Sunscape Dominicus La Romana: Better than expected!

My overall experience was better than expected based on the negative reviews I read prior to my stay. Service: I would say that majority of the staff were quite friendly and attentive except for when we checked out very early in the morning….the service we experienced was way below par. The man serving us had no smile, no acknowledgment, no thank you for staying with Sunscape or even have a safe trip…..nothing, just a sour face! Rooms: It was a bit dated but it was clean and had everything w [... read more]e needed. Hotel: overall the Hotel was very nice and quite big. No elevators. Pool: Many pools including the VIP pool. My only negative is with people reserving loungers/huts by the pool/beach early in the morning when they are not physically present and that remains an issue. It is unfair to other guests who do not get the opportunity to have one. Beach: a bit rocky with a bit of seaweed however if you walk further down by the Hyatt towards Iberostar Hotel the ocean is awesome with no rocks. Entertainment: was better than expected! Every night there was some form of entertainment whether it was in the Theatre and/or “live’ music by the bar near the lobby. One night a week is a “white party” by the beach and that was a ton of fun. Also one day a week there is a “pool party” which is also very entertaining.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Great resort!

The entire resort are is well maintained. Great walking trails, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was excellent. Air conditioning was great, food was good. I would recommend this resort.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Amazing Resort!

Beautiful resort with lots of ammenities and filled with lots of lush and rich greenery. Calm and peaceful and large to walk around and enjoy. Beach, hotel room, restaurants were all very well kept and provided many options. Pools nice and relaxing (although one was in need of some cleaning) and the food options at all the restaurants were great. Gym and spa also available for relaxing/workout.

Occidental Caribe: Extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the resort. Your company advertised it as a 4.5-star resort, but it barely meets a 3.5-star standard. We encountered plumbing issues, there were no towels in the room, and the food quality was subpar, with an abundance of low-quality options like hot dogs. This experience has made me hesitant to book future trips through TripCentral, as I feel misled by the representation of the resort on your website.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Beautiful Resort

A little bit of everything, it was quiet when you wanted to relax or Ron’s of fun if you wanted to dance and enjoy the shows. The entertainment in the lobby was amazing each evening. They did an amazing job getting people up and participating. The rooms were perfect. The ocean was amazing. I can’t wait to go back again. Our concierge Jenfry was helpful in keeping us informed on the events and things to do. Checking to make sure we were ok and had what we needed. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Really Super Resort

My stay at the VH Gran Ventana was wonderful. The staff were very helpful. The maids kept the room extremely clean and the fridge well stocked. The buffet had a huge variety to choose from every day and there was more than enough food. The grounds are extremely well kept. Thankfully we only had one day of rain. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very good vocation experience

Very convenient location, lots of delicious food and drinks, no lines on main and beach restorans. Beautiful resort, nice beach, lots of green space everywhere!!! Definitely come again!!! Thank you very much ???

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: BAHIA LUXURY

Since our last trip, 5 years ago, we found that there were areas that needed more love. We had mold spots on our ceiling and around the shower. Something we would not have seen before. Arrived to very noisy AC and fan that was not functionning properly. Fan was replaced immediately and attempt to fix the AC was also handled. We also have worries with staff entering our room for 2nd time in a day to make bed or not at all (only once). Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Nice resort but looking worn and needs upgrade

Very large resort. Long walks to the beach, perhaps to long if you are not in good shape due to the heat. Service was good around the pool and the lobby. Buffet - food - good variety and quality, Service - Attentive. Only able to book two other resturants - Japanese and The Garden - both good food and service. Rooms - key issues, patio door would not lock, sheets worn but servicable. TV very bad reception. Maid service good

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Amazing vacation!

I recently stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana during our vacation, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the warmth of the staff. Ocean El Faro: Amazing resort

Pretty much loved everything about this resort, all the restaurants were very good. We didn't enjoy the buffett but that was us. Plenty of pools to choose from. Staff all very friendly. If you're a beach walker this wasn't for you, it was all full of rocks you couldn't really get to the ocean if you manged to no where to walk full of rocks. If you're taking kids on this resort it's awesome for them Plenty for them to do.

