Royalton Hideaway Saint Lucia: Amazing resort

We stayed in a junior suite at the Saint Lucia Royalton hideaway resort with an ocean view. The room was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort had numerous restaurants providing a good variety of well prepared delicious food. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable and the beach and pool areas were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort.

This resort was fabulous. The service was on point. The grounds and views were unparalleled. The customer service was timely, efficient and courteous. The food was delicious with different choices for different tastes. Truly an amazing vacation. We are going back again next year.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: awesome resort!!

This resort was one of the better ones I've been to! The scenery was absolutely beautiful , the rooms were clean and food amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly! I was especially happy with all the water sports offered to the guests that were included in the price! Would go back in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved this resort and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were friendly, courteous and just lovely. All accommodations were perfect, would have been nice though to have ceiling fans In The rooms. The only suggestion would be to have grab bars in the tub/shower area for some of us who require them for extra balance getting in and out of the tub. All the dining areas and food was exceptional. Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Amazing resort - food, room & much much more

The resort was so much bigger than expected. The rooms were amazing, the ocean views (cliffside and by the ocean) were outstanding from every restaurant. The food was to die for and the staff were one of a kind. I would definitely stay here again.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Excellent vacation

Spent a week at St James Club. Everything was great: the rooms large and comfortable, the grounds beautiful and very well maintained, the food excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive. St Lucia is beautiful and there are a few worthwhile excursions to make. Night entertainment and the channel TV lineup are limited.

Starfish Saint Lucia: Quaint, Perfect Setting

This is a very basic no frills resort. That being said, it is in an absolute gorgeous location. The beach settled at the base of the mountain on the left is clean and crystal clear in the light golden sand. There are fish and the snorkeling is fun. The pool is small and shallow but nice. We spent most of our time at the beach. There are non motorized watercraft and snorkeling gear available for rent. Tipping was appreciated by all the staff. We were in the 100 building at ground level and it was so close to everything on this small resort. The food was excellent, very fresh and although not a lot of variety at the buffet you will not go hungry. The fruit was delicious. The burgers at the beach grill were good. The a la cartes were okay. The ages of people varied from young families to older couples. This is not a party resort and there is not much for nightly entertainment and little event staff during the day. We were there to purely relax so that was a non isssue. We enjoyed the small atmosphere. There is good security, the locals will approach you on the beach, just tell them no thanks if you aren’t interested in what they are selling. You can charter a boat to pigeon island to the left of the resort for the same cost as a cab. The beach itself is an interesting walk and there are different rentals and other resorts and bars along the beach. Town is a short walk as well and has everything you need such as bars and restaurants. You can book excursions thru the hotel or hire a private guide which was what we did for much better value. The island must be explored. We used Ashley he was wonderful. We would definitely go back to this resort if it is still there in the fall. There was talk of it being rebuilt and we could probably not afford it in that case. It is perfect for the value. St. Lucia is truly beautiful.

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Beautiful

Have only been to the Sandals Resort in Grenada before but now am convinced of the quality standard. Grounds are immaculate, location is beautiful. Food and staff first class for the most part. The 2 hour trip from the airport is bearable but they ship you off too soon back to the airport. Had to leave at 10:30 am for a 3:50 pm flight. Air Canada desk not even open when we arrived at the airport. Staff at the Italian restaurant very cold and breakfast service extremely slow but all of the other [... read more] restaurants completely different. If you dive plan on spending more than half the day. Meet at 8am, leave by 8:30-9:00, 45 to 60 minute boat ride to the sites one way and 1 to 1:30 pm on return.Dive staff was great but then I`ve never met unhappy dive masters. Didn`t swim in a pool for future reference. You know why.

Starfish Saint Lucia: Great value for money

Long drive from airport but worth it. Staff excellent, Resort's pool and beach very conveniently close for all rooms, foods good, entertainment is weak and if youre on 2nd floor expect loud music from local bars till wee hours in morning. Typically an older crowd I would definitely go back

Rooms were well placed, every room had a view and most of the ocean! Clean rooms, well appointed. Facilities were great and had everything you needed. Most water sports were included which was awesome

Paradise place, the best restaurant service and food, room is nice but dated, staff is very friendly, beach is beautiful, swimming is very nice but there is no snorkeling. The place is very quiet and the atmosphere is relaxing

The food was excellent every day. Loved the layout. Beach could be longer with more area for swimming. Unfortunately there is the seaweed. Enjoyed the Hilltop bar and swimming pool as well as the two other pools.

