Melia Costa Rey: The Pullman

The Hotel is quite lovely. The rooms were clean. We had a number of issues with our toilet and it was always promptly fixed. My daughter and I both got quite sick throughout the week and we weren't sure if it was from the food. On the last day I was violently ill and had to access to the doctor and nurse care on site and both were incredibly kind and helpful. The pools were clean but slightly cold. The beach was fantastic.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Beautiful beach

This resort is very small and cosy. Some rooms are update some are not. The food is ok Very little selection of veggies and fruit. The beaches are amazing. Alcohol selection is not good. The main bar had better vodka for one day. (Absolut). The CUBAN people are so friendly. Customer service elien. Probably spelled name wrong was super nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Melia Cayo Coco: Friendly and relaxing!

2nd time at this resort but so many others we met have been there many times. The staff are amazing! They enjoy what they do and you can easily see the friendships they have formed with repeat guests. The food is great, the rooms are clean, the beach is beautiful and the entertainment is very good!! Can’t wait to go back👍

Sol Cayo Coco: Awesome

Great resort from checking in very efficient great room great staff above average food nice to see new manager around resort speaking to guests and staff quick response when I had a problem in my room which wasn't really a problem I just didn't know what I was doing but they showed me great night entertainment would definitely recommend I will be back keep up the good work

Melia Costa Rey: Nice Resort Lacking Services

Stayed at the resort the beginning of Dec/19. Was dark upon arrival and had a hard time finding our room. Pathways were not well lit and building numbers hard to find (hidden in the scrubs). Without water for over 7 hrs one day and then again the following day for several hours. Never any hot water only warm. Beach was okay but no low and high tides. Most days could not see the bottom. Food sitting out for too long. Italian and Seafood restaurant were good. Lacking customer service at th [... read more]e front desk. Had to go back to the desk 4 times due to card issues to get in our door and staff at desk did not seem to care. The hotel is only 4 years old and many things are in need of repair but repairs are happening. If you go to Cuba for the sun, swimming in pools and hanging out at the bars then this resort is good.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Fantastic resort

Fantastic family resort! You will not be disappointed! The service, the room the beach, restaurants everything... we will highly recommend this resort. Highlights: horse back riding on the beach, the Indian restaurant, the churro cart and fresh coconut on the way to the stunning beach>

Comme la plupart des hôtels à Cuba - belle construction, mais pas très bien maintenu. Belles chambres spacieuses et propres, mais les détails... A l'arrivée pas d'eau chaude, le display de l'air conditionne n'affiche pas la température, pas de pancarte "Ne pas déranger " etc. Mais le service très bon, tout se fait. Melia Jardines del Rey: Great service!!!

Great and easy booking experience with Hayley at TripCentral, highly recommend. Our third time to Melia Jardines del Rey and it was the best yet. The staff was exceptionally attentive and the beaches were as good as ever. We don't go there for the food, but rather for the weather, people and beaches which were top notch as always.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Amazing resort and amazing beach!

The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is gorgeous and has a lot of available shade to settle around. The ocean is nice and shallow for a while so one can always swim regardless of wind. Lots of kite boarders makes for beautiful scenery. Great people and just overall absolutely amazing time. Not one complaint! Even the food was very good!

Gran Muthu Imperial: Amazing resort

we had a great time at this resort. The entertainment team were fun, they kept us involved in activities & shows. All the staff were very pleasant, we would go back to this adults only resort. made friends there as well.

Gran Muthu Imperial: A Disappointing Let Down for a “Five Star” Resort

The biggest disappointment was the fact that the beach was extremely filthy, not only was the beach covered with seaweed but was also littered with trash. Ruining the beach experience and in extension the vacation. The staff did nothing to clean the beach, garbage remained on the shore for several consecutive days. As for the room; the bathroom was not adequately maintained. Throughout our stay, hair remained in the shower drain for the entire duration. However, the ocean view was great and coffee was very good at the bar. Bar staff were also friendly and very nice. In addition, the pool was adequate and pool staff were also friendly.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Fantastic Resort!

This resort was fantastic! Grounds were in immaculate condition. Staff were super friendly and accommodating! Food was good. The beach and pools were beautiful. Restaurants were very clean. Kids club was always in pristine condition.

