Flamingo Las Vegas: A Real Las Vegas Hotel

In our opinion it has the best grounds and pools in Vegas. Though not a glamorous hotel and some upgrades to rooms and hallways are sorely needed, it still has it's charm and history. We have stayed here before and will return again because of its location and grounds. We don't stay long in our rooms anyway because it is Vegas and there is so much to do!

The Linq Hotel: the qued

After having almost a 11 hour delay in Toronto with Air Canada I didn't think it could get any worse. What can I tell you about the Quad. We have stayed at the Imperial Palace now the Quad for years. We knew that they were renovating it but never in my wildest dream could I imagine that a hotel chain like the Quad is part of could book rooms like the one they were going to put us in. The first room they gave us was in towel 3 on the third floor. When the elevator door open we were in shock. The  [... read more]wall paper was half off the walls and with pieces still hanging loose. The pipes and electric wires on the ceiling where exposed and hanging down as well. We then walked down the hall way on a very dirty carpet to the room. When we opened the door there was no lights and the room was not made up Going back to the front desk they made us feel that it was our fault because we asked for a low floor. We did ask for a low floor but not one that should have been condemned . We where then put in towel one on the 17th floor. Not much better but it did have lights and it was made up The next morning we went down to talk to the manager to ask about us going to one of their many other hotels in Vegas and was told that because we booked with a package deal she could not do anything about it. I still do not understand the reason. She did give us a $30.00 room food credit. to be used in one of the two restaurants that is in the Quad. and to let you know that was not even enough for the two of us to have breakfast I would really like to know how a travel centre could book someone into a hotel in the condition that the Quad is

Mirage: Good Hotel!

The guest room elevators seem rather far from the front entrance, requiring guests to walk through a very smoky casino to get to their rooms. Pool,was very crowded...had to line up before 8 in order to get deck chairs. Room was good...would be nice to have a fridge! Carnegie Deli was a hit!

Flamingo Las Vegas: great place to stay

Great Location, excellent pools and good restaurants. Staff are friendly and very helpful and rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms need some upgrades but overall a pleasant stay and Casino offers a wide variety

Disney All Star Movie: Sufficiant

The Resort was quite dated and the rooms were worn and disappointing, though the beds were comfortable, moldy mildew on the shower curtains and the fridge wasn't wiped out, the design on the carpet was worn right out and dirty looking, though the staff was wonderful and the housekeeping staff was great and making it bearable to be in the rooms. The kids had stuffed animals and the housekeeping staff arranged them differently every day and that made the kids look forward to returning to the room  [... read more]and seeing how their bears were arranged. The food court was over crowded and the food was ok, portions a little small for the price. Front desk and check in was quick though disappointing as online we asked to be either Dalmation's or in the Toy Story section and we were placed in the Mighty Ducks section. That was ok after a while as we just decided to spend less time in the resort. I would recommend paying extra and staying at one of the better Disney Resorts or stay off site.

Golden Nugget: Great Location

It is a very busy hotel. You may have to wait in lin-ups for checking in & out; you may not be able to get a chair around the pool; you may have to be patient walking through the crowds .... but it's a great location. I prefer the Fremont night life. I was in Vegas twice this year and usually spent time on the strip during the day for looking around, shopping & shows but it was always nice to go back to Fremont at the end of the night to enjoy great street entertainers and a casual fun atmospher [... read more]e - when you are ready to shut it down your're right there at your hotel.

Paris Las Vegas: Nice Resort

Paris was a good central resort. The city view was still great as you could see the mountains & the planes landing. The food was great, but the rooms were out-dated but still nice.Mon Ami Gabi restaurant was fantastic, would recommend it, also the Eifel Tower Restaurant was over the top ! No pun attended.

Crowne Plaza Times Square: Great service and courtesy

The hotel was great. they found out it was my milestone birthday and that night when we returned from a beautiful day of sightseeing and a show, there was a chocolate piece of cake (delicious BTW) and a bottle of red wine with a note from the operations manager wishing me a Happy Birthday. Very nice touch. We did have difficulty with the TV set (which was quickly repaired by a technician) and there was no Hair dryer in the bathroom when we arrived, but they quickly sent one up when we called the [... read more] desk. Location was great, walking distance from everything and public transit close by. All in all a truly great first impression of New York City. More than I expected.

