Planet Hollywood Costa Rica: Good Holiday

Upon arrival we were treated to the Red Carpet Welcome. After that it was merely just OK. I found the front desk staff (not all) were not friendly or welcoming after we booked in. Upon walking around the lobby not once were we greeted to say Hi, how are you, how is everything etc.. The buffet and restaurants were serving good quality food. Once again the Wait Staff were OK but nothing amazing (comparing to other resorts i've visited). Bar staff at the main lobby were great. The coffee shop (Fu [... read more]el) staff were also great. Pool Staff were amazing (Dilan) was wonderful. Friendly, accommodating, joyous, energetic and you can see he loved doing what he did. Beach, beach chairs were not clean whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend sitting by the beach to anyone. The area was nice and cool though. Can use more carts to escort visitors around a lot quicker. Many times had to wait more than 10 minutes which prompted us to just walk up the hills. Entertainment staff were good. More activity during the day would be great. More garbage cans available in the facility required. Overall a good holiday.

Rooms were clean. Only one Pool. Service was good. I'm a beach person and was disappointed. Poor on the beach area. Not welcoming. Beach chairs were dirty, not enough chairs. Vendors on the beach

Occidental Papagayo: We truly enjoyed everything about Occidental Papagayo Resort

The resort was beautiful and so relaxing. The people who worked there were professional and greeted us every time with smiles and how is your day going. The food in the Buffet was fabulous. The Food Service Director would come out into the serving area and greet you. He would ask how you enjoyed the food. The waitresses were lovely and got to know us personally. Before we asked for coffee it would be in our cup exactly how we drank it. Black for myself, cream for my daughter. My daughter and I came home and we can’t stop talking about our positive experience at Occidental Papagayos, Costa Rica.

Riu Guanacaste: Amazing Resort

The hotel is beautiful. Very well maintained. Food was good especially the buffet. Pool was great, the staff were wonderful. Lots to do around the resort. Many excursion options. Would definitely stay again.

The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa: Excellent resort

Great resort with the best service from concierge to pool staff. Every staff member we encountered were always asking if we needed anything. Rooms in the towers are a little outdated but understand they are renovating this summer. Grounds are beautiful with lots of wildlife. Food at this resort was average for all inclusive. Definitely need more lighting on the walkways around resort.

Azura Beach Resort Samara: Amazing experience

The resort was beautiful. It’s a very intimate vibe with it being a small resort. The staff is amazing and take the time to get to know you so their food and drink recommendations are always perfect.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: An amazing resort & vacation

I adored this hotel and the grounds. The workers are so friendly and hardworking. The food was good and had a wide selection of different choices daily. Plenty of activities throughout the day & evening. Room was perfect. Views were amazing. I loved the beach and area around the resort. So much to do in and around the resort to keep you busy. I would go back for sure! Unreal experience!

Riu Guanacaste: Beautiful resort

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained.Rooms are a little dated but spacious and clean. Fridge was filled every other day. Recommend the jungle side if you love waking up to birds and monkeys! Food was always good with lots of options.Buffet was just as good if not better than the other restaurants. Huge line ups for restaurants as well, get there early if you want to get in.Beach is amazing and if you get up early enough you will see monkeys on the beach. Riu Palace Costa Rica: Good place to de stress

My first visit to an all inclusive. I was not disappointed, the entertainment was good, the staff friendly, room well appointed and overall the food good. My only complaint would be that no reservations are taken for the speciality restaurants. You have to get in line well before scheduled opening time and hope that you get one of the two sittings available. The Japanese restaurant was below what I was expecting.

Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica: Amazing pools

The pools and grounds at this resort are very nice, it’s set up so it never feels crowded. The rooms needs some revamping, did not like the set up. The food we thought was very good. But the pools are definitely the heart of this resort. The staff also are very helpful.

