Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing resort

This hotel is all about open comon places like restaurants and bars which are all connected to the beautiful outdoor places. Lots of greens and meticulously kept park area. You are completely surrounded with the jungle as they left lots of trees the way the nature created them. I never seen so much greenery around the hotel. Lots of wildlife on the ground. Entertainment staff is really good. Nightly shows were also very nicely done. Room was big and clean. King size bed with very nice and clean linen. All in all very positive experience and great vacation. Definitely will come back.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: fun family trip

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Paraiso Maya in Mexico. The beach was pretty nice considering there was seaweed due to high winds. The resort did a pretty good job of cleaning the beach on a daily basis. There are lots of pools to swim and they have very good amenities for kids; a dedicated kids club with supervised staff, a pirate ship a wave pool and a lazy river. The Japanese and the statehouse were the best restaurants. We did not like the food at the Jambalaya. Overall great hotel, nice and accommodating staff and very good for kids.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Exceptional resort!!

Hardly know where to begin as everything was just absolutely over the top fabulous!! This was my 19th time to Cuba (always at a different resort) and can say without a doubt, that the Iberostar Ensenachos will be seeing me again!! I have never stayed more than once in ANY resort...but absolutely, positively will come back to this one!! First off, the beach is absolutely breathtaking!! Yes, we did have a few murkyish water days, but understandable as we did have a big rain one night, and then th [... read more]e cold front from the north another, which will bring big waves and upset in the waters…But other than those few days, the water was so crystal clear you could see your toes on the sand and even in areas where one could not stand, you could still see the ocean floor..and all the fish!! Favourite ‘mascot’ red snapper very friendly social fish “Pablo” was a daily visitor waiting for tidbits of food from the tourists (apparently his favourite is hamburgers!! Bananas are a no go with this Pablo!) and also was very welcoming for a little pat!! He usually had his entourage of three other littler versions of himself along…plus many needle nosed fish and many others of which I have no clue what they were lol! The beach bar was on par without ever having to wait for a refreshing drink…with great beach/bar service by Eduardo, R. Carlos, J. Carlos, Yansel and Camilo!! They remembered our choice of drink each and every time from the first!! Then there was the fabulous animation team on the beach..!!!!! From stretching with Elisabet, to dancing and aqua fitness with honorable mentions to Johnny!!!!! Michael Jansell was always around to entertain as well…and cannot forget about Joel…always up to a little salsa any time we ran into him!! Plus so many other numerous animators that were all fantastic ...just can’t remember all their names! Oh…and obtaining a palapa was a breeze with the great assistance of beach attendants Yury and Salvadore!! Never went without one!!...Then the lifeguards…Joel, Pablo and Leonardo…Only thing, that I found very disturbing and disappointing, (and quite frankly unacceptable) was they are not supplied with binoculars, nor a first aid kit???? This should be the basic minimum for a lifeguard to have on hand…thus I lent them my own binoculars which I had brought along, plus purchased a 100 Band-Aid box from the gift shop for them. Not being supplied with them is no fault of theirs, but management should absolutely supply them with the basic necessities every lifeguard should have on hand. Food wise, we never went hungry…there was always fresh fish ready to grill…as well as meats and fresh pasta. Lots of options of salads, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, and desserts….Special mentions to Javier, Armando, Yudany, Annia, Daidenys, Frank and the ever adorable Yaima who presented us with a beautiful flower display of our names on our last evening eating at the buffet!! Must not forget to mention Louardes who made the best breakfast omelets ever!! There were so many mixed opinions about the a la carte restaurants…but from our own personal opinion...it was disappointing to wait 30 minutes before even a glass of water was brought to our table at the Azzia restaurant...and it was downhill from there…at minute 45 we finally had some over to cook….whilst the appetizers were being served (sushi that tasted it was made 2 days before..super salty soup), and then came the undercooked rice and over cooked beef, chicken and shrimp. The surf and turf at the Pirata restaurant at the Ensenachos beach was WAY over cooked…although the rest of the course was on par and special mention to our fabulous waiter Joey!! The Cuban restaurant was delicious…with succulent juicy Mahi Mahi and other courses equally delicious! The Italian restaurant was not what I would call and ‘authentic’ Italian restaurant…but everything was pretty good...except would have appreciated a hotter fried calamari with more sauce as it was sent lukewarm bordering cold with a smidgeon of sauce only. Best part was the hilarious menu…which clearly was not translated properly...but gave us such a laugh reading it lol! Giselle in the lobby bar was fantastic, friendly and just a wonderful person who never failed to bring us our drinks in record time!! All the others were also superb, unfortunately cannot remember all their names. The ONE and ONLY greatly disappointing and in the end infuriating incident was the coffee maker issue. From day one we never had a properly functioning coffee maker (water would never filter through the coffee to land in the pot!) and even after complaining two times a day for a replacement coffee maker, this was only done on afternoon of day 3!!!! This was totally unacceptable, as being a hotel manager myself…this should have been rectified within the first five minutes (not difficult to take a functioning one out of an unoccupied room to replace ours and fix the broken one). A great kudos to all the gardeners, landscapers, clean-up crew on the beach and throughout the grounds, as it was very well kept and groomed …the grounds were luscious with many varieties of plants and trees and very well maintained. Only I think adding more lighting along the walkways would be a big help as there certain sections along the pathways that are either too dimly lit or not at all. Evening entertainment in the theater was always top notch, and could not stop dancing to the great music.!! Staff have my 5* kudos…and to boot met sooooooooooo many wonderful people who were also visiting and gained many valuable friendships!! What a hoot! Cannot wait to get back!!

