Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Amazing!!!

We had an wonderful time at the Hyatt Ziva. We stayed there May 1st to 8th, but wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel and grounds are beautiful! All the rooms have a spectacular ocean view, they are very nice and comfortable. The food was great, loved the restaurant choices. All the staff was very friendly and caring, the front desk, the servers, cooks, hostesses, housekeepers, lifeguards, pool staff...everyone was so nice. Loved the beach and the pools. They had a special event every nigh [... read more]t we were there. One of the nights they had a mexican night right on the beach, with a beautiful buffet dinner and entertainment. I would highly recommed this hotel. It is located just 10 -15 minutes from the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta, but it is so much nicer than staying right in town, and the beach is private :-) We'll definitely be back!

Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Beautiful resort

Overall, the resort was great! It is quite new and modern, with great amenities. There are two connected pools at beach level, with ample seating around the pool, and lots of beach front chairs. The beach itself was very beautiful- we had perfect, sunny weather every day, and the ocean was warm and very swim-able. There were lots of beach vendors, but they weren't too pushy, and weren't any worse than anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. The service was quite good- everyone working at the resort is very friendly, and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great trip. Make sure you tip, as everyone working here deserves it very much for their hard work. The biggest disappointment for me was the food. It was very North American, and frankly quite bland, especially at te buffet. It was a lot of cold cuts, salad bar, instant mashed potatoes, pasta and meats in gravy type of meals. It would have been awesome to have more authentic local food options, and I was also quite surprised at the lack of seafood. I've stayed at other resorts in Puerto Vallarta which weren't as nice as the Hilton, but I found the food at the other resorts to be far superior. The resort restaurants were slightly better than the buffet, but still nothing great. We definitely enjoyed the best meals of our trip in town... Which conveniently is a short bus or taxi ride from the resort. If it wasn't for the food, I'd give the Hilton 5 stars. Overall, it was a really great trip and a beautiful resort.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Great resort, great value

We had a fantastic time at Decameron Los Cocos. My boyfriend and I (both 22) stayed here for a week in late April. The resort is right on a beautiful beach. Everything is extremely clean, the resort itself is super colorful and cute, and the food is pretty alright. Don't come here expecting a 5-star luxury resort in a gated community - that is not what you get. There are tons of activities to do, the water is warm, there are several pools, and nightly entertainment shows featuring incredible dancing talent! We absolutely loved it here and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a family-friendly vacation on a budget.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Needs some upgrading but very clean.

Grounds very well kept, needs upgrading, great location the food was very good except need more variety as the dinners were close to the same at nite time.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a king size bed but ended up with 2 double beds--a little small for 2 people.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Best Resort Ever!!!!!

We have been to at least 20 All Inclusive Resorts and this is the Best ever!!!! Accomodation, Food, Staff, Beach cannot fault anything. Would go back in a hearbeat. Located about 3/4 hour drive from Airport on a secluded beach.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: AMAZING PRESORT AMAZING STAFF

From begging to end a wonderful vacation. Central location, close to airport,downtown and shopping.A class service with a smile, beach area and pools fantastic with premium liquors and they have Corona!!! The No reservations for the All-Cartes was amazing and would definitely go back. Oh did i mention the 24hr room service, stoked beer fridge in room and the fact that the entire resort is ocean view with breathtaking sunsets daily. Riu Vallarta: Excellent Resort

Grounds where very nice and well kept, pools clean but a little small for the size of the hotel, Steak house was a nice change but average, Nirvana restaurant was good and would recommend, had a reservation at Sir George's but was not able to eat due to myself wearing dress shorts (make sure you bring long pants) rooms where clean and towels were plenty,beds where hard as a rock so make sure you ask for a mattress pad when you arrive, AC worked great in rooms 8075&8076, and where nice and quite  [... read more]away from the court side rooms,the in room bar and fridge were only stocked every second day but our liquor bottles were empty for 4 days and we had to call for replacement, the buffet was excellent and had many different choices for all to enjoy as we had breakfast lunch dinner there most of the time and service was great. Marival Distinct all Suites and World Spa: Simply the Best!

The Marival Residence Luxury Resort is exactly what this location is, luxurious. Staff are excellent, informative and kind. The resort is kept clean, the restaurants are top knotch and the pool area is well looked after. Whether you go as friends, couples or families you are sure to enjoy all of the amenities. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Perfect vacation!

The staff friendly, professional hard working. Entertainment staff were very energetic and fun. Rooms perfect with amazing views and kept spotless all week. The food was fantastic very tasty our favorite was the steak house. The grounds were impecably kept. We went as a couple, this is a family resort there is lots for kids to do all day, smiling faces everywhere! One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had! Loved it will definately go back!

