Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Wonderful resort

We had amazing service at all the restaurants and beach and around the pool. The fantastic food options did not disappoint. And the beautiful beach was well staffed and clean! We will definitely return to this resort again.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing Experience

Perfect for our family. Safe and clean, lots of entertainment. Beach was amazing and snorkeling was so much fun! Pools were cold but my daughter enjoyed them. Lots of options for food in a friendly atmosphere!

Viva Azteca by Wyndham: Nice place

Washrooms and bar far from the beach swimming pool a bit small everything else pretty good close to the main shopping district nice nightly entertainment and daily activities are for all ages good place for a family with kids

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: nice resort but bad beach

rooms are good, tubs are a little high for old folks to step into, glass enclosure leads to much water on the floor leading to possible accident getting out of tub.. grounds are beautiful. pools are good. door to buffet should be in the middle so you don't have to walk so far if sitting in far corner at back of room. need to put a break out in ocean so beach is protected or allow access to the akumal beach.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Las Americas-Great Place!

This is the first time we stayed here and it was a fantastic stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic food. The hotel is an impressive building itself. Snorkelling was also great on the beach with a lot to see. Thank you RIU

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Mediocre below expectations

The staff are friendly when you first arrive, but near the end of your trip, they prefer to serve the newer guests, no matter how much you provide in gratuities. The grounds are well maintained however, the lobby and all of the rooms are dated and under desperate need of significant repairs Most rooms, including the lobby are covered in mould and condensation, which is unavoidable due to the humidity in the climate. The beach maintenance is much better than past reviews have indicated. Just don’t get suckered into the timeshare presentation! I would not go back. It’s way over priced. TripAdvisor and Google should knock off one of the stars be sure to lower your expectations if you are staying here

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Do not trust in the room safe

My wallet got lost inside the room safe, nobody knows about it. Please make an inventory of your belongings and sign any form after making sure that your belongings are all complete in there. I am just warning others guest.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Amazing

Absolutely beautiful from the grounds to the food, drinks, people and the beach we loved it. The beds are comfortable the cleanliness is impeccable Beach service beach grill the vegan restaurant was yummy and I am not vegan.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Outstanding Resort. Beautiful ambiance and beach.

Our stay at the Iberostar Waves was amazing. The resort is vast and surrounding by lush mangroves that attract birds and hear their chirping. Our room was fabulous close to the beach and could hear the sound of the waves from the room. The staff and services are great. The only drawback was the entertainment. The hotel needs to raise the bar on entertainment. The hotel has many restaurants and offers an international cuisine vegan and gluten friendly options. It is an eco friendly and paperless resort therefore you have to rely on concierge to assist with figuring out the services and navigating the resort. Overall we had a great experience.

Riu Vallarta: Very nice

Grounds and public areas very clean. The areas around the pools had VERY slippery tiles. I witnessed 2 different seniors fall. I also witnessed a few people slip, but recover. This is unacceptable!! As I am aging myself I find the horrendous. Staff very courteous and friendly. Some communication problems as not all staff understand English. Food is average. Spicy should be labeled. There are no complimentary amenities in rooms anymore? I expected this from a Riu. I suppose times are changing and quality has been diminished. Also, I had requested a king bed, I understand it is not a guarantee I would get one on arrival, but this is very important to me. Is there a way I can book it that way and be assured to get one? Not sure Riu is for me anymore?

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres: A-1 Resort

This was a beautiful resort with great staff, great food, clean and modern all in the middle of tropical trees and a beautiful ocean. The quality of the food was amazing entertainment was great as well. Was always something to do see or eat and lots of places to relax.

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Fantastic Resort

Hotel resort was excellent it was our 3rd Riu vacation and we loved each one. The dining, service rooms were always spot on. Very well organized. The outdoor maintenance people made sure grounds were very well kept.

Ocean Maya Royale: Great Resort!

Great Staff, facilities, and overall service. Very well maintained and tidy. We were quite pleased with our entire stay. I would say that we got very good value for the quality of the resort. The sand on the beach was amazing. The lounge chair availability was very good. Patrons were all very respectable.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great resort

Very well kept resort, awesome food with good selection, drinks were great and the staff was friendly and helpful and the beach was amazing!! Lots of green space and always had loungers available and I will definitely be returning next year!!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: 5th time to Mexico and by far the best

Just came back from a pre-Christmas Mexico trip that will be hard to top. The resort was fantastic, the food was excellent, the weather and beach was great. The key item though was the attention paid by the staff. There were initially a couple of issues with the room which were addressed but we were still in two separate non-adjoined rooms. Maria at the front desk kept track, and followed up the next day by offering much larger adjoining rooms for a small upgrade cost. This allowed the who [... read more]le family to be together and also have separate spaces critical with 3 teenagers for the best experience. I have been to many good resorts over the years but Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach was by far the best because of the quality of the resort but much more because of the quality of the service.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Our third time and we will go back.

The best thing about the Sian Ka'an is the staff. From the trolley drivers, to the servers, to the entertainment crew, everyone went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Upon arrival, our transfer took forever, so we missed our dinner reservations over at COBA, but the Maiko, as busy as it was, squeezed us in and we really appreciated that. She even helped me change times of reservations to earlier, as I could only get late reservations through the app. We spent most of our time at the activity pool. I love this pool because it's small, intimate, and a great place to meet other travellers. The entertainment staff were AMAZING. I loved chatting and getting to know them, and I was lucky to win two bottles of tequila playing games. A BIG shout out to Juan, Alexander, Grecia, and Ivan, and also to our poolside server Melissa who always had a smile of her face! We enjoyed the restaurants and the lobby bar, and Aremi at Maiko, Sebastian and Antonio Katok, and Manuela, the evening server at the lobby bar were lovely. I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Jose at the Cenote Bar. We stopped there every night for a glass of wine, and sometimes french fries, lol. He was such a nice guy, always smiling and happy to see us. (So were the racoons when we got fries, lol!) The trolly drives always went out of their way when the could. Sometimes when people had been waiting too long, they would take them where they needed to go, even if they had to go out of their way. They really cared about the guests. Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Home Away From Home

This was our fourth visit to Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort and this place never fails to exceed our expectations. The resort is still absolutely lovely. The rooms are lovely (some still to be renovated), the food is excellent and the ocean vistas and beach are stunning. But what never fails to win us over completely is the STAFF.
