Pineapple Beach Club: worth every dollar, fantastic place to vacation at.

The resort was just big enough to enjoy nice entertainment in the evenings, not big line ups for food and the a la carte restaurants out of this world. Michelin star quality food. rooms could use some updating (beach front rooms) however, the cleanliness and location more then made up for it. Staff was cordial and resort grounds very secure and kept very clean. Can't wait to visit again

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Very nice resort

Overall it was very nice. We stayed at the Royalton in St.Lucia and Jamaica previous years and we liked them better than this one. While Antigua was very nice it wasn't at the same standard as the others. The room was not as nice, no big shower or Jacuzzi in the room like the other Royaltons but still nice. This was also the first time in 13 years of going to the Caribean for our anniversary that there was no acknowledgement of any kind. Also missed not having the Japanese restaurant. The food was excellent but we were looking forward to a teppanyaki meal. Beach was beautiful and always had lounge chairs available. This is still a great resort but not quite to the standard of the others we've been to.

Pineapple Beach Club: Decent resort

Grounds are well maintained. Service is excellent. Beach is very nice. Public areas are fine except for the main lobby, where most of the time terribly loud music is played and there is no way to have any conversation or relax there.

St James Club and Villas: Very nice spot

St James Club in Antigua is a great location. They have the whole peninsula and its all very well-groomed, accommodation is very nice. The beaches are groomed daily, removing the little seaweed that does wash up. Rooms very clean and air-conditioned. The food is good and in good quantity. The booze is ok, the beer is a local beer which was ok, the wine was subpar IMHO. They did have premium liquors and of course very nice rums. The mix (pop) is fountain pop so it makes a drink taste a bit diffe [... read more]rent than if you used canned Coke here at home. Making reservations at the a la carte restaurants is easy, a quick phone call the day before. Watersports are available daily. Sunwing Airline was fine, its pretty tight but they all are these days, same as Rouge etc. They do board at an infield terminal which means a bus ride from Terminal 3 to the infield Terminal which adds about 10 minutes each way. No food or booze is supplied free, it's all available at cost, again, same as most airlines these days. The airport in Antigua is very modern, smaller and a breeze to get through.

Pineapple Beach Club: What an Amazing getaway

I can’t say enough about this resort. Fantastic meals and service. Beach front room could use some updating however the cleanliness and the sound of the waves hitting the shore all night more then made up for it, The Mid week beach party/dinner was definitely the highlight of our week stay. Will recommend this resort to friends and family

Pineapple Beach Club: Disappointment

We were quite surprised to see that the resort was run down considering Elaina said she was just there. The staff was not friendly and the resort is better suited for people in their late sixties or early seventies as there was not much to do after dinner. Only 2 restaurants on the resort and food was a 5 at best. The weather however was fantastic. I would not return to this resort nor would I book another vacation with Elaina.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Beautiful Island, subpar compared to other Sandals

- perfect unbelievable emerald coloured water, clear sand, perfect weather (went in Feb) - service was 3-4 star - food menu was 4 star, no change, not super flavourful, expect more from sandals - entertainment was 3 stars

Royalton CHIC Antigua: Sand, sun, and surf!!!!

The hotel was exactly what I was hoping for...very clean well maintained grounds, friendly and helpful staff. The food was good, selection was ok. I can’t say anything bad, because for the value it was great and I had a fabulous time.

Hammock Cove Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

Every aspect of this resort was fantastic.!! Very tranquil and quiet. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The food was varied and tasty with a different selection every night. The rooms were spacious with our own ambassador.

Jolly Beach Antigua: Starfish Jolly Beach Resort (In need of an upgrade).

The Hotel building is very old and run-down, which in my opinion needs to be closed down and rebuilt in the not too distant future. The water runs outside the bedroom doors in places and in the bathroom of my room, the toilet only flushed after approx. 2-4 times of pushing down the handle, which incidentally was located in the WALL. Subsequently, there was water on the floor of the bathroom every day. Towards the end of the week at 10:30pm, this toilet began flushing on its own, followed by a k [... read more]nock on the door which turned out to be two maintenance men (who were flushing the toilet from outside) coming to check a complaint about running outside and suggesting they come and fix the toilet. At 10:30pm when it wasn't working all week, I don't think so!!! We suggested they come back in the morning,which I don't believe happened. In the main area washroom one day, rain water was pouring from the ceiling into a pail. Other area's of the building including the main dining area also had many holes in the ceiling. I personally did not like the high volume of voices in the main dining area caused I suspect by the low ceiling, which made it virtually impossible to carry on a conversation during an entire meal. I also personally found the beach bar too loud during the afternoons. The food was pretty good; evening entertainment good; and I give 100% for staff service and pleasant manner.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Great service!