Crowne Plaza Times Square: great location

had a nice stay at this hotel. was there to celebrate my friend's birthday and the hotel surprised her with a bottle of wine and cake- very thoughtful. the location is amazing, just steps to Time Square. would recommend this hotel to anyone going to New York

The Venetian Resort: Amazing resort

We stayed at The Venetian from Sep 21st to 25th. This resort is in a class by itself, from the staff at the front desk to the rooms with sunken living rooms, this is a world class resort. We actually got married there so I have to thank the wedding planner Caroline and her staff, Pastor Jack and Devon the photographer. Thanks for making out day so special from Oliver and Jennifer. We will certainly be back soon.

Circus Circus: las Vegas trip

I really like to stay in Circus Circus hotel reasonable price. clean.Thinking next time to stay there again. just when we came to airport they tell us ours flight delayed for 6hrs.then again for3hrs and ours short vacation was spoiled we was tired.more then9hrs delay we back to Toronto at4-5am .nobody can meet us taxi asked $70 to go to Richmond hill and now i would like to make complain to air Canada for this kind of inconvinious

Crowne Plaza Times Square: Great location!

The hotel was very clean and friendly service. Just our floor for the whole 4 days did not have ice in the main ice machine area. I complained and nothing was done. I had to go on the floor below to get ice. Also, our room pass/key magnetic strip was canceled after three days at the hotel. The night Manager was trying to fix the problem. Thank God we had adjoining rooms with our friends.

Flamingo Las Vegas: Great Hotel

Having been to Vegas countless times in the past, I was at first skeptical about staying at the Flamingo. My concerns, however, were quickly put to rest by the excellent quality of service we received from check-in to check-out. The hotel has been largely renovated, the pool area is spectacular but perhaps, best of all, is the Flamingo's absolutely perfect location on the "strip". You can walk to virtually any of the other hotels, shows, and restaurants without needing to take a taxi or bus. The [... read more] Flamingo itself, is attached to the cosy Margaritaville Hotel and Casino, and just steps away from the new LinQ complex of shops and eateries. Strongly recommended!

Encore Las Vegas: Amazing and beautiful resort !!

Suites are specious , pools and grounds are beautiful especially up high from the Panoramic view suite :-) I'm so amazed when I walk through the resort no matter where I look . Those expensive carpet tiles chandeliers pictures and so on . In the restaurants waitresses and waiters are very polite . Great job they do

Mirage: Wonderful Stay

Great location, not so big that it takes you half an hour to walk to the door, but big enough. Enjoyed the am Buffett , good value and large selection of items. The pool was great, sufficient lounge chairs for the guests present.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort: Beautiful Resort!

We loved this resort! Very clean, nice staff, and beautiful grounds! We stayed in the ranchos 7B, it was a bit of a distance to the front of the resort but the main pool is very close which was great for the kids and there's a bus stop right behind the building very convenient.

Bellagio: Amazing resort. Rooms are lovely and housekeeping.

Grounds are beautiful and housekeeping staff provided excellent service. Room telephone service was very very expensive. This should be made clear to customers. Ideal location on the strip. Water show at night is a must to see.

Caesars Palace: awesome

Hotel is great, room was clean and stunning facing pool. I dropped a star because hotel buffet had us take a number just to come back to submit payment then wait another hour in line to get in for total 2.5 hours and the buffet cost 130 with tax and tip. No cheap food anywhere within walking distance. Of $1100 spent on our 4 day trip, 700 was for food and it was just 2 of us. Watch for solicitors outside hotel on bridges spanning roads, they are everywhere

Planet Hollywood Resort: Great Hotel

the hotel was nicely located at the centre of the srtip and the staff when checking-in and out were great! The rooms were nicely laid out. we had a smoking room and were given the option to change to another room, but we couldn't even tell that it was a smoking room. The pool was great and a good place to party. The only issues I had with the hotel was that we couldn't bring our own alcohol to the pool when other hotels allowed it and they cahrged WAY TOO MUCH for drinks by the pool.

Tropicana: Excellent location and family balance

Tropicana is one of the original casino hotels that has retained its charm while decently renovated. Does have a small casino floor, huge estate and amazing location on the strip. The pool area is great along with decent sized rooms. If booking a package please be careful of "long-hauling taxis" as the ground transportation is poor. Nevertheless if you decide riding the bus (WAX) it's only 5min /$2 ride from the terminal
