Riu Caribe Cancun: Happy stay

We had to change rooms , musty smell and fixtures broken in the bathroom,the front desk was good to deal with and we received a different room the next day, the staff was excellent, food was excellent. We would stay again

Grand Oasis Palm: So so Bad Experience.unclean resort.unhelthy food

Me and my family never forget this resort.standard resort We travelled to Mexico on Feb 3th to the Grand Oasis Palm...Don't stay here unless you want to get sick My family of 7stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm in Feb2016 Within 3 days 3 members became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea and 2 more members became sick in 5th days of our trip. The lab tests showed salmonella poisoning. When reading the reviews of this hotel, we read that many people have gotten sick here. There is no responsible [... read more] manager in this resort . Resort's staff never used gloves and hair cover . When we got sick in resort I asked and I knew that almost 75% of people in resort were sick but unfortunately nobody complained. I went to talk to the manager and I complained to him about unclean and unhealthy foods but he told me the problem was because of the weather. The answer was so ridiculous and S T U P........ If this resort was in Canada for sure I would of sue to Grand oasis Palm We will not return.

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Exceeded expectations!

This was a family vacation with our 5 year old daughter. First time doing an all inclusive. We had read all the reviews about this resort before we booked. We were very pleasantly surprised. When we arrived we asked for a room upgrade and received it. The staff throughout the resort were all amazing! Great service, very friendly and fun group of staff. The resort itself is small compared to many others but lends itself to be a very intimate and personal experience as you get to know all the staff personally. The staff do an amazing job keeping the resort clean including the seaweed on the beach every morning. The food is good but does become repetitive and boring as the week goes on. Also they advertise that the resort has 4 restaurants when it only has two with the themes changing daily. The snack bars however were very good! The nightly shows were great, well done and often very funny. The entertainment staff do a great job of getting all the visitors involved in the shows and daily activities. We will definitely be returning!

Temptation Resort & Spa: Exciting and different style of resort!

This resort is not just an adult only resort. The resort is topless optional and a serious party style resort. It allows couples, singles, groups, etc. We like it because it's fun and sexually charged. Don't go if you are not comfortable with this type of place. The rooms are not great nor is the food. You are paying for the atmosphere. The service is great and you'll meet lots of friends who go often. But it's important to know what the resort is about before you go. Grand Oasis Sens: DIRTY RESORT

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 [... read more]WERE VIOLENTLY ILL., AND THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE GINGER ALE FOR US, BUT SAID THAT I COULD GRAB A TAXI TO THE STORE.

The Bel Air: Good value

Only 1 bar open from 11 am until midnight. Beautiful presentation of meals,but very small menu. Service depending on the day, some very hard working employees, and some not so active. No entertainment at night.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Wonderful Resort

Service was excellent. Grounds and beach beautiful. All public areas and public washrooms very clean. Pools a little chilly in February and difficult to get in and out of. Rooms comfortable, beds good and decent pillows. Staff wonderful and accommodating. Food was plentiful and very good.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: great family resort

Kids club and water slides were great and loved by by kids. The burgers and fries at the poolside snack bar were great. Also, crapes station at LA Palapa was great. Mechanical Bull st Wayne's Booths ! Overall a great value for the family.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great vacation

Food was fantastic, drinks were cold, sun was warm:) Staff were mostly helpful and accommodating. Tower 2 (adults only) was definitely nicer and better maintained than tower 1. Pools were lovely, entertainment could have been better located. (Hot, stuffy and crowded room indoors). Elevator in tower 1 (middle one) was super sketchy....first day we hit "lobby" and the doors opened to a cinder block wall with spray paint on it. Scared the pants off my 9 year old daughter. But we were lucky because  [... read more]the next day other guests got stuck in it for 15 minutes. The other two worked marginally better (stopped at EVERY floor on the way down and up). Grand Oasis Cancun: Some good and some not-so-good

I had a great time on my vacation. The food was great, and the entertainment was really good. The beach was awesome, and the vendors that are always around weren't pushy. The Steakhouse was fabulous, and worth the long wait to get in. The drinks were yummy too :) However, the front desk staff and housekeeping are terrible. It took us almost 2 hours to check in. The housekeeping staff didn't receive a single tip from us all week, because the room was never actually cleaned...just beds made and s [... read more]ometimes we got new towels, and other times we had none at all. As far as recommending the resort to others...I would recommend it for groups of friends who just want to party...it is a lot of fun there. But bring your own beach towel.

