careful. The fish dishes were placed directly beside other dishes so cross contamination from the utensils or serving tongs is possible. Note: all restaurants serve fish but the smell is not terribly overwhelming. While eating at the steakhouse, one of our guests found a chunk of plastic in her brownie, which cut her mouth. The serving staff were unsure of the source of the plastic. The chocolate Twinkies were inconsistent in texture, some soft and some rock hard making them unable to eat. Overall, the food is very tasty and flavorful. If you don’t like spices, there are many meat options that are not spicy.
The mini bars in the rooms were not restocked daily, and we had to call for extra bottles of water.
Staff: The staff was absolutely amazing. The bartenders are very kind and make sure each person is served in order without making anyone wait too long. Ask for Anthony, he makes the best drinks. The entertainment staff was the best. Shout out to Angel, Sparkles, and Macaroni. They were always by the pool and beach encouraging every one of all ages to get involved in the sports, games, and contests. The prizes and the praise are definitely worth it if you are shy.
Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was a little slow in various parts of the resort. If you are travelling with a group, I would recommend using Whats app or Facebook messenger to stay in contact with your friends and family. They work perfectly.
Pool: There is one large pool with more than enough space for everyone. The swim up bar in the in the pool was only opened for one day, the other days it was closed (probably for construction). So you have to come out of the pool and walk to the bar stand to get a drink. There was always enough beach and pool chairs.
Beach: The beach and sand are beautiful and clean. It is a long stretch shared between the 3 properties (Beaches, Suites, and Grand). The local vendors are on the beach daily, just ignore them or politely tell them to leave you alone if you don’t want to buy anything. Beware there are lots of jelly fish in the water and they do come close to the shore.
Room Service: If you order room service be warned that the food may take a while to get to your room. You can always ask for extra clean towels. Not all rooms come with door signs that please do not disturb. To avoid room service or cleaning staff from coming into your room unwanted, I highly advice to use the top latch on your door.
Entertainment: There are nightly shows in the theatre that start at 9pm. The disco is on the suites property, but it is only open Wednesday-Saturday. On some nights there is also a beach party with fire dancers.
We enjoyed our stay and would visit the Iberostar resort again.

Sunscape Cove: bad management
I was in sunscape cove from Oct.20-25. I was there for my cousin's wedding. The resort itself is in need of updating, upgrading it looks very run down. The room where I stayed had been renovated but you really couldn't tell aside from the walk in shower , which I have to say was very nice, and the modern sink there was nothing that made it feel new. The air condition was very noisy when on and made it difficult to sleep. Also there was noise of water running all the time which I couldn't figure [... read more]out what it was.The resort when new must of been really nice but now it is calling out for help. The resort was also not very full , low season I guess for them . The buffet looked empty at all meals. It was so big but not enough people eating to fill it up, which I completely understand.I do not like to see food being wasted. The food it self was very good. I ate mostly at the restaurants on the cove side and they were really good. The beach was beautiful and the view of the mountains was amazing. The worst thing about this resort was the management, they refuse to accommodate the guest with any requests. They were also rude, unfriendly, unprofessional and unwilling to resolve situations. And this attitude also reflects on all the employees who not all but most have the same attitude.
Overall Jamaica for me never again, they take advantage of tourist, no one knows anything or wants to help in any way. It is in my opinion expensive and not well maintained, dangerous and Jamaicans are unfriendly, compared to all other islands.

Royalton Hideaway Negril: Fantastic Resort
This resort was fantastic!!! Very clean, well kept grounds and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. At the adult area restaurants foods were to die for. Room service was good but food was a little cold when received. There are no microwaves in the rooms to be able to warm it up either.

Melia Braco Village: It's a wonderful paradise!!!
It's a wonderful paradise!!!
We were family of five adults that stayed at Melia Braco Village for a week.
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation without any regrets. This hotel is located approximately 50 minutes away from the Montego Bay airport.
We arrived around 10 pm at the resort and ordered room service for dinner. Although there were some flaws in our order, the service and the rest of the meal was great.
Now, I must mention about the hospitality and the customer service we received [... read more]during the entire stay.
The entire staff members were well trained and know how to treat their guests properly.
Starting off with the coconut man "Kermar" we found that he was a very polite and friendly.
Dean Paul who served us at the Prime restaurant or Sharone (she always had a beautiful smile all the time) at Rasta Pasta restaurant and all the servers and bartenders at all the restaurants and bars...all were amazing!!
Now, lets talk about food. The buffet had enough variety and amble food every day. Not a single day we missed fish. There were different varieties of fish, chicken, pork and beef and rice, veggies pasta and omelet stations, fruits and desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed the papayas. Very fresh and juicy.
As we enjoy spicy food, the menus were little bland for us. However, to compensate that they had pepper oil ( extremely spicy) and jerk sauce. So we could make any dish spicy.
Out of 4 a-la-carte restaurants, the Rasta pasta was our favorite. The drinks and cocktails at the Bar were amazing!
The resort is absolutely situated in a perfect spot. The grounds were nicely landscaped and filled with beautiful matured trees and tropical plants.
The beach....breath taking!!! The big waves were calmed down by the barrier and created "pool like" water for swimming and snorkeling.
Out of 7 days, 5 days we went for snorkeling and saw more than nine varieties of fish. And don't miss out the activities. Marlon was really helpful and friendly at zip lining.
Finally " the out of the resort experience". We took a cab from the hotel and his name was "Johnny P". He was very nice and friendly and took us two trips: one to see Montego Bay town and Blue Hole water falls. We thoroughly enjoyed the water fall and its surroundings.
If you are buying any booze, buy at the airport. Much cheaper than anywhere else. We got ripped off at the shopping centre.
Pros: mentioned all already😄
Cons:
Wished the hotel property allowed us to walk along the shore not limited to their property.
Overall we had the perfect vacation!!!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: great resort for kids
The rooms were not real clean, (maybe they need better vacuum cleaners). Towels were not always replaced although the used ones were taken away. Placed generally seemed understaffed.
