Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: A Wonderful Week

My boyfriend and I vacationed here for a week in October during the hurricane season. Overall, I’d give it an 8/10! Beach and pool were lovely, the staff (entertainment) were amazing! Only wish the food was better.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Nice Resort

Room were very nice, spacious and kept very clean. Pool was great and grounds were extensive and a great variety with access to the four properties. Loved the black swans and flamingos. Beach was clean.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Mouldy Rooms

I was hoping to be able to relax on the beach or in my room with a book by myself. Turns out I had to change rooms four times and there were still issues. Seems like if you're not with a male that can stand up for you you get targeted by whatever game they happen to be running at that hotel at the time whether or not you're a participant. I will not ever be returning and will not recommend this to anyone. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Very beautiful resort

We went there 4 years ago,loved the place.This time we went in off season, not all the buffet was open.Also we had no brand liquor, that we recognized. But we did find some thing to drink. We could only book on alacart restaurant, because they only had one open a night. The staff were amazing, we would go back but not the beginning on October

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beautiful.resort

The property is beautiful the water and.mountains. The French restaurant was fantastic. We did star prestige well.worth the.money. Only negative was because it was low season they offered a deal for the locals to attend the resort at times.the pool was out of.control so service suffers and the lunch buffet service.was terrible was chaotic. Hotel Mojito: Overall Great Stay at Mojito! Would Stay Again!

Food: This is my third time at a Cuba all inclusive and Mojito has the best food yet! Of course I recommend that the earlier you arrive for each buffet meal the better. Breakfast had an egg station, lunch and dinner had meat stations and a really delicious pasta station where they make/cook it to your preference in front of you! (Make sure to bring a tip if you take advantage!) Snack bar was open every day an hour later than advertised but the pizza and fries were awesome. Unfortunately they had no champagne throughout our stay but we enjoyed the bars thoroughly! Rooms: We were unexpectedly upgraded to one of the "22" rooms upon arrival and it was perfect. Not an awesome view (because of the tornado), but the porch was spacious, the beds were pretty soft and the room was quite clean with barely any bugs! (the occasional harmless ant or spider) Grounds/Facilities: Really impressive since the hurricane was only a year ago! Pool is really beautiful and clean, they also had a nice disco, gym, cigar shop, gift shop and beach bar. Staff: Most staff were absolutely awesome, the best service i've gotten in Cuba so far! Service in the buffet, lobby and beach bars, and a-la-cartes was excellent. Service at the pool snack bar was confusing and sometimes not great. Initially I attempted to order up at the counter but was told to go back and wait at a table for a server to take my order. I sat and waited for about half an hour, so I went back to the counter to ask about it and was told my order was already put in! Obviously not as I waited another twenty minutes for it to be brought. Other than that particular instance I found that service is much slower during busy times like lunch (awesome at night!), there seems to be a couple staff working there that have a bit of an off putting attitude. Beach: Beautiful, long and white. Tons of palapas, warm shallow turquoise ocean. Absolutely gorgeous. Other: Mojito is super close to the airport so we were the first stop on the bus route. Quick check in and greeted by cocktails, shuttle to room. Didn't go to any shows but passed by a really impressive dance performance in the lobby one night. Overall the most "not sick" i've ever felt in Cuba which is notable! Be sure to bring enough cash for the week as there are no ATMs at the hotel (bank at the market 5mins walk away, they also have ceasers there!), they can exchange it for you at the front desk. Please tip! These lovely people definitely need that 1CUP a lot more that you do! Unfortunately during our stay we witnessed quite a few Europeans be very curt and blatantly rude with the staff, never tipping! It was all very upsetting to watch.

Not sure where to begin… Iberostar Resorts remain a wonderful place to vacation – where your every need is met. This is our second stay at an Iberostar Resort and it never disappointed. We loved the beautiful grounds of Quetzal – It is as if the architects took a piece of jungle and carefully decided where each building and feature would fit in best, without spoiling its superb surroundings. Wildlife such as the comical, and sometime cheeky, coatimundi; agouti, grey squirrel, and black iguana abound in every exquisite area, howler monkeys shout noisily in the tree-tops, while the eagles fly high overhead scanning for prey. Exotic birds move freely in and out of the resort; colourful parrots, majestic pink flamingos, swans, grey crowned cranes. heron as well as many smaller species. The beautiful walks that meander through the resort are alive with the pleasant sound of waterfalls, and babbling streams – If you love nature you will love this place. While this resort has all the modern amenities one comes to expect of a five-star hotel, it delivers even more with its setting. Just minutes from the warm Caribbean Sea and a wide flat beach with white powder-soft sand, it has an illusion of being in the middle of a rain-forest. Very clever on the part of the designers! The meals were scrumptious, I have to commend the skill and artistry of the pastry chef – Alejandro – He is world class and his amazing creations have to be seen to be believed - Truly amazing and mouth-watering. Our room was kept spotless by the inconspicuous housekeeping team who left rose petal adorned towel creation on our comfortable king-size bed. The evenings were whiled away with awesome meals eaten at the elegant specialty restaurants and entertainment of a high standard. From reception to grounds-keepers, all the staff were friendly and polite. Having raved on about how much we enjoyed our stay there is one person I need to single out. Upon arrival at the airport there was a miscommunication between Iberoservice and the Sunwing agents and we were left without a shuttle service to the hotel. After waiting in the hot sun for 2 hours we decided to grab a taxi. At the concierge desk an exceptionally helpful YOUSEF took us under his wing and went above and beyond his duty, to sort out the issue. He made several phone calls, walked us to the Iberoservice desk where we received little assistance and then took us to the Sunwing representative, Antonio, who without hesitation refunded our taxi fare in full. I know that it is this kind of service that gives a business a good reputation, turns a bad situation into an opportunity to shine, and keeps customers coming back. YOUSAF – you are an amazing compliment to Iberostar, you are passionate to serve your customers and care only about their satisfaction. Because of you, we will continue to come back to Iberostar.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: FABULOUS RESORT

