Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun: Fab Fiesta

Loved this hotel. Great pool, comfortable room, excellent food. I would go back to this resort and the only change I would make is to book an oceanview room. The specialty restaurants do not need reservations and you are not limited to how many times you can go to each. One of the only downsides is you do have to reserve your poolside chair early or you will not get one.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Not a 5 star resort.

Grounds great. Rooms and restaurants look very cheap/ Ex beds do not have cover. Restaurants look like you are at fast food court..... Most of the restaurants staff do not speak English. Waiting for food is too long.... The staff at Finest Playa Mujeres have a LOT to learn from Excellence Playa Mujeres and The Beloved

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort

Well, more positives than negatives. We took the adult package (building #2 on the 7th floor) which was very beautiful, convenient, relaxing and accommodating. In the adult facilities, regular staff was amazing, watch for Jose, in the 8th floor adult lounge, Erik at the adult pool bar, Hector at the adult section lunch and dinner buffet and Alexis and Carlos at the adult breakfast buffet. The buffet was the only disappointing feature. For non themed regular buffet, the selection was not that great for lunch and dinner. Lots of stew type dishes with the very basic proteins that were a little bland and not too imaginative and unlike other resorts a noticeable lack of seafood other than the basic white fish. Themed and breakfast were good in the buffet, Italian, Mexican, salad bar and a snack station. The ala carts are the best bet, which we discovered after the second day, French (best), Italian, steakhouse, and Mexican, all were very good. The bars, other than the adult, seemed to be a little short staffed as they were trying to keep up with the orders which in turn caused some delays. Overall I would recommend this resort for couples like us or even families as it seemed that there was enough entertainment and activities for children.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Excellent service!

the resort is nice no real complaints our room was clean and fine for sleeping had a great view. We loved the service the most!! The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs and wants! We ate at the French restaurant 3 times loved the food. We always found enough to eat and drink. We will go back. We stayed in the adult crown club!!!!

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Fantastic Stay at The Finest

This hotel is a delight! Exquisite food and courteous staff. The rooms are spacious, well laid out and contain everything your need. The beach is large and gorgeous with clean clear water & beautiful pools!

Moon Palace Cancun: Incredible food experience!!

This resort would be near perfect if it had a swimmable beach! Found it a tad too huge but tons of stuff to do and loved having free range of all of the palace resorts in the area! AMAZING RESTAURANTS!

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Very high end, but lacks Mexico flavor

The whole place is very stylish and organized, very Americanized. Clean, good food, real drinks, the beach has very soft sand and without rocks. If you are looking for a vacation that feels like you never left Canada or the States, this is the place for you. I gave it a very low value for the buck for a very personal reason, ie this was not what I was looking for. I want a laid back resort, where I can grab food from the buffet on my way to the room, I want the pools open all night, I want to li [... read more]sten to salsa music at breakfast, lunch and dinner. This hotel was too sophisticated for my taste, I would recommend it to people who like being spoiled, but I would personally choose a more local-flavoured resort.

Beach Palace: Truly Wonderful Holiday.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Service and Food excellent. Very clean, very modern. The organization ie. pick up times and shuttles like clockwork. Beaches and drinks beautiful and free flowing. Although little time was spent in the room, the television programming sucks. Spoken like a true Canadian during Playoffs.

Moon Palace Cancun: Amazing Resort!

Had a wonderful time! The food/restaurant variety was great! The hotel staff was beyond friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! The beach was much better at their Beach Palace resort but they have a daily shuttle that can take guests there and back. Will definitely visit again!

Riu Cancun: This was an Amazing Resort!

The view was so beautiful and the Beach was Awesome. Our room was very clean. The Resort was very clean and the people were fantastic that worked there. Entertainment was wonderful. There was a Michael Jackson tribute and there was an Act that sounded like the Tenors. Almost forgot, the Food was so delicious with so many choices.

Riu Cancun: Worst experience ever had with hotel and agency

Hotel was overbooked and options provided were not satisfied at all, customer service was worst i have experienced. Never book again and none of my freinds and family will consider booking here again.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Good resort

Location, room, amenities were as expected. Great service and good overall. Beach was good, food was excellent. Shows were somewhat acceptable. People were very kind, helpful and things were as planned. Nothing negative in our stay.

