Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Amazing hotel with great staff!
I have been told Cuba for 14 times and have made a point to always try a different hotel. After having visited Vila Gale Paredon in 2024, I was so impressed with its beauty, cleanliness, and beaches that I booked again for 2025. The hotel is about 2 years old so everything is new and in good working order. The rooms that look to the the pool also have a magnificent view of the ocean if you are on floor 2 and 3. The staff are very accommodating and friendly as with all Cubans. They are al [... read more]
Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Amazing Resort
Public area, Dining Rooms, Restuarants area Excellent Grounds could take some upgrades. Wonderfuul pleasant staff all over the property. My one and only bad encounter was with the lady in the Money exchange booth, she was rude, aloft and very condescending. She has ablsolutely no customer Service qualities.
Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Pictureque
Grounds were okay could take a bit of an upgrade Staff is wonderful... all staff The lady in the money Exchange is not a pleasant lady that was my one and only sourface approach and she was very rude
Melia Jardines del Rey: Have never been treated so poorly in my life
arrived at Melia Jardines Del Rey on Sept 1 st. When I arrived at Melia I was told I had three rooms in various names Gwendolen Schultz, Samantha Leigh , Elizabeth Schultz. They called me by my wrong name at all times while addressing me. The food was horrendous. Tony Tony the sun wing representative knew I was not happy with my vacation so he offered to send me to Tryp for the remaining vacation. Samantha left Sept 8. When Sam was checked out they had deactivated my room key and told me to retu [... read more]
Playa Luxury Cayo Guillermo: Amazing beach and great service
The resort is located at playa pillar a spectacular beach with white sand and pristine turquoise water. Beautiful resorts great service and great food - lovely people and amazing drinks - the cigar lounge and the Spanish coffee experience is a must
Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Perfect Beach
Worst food we ever had in Cuba very salty and hot food were cold. Our 5th time in Cuba and 1st 5 star resort we stayed as recommended but it was the worst experience we had. Some staff were miserable & rude. The only best thing at this Resort is the Beach.
Valentin Cayo Cruz: Great vacation
The hotel is beautiful well distributed, the restaurant a la carte are nicely decorated, the service was very good and professional, and Jonathan servicio al client make our vacaciones very comfortable, I will recommend this hotel, great experience
Hotel Mojito: Hotel mojito- Cayo coco -mosquito paradise
Go at your own risk Never again after getting eaten alive by mosquitoes by the tons day and night making me stay indoors most of the time Pros: short distance from airport and hard working staff working long hours to keep the resort functional...enough food to eat Cons: too many like poor airconditioning in the room, smelly bed sheets and pillows, toilet leaving waste in the bowl, ants, lizards all over,...
Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Excellent beach
Been here numerous times and will return for the beach. The hotel needs a lot of TLC, unfortunately. Grounds are maintained and the vegetation is nice. If you book premium you have separate area at the beach and pool, plus few other advantages. Staff is amazing.
Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Great new resort
If you want to relax and just enjoy the beach with good value, this is a good option. It's Cuba, food is limited and sometimes runs out but from what I ate they were pretty good. The service is good, they try their best. The rooms are nice, the resort is quite new. Overall great beach. The water is so calm and so easy to spot fish. Bring floaties! I went first week of September and the weather was perfect. However bug spray is a must. So many mosquitos!
Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Amazing resort!
Just came back Thursday from 1 week. Great little resort for the cost. Staff were excellent, hotel and rooms clean, food was what you would expect for Cuban fare. Nothing over the top but we didn’t go hungry or thirsty and got plenty of rest and relaxation. Tom of Bali beds and loungers everywhere.
Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great time
Fantastic vibe at this hotel. Clean rooms Great layout Incredible staff everywhere on the resort Food options all over Great beach Different pool options Fantastic entertainment staff We unanimously knew after 24 hours that we would be coming back to this hotel. ( there was 3 of us different ages in 3 separate rooms)
Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: not for me
The resort itself wasn't too bad, everything was close, but did not like the service, the mosquitos were terrible, the food, forget it, you're eating the same thing over and over again, the rooms old, will not recommend this resort.
Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Amazing hotel
Rooms are very nice and clean, food was delicious, excellent service, very friendly staff .Lobby, coffee area buffet,Mediterranean restaurant, snack bar everything is modern and very nice interior, pools are great for kids and breathtaking beach.
Hotel Playa Paraiso: 11th Visit
After so many visits, I obviously love the place. It had been a year and a half since my last visit, so there was definitely change in staff, which I expected in Cuba these days. Some of my favorites are still there and always treat us with such genuine kindness. My favorite lobby bartender, Marcos, who has been there since my first visit. He's so professional and amazing at his job! Two more favorites are now at the snack bar. Orlando who makes the absolute best Pina Coladas and is a kind soul [... read more]
Sanctuary White Sands: New and Beautiful Hotel
This was a fantastic hotel. Service was exceptional, the beach was amazing, the sand was fine and soft and the ocean water was always a beautiful turquoise colour. As this is a new hotel, everything was in great condition including the grounds, the rooms, and even the bed was exceptionally comfortable. A fantastic experience overall.
Hotel Playa Paraiso: Had an amazing week.
Been to this hotel several times. Its under renovation but barely any noise. Not a big variety of food but we can always find something to eat. We were traveling with a 8yrs old. She enjoyed the pizza. The room is spacious, clean, great water pressure. The people are friendly especialy Annelise my go to person for anything we need she does magic. Even if its low season there was entertainement everyday and kids disco. The beach is clean but have corals so water shoes will fix it. The pool is clea [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Amazing hotel with great staff!
This was my second visit to this hotel in 2 years and there is are plenty of reasons for it. The grounds are well kept and vast. The beach is beautiful and kept clean daily and there are plenty of palaps. The rooms are spacious and modern with free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a view of the pools as well as the ocean. Electrical outlet is 220 so bring the converter to 110. The food is plentiful with plenty of variety. The restaurants offer great quality meals: Cuban, Portuguese and Internationa [... read more]
Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Mosquito Nightmare
I must say I was very disappointed with this hotel the staff & workers..we had many things not working & when we would complain to front desk they said would take care of it & never did numerous times..the grounds were impeccable & the beach was beautiful but the service was poor..it seems the staff didn't want to work without the promise of tips/money..also workers in washrooms & dining room acting as security without actually working..also they should be ashamed of themselves..they have tons o [... read more]
