Selection Riviera Cancun: Absolutely worth 5 stars!!

We stayed at the Azul Sensatori Cancun for 7 days at the beginning of February. We had such a great time. It's a family resort but we requested a room closer to the adult side and that was what we recieved. We had an oceanview with jacuzzi on the top floor and the view was breathtaking. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The resort is on the smaller side so everything is a quick walk away. The pools are all right outside your room no matter where you stay. The beach is also right [... read more] there and the only negative I can say is that there was alot of seaweed, however the resort can't help that and there were constantly staff cleaning it up. The beach itself is beautiful! Lots of Bali beds and chairs, first come first serve, but not hard to get one. By the pool as well, you do have to play the 'towel game' but you are not allowed to put out towels before 7:00am so it wasn't too bad. The food was the best we have ever had. Absolutely worth 5 stars...and I would rate higher if I could. The room service menu was fantastic and absolutely delicious. The breakfast, gourmet burger lunch, wood oven pizza place, beach bbq and every restaurant were top notch!! We have never experienced anything like this at an all inclusive before. The food was fantastic!! We were not as impressed with the buffet...it was ok but didn't have much variety, just a typical buffet however there was no need ever to eat there! You didn't need reservations at any of the restaurants and we almost always got seated immediately. So happy with absolutely everything and hope to back someday!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Beautiful resort

We spent Feb 1-8 at the Azul and we loved it! The staff was great , friendly and professional . The beach was really nice , water clear and warm . The drinks were outstanding and food really good too . Loved the Ackee restaurant and the jerk chicken and pork at Garfield’s should not be missed . We had a premium room and found it super clean and cool . The turn down service was a really nice touch . Thanks for the great week !!

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Punta cana Sensatori Resort

This resort was very clean and the food and drinks were amazing. We had the honeymoon suite 3rd floor adult section it was beautiful however would have liked ocean view but saw in one of those rooms there was a family and it was supposed to be adults only. This resort should have a complete adult section including pool but it does not. There were way more kids than we thought and did not like that so much. Nos gustó mucho el hotel. Las habitaciones son grandes y la limpieza general es muy buena. Hay algunas opciones de alimentación buenas pero hay que reservar y ocuparse de ver que este la confirmación... eso decididamente necesita cambiar (al parecer la idea es que haya que reunirse con el conserje para que puedan convencerte de "comprar el tiempo compartido.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: AMAZING RESORT!

We heard great things about this amazing resort- although, seeing is believing!! The resort surpassed any expectations we had on every level. Everything was amazing- the food was UNREAL, the staff, the grounds, the location, everything! We travelled off the resort for excursions; and downtown Playa del Carmen in both the day and night via taxi's with no troubles. Stay in villa 5/6 area to be closer to the beach/ main pool. Adult only section, Villa 20 is very quiet and far from everything.

check in at the hotel was great very fast, received luggage very fast after check in, grounds and area was very clean service of staff was excellent, very was excellent nd well presented and the service staff were very friendly and helpful if you needed anything.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Disappointing, Read carefully.

Be careful when booking this hotel. We booked for the El Dorado Seaside Suites and were put on the Sensimar side which was the older and dated resort. We had to pay an additional 500 dollars to be moved into the proper room. Trip central has been poor at helping us resolve this issue. Disappointed and would be hesitant to book with Trip central again.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Amazing Resort!!!!

The Grounds and the Team working there was GREAT... The food was perfect, lots of great choices... However we did notice that the Adult Only buildings were soon filled with families.. the pools was also quite filled with kids... We love kids, but thought it was an Adult section to the pool. If you go there, make sure you visit the Main bar and ask for Anderson... They make the BEST drinks on the resort

My daughter and I were lucky enough to go to the 5 Azul resort in Playa Del Carmin from Jan.26 to Feb2 It was clean ,very well kept grounds...the staff were so very polite... Food was by far the best...I have never seen so many veggies and fresh fruit it was so scrumptious...also quite a variety of cheeses.. There are many restaraunts / booths/ snack bars available and they are spread out accordingly.. I cant stress how delicious the variety of foods they are available. El Dorado Casitas Royale: Best vacation I ever had at the El Dorado Casita Royale!

This hotel was beyond my expectations. The service was excellent. The resort was maintained beautifully. Most importantly the staff was amazing. As soon as we arrived we were greeted outside the lobby and they took our luggage. I expected to go into the lobby to stand in line to check in (which I have done in all of my experiences with travel) but this was not the case. They made us feel so welcome and special. They gave us champagne and whisked us away into their golf cart. Took us right [... read more] to our beautiful casita suite. Shortly after our luggage arrived. I highly recommend this resort. I am definitely going back next year.