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Nice resort

Hotel was very clean and the service was amazing! The food was very good with lots of choices. Intimate resort witch what we we're looking for. Lacking o bit of activities during the day but, at day lots of it.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Short Vacation

Over all a good vacation, staff are the best asset to the resort. Pool, rooms, lobby and beaches in the area are very good. Not a lot to do outside of the resort, our 5 day stay was the perfect amount of time for our family.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Loved it

Was at Iberostar Cancun for a week and loved it. Hotel is a little older but it didn’t matter as the service from everyone there was fantastic and the food at the restaurants was excellent especially the Japanese. Great little coffee shop that was inc in price, nice touch . Rooms were ok, good enough, overall will for sure be going back

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing Resort

We stayed in the Grand Village and it was the best vacation we have ever had! Our villa was like an apartment stocked with everything you could ever need. We were treated like royalty with Butlers at our beck and call they even prepared romantic surprises for us like champagne by the hot tub and a bubble bath ready when we got home from the beach! Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Absolutely amazing resort !!

5th visit to Cuba having stayed at different resorts. This one superceeds them by far . Grounds the staff were all amazing . Will definitely be back ! Wished we could have stayed longer. Only slight down was distance to centre of varedero and 15cuc for cost of taxi one way. The varedero bus is great but takes a hour plus to get there.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Beautiful Resort

This is our second time visiting the Iberostar property but our first staying at the Grand Paraiso. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was amazing both at the buffet and the restaurants. The grounds were kept immaculately. The infinity pool was our second home and the bartenders at the swim up bar were amazing, always willing to create new drinks. It was my birthday while I was there and they brought me a special dessert at dinner. The maid also decorated our bed with rose petals and a "towe [... read more]l cake". The Butler, Jesus left a chilled bottle of champagne for us. We will be back !

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Absolutely loved it!

Absolutely loved it! It was clean and the service was amazing! Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Food at the a la carte restaurants were great. The buffet had a lot of variety but food quality was inconsistent. However, they did have items that were made fresh in front of you which was a plus. Pool and beach were awesome. Plan on staying there again.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Extraordinary grounds

Just back from a ten day at this hotel that we have not been to for a number of years. People as always great. Spacious comfortable rooms that are starting to show some age. Food was very good with large variety. Exception to the good food was the Italian restaurant which was fine for the fish choice but not good for Italian. The grounds are lush and colourful and so large. If you want quiet , stay at the adults (spa ) section as we did . Sometimes difficult to get things fixed quickly , case in point was one of the walkways to get to the beach which showed no signs of needed repairs started in the time we were there requiring a longer walk to the other beach access.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great staff, beautiful beach, hotel needs a lot of attention and update

The staff and beach 5 star. Hotel is a 2.5-3 at the best. Good for a few days of relaxation and enjoying beach and pools. Hotel is clean but with a lot of problems. Staff is very attentive and do their best, it is just too difficult to make up for so many short comings... Overall we enjoyed our stay but will not go back or recommend this hotel.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing Resort

This Place is a little piece of heaven it is so amazing. I will not forget the treatment we received while here, from the Butler to the Concierge and staff they all made sure we had an amazing trip. Olivia at the front was AWESOME always greeted us with a SMILE and asked how are day was going. The two Gentlemen that checked us in were also AMAZING they made us laugh and smile the whole time. This resort is so clean the grounds staff were out at 5am when I was on my balcony early morning I would see everyone cleaning the grounds so well. we will definitely be back to Iberostar Grand/ Suites and will recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Jamaica.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Unforgettable vacation

Me and my boyfriend we went to iberostar daiquiri on November 18 for two weeks. As the title states it was unforgettable vacation. The service food staff rooms beach everything about the hotel was fantastic. We flew with air transat our flight and transfer to the hotel went very smooth at the hotel we were greeted with beautiful smile and friendly faces. Our beautiful room was waiting for us. Service at the bar was very friendly and fast. Staff was very helpful at all times. Beach is beautiful white sand baby blue waters. Our safe didnt work the first day but that was quickly fixed. As returning guests we were invited to a special cocktail and all the women were giving beautiful roses and lots of thanks from the stuff to us . Very beautiful elegant clean resort. Friendly staff amazing food. Pools are clean. Beautiful landscape and the beach is gorgeous. Not overcrowded and excursions were so much fun. Lots of things to do

Iberostar Selection Cancun: "Ibero" is a "Star"

Very nice resort nicely situated in the hotel district of Cancun. Easy access to everything. The resort was big but not too big, and extremely beautiful. Golf course was excellent, even with Crocodiles at almost every water hole. Food and service was also very good. A solid resort. All in all Id recommend this a as a vacation spot.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Our favourite place

This was our sixth visit to Iberostar Paraiso Lindo. We are a 3- generation family of 6 (ages 8-62) who have been going annually in November. At first, we chose the resort due to the onsite golf course. The kids club (Star Camp) is amazing. My children, who have been making the trip since they were toddlers, are greeted back every year with full recognition from the year before. The exercise facility is great. The food is wonderful. The staff are friendly. The grounds are well kept. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Matching expectations

Good service, friendly people, variety of food and drinks, beautiful beach. Long drive to the airport allows to see real Cuba. Store selling some cloths but not all the sizes are available which is not different than in many stores back home ( larger sizes ).

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great Stay

Very Clean and beautiful resort. Pool is incredibly large and over looking the expansive beach front. Japanese restaurant was fantastic and definitely a favorit. Great staff. Buffet could have had larger selection for sure. Other resorts have theme nights for buffet which was lacking here. Evening entertainment was ok but not great.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Iberostar Azul

Remember, Cuba is a third world country so when people complain, they aren't taking into consideration the circumstances of the people of Cuba. We had nothing but excellent service at the Iberostar. Yes, it was in need of repair and yes, it was very outdated but if you want to feel welcome and cared for, this is a great place to go.