Melia Cayo Coco: Best resort in Cuba

Everything was just top notch, from the booking process with Tracey Weldon-Duffin who has always been so helpful to our flight home. It is a smaller hotel which we prefer. Food was excellent and way above Cuban standards. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. We phoned maintenance about a drip when we went to breakfast. Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Amazing Vacation!

We had a wonderful time at the Gran Caribe Club Cayo Guillermo. The resort is an older resort but extremely well maintained. The grounds were well maintained and clean. The pools crystal clear. The beach beautiful with the ability to walk in both directions quite far. It is a beach frequented by kite surfers so lots to watch! The main pool has a wonderful pool bar with an excellent grille for hamburger, fries, etc. The drinks great. The buffet was very good and although my expectations of the food were very low going into the trip I was very pleasantly surprised. There were two a la carte restaurants that rotated between Italian, Asian and Mediterranean and every meal proved to be amazing. Our room was well equipped with towels, toilet paper and an ongoing supply of bottled water - no issues. The staff at this resort were extremely friendly and we got a real sense of family feel with them. We met "George" who looks like George Clooney at the 2nd pool and he and the young bartender/server that he worked with (I forget his name) were amazing. We also loved Michael and Alex who were part of the Entertainment Team whom we loved. We took the hop on/hop off bus and went to Pilar Beach for 5 pesos. We also had an amazing lunch there ... check out the lobster. The best part of this trip actually was meeting some amazing couples (most of whom have visited Cuba and this particular resort several times). We have met friends that we will hopefully keep in touch and have for life. The hotel is in the process of changing ownership ... and they were doing ongoing surveys to obtain feedback from the guests on what could be done better. I am not sure if it was just the season ... but we did experience some "no see em" bites so bring some mosquito spray -

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: One of my favorite resorts in Cayo Coco

This is my second time going to Memories Caribe Beach Resort. The beach and the pool are second to none. Foremost, the staff at the resort is professional, polite, respectful, and considerate. Management is always on hand if you require assistance or need to resolve any issues. The Asian, Mediterranean and the Cuban restaurants are classy and serves very good food. Entertainment during the day and evening is packed to the fullest. You need not be bored at this resort. In all of Cayo Coco resorts [... read more], Memories Caribe is one of my favorites. Note: it didn't seem that the upgrades between the Diamond Club and being a regular guess were that noticeable. The best bang for your buck is go as a regular guest.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great Resort

Beautiful resort, property well maintained. Nice beach. Rooms were very clean and spacious. This is a family resort, no pool area without kids. Activities Team very friendly and entertaining. Food is typical Cuban food, dont expect gourmet. Fresh fish and meats grilled were very good. Would return to this resort .

Grounds were nice, beach really good. Al la carts very good. Buffet got old. Didn't feel very welcoming on staff or customer service, lacking on that department. Did get a little better as the week went on though.

Pros: Great resort, great playground area for kids, decent food selection, clean and modern rooms, good entertainment for adults and kids, layout of pools with beach background was very appealing Cons: Buffet chairs have cushions that stain easily and have big dirty spots on them (not appealing), beach is a bit of a walk off the resort (appears as though it's right behind the main pools but actually have to walk somewhere off to the side to get to beach), other resorts in cayo coco had larg [... read more]er food options, not all drinks on menu are available (asked for bloody Mary but don't have tomato juice available), hotel requires deposit for beach towels in pesos so you lose on exchange and then at the end of your stay you lose again when changing the deposit back to canadian money (deposit on towels is unnecessary and it shouldn't be a profitable function)

Hotel Playa Coco: Hotel Playa Coco

This was our 9th time to this resort. we love it there!! The beach is beautiful, you can walk for miles if you want to or sit on you butt. The food is good, we have never lost weight when we go. The rooms are good. If you want to find things wrong you will. Go with an open mind and you will have a great time. Treat people the way you want to be treated!!

Hotel Camino del Mar: DON"T GO !!!

The grounds were nice and the staff were great. The place was run down and the sheets were stained. Almost had to beg for coffee pods for the room. The resort was only one third full and it ran out of baileys and whiskey for two days. We have traveled a fare amount and this was the worst food we ate, we lost weight when we came home. Sand flee bites us all week. The only thing that was great was the beach.