Occidental Caribe: Group trip

As a group we found this hotel may be suited more for the party environment yet there were a lot of kids. We found the over all noise level loud especially eating at the buffet and evening entertainment. We are a group in our 40 s . The daytime staff are friendlier than the evening staff and booking a la carts is next to impossible. We found our booking was done on wrong dates and came across others with the same issue. Rooms had to be moved due to broken facilities and it took 3 days to accommo [... read more]date this. We sent booking numbers to have 3 rooms booked close together and we ended up at completely different ends of the resort. At times it felt the staff was making things more difficult than needed to be.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good Value

We had a swim out highly recommend it. The rooms were very clean had no issues. The concierge/Butler went above and beyond as well as the beach, staff pool staff, and the restaurant staff they were always working so hard to make sure you were well looked after. The only negative thing that I would have to say is about towels on the chair around the pool and beach. We’re always taken no matter what time you’ve seem to get up. Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: 5 Day Getaway

We had a great 5 day Getaway to Jewel Palm that was booked last minute without much research on the resort. We were pleasantly suprised at how much we enjoyed it. Pro's: Check in was quick and we were able to get our room 3.5 hours early. Check Out was great, we managed to ask and get a 5PM checkout to meet our requirements which allowed us to enjoy the resort longer Buffet was very good for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Shower Pressure was 10/10 with lots of hot water. Pools were clean and close to the beach/restaurant. Cons: Room is dated. It didn't discourage us. Everything was operational AC was working but didn't quite get the room as cool as we would like but certainly low enough to be comfortable 20-21 degrees. We would return to this resort for the same price range in which we paid this trip. It is a smaller resort, so you would need to not go back to back but a great 5 day trip

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing time!

We had a fantastic trip. There was so much to do for the kids from the kids club, to the water parks, mini putting, arcade etc. the shows at night were amazing, and the food/drinks were great. There was always something to do. The staff are so friendly, very hard workers. The facilities are all clean and well taken care of. No complaints!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: 3 Star Hotel

Great staff except for dinner staff at Brisa, issues fixed same day, quality of buffets are good but Chez Gourmet had the best service/ food.The location was not relaxing either. Power boats zoomed by with screaming drunks and loud music playing on the boats. Right out front of the beach was holding tanks for dolphins and to the right another was a bar for people to drink so it was not very relaxing. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great resort

The Majestic Colonial is a great resort with an excellent beach. The rooms are a bit dated, but this is secondary. Friendly staff and great services overall. The Club upgrade is quite worth it as you get a bit more services and access to the Club lounge.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Not beach friendly

Seaweed issues on the beach daily. Staff did its best to clean up. Rooms are dated and not enough towels provided. Not enough shade on the beach. Trees to not provide adequate shade. Cabanas should be installed like other resorts on the beach. Eye sore views of the dolphin cage and the party structure was a turn off. Food was good. Buffet was at times better than the À la cart restaurants. Upgrades are definitely needed to give a better customer experience

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Nice resort but too much mosquitoes!

The rooms are old. We are a group of 12 people. We had to change 3 rooms at the first night, we couldn’t sleep because of the mosquitoes everywhere even in the bed! The grand floor is the worst . We moved to the 3 floor and it was acceptable No one told us about the renovated rooms near to the beach that we can upgrade until we went there and they asked for 30 US$ extra per night! Otherwise the food was good and the service was good too.

Impressive Punta Cana: Impressive Punta Cana

Resort is very nice. Have no complaints, the staff were very nice especially, our sever Robinson was a sweetheart. He made my 60th birthday special. They sang happy birthday and brought me a little treat with candles. The buffet is your typical buffet, always could find something to eat. The restaurants, Italian, steakhouse and Japanese were very good. Older resort but very clean.
