Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great Resort

We were in building 7, ground floor. Access to the pool, a bar and the ocean within feet of our door. Excellent location 😊 Small pool right off our patio, the bar beside was a ala carts at night. Noise was minimal / steak ala carted was great/ no reservation required 😊

Everything was very neat and clean Hotel staff went above and beyond to help All staff were extremely polite and friendly Beach & Pools were always clean Steak, Italian and Japanese restaurants foods were perfect No reservations were needed for the a la carte's - except for the Japanese This was great idea as no long line ups! Sunscape Curacao Resort: Best vacation ever.

My husband and I have been travelling for over thirty five years and I must say this is the best vacation we have ever been on. From the time we booked until we arrived home it has been worry free. Heather Felice went above and beyond with her personal care. One couple we travelled with didn’t notice the misspelling of his name. Heather was notified and she sent new travel docs down to the resort to make sure we had no issues when leaving Curacao. The resort was beautiful, food was good a [... read more]nd the rooms were great. Heather requested ground floor and rooms together. We were three doors away from each other. Staff at the hotel were the most pleasant people we’ve met, always considerate and it was always “my pleasure” when serving us. The smiles and friendliness of everyone was unbelievable. Thank you TripCentral for such a wonderful vacation.

Our stay at this resort was nice but there are a few things I would like to say. First off it rates itself as a four star resort online and it is certainly not, I’d say it is a three star and going in knowing that would help people to manage their expectations. The rooms were clean but you never knew when you were going to come back and find your room cleaned. They also do not put clean sheets on during your stay which I didn’t particularly like. The food is hit and miss as is the service and quite honestly they could do with a better rotation or selection of foods. But I think all resorts face this challenge. Overall we did enjoy ourselves but I would only recommend the resort if you are ok with a three star and all that entails.

Sandals Royal Curacao: Nice spot ,high end hotel , clean impeccable service, only 3 restaurants , for family of 4 breakfast $70 , lunch $90 , dinner 120 no alcohol,

Place was a postcard setting, very nice , little pricey but highly recommend this place .they need more activities but ther working on it . Outside excursions very expensive. Can’t wait to go back !!!!!!!

Sandals Royal Curacao: Beautiful place

Santa Barbara resort was everything we hoped for, the grounds are gorgeous, the people are super nice, food is delicious, the beach is small but clear waters to do your own snorkeling and see some pretty fish! We will be returning to this resort.

The rest of us pool and beach-bummed and loved the relaxed environment. Unlike Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica etc., there's no fighting for space and it's not crowded where I need to get up at 8am to save us spots for the day. The BEACH is AMAZING! There's three restaurants and at any time, two are open. The menu doesn't change too much but it's good food. The TWO pools are great! Lots of space to swim and sunbathe in. It's just a perfect place if all you want to do is hang out, drink and eat. We will be back

Zoetry Curacao Resort and Spa: Very enjoyable resort.

We enjoyed staying at Floris Suites Hotel. The room was comfortable, vell equipped and the staff was very friendly. There was lush vegetation all around the hotel and pool. The beach was a little disappointing. It was difficult to get in and out of water, too many rocks and to uneven. You really needed water shoes. The walk to the beach was only 5 min. It was easy to get to the city and back with the hotel shuttle bus or local transportation. Daily happy hour was definitely enjoyable. Sunscape Curacao Resort: Average 3 star

Customer service lacking huge. Food variety is average. Rooms are dirty and outdated. Beach is not the greatest. Staff can be nice. Night time security has a lot of attitude, actually makes you feel unsafe. The island is beautiful. Spent more time and money off the resort due to the negative experience. Wouldnt go back nor recommend it to any friends or family.

Sandals Royal Curacao: Beautiful resort- loud weekend parties

This resort is absolutely magnificent. The grounds and accommodations were top noch. But what really makes this resort special are all the incredible people who work there. It really seems like they love what they do, and it showed throughout our entire trip. One thing to mention would be their weekend free for all parties. Unfortunately this resort allows locals to park their boats at the beach dock and come party and play loud music at the beach all day. We were also kept up late at night Satu [... read more]rday by people screaming, blowing whistles and running around until the early morning hours. This behaviour continued until mid Sunday afternoon. For a 5star resort, I would have expected a different atmosphere as this really hindered our enjoyment of the resort. Unfortunately by the time management got back to us to discuss this problem we were on our way out, but we intend to send them an email. It would definitely stop us from coming back due to this issue, which is unfortunate given the type of experience we had on none party days.

Hilton Curacao: Hilton Curacao resort lokated close to capital city Willeamstad, that very nice, has a small but nice beach.

