Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Very nice resort!

This was my first time going to Perto Plata, and I liked the fact that I chose this resort. 1. The food was good, there was always a different variety every night. 2. There was always something going on, so if you decide to take a break from laying on the beach- there was entertainment during the day, evening and night. 3. The rooms were nice, and staff very friendly.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Fantastic Resort

Just returned from Iberostar Lindo in the Mayan Riviera.....had a great holiday with my Daughter... I love this resort...Staff are very helpful, pleasant and hard working...property is beautiful...well maintained..our room was very clean and well stocked..including various drinks in the fridge...We stayed in building 51 which was near the pools and not far from the beach...lots of shaded areas for those who do not like sun around the pool..but the same for the sun lovers...grass covered shades  [... read more]are plentiful on the beach and around the pool...pool was rather chilly..but on a hot day...who cares..you get used to it..the sea was warmer...and not too rough while we were there..sandy, clean , minimal seaweed...and was whisked away by the tractor rakes daily.....we stayed around the pool most afternoons.my daughters choice.lots of activity going on for anyone who wanted to get involved..tremendous bar service poolside by staff ...most days Angela was our server..she was fantastic..friendly and courteous..the inpool bar was inviting too.. Beds were comfortable..many eating areas to select from during the day...plentiful fruit ..and food selections...we enjoyed the speciality restaurants we went to..especially Japanese.. This is a large resort and we were near the beach..there are many golf cart like buses that travel around and you can just hop on and get to destination..alternately you can call for one ..there is one or two Conceirges available in each building, so makes things like booking specialty restaurants easy...getting a ride....as well as passing any concerns to the right department. There is a “shopping plaza” on the grounds that has a few stores ....but there also is a small casino located there..a disco if you have interest..a place where kids can get cotton candy and other sweets which is included in your package.. a merry-go-round.. ...as well as a fantastic crepe bar..we loved that place..yum..also a place to get your speciality coffees and latees etc..donuts and sandwiches..’(there also is another coffee shop like this open 24 hrs a day just through the main lobby to the left in the Lindo) Transportation was on time and efficient to and from the airport... A+

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Beautiful resort

Just got home from Iberostar Tainos in Veredaro. My daughter and I went for a relaxing get away. We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was beautiful. Weather was in the eightys. We loved the food but mostly we love the Cubans. Such sweet people. When we were leaving we gave so many hugs to all. Such warm hospitality

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Amazing resort!!

Had so much fun here. The staff is amazing and the resort is beautiful. They made my first time in cuba Amazing!! I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone travelling to Cuba alone or in a group.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: WONDERFUL RESORT

This adult all inclusive is a great place to stay with a variety of eating places and activities throughout the day IF you choose to attend or be part of. The Kiniro Japanese was our favorite restaurant, not only from the food selection but the entertainment provided at the cooking tables. We also went twice to Es Palau...their fish was amazing. The Galleon had great meat selection...Port Maria was our go to for breakfast and lunch....The Cornwall had an amazing selection also for breakfast [... read more] and dinner.....La Toscana was their Italian restaurant....they should change the name because IT WAS NOT ITALIAN...we were very disappointed with the food and cancelled our last night there, and chose the Cornwall. Our suite was amazing...and always looked after...the beach was beautiful and clean...the pools were nice...If you love golf you should play The Witch and Cinnamon Hill...the views are inspiring...the fairways could use more grass...putting areas were good. Nightly entertainment was very good.

The hotel was nice resort was small Service was slow The prestige bar was great but other areas was not so much Lots of rain , making the areas very slippery Food was ok but not the best I have had in Dominican Lots of cats running around the dinning areas

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Family Friendly Resort

The grounds and public areas are clean and well maintained. Rooms are great! There is a step down so be careful if you have really little ones but there is a light so you can see it at night. They do provide apt-sized cribs, good for babies but too small for kids over 1.5yrs old. My only frustration was constantly needing to request plastic cups for my 2 year olds. Everything is glass! Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Great resort!!

Enjoyed our stay!! Loved the 2 bedroom hut Very friendly staff Good food!! Was a little confusing after dark as there are many pathways to get to the rooms wish there was more lights on these paths. That is our only concern Great entertainment and no fighting for beach chairs and poolside Lots of seating!! Would definately go here again. 15 minutes from the airport was a real bonus

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Will not be Returning

We were at this resort from December 27th 2018 to January 3rd 2019. Beach was beautiful, staff were friendly and overall we had a great trip. However since coming home 3 out of the 4 of us who went on this trip have all been very sick. We have all gone to doctors and been diagnosed with gut infections, parasites and Salmonella and are now all on antibiotics. Due to this we do not reccomend this resort and we will not be returning. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: An ok resort

