Gran Muthu Imperial: Great resort

The people make this resort from the welcome desk all the bars and restaurants all family now this was our second time and booked our third for February already. The grounds are well kept rooms are clean the pools are very clean

Hotel Vigia: Incredible experience

We loved the staff, they were So friendly and made you feel welcome We didn’t have any complaints about any part of our trip. The entertainment was a lot of fun to watch and participate in We can’t wait to go back.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Gran Muthu Imperial

In general, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was very comfortable, the pools were very good, the recreation staff were excellent, service was very good. We had no issues with cleanliness or the staff. The food at the buffet tended to be the same every day, but managed to hit all the food groups and we certainly did not starve. Our only hiccup occurred during checkout. We charged an inexpensive bottle of wine to our room. We wanted to settle our account with our credit card. The  [... read more]concierge tried to put the transaction through on our VISA card, which we had used successfully in the hotel a few times during the week. The concierge said the transaction was not going through and that there must be something wrong with the card because their system was operating perfectly well all morning. So, we tried two other credit cards and got the same results. In order to settle our account, we were forced to convert canadian funds into CUC. And so, we did. When we got to the Cayo Coco Airport, we made purchases using our VISA card, successfully. When we got home, I contacted VISA to inquire if/why they had denied the transaction at the hotel. VISA said there is no record of the transaction and there was absolutely nothing wrong with our card or our account. The insult came 3 days later when I noticed the charge for the bottle of wine showed up on my VISA statement. I contacted VISA to investigate and cancelled our current card numbers.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Melia Cayo Guillermo Is My New Cuban Home

I have been travelling to Cuba for a number of years now to enjoy some the great scuba diving there. During this time, I have really come to appreciate and rely on the quality of service at the Melia chain of resorts. Recently I stayed at Melia Cayo Guillermo and was very impressed on all counts. The staff are very approachable, attentive and responsive to the guests.You will quickly feel like special family that has returned home during your visit. During my stay, there were a number of people that I would love to thank including the staff in Reception, the Quality Manager, the servers in the Buffet and snack bar along with the wonderful people that worked behind the scenes taking care of the details that help to make your stay the best. Food is fantastic... Best I have had in Cuba !! Scuba Diving ---- Beyond incredible !!!! Just so much marine life that everywhere you look. The dive staff at Coco Diving is one of the best and I highly recommend them and the sites as must visits regardless of experience level. If you are interested in trying, you will be treated to an experience that you will be smiling about for some time after. If you are a seasoned diver, such as myself, you will also thoroughly enjoy the quality of diving and the competence of the staff. I do have to say that this trip to Melia Cayo Guillermo is the best I have ever had and will be back in the coming months for more. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing week in Cayo Coco

The Memories Caribe hotel was well kept with beautiful gardens, rooms cleaned daily and the food was pretty good! We stayed in a newly renovated room and the only complaint was it had no bathroom door. I had bought a shower curtain and brought some just a drop and it worked pretty good. The beach was absolutely stunning and you could walk out quite far. There are sand flies and I did get a few bites. Bring some bug spray for the beach and evenings. We took a trip into the town of Moron for the day and hired the fellow that was out front of the hotel to bring us in his 57 Chevy.. It was a GREAT week in Cayo Coco. Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Not for me! Not 5 star at all!

Grounds were nice Pools were good Maid service was good. Transportation to and from airport good and on time FOOD looked good, barely warm always soggy ! Take nothing from steamer trays, it's terrible! Mini bar never restocked Bar at pool always running out of pop for children, come back in 20 minutes, Out of plastic cups! Again! Melia Costa Rey: Great Resort

Well designed Resort. The a la carte restaurants are very good. I paid extra for gourmet restaurant and it was worth it. The beach was long and beautiful. Staff very friendly. Delicious cappuccino. The two negatives are: poor Wifi reception and no water pressure and no hot water.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice resort

Memories Flamenco is a nice resort with a good beach and good amenities. Lots of chairs and huts on the beach - we never had to rush to get one. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was fine - we went to the buffet every night and were able to find something to eat. We would look around, pick what you like and have the guys on the grill heat it up/stir fry it. Beautiful view of the ocean from the second floor of building 3. Resort is a perfect size making it easy to get around from beach to pool to restaurants.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms clean and modern...no real beach on the property but the adjoining hotel has a nice one....food was okay. Great week of relaxation with amazing staff. Would go back and stay here again!