Riu Cancun: Great Place to take a vacation

The hotel and grounds were top notch. Everyday the place was cleaned top to bottom. Food was plenty, fresh good and lots of options. Service was excellent from the bar to the dining areas to the maid service.

Moon Palace Cancun: The best there is!

Have visited Moon Palace two years in a row and haven't been to a better all inclusive. Entire staff is excellent. If you're a golfer introduce yourself to Adrian the starter, he's the absolute best of a great staff resort wide.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Wonderful resort!!

From check in to check out staff were amazing!!! Rooms were wonderful and very clean!! Food was excellent!! Tons of options!! Would we book at this resort again?? Most definitely!!! Drinks were always plentiful and powerful!!

Grand Oasis Palm: Child Friendly

Beautiful place not spread out.5 year 4year n 2month old,children you can let them run and know there is no escape. bonus kids club ,Acomidates till 10 pm.Free......The ocean is the bay and water is worm n calm.Pirate ship pool is bonus for children althow youre expected to stay close.Food is gormay, Thanks to Gus n the team,Rooms are impecable clean.Staff is caring n considerate too others and go above n beyond to keep you safe.I will Return.God Bless...

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Wonderful, relaxing, fun vacation

We were a group of 4 female cousins who travelled to the Excellence from January 15-25, 2016. We absolutely loved the resort and the staff! We have vacationed at the Excellence Punta Cana and the Excellence Riviera Cancun, and while all of the Excellence properties are wonderful and offer similar amenities, the Playa Mujeres site was my favourite. Our rooms were in Building 7, Floor 3 – and this was perfect for me. Yes, you do hear the music from the Café Kafe, but that ends at 11pm. On the evenings when we did not attend the show, we enjoyed sitting on our balconies, having a drink and listening to the live music. We booked the catamaran/snorkeling tour to Isla Mujeres through Seasons Tours (located onsite) and had a great day. We did not rent a golf cart to tour the Island, but just stayed in the downtown area doing a bit of shopping, sitting on the amazing beach and sampling the local food. The Excellence resort offers many daily activities, but I was there to relax and only participated in the bicycle tour and poolside bingo (low skill games match my skills :)). I meant to try the rifle shooting and archery, and I had planned on touring the Kitchen but I just never got around to it. One of my cousins booked the water treatment at the Spa and she loved it. I always enjoy breakfast in the Buffet restaurant, but we did try breakfast at The Grill and through Room Service. The food was great and varied. The Aroma (coffee) Bar is new and was extremely popular. We were given wonderful service everywhere, but these people made a special impression on us. Vilma, Hotel Concierge – promptly answered all of my questions and emails prior to our arrival. Byron – the Porter who helped us with our luggage on arrival and departure. Amerani and Erick – Concierge for Building 7 were both helpful and attentive – excellent customer service. Cesar and Hugo at the Martini bar – always smiling. We nicknamed Cesar the acrobatic bartender  Diego, Vivianna and Cecilia at the Café Kafe bar. Jose, Oscar and Julianna for their great service at the Sol bar. Freddie and Angel at The Grill. Alberto and Rigo at Toscana. Marco at the Mediterranean restaurant. Hostesses Andrea and Monica at the Buffet always remembered our names. And Sofia from the entertainment staff who led the bicycle tour and provided our tour group with interesting historical information. All in all, we had a terrific 10 day vacation, ate too much, tried different drinks, met wonderful people, were the recipients of great service – and we hope to make a return visit to the Excellence Playa Mujeres !

