Moon Palace Cancun: Big, Clean, resort

Me and my husband loved Moon Palace.We stayed at Nizuc lobby, which we though was the best out of the three. It is medium sized, not too crowed, and can easily access the other two lobbies. Sunrise was good because it had more restaurants. What we didn't like *The only thing I didn't like was the murky ocean water, where I would have liked to swim in, but we were aware of this from the many reviews we read. *Romantic Dinner was mediocre *expansive. *The 90 min presentation. They were forceful a [... read more]nd rude. Restaurant recommendations - Brazilian Steakhouse - is so awesome. We went twice - The golf course Italian restaurant - was good, but the waiter was understaffed and service was not good. Had to wait a lot. You have to make reservation in advance - The steakhouse by Sunrise poolside at night was good. - The Mexican place at Nizuc for dinner. We enjoyed Mexican good - The taco bar at grande poolside is small, but there "octopus taco" is so amazing.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: fabulous for the 4th time

Outstanding customer service, friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food! What more can you ask for? Well, just ask for it and it is likely you will get it here. The pools are extensive and there was lots of room for everyone. No lounger wars here! The beach is nice for those who love the beach, with great food and service on the beach. Great live night time music made our evenings enjoyable. The room service is good, high end beverages - just ask! This is a relatively quiet resort, not too young [... read more] a crowd... and adults only. Restaurants have excellent food and service for an all-inclusive. Do try the French, the Tapas restaurant and the Basmati for sure. The recent addition of a coffee shop is just icing on the cake... we WILL be back!

Grand Oasis Sens: If you are 40 and above with bad knees do. Not go

The beach was beautiful but with bad knees you could not get down without a lot of pain. I did get down once and it was just great, if my knees were good this vacation would have been 30% better. I did tell my travel agent we had bad knees. This resort to me out of the last 12 places we visited in Mexico is number 12.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Friendly Resort

The staff are very friendly and cater to you needs. Food choices are excellent at the resort or in town. Rooms are clean and f you have a problem its fixed quickly. Washroom in the pool area gets over used but if people were made aware of the one near the buffet restaurant it would relieve the pressure. Would return again.

Grand Oasis Sens: Not very good hotel

Food was poor and room air conditioning did not work. You had to book most of the restaurants a minimum of 48hrs prior to going and the buffet restaurant food was not labelled so you never knew what you were eating. Our room had a water leak near the window that never stopped leaking. This is suppose to be rated 4.5 stars resort, more like 2.5 stars. The main bar in the lobby was interesting and the restaurants near the hotel were very good and inexpensive but we had paid for an all inclusive an [... read more]d had to enjoy our best meal outside the resort.

The Bel Air: Nice small hotel, and great friendly staff!!

Mr. Roberto Diaz, general manager, came through with a nice pool/beach room view for our 45 wedding anniversary! All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are happy, the food is exquisite, would go back!!

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort for families, good value for money

This resort was clean, the rooms comfortable and there were lots of activities for kids, including the baby paradise club for our 2yr old. There is a good choice of restaurants for dinner and the buffet has a good selection of food for breakfast. If your kids eat lunch early (midday) there isn't a lot of options other than hotdogs/burgers or sushi (which wasn't great). The pools are awesome, watersides are great for the kids - but all of the pools are quite cold. We spent most of our time on the [... read more] beach, which was really well looked after and the water was beautiful to swim in if calm, on windy days it can get very rough. The hotel house keeping staff were a little slow to deal with - our fridge didn't work for the first three days despite numerous requests, and we had to wait a while for a crib too. But otherwise a great trip for the money.

Isla Mujeres Palace: Rest & Relaxtion - Beautiful Resort

My husband I visited this resort from March 3-10. We had a wonderful time. Not one issue. Everyone was so nice and couldn't do enough for you. If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, this is the place for you! Beautiful beach front and spacious pool. Lots of lounge chairs. A great outdoor snack shack! Fantastic food on the buffet and off the menu. Quiet evenings with some entertainment. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to unwind and just take it all in.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Nice beach and pools. Try to avoid March break!

On the plus side: beach is wonderful, lots of restaurants (two buffets, steakhouse, Mexican, Chinese). On the minus side: too noisy for us. The 5 buildings are built such you hear a closed door not only from your level but from all the 10 halls inside the building and believe me, there were lots of closed doors because we caught the US March break and there was a lot of screaming in the middle of the night! Paid $30 USD to get internet access. Be aware: inside the resort there are at least 8 travel agents working 8 to 5 from a travel agency Lifestyle…something , who are trying to lure with a tequila welcome package into a travel membership with them. Overall experience: 3.5 -4 stars.

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Good smaller family resort

Rooms (junior suite ocean view) we clean, spacious, beautiful view. A little distance from the dense hotel district. Resort is in the small side, not very much dining but the food quality is good. Water park and surrounding activities were great for the kids, bar and washrooms on that side were really nice. Lots of activities, nice beach and I felt safe letting my nine year old explore a little on his own.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Great fun

The room, staff ,beach , food , entertainment were all great. The access to the ferry was very close to get to isla mujeres . The activity on the beach and pool got everyone involved. I would recommend trip central to everyone . This was my girlfriends first trip and looking forward to go again.