Beautiful resort, well maintained and clean and safe. Food was very good and servers were very polite and attentive. Lovely beach and nice pools. Went scuba diving from Aqua centre. Staff were very nice, unfortunately the coral around Antigua is bleached, sad to see. Great dive boat.

Pineapple Beach Club: Return Visit

Travelled with 2 other friends for our 2nd holiday here. We loved it last year and decided to return. Lots of guests were familiar faces from last year. We actually had the same couple beside us again. We stayed in the beachfront rooms that were just steps from the beach. Some updates had been done to the room. Painted, new dresser and head boards. Very laid back resort without all the glitz and marble. The staff is great and truly want you to have a great stay.

Ocean Point Resort and Spa: Nice, simple place with an intimate feel

Though not as grand as Sandals or Riu, this place is clean, eith 2 nice pools and a great beach. There are no vendors bothering you on the beach. The owners have a few cats running around. It's intimate and friendly and the food is great. If you need 10 buffet stations though, you will be disappointed. The Italian guests are very loud and they all smoke. Stay downwind of them. There are plenty of chairs but make sure you get a tall palapa. You WILL hit your head on the small ones. The w [... read more]alls are thick and the service is attentive.

Royalton CHIC Antigua: Starfish Halcyon Cove

Our first visit to Antigua. We read reviews before we came. We like to be open minded and judge for ourselves. Several things were confirmed , the staff are very pleasant and hard working. From all the people in the restaurant, cleaning staff, reception, taxis, beach , to the non stop demands on the bartenders we were made to feel welcome! The food and drinks are great! We never wanted for anything. The grounds are well maintained. Everything from rooms to eating areas and beach were clean. The [... read more] pier restaurant is very cool, watched a school of snook feeding and jumping from our seats. We took the time to walk up the hill to the old restaurant overlooking Dickenson beach and beyond. Well worth the panoramic pictures I got! If you’re worried about a cracked tile or some chipped paint try Sandals next door.

Ocean Point Resort and Spa: Perfect get away

If you want a quiet, relaxing, quaint resort this one is perfect. Food, staff, drinks, cleanliness of rooms and resort were great. Pool area was good beaches are a little small but private. Perfect for what we were looking for. Great stay.

Jolly Beach Antigua: Sunquest and resort need help

Sun quest rep did not help at all,although upgraded room was paid for we did not receive,rep did not even help in any way. Rooms outdated,beach lovely,restaurant on beach fantastic. They need more servers at bars and bartender at bar at entertainment could be friendlier

No one goes out of their way at all,sunwing rep. Was no help at all,not enough staff,our rooms were not cleaned until 4 in the afternoon,one day not at all,showers were not working beds were day beds the beach was great ,charge for water in bottles and safe key ,this place is so wrong

Jolly Beach Antigua: Needs extensive repairs

Grounds are beautiful well kept. Pool was very nice and beach was amazing. The rooms need major work. Toilets leak, hot water handle in shower didn’t work, no water pressure, no hot water. Electrical plugs are in the wall sideways and no plugs fit in them even took two converters for electricity that wouldn’t fit. Bedspread have been so well used that the colour is faded. No drawers in the room to unpack your clothes. They nickel and dime you for everything. Pay for safe key, pay for a cof [... read more]fee maker in the room. Needed an extension cord and was told it would be $20 if not returned. The staff is amazing except for the front desk clerks who are miserable especially Yvonne. Food wasn’t bad mostly chicken and fish, but always had different salads

Jolly Beach Antigua: Holiday Travel

The Starfish Jolly Resort is somewhat tired as far as the rooms are concerned,however the beach is excellent,the staff was amazing,and the food was great. There was a great variety of drinks and the entertainment was 2nd to none. We really had a great time! Jolly Beach Antigua: Relaxing vacation

As usual the vacation was too short. This Starfish Jolly Beach Resort and Spa in Antique is located on a beautiful beach, the staff warm, friendly and accommodating. Hotel and rooms are dated, but clean. Great selection of food and drinks. Sunwing Rep, Shana was very helpful with all our inquiries.