We were a group of fourteen neighbors and we had the best time, service was friendly and our rooms were kept immaculate. The pools were great, and lots of things to do at the beach, which again was very clean. The food was outstanding, never a dull moment for any meal. the staff at the pool bar went above and beyond to keep us happy. I would come back to this resort in a heartbeat. Bravo!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: El Derada Seaside & Spa Resort

The rooms were amazing, the beds were very comfortable, the maids did towel art on our bed every day. The fridge was stocked with Pop, Water, good Beer and they left 2 bags of chips, 2 chocolate bars and bags of pretzels daily. The A-La Cartes were amazing, you definitely will not go hungry at this resort. The only thing I missed was a Steak A-La Carte. The grounds, public places & rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. A little disappointed in the beach, had alot of rock on the shore as well as in the water, and some seaweed as well. You definitely should wear water shoes when in the water. The shows at night were very entertaining!! They have a gin bar and a tequila bar which you could drink almost anything which was free with the all inclusive. No matter where you were on the resort you could have any drink you wanted. Lots of things to do like pickle ball, tennis, yoga, aqua fit, table tennis. There was also dancing at a roof top bar. Also massages which were extra. The weather was perfect....85ish with some humidity and very little rain. Didn't have to pay for anything unless you went into a store. Best to bring some Pesos for tipping. All in all the Resort was very beautiful and you felt very safe!! First experience with an all-inclusive and it was an amazing one!!

As far as 1st impressions go, the resort was lacking the "wow" factor as we entered through the reception area. Not only was the lobby plain in appearance, we also did not get greeted with the typical welcome with a complimentary beverage, etc...rather we were told about extra costs for losing towel cards and that we would be charged an "environmental" tax...not necessarily the best first impression. Again, these elements were the only real issues. The resort is fantastic - our suite was spectacular and the restaurants were all top notch. Service at all of the facilities was also very professional and friendly. Entertainment could have been (much) better but not a big issue for our family.

The hotel was good but I have been to better ones in the Mayan Riviera. Some disappointment in the meals ordered. Entertainment was limited, have experienced better, we enjoy dancing to live bands or even listening to live music. Maid service was good. Drinks were also very good with a good selection. Staff at the hotel were very accommodating and friendly. I guess we are fortunate to have experienced better. We went with a group of 14. El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great People & Food

This is a beautiful resort. the grounds are nicely kept and everything is very clean. The beach is okay and clean for wading in, but no the best for swimming. The ample amount of beach beds is a huge plus. The variety and quality of food is spectacular. The people who work at the resort are amazingly friendly and can not do enough for you.

This hotel is fantastic! The food is incredible. There was no dish we tried that anyone didn't enjoy thoroughly. Everyone that works here is friendly and accomodating. They keep this place very clean and are always working to improve things. The entertainment staff is wonderful and there are many different activities you can join in if you desire, but there are also many quiet spots in the resort that you can go to where you can be poolside without others around. Absolutely beautiful, amazing people and service, clean, and great food. Would definitely recommend, would suggest staying 10 days because you lose basically 2 days in travel time. Quite far from the airport

I think the beach and the mangrove forest with the monkeys was the best part of this resort. The resort had some sandbag berms installed about 50m into the water, trapping the sand, which made the water pristine baby blue and clear, which the rest of the beach beyond the resort, did not have. Also this time of year (early Jan) the pool water was cool and the ocean a lot warmer which made the beach more attractive than the pool area. The meals at the restaurants in the evening was absolutely excellent (especially the Italian and French restaurants). The Mexican restaurant was very good too. Thai was below my expectations as it didn't taste at all like typical Thai to me. The service at this resort was also below my typical experiences at a 5 * resort. In my 5 days there, the maid service was inadequate (a dirty rag was left behind, not enough fresh towels were restocked and neither were enough water bottles provided for 3/5 days I was there) - it was however a clean (and new) room I stayed at so I was happy about that. I would have liked to have better cleaning service though for the price I paid to be there which was far above what I normally spend for a 5* in Mexico. Also, I found it surprising that not everything was all inclusive in this "all inclusive" resort. Again, for the money it cost to be there, I would have thought that "all inclusive" means all inclusive and that a fresh coconut at the beach shouldn't cost an additional $5US. That's just a rip off! Neither should the beds under the canopy's by the pool area cost extra to rent. That's just nickel and diming tourists. I've never seen this before at other 5* resorts. Disappointing extra costs. Upon check out I was also not told that if I didn't return the resort bracelets they tag you with for the stay, at check out, I would be charged an additional fee. I thought that having to pay that would be outrageous especially given how expensive this resort is. If you have lots of money to spend this place is pretty good but I wouldn't peg it as that much better than other places I've been.