I thing, that this resort will be very comfortable for couples and it does not matter what age, or.... The grounds OK, the public areas, go to tell, restaurants are nice. Rooms as every hotels rooms, but Hilton staff tried to keep you comfortable here. Very nice KITCHEN (thank you), the meal something else, make you happy here.

Great environment.... people were great.... very peaceful and relaxing. Food was pricey but went to the locals to buy and it was great.....the atmosphere was so nice that I would consider retiring here....

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Fabulous resort - fantastic staff

We had a fabulous time. They treated us like royalty- put a banner on our door that said "celebrating an anniversary" on May 12 when we celebrated 40 years of marriage. It seemed like all the staff knew. It was special. We went on an island tour (very informative) at an extra cost and used the free shuttle to Willemstat for a half a day. We snorkeled the beaches, swam in the pools daily, ate at all five restaurants - the food was great. It was all excellent.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice Place to stay!

Overall the stay at Sunscape was enjoyable, with in exception ( food was so-so ). Many had been visiting the resort on a repeat visit. Weather was beautiful, Warm with a soft wind that perfect. Resort was quaint and clean. Overall staff was friendly with a little less hustle than I am used to which is nice at times. except when you really need something (cutlery). Lots of activities and programs to keep children and teens busy and engaged. Food was below expectations at buffet. Not a very large variety and mediocre quality (for example: preparation of BACON and scrambled eggs at breakfast needs a revamp).. Selection at buffet is small and needs a larger variety of desserts. Food at A La Carter restaurants was great, however 2.5 hour wait for food once seated at the Seafood restaurant. View at seafood restaurant was beautiful however still too long of a wait for food. Steakhouse food delicious - a MUST!!! Downside of A La Cartes is no reservations (except Japanese) which results in EXTREMELY long waiting list - so get there EARLY. Sunscape should change this process to reduce disappointment and frustration for customers. However if food is not one of your top 3 "wants" in a resort this is the place to stay . One last great add is getting up early to sit on the beach to watch the cruise ships sail in while the sun rises drinking a latte from the 24 hour Cafe. Resort is welcoming, clean and safe.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Happy Family Vacation

The resort is very attractive and clean with good staff. We opted for the Sunclub and have mixed feelings about doing that. The Sunclub beach area was nicer and lounges easier to get with shade which was good. My wife and I and my 2 sons and their wives along with my 4 year old granddaughter went on the trip. They first booked our one son, wife and granddaughter in a small room at the other end of the resort and moved them to our building in a larger nicer room late the next day as we had compla [... read more]ined. This was despite having booked 8 months in advance! We were in the same building but not close to each other which we wanted.supposedly we were to have our fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks each day, very inconsistent if not missed entirely...different in each room so no standards. I am not sure this was worth extra money! The restaurants had good food, 4 of them and we ate dinner in each and twice in the seafood restaurant. Because we had a young one we lined up at 6 for the 6:30 opening and easily got the first seating for dinners. The buffet was a large room under a palapa and lots of food with good selection but not great quality. Satisfied your hunger but not much more. Really nice beaches with a breakwall that was a must and it was natural enough and has been there long enough that the fish have inhabited so that it was like a reef so we could snorkel along it, very nice feature. My son went scuba diving about a 15 minute boat ride away right from the resort which he said was good for fish and there was a sunken ship. The pools were all very clean, warm and not crowded at all and lots of them.My granddaughter learned to swim! There was an Explorer's Club for kids that she went to one day and enjoyed it and then she went again and dressed up for the resort's Saturday evening Carnival parade and got to lead it, very exciting for her (and all of us) with the costumes, music and dancing. Over all a very happy family place.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great resort.

We just spent a week at the Sunscape Curacao Resort. This was our third time at this resort. We stayed in the Tower Building which seems a bit more recent than the other buildings. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a nice ocean view from the balcony. The four restaurants are all good. The snorkeling off the beach is great.

This is a very clean and well kept resort. People are friendly and eager to help. Food is OK could improve on keeping food hot and variety could be better. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would like them to bring back Paella day by the beach and more events like this.

Beautiful beach and peaceful resort. Service in the buffet could use improvement. Service in speciality restaurants excellent. Dive shop within walking distance. Safe to take town bus into willemstad. Clean resort. We upgraded to sun club, Well worth it.

Sunscape Hotel is amazing. The staff are excellent the food is pretty good. Excellent swimming and snorkeling. You can snorkel right outside your door and Fisher absolutely magnificent. They have paddle boarding kayaking. Great place to vacation

Very happy with this resort...will definitely go back...all of the a la carte restaurants were fantastic from the food to the staff..the entertainment was great as we were there over Easter they had parades, I have been away over this holiday many times, but never had the kind of celebration that we experienced...The water was breathtaking and so clear..we were in the Sun Club and it was worth every penny..Kenneth the bartender was a real treat...