We had an amazing time at the Iberostar Hotel in Montego Bay Jamaica. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating , the food fantastic, the room very clean. I will stay here again on my next trip to Jamaica. I also love that they provide on site shuttle to where ever you want to go on the island for a reasonable price.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Good

Hotel was clean food was good. Service was excellent. The pool was also very big. The beach was covered in sea weed all the time and the ocean had tons of sea weed as well. I recommend this hotel to families they had lots of kids activities going on.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Great time

Had an amazing time at the resort. The people are very friendly and will make your stay enjoyable. Good food. Try the 4 resturants, they all had great food and service. Pool was warm and so was the ocean. Rooms were big and clean.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: very nice resort with great beach

simple resort with nice pool and great beach; ocean front. Rooms were up to date; not modern but nice and clean. grounds were neat and well taken care of as was lobby area and restaurants. staff were very pleasant and outgoing; easy to talk with and always saying hello and trying to assist.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Unforgettable beaches!!!

We have visited Iberostar Ensanachos at the beginning of July and liked it so much that have decided to return for another week the same summer, at the end of August. It’s also been our first vacation in Cuba, and, we loved it. First and foremost, the white-sand beaches and clear blue waters of the ocean are truly amazing. The rooms are very clean, some are bigger than others. They are also cleaned in a timely manner. In addition, one building was being refurbished, another in the final stages of construction. The food - despite all we’ve heard about Cuba - was amazing in the buffet. There was always plenty of food for all meals; for lunch and dinners there were three types of meat grilled according to each customer’s wish as well as three types of fish - which we’ve absolutely loved. There was salmon, snapper, mahi- mahi and every other day shrimp, squid, and even lobster. The restaurants on the beach served food for lunch as well. We only went to one a la carte restaurant - we’ve enjoyed the selection of buffet more. We liked the food so much that my husband gained weight this time - and this has never happened to him on many trips we’ve taken thus far. Other amenities at the resort were good. The pool was good and quite spacious, and, never really busy, We’ve played tennis and my son even took tennis lessons with Reno - a professional tennis player. And, the service was great - everywhere- buffet restaurant, pool bar, beach bar, beach restaurants. Whether we’ve given a tip or not, we felt we’ve been treated the same. Jorgio (sic?) at the piano bar was very nice and funny, Osniel and Vangie at the buffet were the best waiters ever. And drinks - very generous - at all bars. Finally, we felt very safe at all times, And that was of utmost importance to us and our children. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone! Just remember, you’re on vacation, there’s no rush!!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Truly Grand

This was our 4th time visiting the grand, and once again it did not disappoint. The food, drinks, grounds, rooms and especially staff/people are absolutely amazing. I would give it 10 stars if possible. You are treated like royalty!!! We will be back for a fifth time for sure!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Amazing resort

The resort was gorgeous! Room very clean as well as the rest of the spaces. The views of the ocean, just as they appear on their site. Great ambience and food for the most part, although their a la carte restaurants sometimes missed the mark.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Blissfull trip

My boyfriend and I took a holiday to Iberostar this September. I don't think words can describe how perfect our vacation was. From booking the flight, to going and coming home every single part was smooth. Nothing about the people or the place deserves a bad review. I suggest booking with Marlena Bielak. She made the process easier than expected. The food was amazing, the staff was accommodating and fun. This trip was worth every penny. The price is well worth it for the vacation you will have.

I loved the pools all separate children’s pool and sport pool and bar pool Great trip my son and daughter took to Dolphin and boat trip Joyce was great from the hotel who sold trip to us She even checked on me when they went on trip to see if I needed anything The food was fine and the ladies cleaned our room were great and the waitresses were great very helpful Peter and Entertainment group were great The ocean was great All round great vacation

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful Resort

The service was great, food was not the best, but we had variety of choices, people were amazing and for sure, the beach - heaven :-) The only problem was the internet, when I bought the package, it was not specify that we have to buy internet card. It was not a big deal for me, at least, this keep the kids on outdoor activities. But it will be good to know before.

Stayed at the Iberostar in Sept.2018. Grounds: excellent Service: excellent Food: buffet was great A la carte restaurants: Japanese was so so, French was great, Mexican was so so, did not try the steakhouse. Room: clean, spacious, good storage, good view of the ocean in the prestige section.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Resort, Definitely Revisiting!!

I came to this resort with my partner for a wedding. It did not disappoint. The food selection was amazing, I love my cheese and cured meat! Beware it is Cuba so you may get sick, I know some of my friends did. Avoid cut up fruit, the pasta bar is your best friend. The Japanese a la carte was the best one. The pool bar was my favourite hang out spot. The only issue I had was during checkin they did not have any rooms with a King size bed available but we got to switch rooms after the second nigh [... read more]t.