Bellevue Beach Paradise: Had a great time

My girlfriend and I are were looking for a last minute get away to escape the brutal Toronto winter we barely survived. Price was our main concern this time, and when we found this last minute deal in Mexico we packed our bags and hit the beach! After going to nothing but resorts, we loved the "hotel" life. Everything is so close, you don't have to hike for miles for a view of the ocean or to get to the pool. The hotel is a little shabby, and yes there is no air conditioning, but we were on the [... read more] third floor with a great view overlooking the pool and the ocean. The breeze and the fan in the room were enough to keep us comfortable. And falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was a dream come true. The beds were fine, not just foam on concrete as in Cuba, the washrooms were clean, there was a coffee maker in the room, but never any coffee (just to tease you lol), but no problem, we took turns going to the lobby and bringing coffee back to the room for our morning fix while we watched the sunrise from the balcony. The food was better than Cuba and DR, but not as good as the last trip to Mexico we took when we stayed at a 5 star. But we were never hungry and always found something we liked and sometimes something we loved. The staff were friendly and courteous, very polite to the single ladies, they didn't hound us or any of the other single ladies (and there were a lot of us!) met lots of ladies travelling in groups and by themselves, and a lot of them return every year, all ages, and from all over the world. We felt safe getting on the busses for trips into Cancun for dinner and shopping, and drinks of course! If you are not too picky, and are looking for cheap and cheerful, this is the place for you! We are hoping to return soon and bring more of our friends!

Secrets Playa Mujeres: Great resort.

If you are someone who enjoys swimming in the ocean, you'll have to get use to seaweeds. Also the large amount of seaweeds that washes to shore. Keep in mind that it is a new resort and I would imagine that they will invest in a motorized "seaweed picker upper machine" in the near future. The pools were great, service was good and not having to book for dinner is a big plus. The food at all restaurants was more than excellent. Excellent entertainment and entertainment staff. We were particularly fond of Fernanda, what a sweetheart. We were somewhat disappointed when we were denied an upgrade as this was our third time staying at a secrets. Secrets boast of their service and their appreciation to repeat costumers but we did not receive any special treatments. In fact, we were promised an ocean view room, but we ended up in a corner of one of the building and could barely see the ocean. We stayed at Secrets Silversands four years ago and at Secrets Maroma two years ago. Maroma automatically upgraded us to a swim out room because we had stayed at Silversands before. We did not even requested an upgrade. We have been to Mexico 25 times, have done most of the Caribbean Islands and even the South Pacific on two occasions, all in five star resorts. Secrets Maroma is, by far, the best resort we have ever been to. Everything was top notch, from the food, bars with all high end spirits and beer (even the beach bar), the pools, the service, the activities and the BEACH. Can't say enough about the Beach. Don't get me wrong, Secrets Playa Majures is a great resorts, I just wish they would have acknowledged us as repeat customers by offering some incentive without having to sit through a preferred club session. Not sure if we would return to Secrets Playa Majures, but our next trip will definitely be at Secrets Maroma.

Grand Oasis Palm: Don't stay here unless you want to get sick

My family of 5 stayed at the Grand Oasis Palm in April 2015. Within 3 days 2 members became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea and 2 more members became sick within a couple more days. The lab tests after our return home revealed salmonella poisoning. When reading the reviews of this hotel, we read that many people have gotten sick here. This hotel cannot keep up with cleanliness and accommodating the amount of people that stay at this resort. The cleanliness of the pool water was very que [... read more]stionable. The beach and pools are not big enough for the amount of people at this resort. Very overcrowded. We will not return.

Caribbean Princess: Outstanding!

The food was second to none, super clean, everyone was friendly. I would advise to get the platinum suite. Only thing is that there is a lot of walking, it is about 1 kilometre front to back. Lots of old fat people too!

Riu Cancun: Amazing Hotel

The hotel was very clean and revenovated a short time ago. It was located on beach which had lots of chairs and space for relaxing, as well as the pools. Lots of activities to do. Close to airport. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Grand Oasis Palm: standard resort

We travelled to Mexico on April 5th to the Grand Oasis Palm...keep in mind we absolutely love Mexico.....like the oasis viva the year before its not rated correctly in our eyes. Standard rooms, mediocre food, really surprising for Mexico and you just don't get that feeling we've gotten at other resorts. The Oasis franchises nickel and dime you....will not be returning to any hotel with the name of Oasis in it. That being said will definitely use Tripcentral when we book our next trip.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Down a star

It's a good resort but God I hate to say that but it's true. The food has dropped and the consistances are no longer there. They have stopped providing the top shelf service that I enjoyed 2 years age. Not all but about 50% of the staff are sub par. I pay more and I want more. Please management if you read this go back to day one with all the care in everything from wrapping all your bathroom face clothes up to food quality. I truly would like it to be "our pleasure " again

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: excellent resort

this resort was all that we were wishing for, the staff was great, the view was wonderful, the food and drinks all were just great , the beach at this resort was so calm and wonderful compared to ones close by
