Hands down best vacation we have ever taken! This resort is stunning and the people even more so! Your every wish is taken care of quietly before you even ask for it! They are there to make your experience the best possible one. If you are not having a good time there, it would be your own fault. Although the resort construction was not of highest quality perhaps, it did not affect our trip whatsoever. Small shower leak was minimal disturbance and repaired quickly. The food was over the t [... read more]op and highest quality drinks possible with wonderful bar specials. Entertainment was great, Michael Jackson show was so fun! Too hard to have a favorite restaurant-favorite breakfast spot was either Lobster House or Kitchen Table, and dinner -Magna/Spice Hibachi/Chez Isabelle. Would recommend one thing to coordinate food/alcohol supplies little better to ensure enough for each restaurant. Gorgeous property for relaxation!

Riu Reggae: Best vacation ever!

The resort itself is beautiful - the rooms are clean and modern, and I liked that the resort is small so everything is in close proximity. We had a "garden view" room, which was actually just a view of a roof and wall, but as someone who spends as little time in the room as possible, this didn't bother me at all. As a non-smoker, I also liked that there were designated smoking areas and you weren't surrounded by smoke constantly throughout the day. Despite what some reviews have said, we had [... read more] no problems with security or things going missing - I left my phone and money sitting at my lounge chair most of the day while I was in the pool or on the beach and at no point was I worried they would go missing. I also found it safe outside the resort - yes, there are drug dealers standing out there, but they don't bother you or try to force you to buy anything if you tell them you're not interested. The food was really good - always something to find at the buffet, and I enjoyed that they always had a Jamaican section at the buffet - so if you missed out on the amazing jerk chicken on the beach, you could still get something authentic at the buffet. We tried all of the restaurants and enjoyed them all. The nightclub on the Montego Bay side was a lot of fun - we went there a few times when we stayed on the resort at night (other nights were spent at Pier 1 and Margaritaville) … unlike the "disco" at most all-inclusive resorts, this one was actually packed every night with people dancing and having a great time. But all other great things aside, what really makes the resort is the AMAZING staff who work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is having a great time. The entertainment staff come around at 10 a.m. every day to say good morning to every guest, get people involved in playing games, and can always be seen walking around chatting with everyone. In the afternoon they're back for more fun at the pool, and then back again at night to put on an amazing show - they're all incredible performers and I was mesmerized watching them every night. A MASSIVE shout out to T-Rex (thanks for teaching me how to play dominos, and for putting up with our ridiculously horrible horseshoe skills haha), Sonic, Short Boss, Shampoo, Bru, Hollywood, and of course String Bean (first name String, last name Bean! … he has the most infectious smile and his energy is something else!) who kept us entertained all day and all night. The bar staff Vaughns, Crystal and Shaquille who kept the energy up and drinks flowing all day, and Chevoy and Stainton at night - I never had a problem getting a drink, and they always remembered my order and had them ready to go when they saw me coming. I have been to a lot of all-inclusive resorts, and have never experienced a group of people more dedicated to making sure that every single guest is having the best time possible. We had planned to go on some excursions, but were having so much fun on the resort that we didn't want to leave - the staff made the vacation for me and I can't wait to come back to see them all again soon! If you're deciding whether to stay here or not, please do - you will not regret it!!

The hotel was very clean.The pools were awesome,fantastic variety of food and all the staff were awesome,The best time I have had so far at this resort and the improvements they have made are very nice!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Did not meet expectation

Customer service was awful, even speaking with management of customer relations was horrible. The food was constantly cold and not always replenished, everyday we seen cockroaches in the restaurant area as well as the hallway, our room wasn't restocked with towels we had to ask for towels everyday, a la carts weren't running for the first 4 days of our trip and then when they were running only 1 a la cart a night was running for approx. 1600 guests, staff were rude and pushy and actually reques [... read more]ted tips, the best part of our trip was the weather, the company we were with and when we left the resort - the resort was so horrible to be at that we left everyday to eat, the pool was very nice but the deck smelt so awful like old mop water, the beach is very clear and clean but shallow and rocky for the first couple of feet, and crabs For a "5 star" resort it was truly disappointing and this was our 6th visit to Jamaica and worse vacation ever

Secrets St James: Not what we expected for the upgraded preferred.

We went to Secrets St. James "Preferred". We had gone to a Secrets hotel in Punta Cana "Preferred" 2 times previous, so we were under the assumption that all Secrets "Preferred" were the same. Not so, my advise is that if you want to go to this resort do not pay for the upgrade "Preferred" In talking with other people on the resort who were not in the "Preferred Section" they basically have all the same amenities. We have narrowed it down to the only thing that the regular section doesn't g [... read more]et is sunscreen. Big deal. The food not great. The restaurants were not always opened. Entertainment staff were great. (Stella) Bar tender at the main pool was very entertaining as well. (Merlando) Beach Fair. Will not return to this resort.

Couples Swept Away: We will be back!!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Couples Swept Away, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however if you are looking for posh accommodations then this is not the resort for you. As always, we found the food to be excellent and plentiful. Service is sometimes slow, but remember that you are on "island time". We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and when we asked to be moved to a different room due to an ant problem, they accommodate [... read more]d our request immediately and we ended up with a room that had a better view of the beach. The grounds of the resort are lush and beautiful, and meticulously cared for by the staff. The beach is the best we have seen in the Caribbean; white sand and crystal clear water. There are some vendors selling their wares along the beach, however a simple "no thank you" will send them on their way. We met other couples who have been to this resort multiple times, some of them as many as 30 times! We cannot wait to go back again!!

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Great Time!

The hotel is amazing. The staff was super courteous which made our stay very pleasurable. This is one of the most memorable trips that my husband and I have had so far. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Zilara.

