Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Love the service and food

Big thanks to Angel and Jose in the Kukulcan buffet for making our breakfasts and lunch most enjoyable for my wife and daughter and I. Our sixth stay, always a good one, the rooms are getting a little older and the sargassum problem makes the beach terrible but otherwise another great stay. The beach and pools can not be categorized in the same column, the pools are great, the beach is terrible. They have 50 people and heavy machinery removing the seaweed daily. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: lifetime memories

it was our 3rd trip to this amazing chain and we will do it a million more times, amazing people, amazing food lots of choices. We celebrated my mother-in-law 82nd birthday and we did not have to worry about her moving around wheelchair was there when we needed it, we did not have to worry about cleanest spot less corner to corner. view from our room was breathtaking. amazing shows for adults and children. love u guys!!!!!!!!! PS: love the no straws and no disposable cups idea.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Loved it’

Grounds are immaculate, hotel is clean and well kept, all areas a joy! Entertainment was top notch and food was glorious! Best vacation ever. Not to forget amazing staff everywhere and treat you as family, can’t wait to bring our family back with us next time, which hopefully it very soon, love Bahia principle!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: One of the highlights of our travel history!

This resort was amazing! Stayed at the Bahia Principe Bavaro in December 2018 and the Aquamarine was outstanding in comparison. We were astounded considering it was all on the same huge complex. The environment was immaculate - they even washed the road/walkways - every day! The gardens, lobbies, pools, all surrounding areas were stunning. Jambalya cooked on the beach every day! Staff were smiling and friendly most of the time - not so much at Bavaro. The beach was spectacular. Lots of palapas, lots of beach chairs, lunch restaurants right on beach, beach bar and waiters who delivered to your beach chair. Constant supply of clean, dry beach towels. Loved this resort and we plan to return this year in December! Our only complaint was the beds in our otherwise perfect room. The mattresses were terrible. We should have asked to have them switched out. We will see if there is a difference in December.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing Resort

Everything about the resort was amazing. The facilities, the staff, the food was all great! My only complaint was that the beds felt like you were sleeping on cement. Despite the beds I am definitely going back there. I have been going to Punta Cana for eighteen years and the Aquamarine is right up there at the top in my opinion!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: it is an oka resort not the best

The only reason l am giving my opinion is because l have a travel and hotel degree and have been to many islands and resorts so l can easily do the comparison. The resort itself is pretty and very clean. The landscaping is up to date and everything looks fresh. I am used to getting checked in, getting my room key and unpacking just as you would expect to do, however it did not go down that way. Check your bracelet because l wasn't the only one where it didn't work. My combination on my safe never worked neither so l couldn't get at my money until someone came and fixed it and yes it was much, much later. Now if you want to go to the beach or the pool you must get up no later than 7:00AM or you WILL NOT GET a lounge chair, cabania or tent ANYWHERE. l Wish someone would have told me this but by the 3rd day l caught on and believe me when l tell you that when you walk to the pool or down by the beach with your towel you will see tons of towels on lounges claiming that spot., Every one must be setting their alarm before 7AM. I know by now that when you go to a different place things like this happen so l tried to brush it off. Went to dinner came back and no room cleaned. It finally got cleaned 2 days later!!!! What do you do when they tell that they forgot. They have specialty restaurants at this resort but if you want to go to any of them you have to book the minute you get down there or they will be gone and you get only the buffet. On my second night l wanted to book the Brazilian and told it was all gone and so where all the others and all they could do was say sorry about that. The problem is even though l mentioned it to the manger (because not too many speak english) he seemed concerned but just pushed it forward on to his workers who didn't follow through, so by now I look like l am the one doing the complaining. So l suppose at this resort you have to accept the fact that it does not have the greatest service, they try hard but that's it. One more thing even though it has 24 concierge service it is very poor. One night l ask for a blanket had to call 8 times before l got through and then they came he had a sheet in a bag and never spoke on word of english. I finally got my blanket the last day l was leaving, what a joke. The majority of money comes from Canada and U.S so you would assume that this resort would have more english speaking workers. This hotel needs a lot more organization and I would rate this at best a 3 star.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: One of the greatest time in my life

I went to this hotel to celebrate a friends wedding. Unfortunately for me I wasn’t able to book the same nights off as the rest of the party, so I would arrive two days earlier; alone. Luckily though I still had an incredible time because not only of the amazing staff helping me out, but also the guests were also very friendly. I probably had a better time my first nights than I did with the wedding guests. I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. ¡Viva Mexico!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Resort!

Resort was large but lots of carts to pick you up if you didn’t want to walk. Lots of activities daily. Rooms were clean but smelled very musty. Air conditioner wasn’t working great but with the fan on it was okay.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Relaxing vacation!