Hotel Camino del Mar: Great beach, clean resort and good food!!

Incredible beach and super location.Staff is excellent is all area's, good service and good food.Rooms a little tired, but spacious, clean and safe. This was my 2nd time here and it wont be my last. An excellent location for those who want the sun, sand and relaxing atmosphere. ,

Hotel Camino del Mar: Decent resort

Arrival at the resort is quick from the airport, check in was fairly speedy. However, as a group of 8, one of the rooms had been stripped and still had belongings from the last people inside when we checked in. This was quickly cleared up. Bar service was good, could use a few more servers as it was sometimes slow when it got busier in the lobby. Food overall was not bad, I am picky and managed to find something everyday. Did pick up an e-coli bug before leaving, but not sure where it was from.  [... read more]The pier and beach are great, nice views, good swimming and fishing. The staff where great, the lady in the towel hut was accommodating to allow us to keep our fishing gear there, close to the beach so as not to lug it around. The guys at the lunch bar went above and beyond in preparing a snapper we caught off of the pier for our lunch, was amazing. And the folks in the buffet also prepared a table and some wahoo that we caught for us and made a big deal about it. The chef in the international restaurant made a gluten free cake for us with ingredients we brought and provided champagne for a birthday celebration. So, staff go above to make sure you are happy. The rooms could use some updating, most of our safes did not work, tried to have it fixed but with no luck. Toilets didn’t flush well and very little water pressure in our room, but it was reasonably clean. Decent place for the money.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Very impressed with the resort

We were the lucky winners of the Trivia contest; Thank you Trip Central. As result of prior visits to Cuba, we are reluctant to go back however this resort surpassed previous experiences by far. The staff was always pleasant and eager to please. Meals were as good as DR however we stuck to fish and chicken. Entertainment in the daytime was lacking, probably due to miscommunication with the guests and low season. Evening shows seemed good however we found that we were exhausted by the time  [... read more]shows started so did not stay long. Would suggest the resort should label foods and provide drink menus. Ala-cartes we pleasant and presentation very professional.

Melia Costa Rey: Great Beach

The resort grounds were very well maintained, with friendly maintenance staff. All of the entertainers were amazing, a huge shout out to Chco, Adrian & the Twins !! As for the front desk they could have been a little more friendly and accommodating, maybe cracked a smile once in a while. Lots of walking with not much direction when your away from the pool areas. The beach was great of course.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Good place to vacation

The hotel was as good as we thought it would be as it was our 5th time at Muthu. The staff were amazing, as for the food at the start it was not that good but after the 3rd day it was a lot better.The beech still needs a lot of work.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Another wonderful trip

We just love this resort. This was our sixth trip to Cayo Guillermo. It is starting to feel like a second home. It is a smaller resort, so you are never far away from any of the amenities. The staff are simply fantastic. You are always met with a smile, whether it be the General Manager, a gardener, a life guard or servers. All staff seem to genuinely care about your satisfaction. Food quality is above average for Cuba. The rooms are clean and everything worked as it should. The infrastructure is a little older but we here that renovations are coming. Gran Muthu Imperial: Beautiful, modern, luxurious!

This resort was exactly what I was looking for. Modern and airy with a cozy feel, the beautiful lobby filled with comfy lounge chairs and soft lighting was a wonderful place to relax in the evening while the excellent hotel staff took care of every whim. Trully deserving of its five star rating!

Hotel Camino del Mar: My best Cuban resort

It was the best resort I went too, Edel our waiting was amazing!! He was always ready for us and helped with everything we needed (including set up for friends bday, and perpare fish we caught). It’s the best fishing resort. Everyone was friendly. The food the same, but enough supplies to change it up now and then. I’m a picky eater but had more then enough to eat. Staff was super friendly.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Very nice resort

The food was good, keeping in mind that the food is never the reason to visit Cuba. The people are great, the beach fantastic, entertainment awesome and drinks were awesome. Sometimes the mosquitoes were annoying so keep in mind that rubbing Gin on your skin works well while anything with DEET does nothing so leave those behind.

Melia Costa Rey: Pullman collection

All I can say is wow!! This resort ticked all the boxes. We were treated like royalty! The staff or as I would say Pullman family are just amazing and truly make your vacation the best. I have always loved the beaches in cayo coco and this resort just add the polish to that feeling. Food was amazing, drinks were great and they will make just about anything you want.
