The Sens Riviera: Great resort
I traveled to this resort in November with my sister. We upgraded to sunclub. We really enjoyed this resort. The staff, food and service was exceptional. The room was clean and spacious. The sheets and towels were changed daily. The drinks in the bar fridge were replenished daily. There were plenty of chairs and Bali beds around the pools but limited on the beach. The only real negative feed back is the strong perfume scent in the lobby and the lack of entertainment during the day around the [... read more]
Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice Resort
Rooms are musty, food is the same morning noon and night, but the service is great, and it is close to everything, excursions are great, enjoyed the spa, needs better night entertainment, coffee is great
The Sens Riviera: Cosy 3.5-4 star resort
The resort was nice but definitely not a full 4 star. The rooms were dated but they are renovating the old ones. We stayed in an ocean front king and it had a nice view. No balcony. Minimal furniture in the room. Food was meh. My partner got very very sick for 4 days. I was fine. The beach is great. The snorkeling is amazing - bring your snorkel and mask. Lots of fish right off the beach and a nice reef further out. No free shuttle to any town which most resorts have. Staff were generally friend [... read more]
Sunscape Curacao Resort: Had High Expectations
We returned this past weekend from Sunscape Resort in Curacao. Our friend recommended this resort so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, most of the staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but taking care of us. The food, especially in the buffet, was equivalent or worse than what we have eaten in Cuba. One of the workers told us that they have had management change and they are not happy. Our room was not cleaned two separate days and I had to run around trying to get clean [... read more]
The Sens Riviera: Mediocre resort.
The hotel is a mediocre hotel. The food at certain restaurants was always cold. However the room we had which was an upgrade was spacious and very nice. The beach is mostly a reef which was amazing for anyone who loves to snorkel however hard to walk into because of either the rocks or sharp coral pieces. You definitely need water shoes or like myself I wore my flippers.
Sunscape Curacao Resort: Would never return!
The resort was so bad that it’s not even worth my time explaining. Service is terrible, food is okay, rooms…I’d rather sleep in a rental car. And I’m not even a picky person..I just need booze and a beach but this place was a nightmare. Couldn’t pay me to stay here again.
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Horrible resort
Full of locals on the weekend the food was cold horrible al Carter open only one or two days Noone there nothing to do my group had to take taki outside resort to eat the beds are horrible woke up sore bars are only open till one many repeat people who have been to that resort 9 times hated and and said they would not return
The Sens Riviera: Amazing Resort!
We are a family of 4 and got a spacious room, with all amenities in the hotel. Although the room we got was not luxury, all the required needs and services were there for us. The reception facility was, at the initial stage, giving quite dull and darker feelings; but it was well-organized and the process of registration was quite fast. The recently renovated hotel premises, with white buildings and over 5 spacious well-maintained swimming pools for adults, family and kids, including sea-facing o [... read more]
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Had a Blast
What I liked was the rooms were clean, well kept and nice and cool from the moment you walk in. I did have a safe problem was it was resolved within 10 minutes. The fridge was restocked daily and never was there a room problem. Having a garden room gave peace and quiet especially in the evenings when the entertainment was going on. As for the resort itself the pool was the main event area from 10-6pm if you wear a white shirt it will get some yellow colour to it probably from the bleach. I wasn [... read more]
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Love it!!!!
First time at this resort and would go back for sure. The food was really good, nice big pool but the only way to access pool bar is being inside the pool. Entertainment staff "Richi" was so great! He was always coming by to make sure we were having a great time and went out of his way for out group of 22 to get a family photo done.
Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Nice Resort
Well Kept Resort, very good location ,great beach. resort very busy with locals. close to shopping ,food is not great but ok. stay in upper floor level away from theater side acct loud muisic. overall nice place
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Satisfied Sun Seekers
Sunscape grounds are beautifully maintained & very close to the beach. Sun was hot, pools were cool and drinks were cold! Service was beyond our expectations. Although the buildings could use some TLC, the cleanliness was outstanding. The entertainment was not out taste, but the Beach Party was fantastic.
Sunscape Sabor Cozumel: Very average
Small pools. Chairs broken. No chairs available unless up at 9 am. Buffer is outside and poor at best. Rooms are good. Food is average and room service excellent. Good staff though and always pleasant. Need water shoes for beach. All coral
The Sens Riviera: Peaceful and FUN!
We absolutely loved our stay. We have come to admire a smaller property closer to the beach with less walking. We upgraded to the Sunscape pool area with outdoor tub! Woke up to birds and iguanas daily - a peaceful paradise. We had no kids with us, but the kids area were vast and several with Dino and pirate theme and an arcade. One of the things I most enjoyed was no braclets and no a la carte bookings. First Come First Serve and no disappoints. Did I mention the SPA! You deserve it. [... read more]
Sunscape Curacao Resort: Amazing employees
The resort was extremely clean and employees were super sweet. We were in room 2419 and sewage gas was coming up through the drains. They changed our room when we complained for the second time. We also got stuck in the glass elevator for 45 minutes in the heat at 4 pm. We kept pushing the bell button but nobody answered, had no way of informing anyone untill we saw a guest looking up from outside and we could ask for help with our hands. It took forever for them to get us out of there. We were [... read more]
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Sunscape Puerto Plata
The resort is a hidden gem, it is beautiful and the staff amazing. The covid protocol is still in effect at the resort, masking to enter restaurants and shops. Visiting Puerto Plata City, no protocol, they have no covid. The food at the resort is amazing, buffet and al a carts. There are usually 2 different al a carts each night all different. There was theme nights at the buffet eg. Mexican, American, Dominican etc.. The pool is a walk in pool for those who want to slowly get in. The Staf [... read more]
Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Disappointed
We’ve been going to this resort for years. Staff are incredible!! Food has gone downhill. We never had a hot meal. Food was lukewarm to cold except at the buffet if you were lucky. The Italian restaurant pasta used to be amazing but now it is inedible. No flavour. The beach is the best! Pool was very crowded with local visitors with a lot of children. Beds are comfortable but pillows need upgrading. We’ve always loved this resort but now considering going elsewhere. We can’t say enough g [... read more]
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great Holiday
This is our second time at this resort. Once four years ago and again March 2022. The resort is great. On the smaller end but just the right size. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Food is great for everyone in the family. Lots of Canadians to meet by the swim up bar. Lots of deck chairs available around the main pool. Great value for money. I would fully recommend for families and adults alike.
Sunscape Puerto Plata: Great time
Room was great suggest you book the sun club Resort was not busy at all Normal 7 am to get a shade spot Here lots of spots after 10 am Food was good pizza dinner and Gohan (Chinese) Service good
Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: What a nightmare
The hotel has changed drastically from years past, the air Canada person is all over the map with the cost for COVID rapid test, some paid 40pp some 80pp then I heard as high as 100pp, all USD, this is so wrong in so many ways. Air Canada should be ashamed of themselves for the inconsistency of there representative. What a money grab from the rep for the airline in Mexico. The cost for prepaid seats of 196.00 for extra leg room, air Canada double sold these seats…, next time I travel I’m [... read more]