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Very friendly Friendly!

Everthing people have said about about the hotel is true. Friendly, clean, wonderful staff. The food is another story. How could anybody say dinner buffet was good. It was completely inedible. Unrecognizable and barely warm!!! Three nights the main was spaghetti - including the Mexico Fiesta on the beach. Another night PANCAKES. Had trouble puting a salad together. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Amazing staff

A true Mexican atmosphere, architecture, landscaping and bright variety of Mexican color. We wanted a Mexican theme, we got it, we love it, we admire it. Its the staff that really make the difference they were wonderful and very helpful. I got stomach sick when I checked in from my food at Air Transat. Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: A little oasis

The grounds were very pretty and not to big. Great place for families. The staff were so kind and helpfully. They really seemed happy to help. Pool side chairs could use some updating but grounds kept very clean

Riu Vallarta: Wonderful experience at the Rui Vallarta

We can't say enough about the wonderful staff at the Rui Vallarta they where there to anticipate our every need. The rooms and common areas where kept very clean and because I like a soft bed the staff came to my room at 11 pm and put a matress topper on my bed after which I had a wonderful sleep the rest of my stay.The food was well presented and always plentiful I think my husband gained 5 lbs . Overall I can honestly say from the time I walked in to book our trip for four at trip central to the day we returned to Canada from Puerto Vallarta we had a great experience .

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Amazing resort

my husband and I travelled to the Grand Palladium April 5-15, we had an amazing time. The resort is beautiful, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to bartenders Carlos, and Viktor for going above and beyond with your customer service, and making sure our drinks were never empty. We love [... read more]d our room, being told at check-in that we had a garden view room, and getting into our room to walk out on the patio to find out we had a great view of the ocean as well. The beds were super comfy, an added bonus when on day 5 of our 10 day vacation I came down with the stomach flu. At that point all I wanted was a comfy bed, and Iwe most certainly did. To the Management at Grand Palladium, you should be proud of ALL your staff, seriously. We are already planning next years vacation with our friend's at this resort...

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Amazing AI Resort

What an amazing time at the lovely Hyatt Ziva. We arrived and received a hot towel and tropical drink. All of the staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful! There were not any language barriers which may cause some issues at other places. The room was wonderful and had the most amazing ocean view!! Did not require a balcony since the doors slide open and a nice ocean breeze comes in. It was so nice to hear the ocean waves crash at night and wake up to the sounds in the morning. We ate at Blaze for both lunch and dinner and both were really great. Had dinner at the Casa Grande, it was delicious, ordered the beef filet. I am not sure why people have gone to this restaurant and come out disappointed! Awesome margarita there too! Managed to have lunch and dinner at the Italian restaurant and also had dinner at the Asian restaurant twice! All of the food was simply incredible you will not be disappointed. I wish I had the time to eat everything off of all of their menus. We even ordered room service a few times and was so impressed with the quality of food. Spent a lot of time in the sports bar playing pool. They have a snack menu and the chips and guac were delicious! The bartender there was so great! We never had an empty glass! Wish I had gotten his name to mention here. Same with the waiter at the Asian restaurant the last night we were there, he was super awesome, next time I will remember names! Kayaking was such a great experience as well. I didn't notice a lot of the marine life when just playing in the waves. There were a lot of families there when we went, don't know if this is a regular occurrence or not but it wasn't really that bothersome, just didn't expect there to be as many kids as there was. I miss it already and hope to return in a year or two to try out more of the food!

Las Palmas by the Sea: Great Resort in Puerta Vallarta

The resort was kept really clean and the maid service was excellent. The food was excellent, and the waiters and bar tenders did a great job. This resort caters to a lot of Mexicans, (it is nice to see that they can afford vacations like us) so you will get to practice your Spanish a lot if you want.

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Fantastic Trip

This resort lives up to its name. The staff are very friendly. The resort is definitely aging, bit is still comfortable and inviting. We had a beautiful 8th floor view of the ocean. The food is so so. Could be better, could be worse. I would recommend the Sunset restaurant for the fantastic breakfasts, and the snack bar for the delicious pizzas. Overall, great time and I would return.

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Wonderful vacation

Our party of 6 stayed at the Grand Marival Resort and had a wonderful time...Our rooms, the food, the pool, the drinks, the people all excellent.. Would definately return...Special thanks to Cesar at the pool for getting us chairs and unbrellas for 6 everyday!!

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Wonderful stay!

We spent an amazing week at the Hyatt Ziva April 17 to 24. The setting is beautiful with manicured grounds on a large private cove beach. All of the facilities are top notch and meticulously maintained by friendly and helpful staff. We hope to return with our adult children next year!