Azura Beach Resort Samara: Relaxing resort

This resort exceeded our expectations. It was quiet and the staff went above and beyond to ensure you were happy. Good quality food (lobster was the surf and turf at the grille) and sushi grade tuna at the Asian restaurant. Smoked salmon and mimosas at breakfast. Fast room service. Beautiful miles long sand beach. Spa services were excellent and well priced.

Riu Guanacaste: Beautiful and Clean Resort

The resort grounds were very well maintained and interior was always clean. The staff were all friendly. The food was excellent. Very much appreciated the vegetarian options. The only down side was if you required anything to be done for your room, the front desk were very slow at responding and had to be reminded. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.

Eva and I had an excellent stay at this resort! All was top notch from our room to the condition of the grounds, pools, lounging areas and food options. Activities around the pool were fun and service from staff everywhere was great making sure you had everything you wanted and a good drink was in your hand whether in the restaurants or around the many pools. Tamarindo Diria: Gorgeous Views of the Ocean

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Diria. We had a spacious family suite close to the pool. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very friendly. Missing my morning fill of fresh fruit already! I would stay here again, you are within walking distance of everything in Tamarindo. If you are looking to surf or learn this is the spot. ***Advice for restaurants and stores. Planet Hollywood Costa Rica: The resort is fantastic, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with everything.

The rooms are great, good plumbing, air conditioning, great wifi connection everywhere. The big hill sucks to walk up for a person my age but thankfully all you had to do was call for a ride or flag down a ride. There really is not much of a beach to enjoy the ocean and you can't go bare foot either as there may be sea urchuns and the odd crocodile could swim by ( we never saw any ). Our worst meal was at the Italian restaurant we walked out. I was disappointed that I bough all nice clothes to go out for dinner as I was told there was a dress code that meant nothing at any of the restaurants, people wore whatever they wanted and nobody said anything. There were lots of good shows and dancing available during the evening.I couldn't book any excursions as I got heat stroke my 2nd day so I knew I couldn't handle being out in the heat for 4-8 hours in a day. Overall was a great placeif you like heat and relaxing by the pool and enjoying good food going out or ordering room service. The bartenders were fantastic and can make you any drink you can think of big shout out to Eduardo my pal.

Riu Guanacaste: Amazing Resort!!!

1st time for us at a Riu establishment. Def a top choice for all future related holidays now!! Absolutely beautiful resort with all the amenities. Very clean, super friendly staff, large pools and ample sitting space around the pool area. The layout of the resort is so well planned, everything close by (restaurants, pools, conceirge) and yet it felt like a large complex. The excursions offered at the resort cater to every style - from short 4hr ones to full day 12hrs! 1st time for us at Cost [... read more]a Rica - def. not the last! Booking through Tripcentral was a breeze too. I made a tiny error with my booking and was quickly able to resolve it with friendly staff at Trip Central. Thanks guys - a very memorable vacation for the family. Already recommended this spot to a few people :)

Riu Guanacaste: It was a great resort

The resort us a bit older in its decor but it is kept very fresh and very clean. The setting was beautiful, beach was amazing and pools beautiful. The people, the food and the services were excellent. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I had a couple of issues with the room and they were addressed right away. As far a covid measures, there was nothing at all put into place to encourage covid public health measures.

Fiesta Resort: Amazing Resort!

The resort was spotless throughout. There were staff continuously sweeping and mopping floors around general areas. To my surprise I was booked into a premium suite which gave me access to an up market restaurant for breakfast and lunch daily, a local concierge and a Nespresso machine in my room. I have limited mobility and can only walk short distances with my Nordic Poles. The hotel provided me with a wheel chair, and I only had to ask the concierge to get a bell boy to push me further afi [... read more]eld. The staff were INCREDIBLE! They treated me like a queen and feted me on my 79th birthday with a cake and balloons! Would I recommend this resort? You bet I would!

Riu Guanacaste: Great Vacation

My family and I have just returned from our trip. We have been to CR several times and almost always stay at this hotel. We love the location and the staff. The food is great, the beach and pools are gorgeous and my kids LOVED the wildlife and the waterpark. Highly recommend it to anyone!