NYX Hotel Cancun: really enjoyed our week at nyx

loved the small size of the resort everything was a short walk we had a mastersuite which was very nice the elevator was fast the food was very good no stomach issues all week i liked that you ordered off a menu the food was always hot and fresh and it was always delivered fast the service was fantastic

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Fantastic resort

Everything was clean and fresh. Staff was everywhere and extremely pleasant. There were always spots on beach or near a pool. There were lots of pools so nothing was crowded. Never a line up at the restaurants either. I believe there were about 11 restaurants. All food was delicious. There was always something nearby and open for eating. Lots of bars around as well. Never had to go far for a beverage. Kids were allowed on this resort but not once were we annoyed. There were also festivities put on nightly and themed meals every other night. Loved the resort. We will be back.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: + great beach -everyone that stayed was sick

the hotel grounds were in good condition .My problem was the food at the buffet was cold until I complained to the hotel manager Carlos that our whole family of 5 has been ill. The dinner reservations is a joke no availability until late with young kids its jut not happening the hotel staff try's hard but sadly they are under staffed for the amount of guest staying at there establishment.

Grand Oasis Sens: Good time but wouldn't go back

The hotel was nice - rooms and pools were clean. Most of the staff were friendly and the restaurants were for the most part fairly good. Only complaints are that we basically had to beg for water bottles as they never filled up the mini bar in our room. The nightclub was good on the nights there were performances. Otherwise, the place was pretty dead after 11pm.

Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas: Perfect Hotel

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas from February 22-29 2015. We were totally satisfied with this hotel. We arrived at approximately 12:30pm and thought we would have to wait till 3 for our room as this has happened in every hotel I've been in. However we were immediately given our room. We also requested a cot for the 3rd person and just as porter bringing our luggage into room the cot arrived. In other hotels in Mexico we have waited days for a cot. It was close to several shopping malls either a short bus ride or taxi ride away. And as my friends and I love to shop it was perfect. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and alcoholic drinks very good. We will return to this hotel

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Spot on the Beach

Had a really nice time at the Gran Caribe. Facilities were clean and well maintained, beach was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. Service and food on site was also top notch. Very satisfied overall!

Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun: Great resort!

The hotel and grounds very clean and beautiful with lots of Palm trees. Pool area and beach most beautiful I've seen. The food and service impeccable and choices and places to get food are countless ( fish taco's,nachos, pizza, smoothies, hamburgs, wings and chicken nuggets). There was even a ice cream wagon that came through the pool area. Clean towels twice daily and water delivered daily. Very much a family resort but many areas to be off on your own if desired. Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Wonderful hotel!

This was our first time staying at the Crown Paradise and we loved it. Rooms are clean. The grounds are beautiful not to mention the beautiful beach and sand. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. We never had any issues.

Live Aqua Cancun: Great Hotel

This hotel has everything you need. The rooms are very clean; the staff is amazing; the food is fantastic...we only ate at the buffet for breakfast because there was so many other options to choose from. After one dinner, we decided to go check out the buffet and they were serving prime rib....not too shabby!!!! The beach is beautiful...very wide...even with high tide, you still had tons of room and you could walk forever down the beach!! The water is stunning but be prepared for waves....person [... read more]ally...I love them, it's so much fun trying to body surf and jump them. There is always a red flag displayed but honestly, if you can tread water and have any sort of co-ordination to balance yourself....you can definitely go in the ocean. If young children are playing in the water, I think it must be safe. And if you are a little nervous, just swim close to other people (and lifeguards) instead of going down the beach and swimming in an isolated area. Entertainment - This hotel does not have nightly shows like most other hotels....but honestly...it's an adults only and from my experience, a lot of those shows are directed towards kids...who are usually running around screaming....didn't miss it at all. If you want to party during the day, there is a section of the pools that is definitely for the "party animals". At night, the younger adults went out to the bars (very close) and there was some entertainment...just not wild and crazy. The one thing I will say that this hotel needs to improve on is advertising the activities that do go on at the hotel. We missed a great night of entertainment when there was a buffet and live band playing by the pool one night because we weren't informed it was for the guests, someone said it was for a private function.....too bad because it would have been fun!! One last thing...the spa!! I booked a 50 minute massage which was about $125 (Canadian)...I know but I really wanted one!! Boy...was I surprised!! I was told to show up an hour before the massage and I was treated to a dry sauna, wet sauna with aromatherapy, hot tub with cucumbers on my eyes....it was awesome!! So basically, I paid for 2 hours of pampering. Oh yeah...we had an oceanfront room. Normally I don't really care about our room views but this one was unbelievable and not that much more money. We woke up every morning to a full view of the ocean. Our last morning, we ordered room service and sat on our balcony enjoying the food, the view, the sound of the waves...and of course...the company :)
