Hotel Playa Coco: Another Magnificent vacation.

I can honestly say I have nothing to complain about. Everything was wonderful, food, room, service and most importantly the beach. I do not require much entertainment as I'm strictly a beach bum. I don't hang out at the pool ever. All was exactly what I wanted for my vacation. Only thing I hadn't planned for were the tiny biting bugs. Next time bug spray!

Melia Jardines del Rey: very good atmosphere

nice pool area ,ocean shore excellent with beach site dining building,friendly staff great food and overhall beautiful restaurents are amazing ,theater eggcelant ,clean ,gym modern,boutiques abordable

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Very nice with beautiful landscape

Was never mention about the drinks for diamond club members Bathroom were clean Buffet was good But was not impressed waiting till 4.00pm for our room when we had diamond club The people were very nice and pleasant

The grounds and the beach were very well kept and clean. The hotel people were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived in Cuba, it was very confusing which bus we were to take to the resort as the Sunwing representative did not greet us. We ended up taking a taxi to the resort. The lakefront room had a great view and the noise from the other rooms was minimal. I was a little surprised that there wasn't any face clothes or facial tissue in the room. Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing getaway

Melia Cayo Coco is a beautiful resort. The grounds are always immaculately kept. The rooms have all the amenities you need, they are clean and well maintained through your stay. The buffet always has something for everyone The restaurants were incredible (I’m vegan) They made special meals for me on the nights I visited. The beach is spectacular, my favourite place. Gran Muthu Imperial: Beautiful resort!

Wonderful clean newer resort No beach area- but beaches 5 minute walk to the right or left Friendly staff Great games and entertainment Adult only so peaceful Poutine- fantastic! Lots of seating inside and out to sit and relax. Great mojitos!

Melia Costa Rey: Most Relaxing week

The hotel was very nice and modern. Comfortable and safe. Was disappointed that 5 days out of the 7 had no hot water and 2 days it smelled like a sewer in the rooms for part of the day. When advising staff at the reception desk was shooed off. Food was good, always something to eat and the pool bar had fantastic servers (Miry and Hermes you rock). The entertaiment team was fantastic ( Mia, we loved you).

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Loved it!

We absolutely had a wonderful time at Memories Flamenco. We plan on returning this spring! The food was good by Cuban standards and the room was comfortable. We loved the gorgeous beach and beach beds on the Diamond Club side which we splurged on. Friendly staff were helpful across the resort and helped to make the holiday memorable. Overall it was one of the best experiences in Cuba we have had as a whole. Can't wait to return!

Gran Muthu Imperial: Our first vacation in Cuba

Good: hotel is very clean and well kept. Daily room cleaning. Entertainment staff are trying their effort to do fun activities despite the fact that hotel was a bit empty. Bar at the lobby was the best - Morning Bartender, dark skinned guy, shaved head guy (sorry i forgot his name) was very polite, professional and his drinks are on point! Bad: FOOD! Food and food! Sometimes it seems like food is not edible. International restaurant - we had stomach ache after our dinner. Chinese restaurant - i chewed their sweet and sour pork and had to spit it out after. Breakfast: it seems like they simmer or boil their bacon. Only good thing i ate was their bread. First time to be hungry while on a vacation. I get the part that Cuba is a communist country and they have their own ways of doing things but if you’re main source of income is from tourist especially Canada at least try to cater on north american food. Customer service: hit and miss! Its not consistent, night front desk ladies will give you an attitude if you ask them questions. Overall rating: 6 out of 10. Would I recommend it? For first timers in Cuba like me... no. unless you dont care about the food. Save your hard earned money and visit Mexico or DR instead

Melia Cayo Coco: Melia Caya Coco, Cuba

Stayed for 1 week from Nov 17 to the 25th. The accommodations we had was the Grand Premium Lagoon View. The suite was clean and very nice with an incredible terrace and view of the sunrise from our room. It is well worth the upgrade because the view is spectacular, quiet and private compared to the rest of the accommodations. Nice to have English TV stations as well. A really beautiful beach with soft white sand and turquoise ocean which was warm. Lots of shade with palapas. Evening entertainment each night at the lobby bar was very enjoyable and entertainment overall I would rate at above average. The biggest let down was the food which was a bit disappointing. But this is to be expected for Cuba 4 star resorts compared to other islands. However, many people love the food and there is a very high repeat client business to this resort from Canada as I discovered in my discussions with other guests. Service was exceptional and the staff are genuine. Close to the airport and just over 3 hours flight from T.O. makes this a nice place for a quick getaway from the cold.