We enjoyed our 10 day vacation April 28 to May 8 at Acquamarine. Our room was clean and spacious with a king bed on 3rd floor. We like top floor for the quiet location but you must take the stairs. We had hot water and clean towels daily. Surprised to find that there is no liquor provided in the mini bar fridge (pop and water only) and no slippers or robes provided now. The food could have been more variety but there was always something to satisfy you at the buffet. The al la cartes were very g [... read more]ood for the most part. The pool was lovely and clean. The beach area we took a shuttle to get to but you could walk there in 8 mins or so. Beach chairs were plentiful although you sat at the back if you went later in the morning. The drink servers there were friendly. The bar was just at the back corner very handy if you preferred to get up and order your own beverage. Ocean water was refreshing (although a little "seaweedy") but can't really control that. The drinks were good. Good brands of vodka and rum.However more well known brands of scotch, whiskey, liqueurs you have to pay extra for (Chivas, Black Label Glenlivet, Drambuie, Kahlua, Grand Marnier etc.) The entertainment at night was hit and miss but something to pass the time. The weather was sunny and warm with a light breeze most days so we were super happy to be there then. Perfect no, but relaxing and enjoyable to be pampered by friendly, courteous people if you don't sweat the little things.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

The resort was great. The grounds are always kept clean and grass was always cut and watered. At night the grounds looked beautiful with the lights and you can see where your walking to. The staff was very attentive and always there when you needed something. We had the swim out room which is a new feature at the resort and it was an amazing thing to have because the pool closed at 6:00 pm. Great touch.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful Resort

The buffet near the infinity pool was very good, excellent service. Rooms in this section nice,clean. Staff were all very friendly, provided excellent service. A la carte restaurants all good - the Italian restaurant the best! Liked going to the different sections of the Bahia resort, but not enough time to explore everything. The kids (young adults) enjoyed the disco at La Hacienda. The entertainment was good. We enjoyed the shows in our own section and didn't need to go far to see the show. [... read more] Beach in the luxury section small, rocky and lots of seaweed, which they worked hard to remove every day. I would definitely come back to this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing vacation @ Esmeralda!

We had a fabulous time at the Esmeralda! Everything was so convenient - the beach, the buffet and restaurants! The staff was so accommodating and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the front desk was fast and courteous and concerned if we were hungry and quick to point us in the direction of the buffet as it was getting ready to close for the evening! I would go back in a heartbeat!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Absolutely wonderful

The hotel was beautifully decorated.Very modern. The room was equally as nice. Our king size bed and the bedding was rich and luxurious.The buffet was the best.We ate our breakfast there daily.The beach was so beautiful,but we spent most of our time at the pool where we met so many new couples and enjoyed their company.Our dinners were to die for.Never before have we had meals that we completely enjoyed.The waitresses and waiters were so very attentive that I still miss their pampering.Our maid  [... read more]was Ruth was also so good to us and so efficient.We absolutely enjoyed our vacation!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort!

Rooms, grounds, public areas all clean. Food was great! Shuttle services super convenient. A lot of seaweed at the beach, so we stayed at the pools. Pools were nice and A la cart dinners were amazing!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing resort!!!

Big resort but never felt overcrowded. Beautiful resort. Everything was clean and modern. Lots of great a la carte's to choose from. Food was amazing. Always was able to find a chair either by the pool or the beach. The staff were great and very friendly. I would definitely return!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fabulous resort

We enjoyed our the stay, the food was fantastic the staff was A+, Luis in the buffet was very attentive. The grounds were well kept, rooms lovely very clean great AC. The trolley service was fast and efficient, the pools were clean and the water warm. Bring bug spray you are in the tropics after all. We would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Grand Baha'i Principe Sian Kaan

The people at this resort are the absolute best. The resort is amazing. The people are the reason I keep going back.The ladies at Trip central in Micmac mall Dartmouth NS...are at the top of their game. Thanks to all for a wonderful vacation.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Average resort

Average resort. Did not think it earned 5 stars. Resort was outdated. Housekeeping required specific instructions to complete tasks. After 11pm only bar open is at the disco which is 3 minutes down the road. Lobby bar is not even open. Inconvenient when you just want to stay in lobby and play games/chat/ watch tv.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Incredible Resort!

Had such an amazing Time at this resort, everything was incredible from the food to the service and the events offered at night! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my trip to Mexico! The resort was even kind enough to give me a discount for an extra night because of my flight being canceled. Everything was incredible! The worst part about it is that you won’t want to go back home!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Not As Expected

The resort wasn’t exactly as we thought. The rooms were sub par, and service was meh. We asked for more water on multiple occasions and we only ever got 1 bottle, sometimes not even restocked. We were constantly haggled but people around the resort and the workers on the resort, and even had my rings stolen from the room. Luckily the pools and beaches were amazing and the weather was incredible to make up for it.