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Sandals Halcyon Review

My boyfriend and I travelled to Sandals Halcyon in March 2019. For reference, we are in our early 30s and are experienced travelers in the Caribbean. As this was our first Sandals experience, we were excited to see “the Sandals difference” – especially considering the price tag. The positive: the service is definitely above the average all-inclusive resort, even in comparison to other 4-5 star properties. Staff are very well-trained to be extremely responsive and attentive. It was also very, VERY refreshing to not be expected to tip (although we did leave tips for a few exemplary staff). The negative: The Halcyon beach, in comparison to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian, left something to be desired. Still, a beach in the Caribbean is nothing to complain about! It just wasn’t nearly as nice as the beach at the Grande. As well, this resort is VERY MUCH geared towards retirees. There were very few guests within our age group. Because of this, the nightlife was essentially non-existent. This is a great resort if you’re looking to simply relax and not necessarily looking have a lively social experience. All-in-all, we had a really amazing vacation! However, if we were to return to a Sandals in St. Lucia, we would definitely select the Sandals Grande.

This resort is amazing - ideal for active people, with a wide choice of activities and fitness classes every hour of the day and opportunities to try new things. With daily hour long spa treatments scheduled for you and included in the package, and even a personal training session, I felt totally spoiled. Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Nice but be Aware!

Our week at the St James Club, St Lucia was very nice. Hotel was clean, food was fantastic, staff very friendly. Beach was SoSo, not very big. We did find a cockroach in our room, must have been brought in by the cleaning staff. Things to be aware of are; the hotel requires you to give a credit card deposit of $350.00 USD in case your Travel Company doesn't pay them, we still don't know if the deposit has been returned to us, there are no beverages provided in your room (no water, no pop, no be [... read more]er). I rate this resort 4 star, could be 4.5 with a few added amenities.

Harmony Marina Suites: Clean and Tidy!

Everything you look at around the resort look nice and clean, the place is very well kept that way. Rooms are decent and provide what is expected for what you're paying. Service was good, everyone was friendly enough. Some at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as well! Bar on site was solid. Only complaint was with our room being on ground level . We had neighbours upstairs making a noise around the clock. We had white noise from our phone and I was still being woken up because of [... read more] chairs dragging across the floor and people dropping stuff.

Harmony Marina Suites: Harmony Oasis

Beautiful “chic” Caribbean vibe hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Our suite had recent renovations with a beautiful view overlooking the bay, pool and mountains. Quiet atmosphere, walking distance to Reduit beach, shops and restaurants. Excellent location; we will be back!

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Great value and good for toddlers

We came to the St James Club with our 16-month-old and 2 1/2-year-old for March Break. I would definitely recommend the hotel to other young families. FOOD: Some of the best all-inclusive food I've had. Lots of variety with the buffet, and plenty of other options to try. If your kids are picky, there might be a meal or two where they are harder to please from the buffet, and sometimes slower service at the restaurants made the 6pm dinner tricky, but that's part of the challenge of toddler tr [... read more]avel. It's also tricky to get a healthy afternoon snack (so we usually grabbed bananas from the breakfast buffet). FUN: The kiddie pool wasn't fancy but it was perfect for toddlers. The beach was also great, with gentle waves, no seaweed, and soft sand (not much visibility though). There was also a fantastic playground and even an indoor play-place. We didn't take the organized tours (which were all quite expensive and too long for little ones) but rented a car for two days and explored. ROOMS: We had a 1-bedroom ocean view suite. It was clean and comfortable with a great balcony overlooking the ocean. It was also at the top of a BIG hill. It worked off every dessert, but if you aren't fit, you'll need to get around by calling for a golf cart if you stay on the hill (which I would find less convenient). It was also on the opposite hill of the kid pool, which made that a big trek (so lots of carrying). Our room was in the 1000's; I think 800 and below are on the other side. We also brought a portable noise machine which is a must for kids -- loud music was on from 9-11 most nights and we wouldn't have gotten them to sleep without it. I also appreciated that the TV had English kid's cartoons at all times, for those few minutes we needed to keep a little one occupied or escape the heat. ATMOSPHERE: The staff were AMAZING -- incredibly friendly and professional. There was a mix of guests, from young couples to old couples to families.There are two adult pools which I think helped to avoid a "drunk party everywhere" vibe that I've found at other resorts with a mixed crowd.

The grounds of this resort were very lush & tropical & were well maintained! Staff are very friendly! Buffet restaurants were ok nothing over the top. A la carte restaurants were very good especially Morgan’s Pier!

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Fantastic Family Resort

The St. James resort on Morgan Bay was a top notch resort. Rooms were clean and spacious, the view was incredible and food was above average. However, most important was the attitude, friendliness and generosity of spirit of the staff that work there. This is one of the few groups that could make a 20 minute bus breakdown thoroughly enjoyable.