It is clear that this resort was a beauty ,when new,but naw it looks and feels very neglected,wich is a pity.Graunds are amasing,clean well kept,beautifully desined,beach second to none,rooms a dated and furniture is broken,but bathrooms are very large and comfy,food was very bad at the beginning,improved by the end of our stay,housecleaning not good at all,had to fight for clean towels every day,staff is friendly trying to please.overall good vocation for the money ,also weather was amasing the [... read more] whole time,that helped.but will look for something different next time.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Very happy

the hotel was very nice. The service was great from all of the staff. They were very helpful, friendly, and willing to help wherever they could. I'm happy we chose this place. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The pools were very nice and clean.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Not the best

This resort is big and has nice rooms with on and off hot water available for showers. Elevators are hit or miss, either take a long time to arrive or once you’re in, takes about 15 seconds for doors to close. Wifi cards for one hour of internet are available for one peso. Food is ok but has no taste and waiters in the à la carte restaurants do not speak any english. Activities and nightlife are a big zero. You never know when something is going on so you will probably miss it. You have to go [... read more] into to town at night for dancing or bar with music. Staying at the lobby bar is your only hotel option and unless you like watching bartenders make drinks than it’s pretty boring. This is a good hotel for people who want a quiet vacation to sleep eat and take in the sun. Go to the beach before 9am because they all go put towels to reserve their chairs. Pool area is the same. I would never come back here.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Great Resort, Amazing People and Beautiful Beach!

My boyfriend and I just recently stayed at the Iberostar Bella Vista during the second week of January. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the perfect size! The staff are amazing, all of them are so welcoming and try their hardest to ensure your vacation is as relaxing as possible. The beach is beautiful, water is the perfect colour blue and so clear, the sand perfect white. The drink are sooo good! Enjoyed every drink they made for me. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Excellent resort

We stayed for one week at the beginning of December. The resort is around 90 min bus drive from the airport. On our return to Canada, we drove in the earlier afternoon and could see the coast way as well as the Cuban towns. The tour guide was quite knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our return bus drive. The weather was excellent. There six in our party and we had 2 rooms. Hotel (family part) The rooms were large. There was a separate closet in each room, which was very convenient for stor [... read more]ing our suitcases. The bathrooms were big, with a separate bath tub, shower cabin and toilet. There was always hot water and very good water pressure. The balconies were big and nice. Furniture may have needed some updating but it was in decent shape. Buffet restaurant. Very nice impression. There were always fresh fruits and variety of good-quality cheeses. On the weekend, there were lobsters and they never run out of them. The grill stations had seafood and meat. For the first time in Cuba, we enjoined our steak. The buffet is large and we did never experienced long lines during our stay. Beach. There are two beaches and both are really good. The second beach (further from the family part of the resort) is really spectacular and was our favorite; it slopes slowly and was ideal for our daughter. The two beaches are separated by some land, by which there are some corals. This was an ideal place for snorkeling; I saw two octopuses, a lobster and various fish. In fact, this was the best off-beach snorkeling I have experienced in Cuba. Caution: earlier in the morning (around 7am) and later in the afternoon (after 5pm), I was bitten by biting midges (no-see-ums) on the second beach, when staying close to the vegetation. These insects are almost invisible but there bites are quite itchy (some people are sensitive and some are immune to their bites). Pool. The pool was well maintained. There were water slides next to the pool and our daughter really enjoyed them. We will definitely go back to the resort.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing Resort

This is one of the best Resorts we've stayed at period, the room was fantastic and roomy, we were on the main floor with a nice patio, the grounds were impeccably well kept, the staff was wonderful and very attentive, the pools were great and so was the sandy beach. There seemed to be a bar everywhere, in all the pool areas, in the lobby, a 24 hour bar / snack-bar downstairs and another one by the pool by our room. Nice resort overall, with exception of small details: old non renovated rooms are bad smelly with the balcony door that never closed, changed rooms 3 times until got what we requested. Got 100 Black flies bites from tennis court and/or the theater area...

Food was the best I’ve ever had, staff was amazing, hotel super clean everything was top shelf. Our agent was super helpful (Sue Snider) and we are going to use her again. The room we had was absolutely beautiful

The service was fantastic. Very attentive. Warm and friendly staff. Butler service A+ Restaurants plenty and food delicious. The StarPrestige option lived up to its billing. Private beach relaxing and excellent service. The golf courses: White Witch and Cinnamon Hill were excellent. Both in great condition. Caddies knowledgeable and fun.

room was not ready when we arrived at 10pm no toilet paper only one beach towel, staff replaced once we called, no hot water first day, staff fixed when asked to food was better than expected good for Cuba beach excellent no trouble getting lounge as well as beach area bar staff was good

The resort was nice. Very astetically pleasing. The food was not all that good, for a 4.5 star. The Japanese restaurant was by far the best. The beach was beautiful, the pool area was also great! Overall good resort but for the money a little over priced as we went in January