Moon Palace Cancun: Fantastic Family Vacation

The Moon Palace exceeded our expectations overall. I can't say enough about the amazing service from the flowers and cool towels we were given at reception to the private check in area that had drinks and snacks which were a pleasant surprise for everyone after the long flight. The hotel was only 15-20 min drive from the airport. Every single staff member were incredibly polite, friendly and genuinely looking to make your day better. We travelled with 8 kids ranging from age 1-10 and the kids c [... read more]lub at both the Nizuc (smaller club) and the Sunrise (about 5 times bigger with a climbing zone, theatre, video games and a ton of activities) were a huge hit with all the kids. The staff was very interactive and actually played with the kids. the teen club was filled with an arcade and video games for the older kids which was fun for the dads as well! Food was fantastic and not having to make reservations was a pleasant change and very relaxing. Favorites were the grill by the Nizuc pool which had grilled chicken, steak, burgers and fish daily, the Brazilian steakhouse, Momo Japanese cooking tables - great show and delicious food! Only downside was the pools were not heated (not a issue for the little kids but the older ones and adults found it too cold to go in) and some issues with booking the golf on the resort credits. They told us that they were booked solid for 2 weeks and the first tee time each day was 3:45pm which would barely give you 9 holes before it gets dark. So we had to pay extra baggage fees to bring down our clubs and we were only able to get one round in after spending over 2 hours fighting with the booking agents and the managers. Booking everything else was no issue and its much easier to call 4444 to book spa packages instead of waiting in the long lines at the main lobby. Be sure to ask about the hidden fees for the excursion packages booked with the resort credits (ie. towel or transportation fees that aren't included). We did the dolfin trip and although it was very expesive $150 pp (and no kids rate) it was one of the best ones we have ever done and there was alot of time spent with the Dolfins. Otherwise, the resort was beautiful, clean, very well kept and we had an amazing time. We are looking very forward to going back to this resort within a year so that we can use our remaining resort credits. I highly recommend this resort for anyone with families.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Incredibly amazing resort!

The junior suites are beautiful, the food was exceptionally good, the staff was incredible and the grounds are stunning! The layout of the resort was very nice. The bars and entertainment were very, very good! We had an amazing two week vacation and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Sun Palace Hotel: Top notch service, relaxing, no kids

Well-maintained adults only hotel close to the cancun strip. Easy access to shopping and nightlife with the public transit bus. Food was amazing everyday, although my absolute favorite was the Italian restaurant. The views from the room, restaurant, and pools was amazing. The sun rises right outside your window every morning. In-room jacuzzi takes forever to fill but makes for an enjoyable relaxing experience. Rooms are VERY Clean and modern. Staff are superb on every level although I do recommend avoiding the timeshare presentation if you are not looking to spend your life savings. Entertainment staff were friendly and kept the fun going. Beach staff will set up your umbrella once you've picked your lounger everyday! Unlike other resorts, it was never difficult to find a lounger on the beach or by the pool. We did the chitchen itza and dolphin swim excursion with our resort credits. Both were well-run and very enjoyable. Palace resorts is the best experience I have ever had and I will definitely return in the future. We visited each of the sister resorts beach palace and moon palace and all were amazing. Moon palace is far and does NOT have a nice beach, but it still provides a great family resort experience.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: not bad

The food was good in general, there was a lot to choose from, however some of the specialty restaurants don't quite seem to get their act together because some basic international dishes are nowhere close to having ingredients and characteristics you will see in North America.i.e. we ordered a minestrone soup and got something that looked like a vegetable broth with some pasta on it but I wouldn't have guessed they call that minestrone. The room's quality doesn't quite belong to a 4* I would say more 3 to 3 1/2 and there is no gym. Another thing that sucks is no free wifi. Come on this is standard and I was shocked to learn that you have to pay 70 US for a week of internet.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Beautiful Resort

The buildings, grounds and rooms were immaculate and staff was always cleaning. The wait staff were always helpful and quick to respond to your needs. Food was excellent, could have been a little hotter at times. The pool side chairs seemed to book up fairly quick, all taken by 10am or so, I think because it was cooler the week we went and the beach wasn't overly busy because of the cool breeze. Beach although beautiful was a little rocky and shared frontage with neighbouring Riu.