Grand Pineapple Beach: Never again

We had mold in our room ,we asked to have another room ,they said yes but had to pay almost 300.00 that was so stupid the resort was almost empty . And thinking this is owned by Sandal what a shame. Would never recommend to anyone.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Truly Grand

This was our 4th time visiting the grand, and once again it did not disappoint. The food, drinks, grounds, rooms and especially staff/people are absolutely amazing. I would give it 10 stars if possible. You are treated like royalty!!! We will be back for a fifth time for sure!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Everything I was looking for

Great resort for our family, lots to do, great snorkeling right off the beach, great food and lots of options, freindly staff. I would also recommend doing an excursion to see Jamaica, lots to choose from for a fair price.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic Resort!

This resort really does have it all. Although you will definitely have to walk a lot, it is worth it as this resort is well equipped for your every need. The pool is clean and of course has a pool bar. The beach area is beautiful. Not a lot of people hassling you and lots of chairs available. Soooo much good quality food. If you say you can't find something, you must be impossible to please. There are four specialty restaurants. My favorite was the French; the Chateaubriand was to die for!! The  [... read more]buffet was great as well though, with so much to choose from. The shows are ok, not really my thing, but there are so many excursions to try out near here. The rooms are very big with four poster beds, the bathrooms have a shower and a whirlpool tub and there is a large balcony. The service here is fantastic. The place is so clean I didn't even see an abandoned cup and the servers are all too happy to cater to your every need. Beautiful place, beautiful weather, beautiful people. I will be back. One love.

Riu Montego Bay: Our Home Away from Home!

First Impression: Efficient, clean, very children oriented. family oriented. First Food Experience: Overwhelmingly impressive, service so friendly and professional. Entertainment from day to night, had something for all ages and tastes! well done all! First Look around the grounds: night time, so limited to landscaped lighting, but at dawn, I went for a walk along the beach, and saw clean up crews already at work preparing for the busy rush of guests to come down and enjoy the space. The poo [... read more]l and the pool side amenities were so much more than I could imagine from the pictures and videos from the booking info. As we stayed on in the week, a few glitches with our room (1001) were discovered and handled both with maintenance, security, and cleaning staff to the best of their abilities, with an aged building, and high humid weather conditions against us. finally, for health reason I was forced to move to another room, that was clearly an up graded room, with more air circulation, as it was on the second floor 0114. Thank you to all staff and management, for allowing our family such a glorious experience, and to make sweet memories. Will be recommending whole heartingly to all family and friends!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful large resort

Hotel was beautiful and grand. Grounds were very well maintained and the shuttle was nice as it is a very big resort. Rooms were great size, modern and comfortable. Nice living space and balcony and bathroom was great size. Mini bar was nice to have but only served beer and soft drinks wish there was liquor. The spa was a great experience and a nice quiet spot to relax using the water therapies. Food was good especially the beef patties and mozzarella sticks. Mexican restaurants was a disappointment and the Japanese was a fun experience and good food Service from all employees was great !! Not to happy about the small man made beach but the water was calm and relaxing. Pool is the largest pool in Jamaica fun for those that enjoy pools

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great family resort

We went for a family vacation with our 2 year old son. We found the hotel clean there are lots of activities as well for everyone. We recommend paying a little extra to get the golden club. Worth the perks like room service included whenever we wanted. The beach is shallow and there were lots of fishes. The kids pool was fantastic and Our room was quiet so we were able to sleep early for our son. I would go back and food was good too not fantastic but you eat well. Sandals Dunn's River: Let me help narrow it down, choose this place!

Hotel surpassed our expectations. Everything was very close by. Food was excellent, not alot of variety, however, the dishes were so good that we didn't need any more variety. Has 24 hr food, 24 hr gym. We had a king size bed, mini fridge stocked with actual Coke ( not Pepsi), strong shower pressure. Customer service world class. Very chill vibes.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Not So Amazing Resort

The grounds were beautiful and the food was delicious but unfortunately that's where the beauty ended. The hotel was dated and dirty, the rugs in the hall ways were filthy. The air conditioner in our room was broken, they moved us 1 o'clock in the morning. The staff on the front desk were the farthest thing from friendly I've ever seen. It was like we were bothering them every time we went there for anything. This was our first trip there and it will be our last. Riu Montego Bay: Great Resort

Overall hard working people who keep the grounds clean. The food was Good. The house keeping was Great, they went beyond my expectations! The excursions were fantastic, we have never seen the ocean with that color blue! Overall it was a great experience, I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Sandals Dunn's River: Early anniversay vacation Sept 2018

Bus ride around 1hr45min well worth it !! Greeted with cold towel and cold drink. Check-in was fast ,we upgraded our room that was done smoothly By Tia. You get a activity bulletin everyday check it for events and Restaurant hours. Jade Samurai resto is the only one you have to make reservations for .All restos are good. Pools are great. Beach is awesome, clean sand, no seaweed clear water. Events: Honeymoon Anniversary cocktail, Jamaican street dance , Managers cocktail reception, Beach part [... read more]y, Dinning under the Stars, Beach Dinner and dancing, Bling disco every night. All staff are friendly greeting you with a smile, Wagwon, from the heart !!! Riu Palace Jamaica: Outstanding Resort!!!

This resort was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and decorated beautifully, the food at the buffet and all of the restaurants was excellent and lastly the staff were helpful, fun and plentiful!! Wouldn't hesitate to go again!!

This was our third visit to this resort, we were married there last year. We love the atmosphere, the people and the food is always delicious. It is an older hotel but the friendliness of the staff and service make it a great vacation. Our big criticism this time was the new time share sales pitch.