Have been to this hotel before and enjoyed the activities they have added. Great medical staff onsite. Warm and friendly staff always willing to help. Good food selection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing resort!!!!

Nothing but AMAZING!!! We liked everything about it. The beach was absolutely gorgeous - wide with white send like a powder. Ground of the hotel beautiful with lots of palm trees. All staff very friendly. All of them speaking good English. We would go back for sure ;)

The resource is few weeks new and room is very clean. Services are great and staff are very friendly. Foods are good. The beach is very clean and the swimming pools are also very well maintenance. Many bars that provide drinks and foods 24 hours/day. Settle service is available all day in the resource which will help disable people and new comer

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Awesome Resort!!

Was just at this resort and it was totally awesome. It was clean, well-run, and very easy to find the different venues. The staff is amazing, they are some of the best that I have ever encountered. This was our second visit to this resort and would definitely visit again. They really take care of their guests and go above and beyond. Many of the staff remembered us and it was nice to feel that warmth upon our return.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing week!!

Had an amazing week. The resort was clean and maintained, room cleaned every day. Enjoyed the fact that they have a 24 hours snack bar and lobby bar. Beach was cleaned and cleaned up every morning. Food was delicious and something for everyone, even for my youngest who is very picky.

Hotel Vigia: Return Visit

Just returned, some changes from last year. The grounds are nice as usual and Beach is cleaned of seaweed every couple of days. Hotel not too busy so food choices a bit more restrictive. Rooms being painted, some need work still. Overall for the price we paid it was ok. Service was fantastic and our maid took excellent care of us.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful time

The hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly, the organized activities were fun and the food was plentiful and great. I was very impressed with the food and the variety of food we were offered. I would definitely stay there again.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing resort, amazing staff!

We've been to another Memories in this area, and the service from the staff has been constantly wonderful. What stands out from this particular location however is the beach. I've never seen such fine sand. On this trip, we simply wanted to relax and this was completely possible. The pool area can get a bit noisy, what with its dancing lessons, contests and the like, but that seems to be a normal thing at all resorts; but it's pretty peaceful until 11 in the morning. The solution is to move [... read more] to the beach for the afternoon. Our favorite spot is the sports bar. A lot of people don't discover it because it seems to be well hidden for some reason. The rooms are pretty spacious and the cleaning staff was great. As for food, it was typical Cuban style. Just find stuff that you like and you'll be fine for the week. The bacon was abnormally slimy, but just get the omlet guy to fry it up a little and it works. We're definitely planning to go back to this location.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Value for Money with a few improvements

The resort was great. Loved the place, people, sea and pool. The food was ok, not great but ok. I think more effort has to be put into the presentation of the food. It tastes better than it looks. The staff are all great. One rip off though is the exchange rate from American dollars to Convertible peso's. It should be 1:1 and not 0.80 convertible peso's to an American dollar. This is ridiculous. How can the peso be more valuable than the American $... Also the no smoking sign in the lobby has t [... read more]o be more conspicuous. People aren't aware of this or they don't care so there needs to be more compliance regarding this - have a designated smoking area!!! Also the room had a coffee pot on the first day but no coffee - after I requested this it was supplied. The pillows also need to be normal sized pillows - not body pillows.

Hotel Vigia: The staff makes this a great resort to visit,many repeat customers.

This was my 4 time at Sol Cayo Guillermo, yes this is one of the oldest resorts in the area and does show its age . Rework in areas are being done, my room had just been painted before my visit, the main buffet restaurant was closed for painting and rework so all meals were at the ocean side al la cart restaurant, so not all the normal facilities were available such as pasta station/pizza etc. The resort grounds are in great shape, everywhere,the gardeners work wonders. Food for Cuba was varied and well cooked, never was hungry or had stomach issues. The beach is one of the best in the area or in fact Cuba . The pool was just repaired / refilled and in great shape .
